I Am Sick....

I am sick …. The pain I feel.
I am sick…. This must be surreal.
I am sick…. I will not die.
I am sick…. But I must live on with this lie.
I am sick…. It’s not like cancer it’s not that bad.
I am sick… but the say depression goes with this pain I have.
I am sick…. It will never disappear.
I am sick…. My days will go on with the same o’l tear.
I am sick…. That I have thought of taking my pain away.
I am sick…. For that I cannot for the pain must stay.
I am sick… and no one can fix me.
I am sick…. That no one can see.

Bummer

I'm sitting here
Feeling icky
This medicine I've got
It's very sticky
I'm swimming in a sea
Of tissues
And gulping down hot tea
I'm sick
Oh man, I'm sick
And it's no good being sick
Because I feel awful

I've got a pain in my side
It's a killer cramp-oh!
God, it hurts!
I've gotta take some Tylenol or something
'Cause this really hurts

I'm sneezing, coughing, wheezing

Ugh...my nose...is so stuffy
My throat is sore
When I swallow, it stings like crazy
My body aches
I've got shivers and shakes

Hit my snooze alarm for the 27th time
Just dont feel like goin to work - I think Ill call my boss, then im

Everyone I Hold Dear

Today I ran away
to the library
with a headache
read The Cosmos Divine

Wilcock says
suffering results when
we feel we have been
abandoned by God

Friendship leads to
depression and despair
when friends are not there -
then I understood

The cause of the
pain in my head
pills never help for
pain of the heart…

I stayed away
from the Service
held for Xolile
convinced I was ill –

he should have stayed
being good and kind -

I’m sick of being rejected;
I’m sick of being emotionally neglected;
I’m sick of crying so many tears;
I’m sick of running away from my fears;
I’m sick of my childhood nightmares;
I’m sick of being told to do those stupid dares;
I’m sick of not having friends;
I’m sick of all these dead ends;
I’m sick of myself for what I’ve become;
I’m sick of feeling oh so numb;
I’m sick of watching myself drown;

I’m so sick of it
Making me feel like I’m sick

So sick of this
So sick of it all

When I finally got sick of it all
I just let it all out, I changed more and more
Explaining it and speaking my mind
Writing it all down on sheets of paper
Explaining why I’m so sick.

I’m so sick of it all
This world, Reality, all this bigotry
Can’t get enough of this
I can’t take it anymore I have to stand up
And fight against this sickness

Battling which is that repeating cycle
Battling Homophobia

I’ve done it so many times
It makes me wonder why I’m so sick

Going threw the same f*cking thing.
Wanting more and more

Realizing it couldn’t ever be real it sadden me
I thought it over and over and then
That’s when I got sick of it.

Got me thinking me of it then reminding myself of reality.
It happened over and over that’s when I got sick.

Regretting all of the stupid thing I ignored
Remembering I gone threw the same thing before
Anticipating myself 0.99 seconds before the actual thought

Tonight’s the night,
I said in my head,
I don’t care anymore,
I wish I was dead.

I'm sick

I’m sick of always waiting for the breaks I never get,
I’m sick of being left behind and sleeping in my sweat,
I’m sick of making money when the ends are never met,
I’m sick of being sick of life I’m trapped inside a net,
I’m sick of having to be strong when I’m a nervous wreck,
I’m sick of working dead-end jobs that lack any respect,
I’m sick of waiting in a line where I am never next,
I’m sick of knowing that I’ll never truly be the best,
I’m sick of acting normal when I know that I’m a mess,
I’m sick of other people saying that I’m really blessed,
I’m sick of having all this pain I feel inside my chest,
I’m sick of being stressed, I’m feeling so depressed,

I’m reaching for a goal that very few are to obtain,
And no more strength is left in me because of all the pain,
I know that I have said that there is God inside the rain,
But where is God in moments when my bodies feeling drained,
And where is God in moments when a prayer won’t explain,
The fact that I was born a baby lacking half a brain,
The fact my hands and feet are tied together by these chains,
I can’t break free I need some help but all I get is blame,
I’m blamed for the mistakes I’ve made and it is such a shame,

Kick to the Chest

My heart decided to call in sick today
It said it was a little broken, with a footprint shaped bruise on it
The liver inside me is ready to quit
If I keep drinking like this
My brain cant figure out what’s causing this pain
Loves the suspect
And these emotions are accused of being accomplices
So I went to the doctor
He said ill be okay and just to take these pills
Clear my head of that girl hopefully the pain will go away
A couple days went by
Everything was going okay
I saw her smile from a distance
Her eyes caught mine
It felt like a kick to the chest
Then my heart decided to call in sick again
