Delay
A luminescence arrived one fine day,
followed by a candy three years later.
Only to be hidden on a sky shelf,
and hidden for three decades of dark,
when found to be allowed only a bit'e..

Hidden Talent
Written by gerry beckley, 1998
Found on human nature.
Just like a person from another world
My eyes can see inside you, little girl
I see things that you dont want to see
I see things youre trying to hide from me
Im just trying to make you understand
All the ways you can affect this man
From the moment that you came in touch
With the power there to burn so much
Youve got hidden talent (yeah)
I bet youre gonna find some hidden talent, oh
You know your past is whats been bugging you
If youre ready girl ... do what you gotta do
Look for your life between the lines
Bad directions and poor designs
Youve got hidden talent (hidden talent, yeah)
I bet youre gonna find some hidden talent, oh
Hidden talent (hidden talent, yeah)
Check it out you ... got it, hidden talent, oh
With the advantage of perspective i
See theres more to you than meets the eye
But now the time must come to spread your wings and fly
Yeah (hidden talent) yeah
Hidden talent (hidden talent, yeah)
I bet youre gonna find some hidden talent, oh
Hidden talent (hidden talent, yeah)
Check it out ... you got it, hidden talent, oh
Hidden talent (hidden talent, yeah)
Affair without warning
Hidden talent, mmm (mmm)
Hidden talent (hidden talent, yeah)
I bet youre gonna find some hidden talent, oh
(fade)

Ive Found A Love
Baby, Ive never had a single thing in my life I could call my own.
There you were, holding a love so true,
Now Ive got a home, now Ive got a home.
I found a love, hidden in a backstreet
I found a love, baby
I found a love, hidden in a backstreet
Hidden away from the world, baby
Baby, you really make me feel like a king, a king without a crown.
But darlin, promise me one little thing: that you wont let me down.
I found a love, hidden in a backstreet
I found a love, baby
I found a love, hidden in a backstreet
Hidden away from the world, baby
Dont ever tell me lies baby,
Dont take it for a ride baby,
Just stay here by my side baby,
We wont ever stop.
I found a love, hidden in a backstreet
I found a love, baby
I found a love, hidden in a backstreet
Hidden away from the world, baby

Lament
Where are those dazzling hills touched by the sun,
Those crags in childhood that I used to climb?
Hidden, hidden under mist is yonder mountain,
Hidden is the heart.
A day of cloud, a lifetime falls between,
Gone are the heather moors and the pure stream,
Gone are the rocky places and the green,
Hidden, hidden under sorrow is yonder mountain,
Hidden, hidden.
O storm and gale of tears, whose blinding screen
Makes weather of grief, snow's drifting curtain
Palls th'immortal heights once seen.
Hidden, hidden is the heart,
Hidden, hidden is the heart.

Hidden
Hidden away I am.
Locked in my world of dispare.
I have to hide away.
Its safer that way.
No one can get me.
I can hide my pain.
Its all well hidden to the human life.
All hidden deep inside of me.
Hidden its all hidden.
Ive hidden myself away.
Hidden my life in my world.
Just hidden it all is.
Its best that way

I Want Candy
I know a girl who's tough but sweet
She's so fine she can't be beat
Shes got everything that I desire
she sets the summer sun on fire
Chorus:
I want Candy
I want Candy
I want Candy
I want Candy
Goin' to see her when the sun goes down
There ain't no finer girl in town
You're my girl, You're what the doctor ordered
A treat so sweet ya make my mouth water
I want Candy
I want Candy
I want Candy
I want Candy
I want Candy
I want Candy
Candy on the beach, there's nothing better
But I like candy when it's wrapped in leather
Someday soon I'll make her mine
And then I'll have Candy all the time
I said..I said...
I want Candy
I want Candy
I want Candy
I want Candy

Candy
Candy
Its a rainy afternoon
In 1990
The big city geez its been 20 years-
Candy-you were so fine
Beautiful beautiful
Girl from the north
You burned my heart
With a flickering torch
I had a dream that no one else could see
You gave me love for free
Candy, candy , candy I cant let you go
All my life youre haunting me
I loved you so
Candy, candy , candy I cant let you go
Life is crazy
Candy baby
Yeah, well it hurt me real bad when you left
Im glad you got out
But I miss you
Ive had a hole in my heart
For so long
Ive learned to fake it and
Just smile along
Down on the street
Those men are all the same
I need a love
Not games
Not games
Candy, candy, candy I cant let you go
All my life youre haunting me
I loved you so
Candy, candy , candy I cant let you go
Life is crazy
I know baby
Candy baby
Uou uou uou
Candy, candy, candy I cant let you go
All my life youre haunting me
I loved you so
Candy candy candy
Life is crazy
Candy baby
Candy baby,
Candy, candy

The sun dosnt shine
No sun ever shines for me.
All I have is deep black clouds.
The sun is hidden somewhere.
Hidden along way not be found.
In the bleakness of deppression.
In my darkest hour.
I can see hell and black.
The sky is always grey.
So miserable and full of gloom.
Every day full of gloom.
Full of gloom and doom.
My sun dont shine its hidden.
Hidden far away.

Hidden Voices in the Dark
I hear whispers in the murky corners.
I hear echoes coming out of the shadows.
I hear screams screeching through the dim black.
The hidden voices in the dark.
A son is whispering accept me even if I am gay.
A daughter echo of daddy please doesn’t touch me there.
And a mother screams I did not know.
They are some of the hidden voices in the dark.
In the silence of the night
when all is somber.
That is when my mind’s ear
is tune in to all
The Hidden Voices in the Dark
Little flower
It seems she is the beautiest flower.
Hidden in the darkest tower.
Hidden in the deepest dark.
Wearing all her thorns so sharp.
The flower I do like so much.
The flower I'm not allowed to touch.
The flower I'm thinking of.
Although she's sometimes so rough.
Flower of my misery.
Shine on in eternaty.
Flower of my happiness.
Eased away my deep distress.
The flower is so far away.
Watch her growing day by day.
She lives on the other side.
But she makes my days so bright.

Our Blueprint
Compulsory voting or fifty-dollar fine at tax time,
Shows that this important national issue is not five-and-dime,
And those who refuse to vote or pay, get ten days in jail,
No house arrest allowed, no legal aid, no caution and no bail.
Binding referendums for all Canadians on national options,
Before these options turn into major national problems,
How each politician votes on any issue should be published,
And not carefully moved around and hidden from the public.
Set-date elections every three years and constituents allowed recall,
Death with dignity allowed and no one or group, can forestall,
The Supreme Court, Governor Generals and parole boards elected,
So that defects in our systems can be finally corrected.

If
IF
BY
JAMES BREDIN AUG 9TH,2012
If we had binding referendums like the Swiss have had for years,
Could we maybe interrupt some useless political careers?
Or maybe proportional representation or a plebiscite,
Unfortunately Ottawa aristocrats don't have this appetite.
If we could eventually elect senators or judges?
Could we show that the system doesn't run on hidden grudges?
If we were finally allowed death with dignity?
Could we wish them well as we die without pain or indignity?
If they finally brought down mandatory voting for us,
Or a twenty dollar fine at tax time more or less,
If constituents had recall allowed of their own politician,
Am I getting ahead of myself or is this just superstition?

I'm Always Learning From Nature
For many years I have loved Nature but little about her I know
My knowledge of her is basic I know a finch from a crow
Recognize some birds by their songs know a wallaby from a roo
Know a wombat from an echidna and a rosella from a cockatoo
Just basic knowledge of Nature her secrets from us she hide
Nature who lives in Townparks and gardens and who reigns supreme in the countryside
I find her quite fascinating artists and writers she inspire
I can only sing her praises of which I never do tire
Nature is for everybody for to learn of and enjoy
And for decades of years I have loved her ever since I was a boy
Her secrets she has hidden from me so mysterious in her own way
I'm always learning from Nature learning from her every day
Yes I'm always learning from Nature and my wonder of her only grow
Yet from me her secrets she keeps hidden and little about her I know.

The Moment You Arrived
The moment you arrived,
I knew you too.
Your eyes penetrated through,
My inhabitions hidden.
And free I felt to be myself.
With a flow between us,
Growing unrestricted...
To dissolve blocking walls,
Easily.
The moment you arrived...
To recognize you and I,
Could provide...
Communicated conversation,
No longer waiting with a patience to connect.
We knew what to expect would be accepted,
Next.
And we knew,
Anticipated steps directed...
Without the benefit of a single guess,
Would never again be neglected.
The moment you arrived,
I knew you too.
Your eyes penetrated through,
My inhabitions hidden.
And free I felt to be myself.
With a flow between us,
Growing unrestricted...
To dissolve blocking walls,
Easily.
The moment you arrived,
I...
Cried with joy,
Inside.
I...
Cried with joy,
I attempted to hide...
The moment you arrived.

Candys Room
In candys room there are pictures of her heroes on the wall
But to get to candys room you gotta walk the darkness of candys hall
Strangers from the city call my babys number and they bring her toys
When I come knocking she smiles pretty she knows I wanna be candys boy
Theres a sadness hidden in that pretty face
A sadness all her own from which no man can keep candy safe
We kiss my hearts pumpin to my brain
The blood rushes in my veins fire rushes towards the sky
We go driving driving deep into the night
I go driving deep into the light in candys eyes
She says baby if you wanna be wild you got a lot to learn, close your eyes
Let them melt let them fire let them burn
'cause in the darkness therell be hidden worlds that shine
When I hold candy close she makes these hidden worlds mine
She has fancy clothes and diamond rings
She has men wholl give her anything she wants but they dont see
That what she wants is me, oh and I want her so
Ill never let her go no no no
She knows that Id give all that I got to live
All that I want all that I live to make candy mine

Timeless
In the bud lies hidden the fragrance
Of a blossom not far away
A secret mystery an untold romance
Though it won't for long stay!
In the dawn lies hidden a story
Of a day not far away
A dark despair a shining glory
Though it won't for long stay!
In the journey lies hidden an end
That is never too far away
Together in love the time we spend
Will be forever there to stay!

Temple Of Everlasting Light
Will I ever see the pleasure that will never end
Hidden in the misty forest that desire send
Mesmerised likde fireflies falling through a flame
If I wait Ill be too late to holler out yourename
If I wait another day to travel to the ease
Time may prey upon me
Dance upon me with its feet
Hidden in the temple they are building the sun
Hidden in the forest
Hidden figure with a gun
I have waited to be here
Now I feel you near - take me home

Small Things Bother Me
He wore dark glasses I could not see his eyes
And the mirror to his soul he did disguise
He hid from the World his personality
Without the eyes a face you only see.
Perhaps his eyes from the bright sun he shade
The main reason why dark glasses are made
And though he lives nearby him I shall never get to know
As he wears dark glasses rain or sun shine or snow.
Any acknowledgement of me he never seems to show
And we pass each other by without saying hello
Through his dark glasses into my soul he peer
And he's still a stranger though to me he lives near.
Perhaps I'm small in ways and small things get to me
But it bothers me when others eyes I cannot see
Whether their eyes be blue, brown, green or grey who can say
As the mirror to their soul behind dark glasses hidden away.
I see him often though not every day
And his eyes behind dark glasses always hidden away
The mirror of his soul is well hidden from me,
Perhaps I'm small and small things bother me.

Modesty counts
Breasts when hidden add value to the cleavage.
Breasts when hidden make the loins seductive.
Breasts when hidden add poise to the face
Breasts must be hidden to make men erotic.

Candy Princess
I found a Candy Princess,
Lips bubblegum pink
Eyes sour apple green
I found a Candy Princess
Her dress is made of lollipops
Butter rum and Cherry
I found a Candy Princess
Her lips are sweet
They taste like cherries
I love my lollipop Candy Princess
We dance and sing,
Sticky sweet and happy
Innocence
Edible flowers wreathes
On our heads
I found a Candy Princess

Dark Matter
In the darkness there exist
the objects only light
can indicate that you have missed
when they were out of sight,
and in obscurity were hidden
as if they'd never been,
unheard, unspoken and unwritten,
unsatisfied, unseen.
Go seek what's hidden, try to find
the matter that is dark,
the marvels waiting for the mind
and spirit for the spark
that shatters dark and lights the world
with brilliance from dark matter
which, when thought thunderbolts are hurled,
makes light from darkness scatter.
