Erroneous Perceptions of Reality In a Late Afternoon's Sun
There is just something very sexy
about the way she twists and plays
with that short section of fine hair
on the left side of her pretty head; wrapping
it around her index finger and painted nail
as she glances into her car's rearview mirror
while she waits for the light to turn green
Meanwhile I stare at her in wonderment and pray…
that we are stuck in traffic forever…
The fantasy ends as the car behind me
honks for Jesus…

Rearview Mirror Romance
Im movin Im feeling like Im rollin on my own (what could be better)
Then somewhere drivin my car the radio turn it on (what could be better)
I check around in traffic from my point of view (what could be better)
Then I saw her in the mirror
Maybe the same thing has happened to you
It was
(chorus)
Romance in a rearview mirror
Romance after just one look
Romance in a rearview mirror
I didnt know her but it didnt matter
Romance in a rearview mirror
Just by chance I still cant believe that its true love reflected sight
Its a rearview romance tonight
She pulled up close first glance I saw here eyes (what could be better)
I couldnt stop starin at her she didnt realize (what could be better)
Then looked up in the mirror smile on her faace
There she goes heaven knows
Maybe the same thing has happened to you
It was
Romance in a rearview mirror
Romance after just one look
Romance in a rearview mirror
I didnt know her but it didnt matter
Romance in a rearview mirror
Just by chance I still cant believe that its true love reflected sight
Its a rearview romance tonight
(solo)
There she goes heaven knows
I wanna meet her all alone
Romance in a rearview mirror
Romance after just one look
Romance in a rearview mirror
I didnt know her but it didnt matter
Romance in a rearview mirror
Just by chance I still cant believe that its true love reflected sight

For Whom The Toll Booth Tolls
The futility in going nowhere should lead
One to contrary conclusions of turning around
I have been going nowhere for some time
Chosen roads like interstates bloated with traffic
All empty crowed places of promise and pleasantry
With lying signs controlling every turn along the way
Truth purveyors and predators of justice hiding
Behind concealments of concrete and greenery
Fulfilling the many quotas of our short but fast life
Ticketing us with radar speed checks and leaving
The morality of conviction to the Department Of Human Resources
Going nowhere....once appealed to me in my youth
The slow side of forty..... and in the distance a speedy seventy
Years that lingered like retirement condos and golf carts
Along the way
I drove hot cars and fast women......
I took them as far as they would go....
The unfortunate truths of my youth
stare at me in my eye's rearview mirror
There is futility in going nowhere
because I never wanted to grow old.......

The monk with long pretty hair
I love this life,
Sworn to serve the poor,
My body honed to perfection,
With the life style,
The material skill,
The difficult chores,
And the blessing our the lord Buddha,
I will always honor him,
For he gave me the greatest gift of all,
My long pretty hair.
The others start to object,
Claiming my head needs shaving,
There just jealous,
I wear the orange robe,
What more do they want?
I’m always on time,
The best in my class,
I bet that’s why they hate me,
Because who could hate,
My long pretty hair.
Everyday I realise,
My hair is all I care for,
I made my excuses,
I need to be clean,
Because cleanliness is holiness,
Suddenly there’s not enough hours in the day,
I cut the training,
And fall behind on my chores,
To stare at perfection in the mirror,
My long pretty hair.
The Masters are angry at me preaching,
That my hair sets me apart,
As indeed it does,
I see the jealousy in every eye,
They hate me because I'm perfect,
Why should I shave my head?
Am I not the universe’s chosen?
Above all the others,
So what if I’m the better with,
My long pretty hair.
I’m banished from my home,
But that’s ok,
They left me a mirror,
Which I stare into all day,
I found my true love,
Better than my old life,
Helping and healing and fighting,
I rebel against my order,
Despite all I lose I still have,
My long pretty hair.
On the execution block I stand,
In all my glory,
They took my mirror away,
And dared to touch my hair,
Who can blame me for hurting them?
They deserved it,
And now I stand,
Proud and tall,
With my hair flowing free,
Caressed by the breeze
My long pretty hair.
And I now hang by the gate,
By my long pretty hair,
Final glory for everyone to see.
My long pretty hair.

Mirror Mirror
Mirror mirror
You tell lies
Who put crows feet
Round my eyes?
Mirror mirror
Hanging there
Who put that grey
In my hair?
Mirror mirror
Is that me
Is that really
Me I see?
Mirror Mirror
Stop your fun
That's not me
That is my mum
Mirror mirror
Don't stare back
For it's bad luck
If you should crack
Mirror mirror
On days like these
When what I see
Doesn't please
Mirror mirror
My mood this day
Will ask you turn
The other way!

Eyes Of A Stranger
[ page ]: dr. david, telephone please. dr. david
Dr. blair, dr. blair, dr. j. hamilton, dr. j hamilton
All alone now
Except for the memories
Of what we had and what we knew
Everytime I try to leave it behind me
I see something that reminds me of you
Every night the dreams return to haunt me
Your rosary wrapped around your throat
I lie awake and sweat, afraid to fall asleep
I see your face looking back at me
And I raise my head and stare
Into the eyes of a stranger
Ive always known that the mirror never lies
People always turn away
From the eyes of a stranger
Afraid to know what
Lies behind the stare
Is this all thats left
Of my life before me
Straight jacket memories, sedative highs
No happy ending like theyve always promised
Theres got to be something left for me
And I raise my head and stare
Into the eyes of a stranger
Ive always known that the mirror never lies
People always turn away
From the eyes of a stranger
Afraid to know what
Lies behind the stare [lies behind my stare]
How many times must I live this tragedy
How many more lies will they tell me
All I want is the same as everyone
Why am I here, and for how long
And I raise my head and stare
Into the eyes of a stranger
Ive always known that the mirror never lies
People always turn away
From the eyes of a stranger
Afraid to know what
Lies behind the stare

Crosstown Traffic
You jump in front of my car when you,
You know all the time that
Ninty miles an hour, girl, is the speed I drive
You tell me it's alright, you don't mind a little pain
You say you just want me to take you for a ride
You're just like crosstown traffic
So hard to get through to you
Crosstown traffic
I don't need to run over you
Crosstown traffic
All you do is slow me down
And I'm tryin' to get on the other side of town
I'm not the only soul who's accused of hit and run
Tire tracks all across your back
I can see you had your fun
But darlin' can't you see my signals turn from green to red
And with you I can see a traffic jam straight up ahead
You're just like crosstown traffic
So hard to get through to you
Crosstown traffic
I don't need to run over you
Crosstown traffic
All you do is slow me down
And I got better things on the other side of town

Be Sexy Effortlessly
Being sexy is not revealing parts.
Being sexy is highlighting features.
Highlight hair, ears, neck, upper back,
Arms or legs but one or two at a time.
There's a fine line between being sexy
And being cheap, which a woman must note.
For a toned body, no need of windows.
For defying hair, no need of hair-do.
For evenness of the skin, no cosmetics;
For hygiene body, no need of perfume.
On a pair of high heels one is sexy
With breasts forward and buttocks upward.
To look sexy, woman must feel sexy.
In feeling sexy, she gains confidence
About her sexual prowess and command.
Be sexy effortlessly and feed man's eyes.

Mirror Mirror On The Wall
she turn to him for his thoughts,
even a simple whisper,
anything she said would do
to break up this silence
between us two,
but she heard nothing
than headed on home
feeling lonely on her own,
saying to her self i wanting his love,
needing his touch and all i got
was nothing much,
than she headed to the mirror starting to cry
saying mirror, mirror, on the wall
am i not pretty, and cute
at lease I think i am, i can also be funny
if given the chance, maybe that would bring me
some of his sweet romance, so please
me mirror, mirror on the wall won't you answer me
but all she heard was nothing not even from him,
and the others got something so she believe
as she mumbles quietly saying as she leaves
am i not pretty enough for him?
or am i just another face to him?
or do i take up to much space for him?
oh mirror, mirror on the wall please help me,
because he act's different around me
when i ring his door, is the other one going
out the back door? he said no, but i say yes
i think i'm pretty sure i said,
oh mirror mirror on the wall
i'm asking you once more
what do you think?
and once again please tell me
if i'm pretty enough for him,
and if you can't say yes or any thing
than can you at lease give me the courage
of what i'm about to do,
and can you keep my finger steady
and talk me through when i say i'm ready,
and please for give me for the mess
i'm about to make
in my last step i'm gonna take,

Paint It
I see a red door and I want it painted black
No colors anymore, I want them to turn black
I see the girls walk by dressed in their summer clothes
I have to turn my head until my darkness goes
I see a line of cars and they are painted black
With flowers and my love both never to come back
I see people turn their heads and quickly look away
Like a new born baby it just happens every day
I look inside myself and see my heart is black
I see my red door and its heading into black
Maybe then Ill fade away and not have to face the facts
Its not easy facing up when your whole world is black
I wanna see it painted painted, painted black, oh baby
I wanna see it painted painted, painted black, oh baby
No more will my green sea go turn a deeper blue
I could not foresee this thing happening to you
If I look hard enough into the setting sun
My love will laugh with me before the morning comes
I wanna see it painted, painted black, oh
Black as night, black as coal
I wanna see the sun blotted from the sky
Painted, painted, painted black oh baby
Painted painted, painted black

Traffic Jam
Carbon monoxide
Making me choke
No a.c.
And the radios broke
Cars backed up
Far as you can see
Seems like Ive been waiting here for all eternity
Oh, and just in case youre wondering
Ill tell you where I am
Im right here (right here) right here (right here)
Stuck right here in the middle of this...
Traffic jam
I havent moved one inch from this here spot
Traffic jam
The freeways one big parking lot
Traffic jam
My radiators boiling hot
And Im stuck right here in the middle (right here in the middle)
Right here in the middle of a traffic jam
Trapped inside
My automobile
Cobwebs gowin
On the steerin wheel
Now, Im no genius
But one thing I know
I shouldnt have had that bag of bran muffins
An hour and a half ago
Yeah, and if you need to find me
Ill tell you where I am
Im right here (right here) right here (right here)
Stuck smack dab in the middle of this...
Traffic jam
I havent moved one inch from this here spot
Traffic jam
The freeways one big parking lot
Traffic jam
Well, I thought we were movin but I guess were not
cause Im stuck right here in the middle (right here in the middle)
Right here in the middle of a traffic jam
Stuck in the middle of a traffic jam
Yeah yeah yeah yeah
Bumper to bumper to bumper to bumper to
Bumper to bumper to bumper to bumper to
Bumper to bumper to bumper to bumper...
Yay-hey!
Theres a yuppie on a cellular phone
Im gonna puke if I here any more
Theres a motorcycle zoomin by me
Watch what happens when I open my door
Now were all goin nowhere fast
Well, I guess thats perfectly clear
I left home five hours ago
And I can still see my house from here
So if anybodys tryin to find me
Well, Ill tell you where I am
Right here (right here) right here (right here)
Stuck right here in the middle of this...
Traffic jam
I havent moved one inch from this here spot
Traffic jam
The freeways one big parking lot
Traffic jam
Now my back teeth are floatin and my nerves are shot
And Im stuck right here in the middle (right here in the middle)
Stuck right here in the middle of a traffic jam
Traffic jam... traffic jam... traffic jam... woo!

Satisfaction
The mirror which talks, do so in one way, never the more, never the less, with one say -
The truth is projected, you are afraid but only your shadow stalks, only when you decides to walk - What is withdrawn to only stare, the cracks are allowed to be the age, beauty will forever be displayed by your face -
Sorry worries of your time measured to the age, you were told, you refuse to accept, we all have to become old -
You can stay the beautifully women which you are, look and believe when you stare to the sky -
Sometimes, sexy is sexy, when experience with love, forms the sensuality progressed to breed by perfection inside attraction -
Salute Satisfaction

I need jesus to guide me every day
As Im travellin along this rough and narrow way
Though afflictions fill my soul
Im determined to make the goal

With the face of Jesus, Mohammad, Jacob

Faded pictures
NLY two patient eyes to stare
Out of the canvas. All the rest-
The warm green gown, the small hands pressed
Light in the lap, the braided hair
That must have made the sweet low brow
So earnest, centuries ago,
When some one saw it change and glow-
All faded! Just the eyes burn now.
I dare say people pass and pass
Before the blistered little frame,
And dingy work without a name
Stuck in behind its square of glass.
But I, well, I left Raphael
Just to come drink these eyes of hers,
To think away the stains and blurs
And make all new again and well.
Only, for tears my head will bow,
Because there on my heart's last wall,
Scarce one tint left to tell it all,
A picture keeps its eyes, somehow.

The Mirror Struggled
The mirror struggled; reflecting beauty such as hers
Prescribed a glory in the challenge – a fairytale
Or such as like! To shimmer back hypnotic hues
From auras of her skin – how do mirrors cope?
Hoary tales of pretty adolescent buds
Could never hope to match the tomes of dreamy
Pulchritude apprising us of such a belle as she.
The mirror shone; and as it worked itself, a moment –
Did it overlook the hidden melancholy?
Were melting eyes bedewed–? Florid lips imbued
With mournfulness? The hindrance of the silver glass!
Oh! to seek – to know the meaning of the sorrow!
She (with tearful hair, an image out of heaven)
Never opened up her heart. The mirror struggled.

The Angel Wars
I wont pray here
Or bow my head
I wont praise your name
I wont kneel down.
I wont pray to you
On this side of sane (oh lord)
I wont pray to you
On this side of hell (father)
I wont pray to you
On this side of heaven again.
I dont need faith
Forgiveness of sin
I dont need saving
I dont need lies.
I dont believe
In the angel wars (oh lord)
I dont believe
In the virgin birth (father)
I dont believe
In the cross on the hill (jesus)
I dont believe
In the kindness of God to man.
Ill drive a stake
Through the black of your heart (oh lord)
Ill pull down your temples
And burn every word (father)
Ill kill all the angels
That show me the light (jesus)
Ill drift into darkness
And tear out the soul of god
