Give Me Honesty
She, she's been crying to me.
She, she's been trying.
She, she's been signing to me,
With words in her eyes, that says she means it!
We've often talked about the possibility
Of loving no more and setting each other free.
I can love you, just give me, honesty.
Don't take your love away from me.
We can try, we have necessities.
Chances are in our favor,
Open your heart, there it will occur.
Remember when the day was white
We shared the time, we shared the light.
Remember when the moon shone bright
We shared the time, we shared the night.
Give yourself to me and you will see,
One way to live just give me honesty.

Less Than Strangers
You and me
Had some history
Had a semblance of honesty
All that has changed now
We shared words
Only lover speak
How can it be
We are less than strangers
Oh it hurts to lose in love
Let anger and cruelty win
Its unfair that you doubt your feelings
And that youll ever love again
I know that hearts can change
Like the seasons and the wind
But when I said forever
I thought that wed always be friends
You and me had some history
Had a semblance of honesty
All that has changed now
We shared words
Only lovers speak
How can it be
We are less than strangers
I thought I saw you yesterday
I thought I passed you on the street
I swear I saw your face
I was not imagining
That you stole a glance my way
You walked away from me
My heart it may be broken
But my eyes are dry to see
You and me had some history
Had a semblance of honesty
All that has changed now
We shared words
Only lovers speak
How can it be
We are less than strangers

The Same Mother
They each shared
the same mother
shared the same loss of her
when the time came
gave the same
last wave
when she was
driven off
to crematorium
and then grave
but each had
their own mother
whom they shared
with no other
one with whom
they shared
a particular time
or place
sitting quietly
face to face
sharing a secret
or confessing
a deed done
or just
the mother to child meeting
with just the two
at some given time
at some particular place
some given year
to share a problem
or tears or anxieties
or deeper fears
and knowing
she would listen
as only mother's can
or do
sharing the time and love
with each particular
person called you
whether daughter or son
she shared
her equal love and time
and yet each knew her
each thought
they knew her best
and carried away
their own best times
in her company
without the rest
their own moments shared
but deep down
they knew
she had her love for each
and each was equal
to the rest
for she never had
a favourite
nor considered
any one the best
so they all shared
the same mother
in the end
all grieved her going
each in their own way
hoping or believing
they would share her
once again
some better place
some future day.

Billie
I am Billie,
But the wings of your sweet love came and took me away;
And like the love songs in a cold winter night,
But i will always remember the days that we shared together.
Praise be your name and praise be my muse,
And of the joy of things that you introduced me into;
But i will always remember the love that we shared together.

Leaving Me
do you remember that day,
when you tried to say goodbye,
then you said you'll stay for me,
because I almost cried,
you gave me this smile,
not because your staying,
but because you'd be missed,
just the thought of you leaving,
it makes me want to cry,
thinking about the time we shared,
and the time passing by,
it'll hurt more when you do leave,
so why even bother?
we have shared laughs,
we've shared hours,
but I can't let it go,
I can't let you go,
I'll miss you too much,
and I'd hope you'd miss me,
just saying goodbye isn't enough,
we know eachother to well to let go,
so don't,
never let me go,
and never go from me.

Dying Soldiers Wish
(8/18/12)
We were soldiers young and brave
Now we lay here in our grave
Does anyone remember me when I lived
And that I had so much to give.
I wanted all the things that everyone else did
But my thoughts I had hid.
Knowing that I was going to war
To a far and distant shore.
I gave my life defending this land
I'm sure you understand that when duty calls
You are there to give freedom a helping hand.
Can you remember the color of my eyes or my hair
Do you remember the moments that we shared.
Do you remember the look and words unspoken
Of how our love would never be broken.
Do you remember my smile or my laughter
Or the goals that we was after.
I do not ask you to live in memories
But just once in a while to think of me.
Your thoughts will put my heart at ease
And I'll feel your gentle breeze
As you call out my name
Then I'll know I didn't die in vain.
Death does not take a back seat to war
Death is always at the door.

Remember When I Gave You That Rose?
Remember
Those times of yesteryear?
Remember
That night I held you near?
Remember
How we were so close?
Remember
That song we always chose?
Remember
The way we shared our mind?
Remember
How we were one of a kind?
Remember
Those words you spoke to me?
Remember
How clearly we would often see?
Remember
Your beauty and escentric pose?
remember
When I gave you that rose?

Burden Bearer
Shared Joy is double joy,
It keeps on multiplying.
Shared Sorrow is half a sorrow
In time will be decreasing.
Shared Hope is flaming hope
Ignites our inspiration
Shared prayer is sure answer
For God's our Burden Bearer.

Ill Remember
Ill remember everything you said to me.
Ill remember everything we did.
Ill remember best of all,
The love we shared, the tears that fell now.
Ill remember everything you said to me.
Ill remember every word you said to me.
Ill remember every laugh you made.
Ill remember best of all,
The love we shared, the tears that fell now.
Ill remember everything you said to me.
Thinking bout it now, just what might have been.
Thinking bout it now, things will never be the same,
But Ill remember everything you said to me.
Ill remember best of all,
The love we shared, the tears that fell now.
Ill remember everything you said to me.
Ill remember everything you said to me.

Do you remember...?
Do you remember when times were white
when times were happy not sad
I remember the time at night
and all the love we had
Do you remember the book I read
a book about love at first sight
I remember the time you lead
you lead me into the night
I remember the look we shared
and the hand to hold me tight
I remember the time you cared
as we drifted off into the night

Promise Kept Between Lovers (Oct 5th,2003)
I remember the day when
we found ourselves together
we delighted in our thoughts
we cherished the time together
we were alone in the moment
we were apart from everything going on around us
for but only those moments shared
we were ourselves
we were not some cold
heartless indestructible uncaring team
we felt love caring pain, emotion together
we knew each other in every way
we shared everything openly
At first we were different and were what they
thought we were
it was how we were that brought us together
but how we became that kept us together
The complications of everything happening
around us including our roles in it brought us apart
Like then, I choose to not bring
everything going on around us in
to taint our time spent together
I know not how you choose to remember things
but I choose to never forget
and to keep my promise
that we made to one another
I remember the day..

Words and music by rickie lee jones
Hold me love,
I cant sleep again,
Will I have to kiss your nose,
I wanna lay here next to him,
Love,
I remember walking in the rain,
Rain was falling on my hands,
I dont wanna live through that again,
No.
I know it takes love, love is a healing thing
When you give everything, youre loving the world
The world gives you love to hold onto, remembering, we seldom remember love.
Just give me many chances,
Ill see you through it all,
Just give me time to learn to crawl.
In september,
When the rain comes,
And the wind blows,
I will see you walking in the coat of,
If you let me,
I will keep you here inside the stars,
I will love the salt on my sheets, oh youll love me.
Just give me many chances,
Ill see you through it all,
Just give me time to learn to crawl,
Time to learn to crawl,
Time to learn to crawl,
Time to learn to crawl.

Black Angel
One day in my life
I was walking along the road
then suddenly I saw this bright garmented angel
looking at me
with a smile on his face
so serene his posture was
I utterly lost my words
to speak anything
at the sight
so grandeur and in awe
I asked to myself
what in the world do I have to do
with this....
then the angel quietly held my hand
and led me to his world
a bit dark though clean however
I was abiding with him
for some time
until the time came
and I took off for
some far off lands
never to return to him again
but I do still remember
the joy he shared with me
the caring he gave to me
though it was quite a long ago
I still remember the smile on his face
and a little hello
a wink that it was.....
such a blissful moment
I recall still as the most
awesome moment that had ever happened
in my life
How can I forget that moment
and all the joy we shared together
with the angel right beside me
though some others might have been
a bit jealous of us
and tried to take us apart from each other
we stayed together in that heavenly bliss
But some really took us apart
by no means we wanted that to happen
but it did happen
so I no longer have that joy
nor bliss that I shared with this angel
that dark angel
in black clothes
with black smile on his face
with some mysterious look on his face
which I still can't comprehend
Ah! Where is he now?
Would he be thinking about me?
Would he have forgotten about me and
all the joy we shared together
in that some far away places
Only God can answer this questions..
for He is the one that made it happen
But today I recall the long-gone days again
and reminiscent it again
thinking about that beautiful creature
the black angel he was...

Honesty!
Tell me something about us
Do you remember the colores of my eyes!
Do you remember the love that we have shared
Before the destiny separate us
The first time I felt the paradise in your arms
Tell me?
Why you have gone!
You that oneday promised me to stay endlessly
To love me till your last breath
And as much as I know you are still alive
Tell me you that i've gave you my eyes
Tell me, let me learn how the love ends at once!
Tell me you that oneday were everything that I have ever own!
How the great love ends
How the passion of love at once suicides
Have you ever felt how it hurts
How it hurts to love and trust a lie
How it hurts to believe someone and give him the light of your eyes
How it hurts to adore someone that without goodbye deserts your love!

Roses for us
A red Rose stands for the love we shared
A blue Rose for the burses you gave me
A Yellow Rose for all the days we shared out in the sun
A pink Rose for all love we shared
And A black Rose for all the time we will never share..

At Deaths Door
When they have a short time to live
And you’ve given all you can give.
When there s nothing more you can do.
Then you make the last days of their lives
Seem like it’s been paradise.
Show all the love that you’ve had locked up inside
This is something that you should not hide.
Bring up happy memories of times
gone by, and of moments shared.
These are things in their mind that last.
Make their lives as comfortable as can be
For this is the last thing that they will see.
For some it is not easy to pass to the other side
Because fear makes them blind.
But it is a place of love and light
They will not see the darkness of night.
Don’t show your love when they are dead
Show your love while they’re lying in that bed.
They need to be loved while they’re here on earth
This is what we crave from our birth.
If the brain still functions on its own
Then so does the heart.
And from you they do not wish to part.
They are thinking the same as you
When they’re gone, what are you going to do.
Any bills that may be left behind
On your shoulders they will climb.
these same thoughts may race through
Your head, and it’s something that you both do dread.
But these are the first thoughts that
Should be put into that grave
Give them happy memories that they can save.
Let them go to the other side comfortably
And on their face- that smile you’ll see.
We’ll all be going to that other side
And will need someone to welcome us there
And the love that you showed on earth
Will now be shared.

Lillian
Unknown - unreleased song circa 1969
They criticise me for loving you, for seeing you
Giving no reason, they dont know you lillian
Be a mystic figure, shed your feelings from within
Let it go unnoticed where youve been lillian
So take from me what I have to give
For I have taken from you
The crystal world in which you live
Shall fall and tumble too
Let me see, set you free
From the life you live
You have shared, lillian
I know not why you want me
But I know why I want you
I dont need a reason
Its just you, lillian
So take from me what I have to give
For I have taken from you
The crystal world in which you live
Shall fall and tumble too
And let you see, set you free
From the life you live
You have shared, lillian
Lillian, lillian

Remember You
I dream about the days we shared
The calls we made
The love we had
I remember you
I think about the way you laugh
You're smile so bright
You're eyes crinkle in the corner
I remember you
I cry when I hear you're voice
So comforting and filled with love
Only to be reminded of the heartache
I remember you
I sit alone
On our favorite beach
Watching the sun rise
You're nowhere to be found
I remember you
You are gone
I don't know where
I wish you are happy
I hope you remember me
Like I
Remember you

Remember Me With Love
If one day you should go away
I know you say youll always stay
Oh, but life takes funny turns at times
And has a way of changing minds
Though I could never be your friend
To me the end would be the end
But weve shared so much happiness, just remember
I know you tell me every day
Youll love me till the end of time
I tell it to you just in case
Someday you are no longer mine
Theres just one thing Ill ask of you
Since both of us have much to lose
For all the things weve made it through
Just remember, please remember
(chorus)
Remember me with love baby, remember me with love
No matter where or when, if you think of me again
Remember me with love
Remember me with love baby, remember me with love
I know you care for me, but if one day you set me free
Remember me with love
(verse 2)
Seems like everywhere I turn
Somebody else is breaking up
I know as far as Im concerned
With you Ill always be in love
But if one day you feel differently
All you have to do is come to me
I will let you go so easily, but remember, please remember
Repeat chorus

I Remember
Should have known better
I should have known better
How I long for those warm summer nights
Of playing the fool and getting uptight
Crush my precious wish to the ground
You have a sunshine taste of forgive and forget
I remember having all the love to give
I remember a precious kiss upon my loving lips
Youve touched my heart, my soul and everything
I remember having all the love to give
I remember a precious kiss upon my loving lips
Please help me
Looking back at what we had
Say I still want you so much
Loving you for just one reason
Loving you for just one season
Means youre required for desire
I remember having all the love to give
I remember a precious kiss upon my loving lips
Youve touched my heart, my soul and everything
I remember having all the love to give
I remember a precious kiss upon my loving lips
Please help me
Loving you, loving you, loving you
Please, please help me
And I try, and I try, and I try to act naturally
