I found a dead cat
feasted upon by rats.
The cat opened his eyes-
It was such a surprise
that I pondered if the death was valid
and I pondered if the cat was rabid.
'Leave me in peace.' Spoke the beast,
'Of your problems I'm the least.'
'WAIT! WAIT! LISTEN TO ME! '
Was it time to be or time to flee?
We parted our directions.
I held no objections.
The cat was right.
The Devil took me that night.

For the last time
The first time I fell in love with a man he abused my heart.
The last time I was held was the last time I was held really tight.
The last time I said I love you to a man, he said it back to me.
The last time a man left me was the last time I fell.
The last time I opened my heart I was afraid to leave it open.
So I closed it swearing it would never be opened again.

On a higher place
Some wait on pan
to brighten their night
with nymphs and styrs
and like in antiquity
believe that the book of the dead
have great powers of life
into the beyond

If only for a year
If only, but a slight moment longer
One chance more to hold her near

That my eyes may have a chance at one last glance

He pondered about the Lord
Setting him up
as a template
that lies and cries
was not the very idea of life
He had in mind for himself
He pondered about the Lord
How about golden spoons
and rich tycoons
As a matter of fact
what about the abstract
Sadly bitter sweet lovers they were
just for a short while
He knew
He was deep in conflict
With his religious beliefs
The candlelight
lit the night
as he pondered to the Lord
He consoled himself
while he was idle
by reading the bible

Heres a sweet september morning, theres the sense of autumn on the rise
He steps into the wind and sadly sighs
Why does it always seem to be, theres a cold december wind in front of me?
The more he fills his empty evenings
The less he feels that theres a chance to find
Something that can bring a peace of mind
Is there a place where you can go?
A little something you should know to turn the tide to your favor?

I Wish Not To
I wish not to leave my land
Where I got birth and friends
The sky with no ends in horizon
And the stars with twinkles to smile on
I wish no death should approach
I must be assured of no threat as such
I work endlessly for nature’s cause
I am much needed here because…
Why I wish another world for salvation?
When there is so much here for revelation
Beautiful birds in morning with sweet voice
And life full enterprise and with great promises
The idea of leaving itself sends me shock wave
I shall relentlessly fight and never give in
How nicely the nest is woven to live long?
Almighty might have thought very wrong
I don’t want eternal peace
I want to live with poor brethrens at ease

I won’t get all in heaven
That idea itself disturbs me even
The mortal body may be consigned or buried
I am from now it very much worried
I wish to become tiny thought and stay

The Ghost Dance
12 hours pass, flash by again twice
toll for the dead to awake again
the 8 o'clock rising still and eiry
as we follow suit of the sun dance
on hour goes by so quick so fast
and we blend to the pacing crowd
the beast struck nine and the dead join the living
hand in hand we dance the ghost dance
and look down into anothers distant eyes
hollow, gone and forboding us
what awaits beyond fleshy worlds
lust, gluteny, blasphamy and sloth
