Don’t hurt them

Don’t hurt them
A song sings by a mosquito bound me to awake in the mid night.
I found that some thieves were stealing my articles from my house.
One of them have stolen my television and other one stolen another article
And one of them taken the book
In which my poem
“Bound to work” was written.
He reads my poem
And said to his fellows that
This house is belongs to a poet
Who thinks always for poor and toiling people of our society?
Such people are few in this world.
So we must not hurt such people like him.
So please put all articles back in his house properly.
We will see another house for our bread.
I appreciate their feelings for poets like me.

A House for Four

A house for four

What is it? a house for four
A dingy looking thing
Are there windows? none

What is it? a house for four
Such a palace
Are there greetings? none

What is it? a house for four
Why the space is so small
Is there privacy? none

What is it? a house for four
A dozen creeps could be creeping there
Is there any trust? none

Don't judge me for mine
Poor fool i wont
Even give you the time

Are you judging me?
Your quite the choir
With a cracking voice

And
A tall house that falls
To scrutiny

A house for four and
A house for four
A people of choir and
A people of poor

Do you not recognize
The stains are yours?

A house is not a house
Unless there is more

More and more
Sometimes less is more

The Houses

1898 -- A Song of the Dominions

'Twixt my house and thy house the pathway is broad,
In thy house or my house is half the world's hoard;
By my house and thy house hangs all the world's fate,
On thy house and my house lies half the world's hate.

For my house and thy house no help shall we find
Save thy house and my house -- kin cleaving to kind;
If my house be taken, thine tumbleth anon.
If thy house be forfeit, mine followeth soon.

'Twixt my house and thy house what talk can there be
Of headship or lordship, or service or fee?
Since my house to thy house no greater can send
Than thy house to my house -- friend comforting friend;
And thy house to my house no meaner can bring
Than my house to thy house -- King counselling King.

House of Flesh

Crooked,
decrepit windows
see the world in shades of grime.
This lonely house sreaks
and groans in the rain.

Tattered
mother-eaten drapes
cover the hurt of abandonment.

People pass by
and talk cheerfully
of their own inhabited homes,
graced by the presence of a loving owner.
They are filled,
overflowing,
with friendly masses.
They are filled with people
who look in pity and distain
at this crumbling house on the corner.

These bodies pass by
with not a thought to this sad house,
all alone
begging for someone to pass it's threshhold,
to care.

Poor abandoned house on the corner,
quietly falling to pieces as the seasons pass.
No one wants you.

House Of Jazz

Humdinger
Bell ringer
Got a nasty stinger
To slow you down
Mud slinger
Gold digger
Who point the finger
And do you down
Kickin' and a fightin' on a TV show
Lightin' blindin' in the middle of the road
Are you comin' in

Spitin' and bitin' on a TV show
Tightenin' frightenin' givin' out a load

Pen a good poem with Divine Bliss.

People of all religions would live with gaiety.

Footnote to a famous poem

You all know it from the classroom.
It’s in all the anthologies.
Many say it’s his best; ‘a young man’s poem’
full of life and love and promise;
and short too. His long poems,
they’re great but few have the patience now
and who cares about Poet Laureates
when they’re out of fashion?

It never appeared, did you know,
in his lifetime. Sat in his desk drawer,
a single poem in a fine Italian leather folder.
His wife left it there after he died;
remembering when he’d sent it to her
the night before their marriage; she caught him
once, sitting there, an old man reading
a young man’s poem; closed the door quietly,
said nothing.

They cleared the house after she died.
It would never have come to light
if years later his mistress hadn’t left
a copy – it transpired - to the museum
in her will; he’d written it just for her, she said;
but made her promise not to publish it.
She felt she owed it to his memory though.

Some people prefer not to have
footnotes to poems; they say
they spoil the poem,
and cheapen a great man;
some people like them; they say
it makes poets seem more human.

The House with Nobody in It

Whenever I walk to Suffern along the Erie track
I go by a poor old farmhouse with its shingles broken and black.
I suppose I've passed it a hundred times, but I always stop for a minute
And look at the house, the tragic house, the house with nobody in it.

I never have seen a haunted house, but I hear there are such things;
That they hold the talk of spirits, their mirth and sorrowings.
I know this house isn't haunted, and I wish it were, I do;
For it wouldn't be so lonely if it had a ghost or two.

This house on the road to Suffern needs a dozen panes of glass,
And somebody ought to weed the walk and take a scythe to the grass.
It needs new paint and shingles, and the vines should be trimmed and tied;
But what it needs the most of all is some people living inside.

If I had a lot of money and all my debts were paid
I'd put a gang of men to work with brush and saw and spade.
I'd buy that place and fix it up the way it used to be
And I'd find some people who wanted a home and give it to them free.

Now, a new house standing empty, with staring window and door,
Looks idle, perhaps, and foolish, like a hat on its block in the store.
But there's nothing mournful about it; it cannot be sad and lone
For the lack of something within it that it has never known.

But a house that has done what a house should do,
a house that has sheltered life,
That has put its loving wooden arms around a man and his wife,
A house that has echoed a baby's laugh and held up his stumbling feet,
Is the saddest sight, when it's left alone, that ever your eyes could meet.

So whenever I go to Suffern along the Erie track
I never go by the empty house without stopping and looking back,
Yet it hurts me to look at the crumbling roof and the shutters fallen apart,
For I can't help thinking the poor old house is a house with a broken heart.

And all the people that lives in the house of the heart
Are very at the house of the heart

With 10 bedrooms,1 kitchen, a dining room,1 large living room, and 5
Bathrooms
At the house of the heart everybody sleeps in their own bedroom

That Night When My Poem Was Stolen

that night when my poem was stolen
i looked up the sky and saw
the moon smiling and the stars winking
more beautifully than before
and i was wondering
the change

something must be special
about what i told them
my poem was stolen

the wind was in a hurry leaving
a message that i should have been angry
and should have reacted
the way other poets do
report the matter to the authorities
and file the charge
of intellectual thievery

i could have reacted like an angry man
deprived of a priced possession
but on the other hand
i, go beyond what others think,
i could be more kind
and understanding and more compassionate
to thieves
i ask: does he like the poem? does he love it
so as to steal it?
will he sell it? will he keep it throughout his life
and treasure it the way i treasure it too?

in the last analysis, that poem is not really mine too
it is God given, a gift during another birthday of
emptiness, another day of loneliness
and in fact, the poem was about a black rose
unfolding its petals on a very dark night
and then coming out of a crevice from
a deserted building and then found a way
to bloom one morning
but darker still....

all my poems, anyway, are written for someone
or anybody out there, lurking in the dark, looking for an opening,
wanting to drink the coming light of day, searching for their angels
of light and freedom and happiness

well, that poem that was stolen, could be intended
or meant for the thief, and so, i have come to the conclusion
that i might as well, finally,

give it to him
or her, i don't even know who that shadow was,

there was simply this shadow fading in the ward.
that poem now shall be my gift to whoever shall have it
in the future

i think, i know, how it feels now, to really give, even if it hurts.

Letter To A Young Poet Revised

Letter to a young Poet

Dear Raman, so you want me to read your poem and state my opinion.
Well, you are fond of words and you are stacking them up in your poem.
That is a good thing; clearly you are a man who reads a lot.
So you want to be a poet, poetry is self indulgent pass time it doesn’t
change anything, no one reads it, other than cranky people. Should
a poet writes something nationalistic that resonance with, a nation’s
pride, like: “my country is the best in the world.” He will get a medal.

So why don’t you become an engineer or failing that, a cook. The world
doesn’t need, anymore academic poets who forever repeat what poets
of yore have said. For the common man a poet is regarded as a figure of
fun who spends valuable time putting useless words together to make
sense of a world he doesn’t understand. As my father said, when my first
poem was published: “How much did they pay you? ” If my words have
not scared you off, you’re a poet. The only tool you’ll need is honesty.

Pagan Place

Jer Bear and Mikey Mouse,

smoked pot in Pagan house.

Pagan house had bugs inside,

and rats that crawled the sides,

now this is where I used to reside.

Spider woman lived below me

with clothes black and white,

and Top Dog in front house

blasting radio into the night.

It was the Pagan House with

Stories that were a disgrace,

it was a weird and crazy place.

My pup Shieka was stolen on

The sidewalk,

across from the table where

I used to talk…to Lu Lu who

told me a thing or two.

Luckily Sheikee my new pup

showed up,

Just that week,

she was shy and meek.

These were my best memories,

on Ocean Breeze.

in this house

in this house
where you've sat
what you ate
was the word

in this house
where you stood
what you could
something say

in this house
you could open
windows doors clapping wings
in this house
you could open
soul that heaven upward sings

A Waltz Of Blue Smiles

Please read it on a waltz rhythm: One! two, three...

She's losing her house
She's losing her house
And what what what what
She does?

A poem she writes
Paints both of her eyes
And feet in dark blue
then she cries:

I'm loosing my house
I'm loosing my house
There's nothing to do
Oh mine!

I'm loosing my house
I'm loosing my house
Blue eyes and blue feet
Oh, sweet!

Why are you so sweet
Why are you so sweet
Blue eyes blue face
and blue feet?

Her handkerchief fly
Slow searching the sky
blue rivers of tears
got dry.

On a smile smiley
cheek
colours pass through
With tears and fears
Of blue.

She's losing her house
That's sad very sad
But we know she'll survive
And smile.

Blue cute sign became
In a book of one poem
blue fears, blue tears in
origami folded again.. Insane? ! ..

Still We Rise

The White House Is Still White, Hmm! , really, must be a figment or someones migration working on their concentration, collaboration of devastation trying to be an infiltrator of motivation.
Why has racial discrimination become so tenement in the white house?
A man and the people behind him made a dream reality, Martin Luther King Jr said it better one day and that day, when President Obama moved into the white house.
The white house is still white so why fight people there are enough wars going on around the world, let President Obama do his job, he cannot appease all he has to regulate one thing at a time.

Burning Down The House (album Version) (feat. The Cardigans)

Watch out you might get what youre after
cool babies strange but not a stranger
i'm an ordinary guy
burning down the house
hold tight wait till the party's over
hold tight we're in for nasty weather
there has got to be a way
burning down the house
here's your ticket pack your back: time for jumpin' overboard
the transportations here
close enough but not too far, maybe you know where you are
fightin' fire with fire
all wet hey you might need a raincoat
shakedown dreams walking in broad daylight
three hun-dred six-ty five de-grees
burning down the house
it was once upon a place sometimes i listen to myself
gonne come in first place
people on their way to work baby what did you expect
gonna burst into flame
my house s'out of the ordinary
that's might don't want to hurt nobody
something sure can sweep me off my feet
burning down the house
no visible means of support and you have not seen nothing yet
everythings stuck together
i don't know what you expect starring into the tv set
fighting fire with fire

Where the house filled with living
The house continuously giving
Where the house filled with nature
The house filled with adventure
Anything can survive
With the nature it provides
Where the house filled with grass
The house filled with hedges, bushes and plants
Canopy trees be it rain or shine
Will be there for you at any time
Where the green house filled with fresh air
Will shelter you in the heavy rain

So much variety is yet to be found
