I have a guardian angel
keep him in my head
When I'm afraid and alone
I call him to my bed

Guardian Angel
I believe we all have a guardian Angel
unseen and invisible to the human eye
but your supernatural powerful protector
is with you from birth until you die.
Being human we all make many mistakes
going left when we should have gone right
and we go into dangerous situations
stepping into the dark instead of the light.
But thankfully it's at these very times
when our guardian is at hand to save the day
we never ever really know how many times
our protector has saved us from going astray.
It's only now when I look back on my life
can I see how it was God who pulled me through
so it's when we feel like there's no way out
he sends us a guardian to help me and you.
I believe one day in the future I will meet up
with my own guardian Angel face to face
then I can truly give all my thanks
to God for his forgiveness and his saving grace.

Guardian angel [Înger de pază]
As I was watching calmly and full of bliss at night,
A sublime guardian angel as in a dream came bright,
Clad all in shades and rays which blinded my keen sight
And with a smile, his wings over me gently spread;
But when he saw you dressed in your clothes poor and pale,
My dear lovable child, mysterious and frail,
Appalled by your dark eye, that angel quickly fled.
Are you somehow a demon, for your sad and cold glance
Emerging from your eye that lacks any romance,
Cast out my guardian angel, who took flight from my trance,
He, the divine protector and my friend always true?
Or, maybe!... Your long lashes, so black and full of grace

An angel prayed for me today
I know this to be true..
She sent a pray into the wind to
Hasten the destination,
For my heart was burden down
So low,
With many troubles of this world,
None of an earthly gain..
An angel prayed for me today

Angel dear
sit by my side
hold my hand
kiss my eyes

ever since you came
hopes fluttered

A child's perspective....
There's an angel in the curtains
mummy, mummy come and see.
Daughter, daughter I can see her
she's as pretty as can be!
Why is she in the curtains?
Mummy, mummy tell me do.
She is your guardian angel
and she watches over you.
Will she come and play with me?
I've great games we could play.
No dear, you must find some friends
and they will play those games.
So if she's my guardian angel
who watches over her?

When I was a child I thought I saw an angel. It had wings and kinda looked like my sister. I opened the door so some light could come into the room, and it sort of faded away. My mother said it was probably my Guardian Angel.
