Grave Situation
“The other reason I
Didn’t show up?
Well…”
His eyes turned in,
Towards his soul
“It’s something I
Cannot name”
“Welcome to the court
Of consequences! ”
Her retort was immediate
And bruised
They stared, stunned
By nebulous knowledge
Deep into each other
And the relationship gasped
And died
The funeral never
Happened
No mourners dared
Visit the grave

How important a woman is!
Visit a funeral where it was of a man.
Visit a funeral where it was of his wife.
Take attendance and count the mourners.
It will tell how important the woman had been.

Eyes of Death
I looked into your eyes
Your Eyes of Death
I killed for those eyes to look into mine
Into my eyes of pain and guilt
I dared to walk into your path
I dared to take your hand into mine
And I dared to tell you my darkest secret
I stared into your Eyes of Death
And I lost my soul to them
When I looked into your Eyes of Death.
To this day, I am still dead
To this day, I can no longer live in the mortal world
To this day, we shall not die of fire, water, or love,
But of our Eyes of Death that rein our souls
I stare into your Eyes of Death and I cringe at the sight
I look into your Eyes of Death and I am no longer alive
I looked into your Eyes of Death
And I died again, before I could run from them
For I cannot stand to be around you to this very day again
I looked into your eyes
Your Eyes…of Death

Interment
Funeral.
A young man died in his sleep he was 49 years old, with my aged eyes
he was boy too young to die. I don't know the medical reason for his
early demise, think it has to do with burst blood vessel in the brain.
I went to his funeral last Sunday it was a sunny noon and thought at
least heavens could have cried. I didn't know him, but had hoped to
meet his sister, whom I adore, telling how sorry I was for her loss; but
the whole family was there in common grief, I wouldn't intrude in their
unhappiness. I spoke to a friend of hers and asked her to extend my
concern, I wanted her to know that I had been there to show respect
and that I cared. But could not escape the gnaw of guilt in my heart,
hadn't it been for her I might not have attended.

The Reason For The Split
To be in a relationship that ends,
For one to claim they do not know what happened...
Should not have been a relationship that began.
For someone not to be conscious,
Of their own relationship...
Could mean they do not wish to admit,
An activity or lack of providing it...
Was the reason for the split.
And...
If the other one involved in the same relationship,
Has a difficult time remembering it took place...
Well,
There is no need to continue a nosey probing.

Surprises 2
Life is filled with surprises
and I have had my fair share of them.
Imagine going to a friend’s funeral
and months down the line,
you end up marrying his widow.
Yes, that has happened to me.
Imagine after fifty-six years
discovering you had a brother
you never knew you had.
Yes, that has happened to me.
Imagine going to school with someone
you never remember speaking to
and then fifty-one years later
they become your best friend.
Yes, that has happened to me.
Imagine this friend
introducing you to a friend of theirs
and between them both
turn your life around.
Yes, that has happened to me.
Surprises happen when you least expect them,
they can happen anytime anywhere.
You can never predict when they will occur,
they just happen for a reason,
a reason for which we are never sure.
However, never turn your back on them;
count them as a blessing
that might never come again.

The Unmarked Grave
There are mourners beside an unmarked grave
witness how quietly they all there do behave.
All shedding silent tears for one they’ve lost
perhaps some loved one in this way to accost.
It seems uncertain if anyone about really knows
who is buried there beneath the grass that grows
at this distant lonely place away from all the rest
perhaps it was the deceased person’s last bequest.
There isn’t any indication to say when, where or how the person died
just these mourners that have come here it seems from far and wide
to pay their solemn respects to one for which only they all know
perhaps it’s the least thing to the departed one they now do owe.
The buried person must have left a strong impression in everyone’s mind
and when alive would have been an influence of some remarkable kind.
There’s no real telling just what the circumstances might then have been
but judging from the expression on all their faces one of deep loss is seen.
The flowers brought by all the mourners there
and placed on the ground at their feet where
they formed a cross inside a circle of distinction
to commemorate the passing with a benediction.

A letter to My Dad
Dad it's been twenty years,
since you have been gone now
when ever I think of you
the thought, brings tears
There's so much to tell
you, I don't know where to begin
two months, after you died
we had a son, he's so big now, I'm in a spell
I wanted for you, to meet my wife,
in a way you did, only at your funeral,
by then, it was to late
strangers were we, but never any strife
Between us, there was no hate or any love
many wasted words had we
I would like to mention, we have a daughter,
and she's sweet as a dove
Remeber the day, that you gave me old shep
he was a very fine dog
for a long time, I had him
for many years, he had a lot of pep
After nine years, he died too,
seems like ever thing I love
dies sooner or later
and that makes me feel, very blue
You don't realize, how much you love
some one, until their gone,
and then they
fly away like a dove
Toward the end, we had some good talks
you told me many things i didn't know
at your farm, on our many walks
You told me how you played ball,
it must have been something,
to have played back then
my son, dad like you is very tall
I have a very happy life
dad, I wish you could meet
my son and daughter,
also my wife
Dad, it's to bad, I didn't know you better,
too many years were wasted
and I should have told you, I love you,
so that's the reason, for this letter

Mothers Recognition
as a teen of 19 sits on her bed
trying yet again to not to believe that her older lover wasn't drinking again
but the bruises and cuts that lay on her body say other wise
razor blade in one hand
while praying to God to take away the loneliness
take away the emptiness she has felt for so long
she doesn't want to end it like this but she will if it comes down to it
tears roll down her face
but she doesn't see any reason to keep caring on with this life of hers
nothing to live for
nothing important enough to stay in the miserable thing we all call life
the tears are clouding her judgment making her think that nothing matters any more
she takes another hit of the pot to take away the pain
because her bruised and broken body feels like huge stakes are being driven into it
and someone is beating around them with a club
but on the other hand she can still feel his fists shooting into her broken and bruised body
that makes her twinge at the thought of that same morning
tears fall onto her up turned wrist as she places the razor blade and starts to cut into her wrist the door opened as a young boy about the age of 3 with dark brown hair with light brown eyes comes in and says 'Mommy what are you doing? '
her eyes start to uncloud as soon as his eyes met hers
they reached into her soul and replaced a piece of her heart
at that moment something came to her
she didn't have nothing because she was looking at everything that she would ever need to live for
that little boy should be her world
only she didn’t know it right away because the things that she charished the most were the things that were too close to see

Love Of The Sea
He sailed the sea. He loved the sea
and he died in the sea as well.
The sea loved him.
The sea welcomed him
in the deep and dangerous swell.
And so the two did meet,
unexpectedly the two did meet
and the sea became his grave.
The mourners cried when they thought of him
as they watched each windy wave.
But the sea and he were both content
so neither did lament.

Luv Ya!
If you happened to show up on my door step crying, I would care!
If you called me and asked me to pick you up because something happened, I would come!
If you had one day left to live your life, I would want to be part of that last day!
If you needed a shoulder to cry on, I would give you mine!
Do you know the relationship is between two eyes?
They blink together, they move together, they cry together, they see things together, and sleep together, But they never see each other; thats what friendship is.

A Funeral Note
Life on a lonely pillow,
The thoughts of the morrow to sleep at last;
Not a drum was heard at his funeral.
Of a funeral note,
Darkly as the dead of the night;
But its deep heart is full of dead men bones.
Fruits,
Sweet rejoice;
The flowers of that garden say it all.
Of error, ignorance and strife;
Like the barbarians at play,
Where the earth takes the dead away.
Of error, ignorance and strife;
Like a corpse within its grave,
Ready for the earth to swallow it.
Hear and hail,
Wear and wail;
Like the earth's decaying leaves where,
Life's lonely pillow shares the funeral note.
To all the overgrown sons,
To all the overgrown daughters,
With flowers and azure moss;
The impulse of your strength is like,
The Atlantic's level powers at sea.
Uncontrollable!
Like mourners with sad songs;
Their eyes are heavy and dim,
Broken with remorse like that orbed maid;
Where the moving-star shines dead,
And the thoughts of man die easily.

Loving Angels Instead
I dreamt my body died,
The wake was crowded,
The funeral was jam-packed,
Mourners all dressed in black and black.
They Kicked and pushed
Just like Lupe, but my funeral turnout
Was far from a fiasco (flop) ,
All along, two angels, side by side, lovingly overlooked.
I dreamt my soul ascended to heaven,
The choir was crowded,
The preachers section was jam-packed,
They all wore white and white.
No pushing, no shoving. Pure civilization
Like I had never seen before,
So, God choose me to be his chief poet (POET IVY)
All along, two angels, side by side, lovingly overlooked.
I dreamt my heart was broken,
So, I took that as a forewarning & stopped loving humans,
For they consistently let me down,
They promise but they fail. My heart is still red and red.
I even ate the love apple (tomato)
But, that didn’t help. So, henceforth
Just like Robbie Williams, I’m loving angels instead.
Life is better off loving angels instead.

I Wrote You A Letter
I Wrote You A Letter
But Its A Lie
But I Promise You'll Never See Me Cry.
Will You Come To My Funeral When I Die
Or Would You Look In My Lifeless Eyes
And See I Died Because Of You
Because Of The Things You Didn't Do

ASIF I was Scared of You
I don’t really know what happened… I was there on that day
you were there
so was I
You just stared with those glossy eyes
nothing I could say, nothing I could
possibly do.......
It was cold outside..
and empty all around
I was afraid of you
It was so sad
you didn’t let me be
who I wanted to be
you were a sham, A complete
sham!
you weren’t nice anymore
And that bright smile that you
always had......
It disappeared off your face
I didn’t know what to do
so I just cried my little heart out
Because I was heart broken
because of you.

Don't Forget to Write Your Funeral Plan
Michael Jackson's 'SMILE' played, as the coffin entered everyone stood tall
Mum's poem was read and felt by all
The Mourners were smiling at the photo's of Mum
As the DVD played, no one was glum
Happy pictures were played of Mum's life with a tear
To the tune of the music 'If I Lay Here'
Friends got up for the Eulogy
Wonderful Words spoken of Mum... Now free
Free to move on, to follow a new life
Happy if Dad, finds a new wife
Everyone looked like they were enjoying the moment
In a room full of love; as if Heaven sent
For Mum was so kind and by all adored
Yet sadly the Funeral Conductor looked everso bored
He looked like he had something better to do
This was just a job and he really didn't care just who...
Who had died Or who was grieving
About the life of this person or the world they were leaving
So... Make sure you write.. Your Funeral Plan
It saves pain for the family, A real helping hand
You can choose your Funeral Home, coffin, Cemetery and your music too
It will take away some pain Of losing you
On Authors, Critics and Readers
Some leave behind a hard-won name
Others only fame
A few the sweat and tears of their passage
Snatched from the rigours of their age
Yet none the folly of the game
Fiction is licensed perjury
The coward's excuse for character
Courage revelation originality veracity
All conspire to make for a writer
All mirrors distort
Reviewers like haïr-dressers retort
And mistake the fall of water for the harp
A mere critic can only carp
If what you see is repugnant
close your ever envious eyes
and you'll even see in darkness
and the reason for your blindness

Simple
(In memoriam our singer Madalina Manole who died yesterday after she committed suicide.)
If she would die
Simple
Being only
Profoundly devastated
By grieve
Perhaps nobody
Would have understood
What really happened to her.
But she didn't die so simple.
He died for ever
For everyone to understand
The reason why
The pure and simple truth
Is rarely pure
And never simple.
In this world
Perceived through our senses.
We are nonexistent
Without our soul.
And the world makes no sense
Any longer.
Tears do not fall,
Leaves do not wither,
Flowers do not bloom
Ever.
Simple
They disappear
Being destroyed
In their self-esteem.

August 05
M) The month of August
In the summer of 2005
In June I turned 18
My best friend moved back in state
In April I got a girlfriend since our first date
I met her last August
Later that year went to dust
H) I received a call on a hot summer day
The mood went a different way
She sounded like she cried
Like someone or something died
M) We started to change
Said I had become strange
We started to change
Hands against the wall
H) You wanted to escape
Cried, a victim of rape
I offered my help
M) What happened to the past?
A time that didn’t last
We changed too fast
H) You wanted to die
Then started to cry
I said I would help
You fought against the pain
Didn’t let your life dwain
You didn’t go insane
You won against the pain
M) Close to one year
Faced another fear
I broke your heart
I tore us apart
You chose a different fate
Tried to save us too late
I know there is nothing to save
I will bare this to my grave
H) M) I failed and succeeded
Helped you through his crime
We died in our prime
We are separate now
We were not meant to last
And you excepted your past

Intellectual Deficiency Syndrome
Keep digging into the anthropological ores of mankind
There is glut of infinite storm of knowledge
From the very first man to this panoramic sci-fi world
Knowledge for sure turned into unbridle horse
If you keep winking it slightly you will hold knowledge
That very knowledge will glisten like rubies
The best of which is via you get eternal charm
Cause of changeling of its inclination in seeking
The knowledge has died its own death
Here is knowledge of today lacking practical wisdom
It is no way a way to attain knowledge
Whose consequence lies in the debris of anonymity?
The work of legends has been turned to ashes
Via swift communication and naming name policy
The knowledge of today seemed to be a handful of dust
Having no beginning middle or end
Dyed in the wool criticism but not to rectify
There is no way to go as they are equally becoming unbecoming
There is mass production of illogical follies
That's we should call intellectual deficiency syndrome

Didn't I
I didn't realise that you were someone else
Until it was too late
So fooled by your disguise, carried away
I thought you were my friend
But things change and you along with them
Gone are the days when we laughed through the night
And it will never be the same
I said it wouldn't last forever didn't I, didn't I
Don't want to say I told you so but didn't I
I gave you all my heart and soul and didn't I cry
Bus somewhere deep in your heart, deep down inside
I got to you
Oh baby didn't I
We made no promises, we lived for every moment
Together come what may
What need was there to lie, for heaven's sake
I love you anyway
But things change and time heals the wounded
Where there was pain there's a scar on my heart
Now I can't look at you the same
I said it wouldn't last forever didn't I, didn't I
Don't want to say I told you so but didn't I
I gave you all my heart and soul and didn't I cry
Bus somewhere deep in your heart, deep down inside
I got to you
Oh baby didn't I
