to energetic spree
I stand and shiver, wondering how
To warm that cold cold me
If only I could make a start
It would not be bad it seems.
But somehow I just linger on
And do it, in my dreams.
My ideas are brilliant
They are plain to see

Wild Strawberries
If I had a dollar, if I had a cent
I would play most anywhere if it would pay my rent
Id be livin on the downside in my old apartment
For the rest of my days
People always ask why the world is on the run
People like you and like me
Is it really true you can really never win
Movin to the upside, tell me when does the fun begin
Deep as the see and as wild as the weather
We will go just you and me to pick wild strawberries together

Can't Change the Weather
Crisp and white and cold
It was a beautiful snowy day
Life seemed devoid of turmoil
As I watched the ducks at play
Trees covered in their lacy winter white
The sky was gray with threatening snow
And yet a bit of white peaked through
It was the best kind’a day I know
And as I drove across a bridge
Slush was forming and the snow rearranged
It seemed as though there was a pause
I knew something was about to change
I love the changing of the weather
A cold and blowing storm
And then as quick as fingers snap
It would be sunny and sweet and warm

Lost Love
On TV, the weather women I secretly love,
said it was 22 degree Celsius outside and
a beautiful evening. She smiled and winked,
knew I was admiring her.
She left and gave room to world news read
by a man in suit and tie; he read about
disheartening news and an Arab spring that
is turning into a military dictatorship
The weather woman walked home, turned
on the TV and tried to see me, but I was on
the terrace watching the stars and I had, in
my distraction, forgotten her.

Change Of Weather
September came along
and brought with it
a change of weather.
The humid days
were suddenly cold and windy.
A few, very nice, cool, fall days,
managed to slip in,
even though it wasn’t quite fall yet.
So, as I do every September,
I emptied out my closet of
t-shirts, and short sleeved shirts.
With all that room in there
I decided to fill it with my winter shirts,
even though I didn’t need them, just yet.
And don’t you know,
I got caught again?
No sooner did I get the summer shirts away
and the winter ones out -
what happens?
There’s a change of weather.
The warmer days kicked in again.
I sure can use those t-shirts now.
But, I’ve got them packed away,
and away they’ll stay.
This is the time of year
when the weather doesn’t know
if it wants to be warm, cool or cold.
Well, I can always roll up the sleeves
on the long sleeved shirts, should I need to.
With changes of weather
as it is these days,
I’d rather play it safe.
Prayer.
Most people do one thing when they pray
Beg God to give something or heal the sick, to say
Knowing not that the individual have to learn from that,
Anyway begging to change do not change what they get.
If the weather is hot they want the cold,
If it is cold, they want the warm,
Somehow they always want to rule the world,
Never want what's happening, what should unfold.
Because they do not know that even the weather is
Up to the human mind
Where many people have negative mental attitude
Those are the places for the tragic to unwind.
Prayer should be praising the Lord for all the good,
With thanksgiving every second with gratefulness,
Which would open the stores of Heaven,
That's the only way to peace and happiness.
