Dora the Deceiver

I screamed 4U,
The pain in my gut was the warning.
The visions of betrayal were vivid.
And the prophecy of dreams became fact.

You fell from my grace…
Lost soul of disgrace,
You hid behind the slamming of a door.
Dora, you become a metaphor…for a Mexican whore.

No more deception!

Im In Disgrace

The first time that I saw you
You were the lady of my dreams.
The very next time I had to make you mine,
And I treated you like a queen.
The third time that I saw you
You treated me with such distaste,
Now I wish Id never seen your face.
Im in disgrace,
Im in disgrace.
Because I fell for your pretty face,
Im in disgrace. hes in disgrace.
Im in disgrace. hes in disgrace.
You captured me in your embrace.
Theres no use blaming me
And saying I was your ruination
Because it was you equally
That got us into this situation.
It wasnt lust, it wasnt rape,
It was just a mistake
Im in disgrace. hes in disgrace.
Im in disgrace. hes in disgrace.
Because I fell for your pretty face.
Im in disgrace. shes in disgrace.
Im in disgrace. hes in disgrace.
You captured me in your embrace.
Was your love real or faked?
Or was it only infatuation?
Picture you in my place.
I wish Id acted with a little less haste.
Im in disgrace.
Im in disgrace.
Because I fell for your pretty face.
Oh what a waste. hes in disgrace.
Im in disgrace. hes in disgrace.
Now my names dirt and Im disgraced.
Im in disgrace.

Dreams, Dreams

dreams, dreams
some vivid
some clean
some filthy
some pristine
most changed
never the same
unwittingly, unknown
its all just a game
a window
a door
a defense
or metaphor
chains
or a cell
heaven
or hell
inbetween
or way too far
just out of reach
they know when to teach
dreams, dreams

Haunting

Sleep is an enemy these days
I sleep, I wake, I sleep, I wake
I look outside the window at the night

Sometimes I have such dreams
as vivid as the day, at other times
the dreams, they stay away.

It was a night of vivid dreams
I heard a noise downstairs, someone shuffling, rustling
I called, "Is someone there? "

Footsteps coming closer, passing by my door.
I heard the bathroom being used
and I called out some more.

The bedroom door creaked open,
she moved across the room, her face was so familiar
but I screamed and off she flew.

The face I saw was tired miserable and worn.
She seemed to be quite harmless
but still I was concerned

and later on that morning
as the sun rose in the sky, I realised who she was
and I breathed a heavy sigh.

The lady in my bedroom
was someone I knew well. It was me you see dear reader,
it seems I haunt myself

I Lost My Crown

The day I lost my mind
Was the day you left for good
All the love that was left behind
Wouldn’t bring you back if it could
I lost my reign
I lost my crown
All I have left is a kingdom of pain
Where I lost more than I found
I can’t seem to understand
Why you loved me less
It wasn’t part of the plan
To make my heart a royal mess
I lost my reign
I lost my crown
All my dreams are shattered
All my treasures don’t shine anymore
I can’t believe I never mattered
All I can hear is the slamming of the door
I lost my reign
I lost my crown
Don’t need any riches where I’m bound
Tears will fill my throne till I drown

Mexican Blood

She was a mexican girl, she had mexican blood
I seen it the night that she died
She was a mexican girl, she had mexican blood
Oh how she could drive that mexican boy wild
Hes on the run near el paso
And hell cross all across america
Hes leaving behind old mexico
And his girl that pretty mexican girl that died
She had mexican blood
He was a mexican boy with a mexican smile
And he drank a little tequila
He was a mexican boy in a mexican town
And oh how he loved his young senorita
Now and then hed cross the rio grande
And hed come back a wanted hunted man
And his mexican girl was his mexican prize
And that girl was his girl that pretty mexican girl that died
She had mexican blood
He was a cowboys boy and a cowboys son
And on his side he had a gun
He was a cowboys boy, he was the law
He was out looking for someone
That night he rode into town
The mexican boy tried to gun him down
Thats when his heart broke up inside cause lying on the ground
Was his girl that pretty mexican girl, she died
She had mexican blood
He loved her and she loved him
And when he lost her
Oh how it hurt him
He loved her
I seen it the night she died
Thats when he lost her
Now his heart is broken
He loved her and she loved him
And when he lost her he lost everything

Heavens Whore

Touch the sky
Kiss the sun
All the strings of Heaven
Were left undone
The first temptation of Eve
Turning men from Christ
Tore open her soul
Letting rebels into paradise

God screamed
God raged
For it was he
That Eve betrayed
Hell swung open its doors
Welcoming Eve
Heavens Whore

Adam bowed his head
In shame
Clinging to Eden
All in vain
He ate the fruit
That took his soul
Laid his head in the lap
Of Heavens Whore

Carnal Knowledge
Turned Eve’s soul cold
Lust was born
Of Heaven’s Whore

Satan smiled
His treasure to behold
He turned Eve
Into the harvester of souls
A woman on a pale horse
The prophets knew
Eve is
Heaven’s Whore

Carnal knowledge
Creation of God
The serpents tongue
Caressed Eve’s thought
Held evil in her hand
All the pleasures
Of the Promised Land
God denied, Satan coerced
And Eve was branded
Heaven’s Whore

Some say Eve fell
From the heights of Heaven
To the depths of Hell
In a dark embrace
Treason at her breast
Poison in her veins
Took man into her arms corrupted to the core
As Satan kissed the lips
Of Heaven’s Whore

Visions

I finally figured out why I'm always on guard when you're around
I'm feeling so uncertain bout do you really want me or what I got?
I really hope it's not
But I wonder why if I ain't taking you out somewhere nice
You ain't even tryna come on by and just say hi.
We can stay in the house for a quiet night tonight
I'm tryna tryna tyna tryna...Tryna let you know baby
But I can't make it that easy
A girl gotta have a little game too
You should know that it's all about you
I'm having visions of this girl like a warning
I'm waking up like six in the morning
Feeling like it really ain't healthy
Do she wanna be with me? I need to know
Visions of this girl like a warning
I'm waking up like six in the morning
Feeling like it really ain't healthy
Do she wanna be with me?
Think I'm sweating now, just trynafigure if you're the one
Wish you'd give me a clue about what you're about
Let's have it out, I'm going down
Hope you think of me, and if you really don't then let it be
Cuz I can't be nobody's charity
It's real love for me, entirely and completely
I need to know...
Having visions of this girl and
Ooohhh
Could this be my warning?
Ooohhh
Having visions of this girl and
I don't know
If maybe this is my warning, warning, warning, warning.

How She Went To Ireland

Dora’s gone to Ireland
Through the sleet and snow;
Promptly she has gone there
In a ship, although
Why she’s gone to Ireland
Dora does not know.

That was where, yea, Ireland,
Dora wished to be:
When she felt, in lone times,
Shoots of misery,
Often there, in Ireland,
Dora wished to be.

Hence she’s gone to Ireland,
Since she meant to go,
Through the drift and darkness
Onward labouring, though
That she’s gone to Ireland
Dora does not know.

Get Out Of My House

(hee-haw! hee-haw! hee-haw!)
When you left, the door was
(slamming!)
You paused in the doorway
(slamming!)
As though a thought stole you away.
(slamming!)
I watched the world pull you away.
(lock it!)
So I run into the hall,
(lock it!)
Into the corridor.
(lock it!)
Theres a door in the house
(slamming).
I hear the lift descending.
(slamming!)
I hear it hit the landing,
(slamming!)
See the hackles on the cat
(standing).
With my key i
(lock it).
With my key i
(lock it up).
With my key i
(lock it).
With my key i
(lock it up).
I am the concierge chez-moi, honey.
Wont letcha in for love, nor money.
(let me in!)
My home, my joy.
Im barred and bolted and i
(wont let you in).
(get out of my house!)
No strangers feet
Will enter me.
(get out of my house!)
I wash the panes,
(get out of my house!)
I clean the stains away.
(get out of my house!)
This house is as old as I am.
(slamming.)
This house knows all I have done.
(slamming.)
They come with their weather hanging round them,
(slamming.)
But cant knock my door down!
(slamming.)
With my key i
(lock it).
With my key i
(lock it).
This house is full of m-m-my mess.
(slamming.)
This house is full of m-m-mistakes.
(slamming.)
This house is full of m-m-madness.
(slamming.)
This house is full of, full of, full of fight!
(slam it.)
With my keeper i
(clean up).
With my keeper i
(clean it all up).
With my keeper i
(clean up).
With my keeper i
(clean it all up).
I am the concierge chez-moi, honey.
Wont letcha in for love, nor money.
(its cold out here!)
My home, my joy.
Im barred and bolted and i
(get out of my house!)
(wont let you in).
(get out of my house!)
No strangers feet
(get out of my house!)
Will enter me.
(get out of my house!)
I wash the panes.
(get out of my house!)
I clean the stains.
(get out of my house!)
(get out of my house!)
(get out of my house!)
(get out of my house!)
Wont enter me.
(get out of my house!)
(get out of my house!)
(get out of my house!)
(get out of my house!)
Yeah! wont let you in!
(get out of my house!)
(get out of my house!)
Let me in!
Woman let me in!
Let me bring in the memories!
Woman let me in!
Let me bring in the devil dreams!
I will not let you in!
Dont you bring back the reveries.
I turn into a bird,
Carry further than the word is heard.
Woman let me in!
I turn into the wind.
I blow you a cold kiss,
Stronger than the songs hit.
I will not let you in.
I face towards the wind.
I change into the mule.
I change into the mule.
Hee-haw! hee-haw! hee-haw-hee-haw-hee-haw-hee-haw...
Hee-haw! hee-haw! hee-haw!

The Muddled Mind

He had dreams and continous visions,
He thought it was her,
The visions so vivid and strong,
The dreams so rampant and sequential,
Falling was inevitable for him,
Yet a hand, he found none
Was it her? Is it her?
The muddled mind

Love and friendship, facts and mystry,
He wrote her name on the beach,
Not until water waves reach,
His fine art the water could bleach,
He was falling into a ditch
The name went away with the water
He dreamt of her, yet the water took her
Is it her? Or otherwise?
The muddled mind

He found her with another man,
Yet she said dhe fell for him also,
His life, a bag of mixed emotions,
His love, a bag of uncertain certainities,
He loved yet was loved par neglected,
Is it her? Or otherwise
The muddled mind

Now Here So Vivid

Here so vivid,
Is the experience of life given.
So vivid too are those disparities.
To allow others,
The giving of an invitation...
To come and do,
Then to go as they please.

How vivid are the actions,
On others performed.
To take what they thieve...
And upon themselves adorn.
Enriching with an enhancement,
From the day they were born.

Here so vivid,
Are atrocities.
So atrocious in implementation...
An acceptance of it,
To gather lives to ruin...
As if in a playing of monopoly.

And the game inflicted does not go away.
It stays and commands to become obeyed.
With restrictions that exist,
Using religious beliefs...
As a means to control,
In the spreading of a wickedness...
To maim and defeat,
Those depicted as enemies.

Here so vivid,
Is the experience of life given.
So vivid too are those disparities.
To allow others,
The giving of an invitation...
To come and do,
Then to go as they please.

Using deception to promote misdeeds.
To witness those doing this...
Eventually,
Unravel from their own intricate...
Strategic complexities.

Now here so vivid,
Are those so unwise.
So vivid with a clarity...
Are those removed from their disguises.
To become recognized and themselves despised.

Sorry

Afraid it comes to this
I really must admit, your tits, your eyes, your lips
Are staring at me
I'm drooling at the chin
I need to be within, her skin, I want to sin
She stops me and she says
Slow down boy, I'm not easy
Don't wanna be a sleazy whore
So I showed her to the door
Overabundancy, and I'm not sorry
And girl, you look so good
I really think we should, your hood, with me, I would
So let's get started
I know I can't resist
I reach over for a kiss, I miss, she ducks, I wish
She gets up and she says...
Slow down boy, I'm not easy
Don't wanna be a sleazy whore
So I showed her to the door
Overabundancy, and I'm not sorry
Then there she was in front of me
And it was very plain to see
She had this gleeming in her eye
Told me that she's down for the crime
Took me and threw me on the floor
As she screamed and begged for more
She said
I'm not sorry
No, I'm not sorry

A Dagger Called Betrayal

Without warning you stabbed me,
with a dagger called betrayal.
You displayed no signs of emotion
then vanished into the rain and hail.

I was abandoned on an island of sorrow,
lost in a confusion of memories,
that swirled like dust in an hurricane,
which kept replaying your perfidy.

I died several times of heartbreak,
became withered like a cast off leaf.
The memories I couldn't escape from,
and time didn't bring relief.

Years later I saw a reflection in a puddle,
it was you as you once were,
but then a voice softly whispered my name,
as if it seemed to care.

Betrayal had done you no favours,
you were burdened by the passage of time.
Your body was bent and decrepit,
and life's map showed every line.

I was angry with myself for wasting my life,
for not moving on to pastures new.
My book of life was filled with hurt and pain,
based on the betrayal of which I knew.

Too Late

Have you heard about the hollow man?
Too frightened so he turned and ran, from the vision that he cherished so.
Couldnt see it, so he let it go.
Everybody has a secret sin.
But everybody needs a chance to win.
Anyone could see Im a man thats sad and broken by the things Ive done.
But now Im sorry that I said goodbye.
And Im sorry cause its me thats crying.
I never finished what I started to, but Im just so sorry that Im hurting you.
But its too late for us to just be friends.
And too late for anything but the end.
And too many dreams fell through our hands.
And its just too late to understand.
Now Ill never make a new beginning,
And Ill never stop the pain from winning.
Nothing matters to me anymore now.
Ive lost the things I was fighting for.
And now Im sorry that the dreams are gone,
And Im sorry cause Im not the
One who comes running when you need me so,
Cause Im the fool thats let you go.
But its too late for us to just be friends.
And too late for anything but the end.
And too many dreams fell through our hands.
And its just too late to understand.
All the tears of pain are falling down, (oh, oh, oh, oh).
All the tears of pain are falling down, and you know...
But its too late for us to just be friends.
And too late for anything but the end.
And too many dreams fell through our hands.
And its just too late to understand.
But its too late for us to just be friends.
And too late for anything but the end.

And its just too late to understand.
But its too late...too late...its too late...

Sadder Still

sadder still, sadder still, sadder still
you watch it die
betrayal of the heart
is the hardest part of letting go
now you see the truth of me
so what's the point? it's so cold
time will take your soul
time will take your dream
time will take your life away
away
fading lights
shattered dreams
of lost love
i remember the past
betrayal of the heart
is the hardest thing to let go
so now i don't dream
no, i don't feel
anything at all, anymore
time will take your soul

When The Walls Came Tumbling Down

On the first day of the first month in some distant year
The whole sky froze golden
Some said it was the aftermath of the radium bomb
While others told of a final retribution
A terrible revenge of the gods

But we understood the grand finale
Fulfillment of a prophecy told many years before
So all that was left was...

All the women were captured and chained
And national suicide was proclaimed
And New America fell to the ground
And all the children lay crippled and lame
But all the nations came together
In fear of the thought of the end
No more would we fight in the streets
No courage had we to defend

When the walls came tumbling down
When the walls came tumbling down
Everybody ran as they screamed at the sound
When the walls came tumbling down
When the walls came tumbling down
When the walls came tumbling down
Everybody ran as they screamed at the sound

A blinding light the sun had died
A new moon took its place
Tidal waves and open graves the fate of the unhuman race
The city's heart no longer beats no pity have I left to lend
A sinner sits reciting Dylan it's now that I welcome the end

When the walls came tumbling down
When the walls came tumbling down
When the walls came tumbling down
Everybody ran as they screamed at the sound
When the walls came tumbling down
When the walls came tumbling down
When the walls came tumbling down
Everybody ran as they screamed at the sound

When the walls came tumbling down
When the walls came tumbling down
When the walls came tumbling down
Everybody ran as they screamed at the sound
When the walls came tumbling down
When the walls came tumbling down
When the walls came tumbling down
Nobody made a sound
Down
