Fairy Wings On My Glasses

The golden sun of the morning
turned into a silver shine in the sky
forming fairy wings on my glasses
and fairy wings in my eyes

The dark blue of the dawn's
backdropp sky is lightened by silver
shining with a softer, kinder
lovelier hue

I love being alive as I run about
in this beautiful world, magnificent glory
no more fear in the morning
Song of Songs is coming alive

In my heart, making my spirit
soar!

The Dream Fairy

A little fairy comes at night,
Her eyes are blue, her hair is brown’
with silver spots upon her wings,
And from the moon she flutters down.

She has a little silver wand,
And when a good child goes to bed
She waves her wand from right to left
And makes a circle round her head,

And then it dreams of pleasant things,
Of fountains filled with fairy fish,
And trees that bear delicious fruit,
And bow their branches at a wish;

Of arbours filled with dainty scents
From lovely flowers that never fade,
Bright ‘flies that flitter in the sun,
And glow-worms shining in the shade;

And talking birds with gifted tongues
For singing songs and telling tales,
And pretty dwarfs to show the way
Through the fairy hills and fairy dales.

The Silver Fairy

The Silver Fairy, under flowers
Stands; holds apples, hidden powers.
Adam his rib, Eve the fruit.
Gone, rejected bible loot,
The Preachers, selling hours

The Silver Fairy, in her bower
Sits; mild and docile, hidden flowers.
Waiting till there’s no-one, mute.
Her wings of silver, still.

The Silver Fairy, apples sour
Lies; beating breast in sorrow,
Moving towards her freedom fluted,
Noted for her silvered beauty.
All asleep, reprised, astute.
Her wings of silver, still.

Fairies Day

Before the sun began to rise, a miracle appears
Flying through the moonlit sky making her premier
On a misty blue dragonfly she swirls through the air
Stars shining in her eyes moonbeams in her hair

The fairy queen is Stelli she rings the morning bell
Letting all her subjects know time to weave their spell
From leafs of green, flowers of pink, and vines with purple hue
They stretch, yawn and with a smile make their day’s debut

Their bathtub is a buttercup filled with morning dew
Breakfast is the nectar from a flower of brilliant blue
Fairy wings on the wind spread mischief everywhere
They dip and fly through the sky as music fills the air

Queen wears vibrant colors they sparkle, shine and dance
If you look in her eyes, you will fall into her trance
Her hair is ever changing streaks of black or blond
Lightly she touches down making ripples in the pond

Paradise: In A Symbol

Golden-winged, silver-winged,
Winged with flashing flame,
Such a flight of birds I saw,
Birds without a name:
Singing songs in their own tongue
(Song of songs) they came.

One to another calling,
Each answering each,
One to another calling
In their proper speech:
High above my head they wheeled,
Far out of reach.

On wings of flame they went and came
With a cadenced clang,
Their silver wings tinkled,
Their golden wings rang,
The wind it whistled through their wings
Where in Heaven they sang.

They flashed and they darted
Awhile before mine eyes,
Mounting, mounting, mounting still
In haste to scale the skies—
Birds without a nest on earth,
Birds of Paradise.

Where the moon riseth not,
Nor sun seeks the west,
There to sing their glory
Which they sing at rest,
There to sing their love-song
When they sing their best:

Not in any garden
That mortal foot hath trod,
Not in any flowering tree
That springs from earthly sod,
But in the garden where they dwell,
The Paradise of God.

Little Fairy

Little Fairy,
Shine so bright.
Little Fairy,
Show your light.

Little Fairy,
I’m amazed.
Little Fairy,
You seem to blaze.

Little Fairy,
I love your allure.
Little fairy,
You are so pure.

Little fairy,
In case you flee,
Little fairy,
First shine on me.

Morning’s Glory

Dawn breaks the stranglehold
of a sleepy dusky night.
The sun peers above the eastern horizon
as morning begins to break into full glory.
Flowers open their petals wide
to allow the warmth inside;
birds leave their roosts
to wander the sky.
The morning’s glory soars
on delicate golden wings
as the early birds begin to sing.
Morning’s glory looks down on all
awakening with sleepy eyes,
preparing them to go
through a brand new day
that starts with the morning’s glory
and the sun shining bright.

Banished Fairy

Banished Fairy
I have given
the loyal
Servants their
day off
Because I want
to think softly
about you baby
My mother is worried
About the state
of my mental health
And I can't help
Myself because
I have my sights
Firmly fixed on you
You yummy orphan of
The clouds
You alone son of Heaven
You rule my mind
Banished Fairy
I am all alone
by myself tonight
Raise your great wings
And fly to me fairy
Banished Fairy dear
I have time with
Which together we can
Rise again and send your
banishment into
Permanent banishment
That's how much I dare
The surmountable
Challenges facing you
Because I love you Fairy
Banished Fairy
I am waiting for you
To raise your wings and
come and sweep me off
My feet and carry me
Away on the wings of
Your beautiful dreams
To the moon of
Your wonderful dreamland
that lies so far away
In the far flung dream
horizons of your love
strewn holy Fairyland
of my dream fairy

The Fairy Clock

Silver clock! O silver clock! tell to me the time o' day!
Is there yet a little hour left for us to work and play?
Tell me when the sun will set--tiny globe of silver-grey.

It has been so glad a world since the coming of the morn,
Oft I wondered when I met any souls who seemed forlorn--
And I scarce gave heed to those who were old or travel worn.

Mayhap I have loved too well the merry fleeting things;
Run too lightly with the wind--chased too many shining wings;
Thought too seldom of the night, and the silence that it brings.

Well I fear me I have been but an idler in the sun--
All unfinished are the tasks long and long ago begun--
In the dark perchance they weep, who have left their work undone.

And I know each black-frocked friar preacheth sermons that, alas!
Fain would halt the dancing feet of those careless ones who pass
Down a sweet and primrose path, through the ribbons of the grass.

Silver-clock! O Silver-clock! It was only yesterday
Dandelions flecked the field, starry bright, and gold and gay;
You are but the ghost of one--little globe of silver-grey!

Tell me--tell me of the hour--for there is so much to do!
Is it early? Is it late? Fairy clock! 0 tell me true,
As I blow you down the wind, out upon a road of blue.

Faeriedell (A Children's Rhyme) .

Do you believe in Fairies’ thoughts, do you believe in spells?
You see their thoughts wisp through the air, down by Faeriedell,
Look carefully and you will see them, sitting in their trees
Laughing, smiling, telling tales, just doing as they please.

Make your choice and wisely choose, the one that takes your eye
But please beware, you must take care and never tell a lie.
They’re inquisitive, they’ll question you so be honest and be true
And if you do they’ll grant a wish, especially for you.

You’ll see her flying through the air or skim across the pond
Pretty clothes and golden wings flapping way beyond
The tallest tree in the dell resting on its leaves
You’ll see this much and much, much more, if you will just believe.

You see her with her little bag, flitting in the night
Her wings are now, all lit up, and shine the brightest white
You’ll see her sprinkle stardust, the twinkle just like stars
And moonbeams shoot across the dell like rays of silver bars.

Music plays and songs are sung as she does her fairy dance
Skipping over velvet chairs, her friends all clap their hands
They all sit on their favourite seats, joining in the fun
But they all know it must end soon with the coming of the sun.

When dawn breaks they dive into their pond, to greet a brand new day
Some sit on wide lily pads as others rest or play.
The young are chasing rainbows to catch a fairy dream
And the older ones make magic wands whilst sitting by the stream.

Leaping purest puffy clouds, like balls of cotton wool
They’re edged with silver lining to keep the fairies cool
As frolicking in moondust leaves a fairy feeling warm
And she needs to be in spritely shape to use her magic charm.

The Wishing Well is full of gold so someone has to stay
To guard against the evil imps for they’ll steal it all away
Fairies have no need for gold, there’s nothing here to buy
And they can’t go outside Faeriedell for they will surely die.

Fairies live a thousand years, so they’re very old and wise
But look so young and beautiful because they don’t tell lies
So if you see a fairy, no-one should you tell
For you’ve been granted your first wish, you’ve been to Faeriedell.

A Secret...

I have a secret,
Can you keep it?
I caught a fairy!

Her wings were dusted with glittered dreams,
Her eyes glimmered crystal blue,
Her face glistening like morning dew,
Hair like nothing I’d never seen

Flowing down past her knees,
Softly swaying in the gentle breeze,
A toasted gold colour, Dorothy’s shoes,
I was fixated, helplessly amused.

The shine of her golden skin,
As intense as the beaming sun,
So crisp and bronze like toasted wishes,
It could not seize to stun.

I stood in awe,
At such a gleeful sight,
Rising above me,
Filling the clouds with wondrous light

She twinkled away,
Dancing with the pastel stars,
Plunging past the dreamy moon,
Beaming the colours of mars,

Her wings fluttering,
Plucking up forgotten dreams,
The galaxy muttering,
“Nothing they’d ever seen”.

I turned and chuckled to myself,
I’d caught her she was mine,
No one else would ever know,
About the fairy I’d captured in my mind.

I'm Alive

I get wings to fly... Oh-oh
I'm alive... yeah.. yeah

When you call for me
When I hear you breath
I get wings to fly...
I feel that I'm alive

When you look at me
I can touch the sky
I know that
I'm alive

Ohh... Ooh.... alive

When you blessed the day
I just drift away
All my world is right
I'm glad that I'm alive

You set my heart on fire
Filled me with love
Made me a woman
I'm glad you're back

I couldn't get much higher
My spirit takes flight
(My spirit takes flight)
Because I'm alive
(Because I'm alive)

Ooh... never bound

(When you call on me)
When you call on me
(When I hear you breathe)
When I hear you breathe
(I get wings to fly...)
I feel that I'm alive

Oh yeah

These are silver wings
These are golden eyes
These are floating clouds

These are golden eyes
These are floating clouds
Angel for love
Heaven is smiling down, heavens girl in a wedding gown
I never gonna be so good
Just like a good brochure
Im gonna change my way
Angel for love
Of all the saints alive
Dont I feel like a saint alive
Shes not mine for eternity
Though Ill never fly so high
I smiling

Splashed of Creation

Upon waking up this morning
First sound to hear
Was the whirling wind
In the valley where I live
I am who I am...
Just being alive...
I feel this enormous amount of love
Love for life and creation
My soul, have wings
The sound of chirping birds
Looking up at the pink sky at dawn
Like a gigantic painting
Splashes of pinks, greys and blue
Almighty's paint brush
Creating beautiful images in my mind
I just Love being Alive!

Mystical Meadows

In a land of magic where dragon flies are kings
Fairy Meadows
where peace and tranquillity reign
How I wish I could be
The one chosen to receive my wings
Flowers of all colours
Harvested for their sweet nectars
Sprinkled fairy dust to enhance beauty
Glistening in the sun light
My bright petal shift still fresh
How I wish to stay here forever
All wings flapping gently
Hurrying to finish their chores before the gathering
This enchanting world of peace and harmony
Soon all will be summoned
Be wildered at all the different fairies I have ever seen
Then came the sound of the gentle trumpeting
All is to gather in the clearing
Sprinkled fairy dust and merry making
Offerings to the ancient trees
Which housed, many fairy families
A source of energy to this mystical world
All fairies bowing
To the royal family of this enchanted meadows
Speeches from the crowned prince and nobleman
Someone is to be granted a pair of wings
Excited whispers as to whom and for the one unknown
Early to rise next morning
Stretching arm my wings unfolding
Dew drops shimmering in the first rays of sunlight
Home is Fairy Meadows
A place of beauty and magic
Where peace and tranquillity reign

Eyes Of Silver

Tom johnston
Eyes of silver hungry and aware
Eyes of silver, your mystic love I share
cause Im hungry baby
For the love you give away
Kick out all that stupid pride
Thats standin in my way
Inside my loving eyes are open wide
Eyes of silver, on which I shall rely
Diamonds are forever, and gold can make you lie
But your eyes of silver shine on, shine on
Blades of steel have helped a man to conquer all
Rubies by the hundreds fill the taj mahal
Eyes of silver, you tell me what I need
To bring this cold and lonely man
Down to his bended knees
Inside my lovin arms are open wide
For you eyes of silver
On which I shall rely
Diamonds and gold make you lie, lie, lie
But your eyes of silver, they shine on, shine on
Eyes of silver, baby, shine on, shine on
Baby, shining, yeah yeah, yeah, baby shining

Dancing Rain Fairy In The CourtYard

The rain came down light that day
It seemed like each dropp was a small
Delicate foot dancing across the courtyard

I wish I could’ve joined in that
Dance of the rain drops and then
For a moment I thought I saw a fairy

She was beautiful with astonishing wings
Her hair was short but a beautiful auburn
With a simple dress of green and blue

I rub my eyes and blink to see her gone
And replaced with a good friend of mine
She runs to the doors slightly soaked

Bursting through the doors she dances and tells her
Tale of being a rain fairy dancing freely in her
Song of rain drops that is more beautiful than anything

I smile and tell her we must dance together in
The rain one day so that I too can experience
The joy of being a dancing rain fairy one day

Sadly I wasn’t able to join you my friend for I
Had left and even though today you will dance
Like the fairy you were last time I’ll be inside

Alone

The Dream Star

Whisper, O wings of the wind! Sing me your song, O sea!
Grey is the weary world, and grey is the heart of me!
Into my shadowy heart pierce like the star of old,
Pearl of the tender dawn, kissed by the trembling gold!

Sing me the hope made sure, sing me the heart made strong!
Give me the battle-fire, give me the bugle-song

Onward ever and on, O swift, green bird of the sun;
Ever a vaster goal for the goal that thy wings have won.

Keen with a tireless beat is the rush of thy wings that soar;
But keener, swifter than thee is the vision that flies before.

What though we die forgot and sad for the song unsung!
Fresh from her thousand deaths ever the world is young.

For, ever the dream-world floats, a light on a misty bar,
And ever the grey earth follows the wake of that pilot star;

Follows a spirit ship that bears o’er a spirit sea
Shadows of thoughts unborn, phantoms of destiny.

Silver the giant sails loom through the amber haze,
And ever the helmsman Hope steers for the halcyon days;

And ever the voices call, out of the golden light,
Into the dreamer’s heart, sad in the lonely night—

Call like the ring of steel and thrill as of bugles blown,
Splendours of days to be, flaming in skies unknown.

Deep in the eastern skies glimmers that phantom star;
Dim in the distance dies the surge of the world afar.

Ah, but like broken swords, scattered along the van,
Perish the outpost souls that fall in the march of Man!

Ah, but they die not so; out of their ashes then
Flowers of immortal Love spring in the hearts of men!

Wings of the swift green Earth, ever and ever young—
This is the whispered word the wind of the morning sung!

This is the rune I heard flung by the ocean old,
Pearl of the tender dawn, kissed by the trembling gold!
