Cry In The Garden
And ill spend many a days with a cold heart
Beating a burning desire.
These memories of scents and shades.
burn on and on
a semi vanquished fire.
lovesick thoughts,
de cages all my senses
I'd swear winter falls
On every killer absense.
I've changed my mind on being alone.
My own mind kills me everyday.
Alas!
I've spent many days loved for the illusion I am.
But hated for those very few seconds of truth.
And many achieving naught.
But twice a year I seem to turn solitude to love
And cry in the garden.
And ill spend many days writing of depression.
Trying to achieve a smile
And ill spend many days with a sore throat
Crying at strepsils smoking a cigarette.
Alas! Solitude isn't bliss
Its eternity
Bring back your presence
Maybe that day I'll love
The way my poems love
And Dance
The way my music does.
I'm such a terrific liar.
In verse.
Its all a holy lie.
No one feels.
The way my music does.
Hold on to your women
Hold on to your underpants.
Fore solitude is not bliss.
But I will spend my days
With short moments of clarity
Generally public and religious holidays.
Where I'll greet my old solitude garden loving self.
And cry out of clarity.
Holding hands with my terrifically stupendous ghost.
And I will say
'you don’t know where your going'
And he'll laugh and so will i.
Because I know he won't feel love
Till the rocks are sand.
And death sees time.

Mixing Time Your Way
so, on most of the days
you teach literature
and you said you love it
you never worked
at all,
and then on some peculiar days
you spend your body
spread on a much
needed solitude
that boulevard,
there are days you go
brisk on
a real estate business
you've got to make money sometimes
lest you can't survive
these harsh times,
and then you are back to what
you are
a poetess mixing time
taxes, teaching, real properties
solitude
sitting on a chair facing the sea
scribbling
reminiscing

Sonnet- My Ultimate Wish?
Could I not spend my days talking to God?
My precious time is spent in daily food;
If all spend lives holy, it will look odd;
Man's knowledge of the Divine is so crude.
Could I not spend my days walking with God?
What earthly work we do to save this frame!
Why do we hanker for earthly reward?
We waste God's time in sin without much shame.
Could I not spend my days thinking of God?
My thoughts are just on things of earthly mould;
Oh, how we wish that human beings laud?
Yet, without God, our hearts and souls grow cold.
Oh, how I wish I had more time for God!
Whose love for man comes with a kindly rod.

Solitary Man
Sometimes I feel like a solitary man.
Under the night sky writing what I can.
No one else is moving or driving cars.
The world belongs to me under the stars.
While pondering in my solitude
Without a thought or plan,
Thoughts jump into the mind
Of this solitary man.
I don't know where they come from.
They are just my own surprise.
Sometimes I'd swear that they have come
Through a different set of eyes.
In prison I know that solitary
Can drive a person mad.
But in those I once sent there,
For the solitude they seem glad.
The Lord needed His solitude
For at one time forty days.
And again when in the garden,
Where for the souls of men He prayed.
So in my time of solitude
I also have time to pray.
It's when I feel the closest,
To Him in my night each day!

Blaze through your days
Do not fade away when life nears its end,
old age should rage with the knowledge of its years,
till its last power is spend,
even if your days are just a godsend
and longing brings its tears
and you do not know to what end.
Blaze through your days to transcend
the expectations of others and their fears
even if your reserves are spend.
Do what you want to, even if it takes all weekend
to carry it through and your body feels as if pierced by spears,
even if you feel completely at an end,
call on every one you hold dear and every fiend and friend
before the last days nears
while there is still time to spend
to express your will, to let them comprehend
that you are still living, even if things are too far in arrears
and you my mother, live on to the end
even if you hate or love me, until your last breath is spend.

These Are The Days
Motel sitting in the dark
Empty room like an empty heart
Love will start but they never stay
They don't look back as they drive away
Maybe I
Fix this broken head light
Feeling the cracks and pain arise
And maybe love will stop here tonite
And if she knocks on my door
i'll give her the key
Just one look in her eyes and i know i'll be
Everything that she sees in me
More than i ever thought i could be but
These are the days
When all that i can do is dream
But i don't wanna spend forever
living in the in between
I'm stuck here in a place without love
And i just can't let it stay this way
But for now i'm gonna have to face it
These are the days
Gotta use this lonely time
To change the picture in my frame of mind
Outside the window theres a sunny day
I wanna feel it on my face
You and I
Are out looking for the same thing
And these walls of wondering
Waiting for someone to share this feeling
And if she knocks on my door
i'll give her the key
Just one look in her eyes and i know i'll be
Everything that she sees in me
More than i ever thought i could be but
These are the days
When all that i can do is dream
But i don't wanna spend forever
living in the in between
I'm stuck here in a place without love
And i just can't let it stay this way
But for now i'm gonna have to face it
These are the days
These are the days between your hopes and fears
These are the moments that are still locked here
There still inside even if she will not hear
Like it or not this is what i got
Ohhh God
These are the days
When all that i can do is dream
But i don't wanna spend forever
living in the in between and
I'm stuck here in a place without love
And i just can't let it stay this way (yeah)
But for now i'm gonna have to face it cause
These are the days
These are the days
When all that i can do is dream
But i don't wanna spend forever
living in the in between
I'm stuck here in a place without love
And i just can't let it stay this way
But for now i'm gonna have to face it

Christmas To Christmas
Seems like only yesterday
We put our Christmas things away
Now here's another Christmas day with you
When you're in love, how time does fly
And this year that's just flown by
Had been one happy holiday for two
Christmas to Christmas
Wrapped in your arms
Love's always in season
And always so warm
Till my days on earth are through
I will spend Christmas to Christmas lovin' you
Yes, the givin' season's here again
Time to love your fellow man
Yuletide smiles are in demand, it's true
The love we share is for all time
We'll feel its glow right through July
To melt the cold when winter flies anew
Christmas to Christmas
Wrapped in your arms
Love's always in season
And always so warm
Till my days on earth are through
I will spend Christmas to Christmas lovin' you
Till my days on earth are through
I will spend Christmas to Christmas lovin' you

Transformations
To wake up with a tear on your pillow,
To sleep with a smile on your face,
The nights torture you,
With endless memories of the past,
The days when love was love,
The days she used to hold you,
The days when she had not changed
To remember the days you were everything,
To recall the days you were something,
Seeing your subtile transformation,
To see yourself in a lonely place,
From something to nothing,
From somebody to someone
Feeling the departure of love,
Seeing the petal fall off the rose,
The thorns striking you deeply,
The heart bleeds but dries,
The transformations
To see a lover opening the door,
To see her pack her bags,
To see her waving goodbye,
Your heart wonders, transformations
To hear her voice in the gardens,
To see her in the mirror,
To feel her in your solitude,
Wondering why she transformed,
From a lover to a foe,
From a friend to an enemy,
She has gone.

If You Ever Did Believe
Youve left me now
And its seasoned my soul
And with every step you take,
I watch another part of you go
I continue to build a wall
You were so strong,
I fell to my knees
And I dont think I can handle this at all
Well one more night
Id like to lie and hold you
Yes and feel
To make you smile,
Id like to be there for you--
Have you forgotten me?
And the days go by
Doing nothing about them
How much time
Will I have to spend?
My mind wont rest
And I dont sleep
Not even in my dreams
If you ever did believe
For my sake
If you ever did believe
And the days go by
Doing nothing about them
How much time
Will I have to spend?
And the days go by
Doing nothing about them
How much time
Will I have to spend?
Well one more night
Id like to lie and hold you
Yes and feel
To make you smile,
Id like to be there for you--
Have you forgotten me?
Ooo....ooo.....ooo...
Ooo baby dont leave me
Ooo..ooo...ooo...ooo
Im down on my knees...
Ooo..ooo...ooo...ooo
Begging you please...
Ooo...ooo...ooo...ooo
Baby dont leave me....
Did you ever believe?

Near You
There's just one place for me
Near you
It's like heaven to be
Near you
Times when we're apart
I can't face my heart
Say you'll never stray
More than just two lips away
*If my hours could be spent
Near you
I'd be more than content
Near you
Make my life worthwhile
By telling me that I'll
Spend the rest of my days
Near you
Repeat from *
I'll spend the rest of my days
Near you
Spend the rest of my days
Near you (and fade)

In The Solitude Of Prayer
In the solitude of prayer
deep
Lost in moments in between weep
and sleep
In the solitude of prayer
Lonliness finds a rest
Survived another test
Brings out our best
In the solitude of prayer
With nobody there
Except those far away
Reminded of their distant care
In the solitude of prayer
You pray for their smile
For their personal trial
Silently, all the while
In the solitude of prayer
Dreams seem more near
More hope than fear
Thoughts of those past those dear
In the solitude of prayer
Pray for their souls kind
Whose memory is still in your mind
And in your heart
In the solitude of prayer
Pray for your dear friends
Whose heart's you defend
As your own heart they mend
In the solitude of prayer
As for God's wisdom
And his love
As all love comes from above
In the solitude of prayer
Find grace to forgive
And to truely give
And to live
In the solitude of prayer
Recall how to dream
Of warm embraces of affection
And of love returned in your direction
In the solitude of prayer
Pray with conviction
Pray for the impossible
Without fear or restriction

Landing In London
I woke up today in London
As the plane was touching down
And all I could think about was Monday
Maybe Id be back around
If this keeps me way much longer
I dont know what I would do
You got to understand its a hard life,
that Im going through
And when the night falls around me
And I dont think Ill make it through
Ill use your light to guide the way
All I think about is you
L A is getting kind of crazy
And New York is getting kind of cold
I keep my head from getting lazy
I just cant wait to get back home
And all these days I spend away
Ill make up for this I swear
I need your love to hold me up
When its all to much to bear
And when the night falls around me
And I dont think Ill make it through
Ill use your light to guide the way
All I think about is you
And all these days I spend away
Ill make up for this I swear
I need your love to hold me up
When its all to much to bear
And when the night falls around me
And I dont think Ill make it through
Ill use your light to guide the way
All I think about is you

Solitude
Duke ellington / eddie delange / irving mills
In my solitude
You haunt me
With dreadful ease
Of days gone by
In my solitude
You taunt me
With memories
That never die
I sit in my chair
And filled with despair
Theres no one could be so sad
With gloom everywhere
I sit and I stare
I know that Ill soon go mad
In my solitude
Im afraid
Dear lord above
Send back my love

No Other Love
(olivia newton-john)
I--i want to spend my life with you
No other love
Could make me feel this way
What I can be myself
And live the truth
No other love has ever let me be myself
When Im with you my heart feels free
To open up
And Im never afraid to love
Surrendering to your sweet touch
I can face the years if Im with you
No other love
Can make me feel this sure
That I have found a tenderness so pure
No other love
Has ever helped my heart feel bold
Im never afraid of growing old
When Im with you
And Im happy to be alone
Believin you are always close
I thought that older was wiser
But now I have to think again
Ill spend my days of wine and roses
Romancing a friend
I--i want to spend my life with you
No other love could make me feel this way
Where I can be myself
And live the truth
No other love has ever let me be myself
When Im with you my heart feels free to open up
And Im never afraid to love
Surrendering to your sweet touch
Oh i--i want to spend my life with you
Oh i--i want to spend my life with you
Oh i--i want to spend my life with you
No other love but you

Love Time (Love Poem)
Time passes in a mystery of minutes and months,
Days and nights a survival of solitude and sleep,
Life and living becomes an unending wait for Now.
Now is just a Technicolor rush of with you again,
But our time together always is impossibly short,
So that leaving you again gets harder every time.
Why is time a new variable with the one I love?
Why are the colours of love so warm for us now?
Why do Cupid’s arrows still draw blood so red?
Why are grey days bright and rainy days soft?
Why after all these years do I feel like this?
Why is time with you in too-short seconds?
If only our love stopped the earth turning,
We could love in a frozen second of time,
Forever.

Lovin Man
Words and music by jeff cook
I dont mind the cold and rain where Im waiting.
Im holding on to your memry as tight as I can.
Silver wings are bringing you back so I can hold you, and let me know that
Im still your lovin man.
You carry my dreams through the darkness while Im sleeping; the part of love
That I need to fit my plan.
I dont need nobody else to eas my feelings, as long as I can be your lovin
Man.
I been waiting here for days to see that big steel bird arrive.
And just the thought of lovin you is whats kept this man alive.
Share with me all the joy life can bring us, though my kingdows may be
Castles made of sand.
Darlin please spend your sunshine days beside me, and let me always be your
Lovin man, your lovin man.
Let me be your lovin man.
Let me be your lovin man.

Words From A Husband To A Wife (Envelope Couplet Sestets)
Spend your time with me until the night end
as we attend a party at the house of a friend
smile and talk to me as if I am someone else
laugh merrily at the jokes our host tells,
while you dance with me where the stairs bend,
spend your time with me until the night end.
Spend your time with me until the night end
smile coyly while a drink I recommend,
treat me like a stranger you have just met
while our eyes are just on each other set,
let your glance shy before mind descend,
spend your time with me until the night end.
Spend your time with me until the night end
even if our friends do not really comprehend
why we are different from our old stances
why we are romancing in all our glances
while like some strangers we together blend,
spend your time with me until the night end.
Spend your time with me until the night end
as if life on a moment do depend
while you act just like a brand new lover,
as if our feelings we did rediscover,
as if we met only on a godsend,
spend your time with me until the night end.
Spend your time with me until the night end,
friendly greet the old smiling reverend
while we proudly walk past to our dinner
as if we are just two love-struck sinners,
while our unfamiliarity we do pretend,
spend your time with me until the night end.

A few moments together
Let us spend a few moments together,
the holidays won’t last for ever,
the promises we made to finish up the house chores,
will be our New Year's resolution for the next year.
Let us spend a few moments together,
let us feel each others pains together,
let us look in each others eyes,
let us rediscover the lost love in our hearts.
Let us spend a few moments together,
our long relationship has made our dreams stale,
let us share the soft touch of red roses of our love,
let us walk hand in hand together adoring the surf on the beach.
Let us spend a few moments together,
let us not worry about driving to popular places and beating the crowds,
let us sit close together and look at the stars in night skies,
let us really relive this life together.

The Game Is Over
This song was first released on the whose garden was this? album. it is the only album it has been released on.
Time, there was a time
You could talk to me without speaking
You would look at me and Id know
All there was to know
Days, I think of you
And remember the lies we told
In the night, the love we knew
The things we shared when our hearts were beating together
Days, that were so few
Full of love and you
Gone, the days are gone now
Days, that seem so wrong now
Life, wont be the same
Without you to hold again in my arms
To ease the pain and remember
When our love was a reason for living
Days, that were so few
Full of love and you
The game is over
