Many-tower’d stronghold
A magnificent cathedral

Romance Bore Seduction
Hand blessed hand, caressed.
A blushing rose, her face;
Her breast alive;
The elfin nose, a diamond set -
A kiss upon perfection
Bore a rise of pulse
To coach a sultry moan
Across a mellow breath of wine.
He knew; he sensed,
And easing loose a clasp of lace,
Another sign of her relenting:
Wild the play of eyes,
A fuller glide of skin;
He felt the now begin -
Her swell, intention in the sigh.
And so to hedge his move upon the cue -
The cry of deep anticipation,
Waxing all he saw -
Tho' not for us to view -
Arrived, emotion raw.

The Doors Are Locked
From inside of this room
I shall not exit
I have locked the doors
To the world outside.
It does not matter to me what is happening outside, because
Behind these locked doors
Is the world that I live in,
This land of my dreams that
I have fabricated for myself alone.
I recall my father recently reading me a story-
Of a woman who created a world within her dreams-
There she lived and locked herself
Inside of the doors that
Barred her from all that is real.
My father's hope was that
I would find my way out from
This place he called the land of my delusions.
This place which he calls the land of my delusions has become
My only veracity.
From the inside of this room
I shall not exit-it is here I safely converse with
The voices inside of my mind.
The doors to this room are locked, but
I can still hear my mother weeping, and
I hear my mother cry out from the midst of her tears-
What has become of my only child?
Inside of this room, I have constructed a world.
The doors are locked and
I have shut reality out-
The doors to my room are locked and
I have lost the key.
My mother is still weeping as her one and only
Has lost the key that would open the doors
To the world outside-
My mother is sobbing; the key is lost and alas-
Her only child's sanity has also been lost.

Do Men Also Wish To Be Courted
Contrary to what you've heard
What's been widely reported
Women aren't the only ones
Who dream of being courted
While women still seek to be the damsel
Locked many stories high in a tower
They deny it but like the man to have some power
Some romance, to guide and protect them as a tender flower
But men too have dreams it seems
Though little of them do they dare say
They dream of love and romance
But rarely feel true romance directed their way
So if you have a man you wish to hold hand-in-hand
If you wish him to love you and understand
If you love him and he makes your heart swoon
Show him love, in little ways while still giving him some room
If you are to be his queen
and him to be your knight
Give him romance and courtship
And he'll strive to treat you right
Know that when they lay their heads down
and dream about you at night
Men dream in color
Not in black and white

We Are All Captured Beasts
We are all captured beasts,
And we howl - as we might.
We can't open the doors,
For the doors are locked tight.
If our hearts can remember tradition,
When our barking brings solace, we bark.
We don't know. Long ago we've forgotten
That it stinks badly in this zoo-park.
For our hearts can accept repetition;
Bored and weary, we cuckoo our song.
For the zoo is impersonal, habitual;
We've not longed to be free for so long.
We are all captured beasts,
And we howl - as we might.
We can't open the doors,
For the doors are locked tight.

One Way To Go
Youve got to lift yourself up so high
Youve got to lift yourself up so high
You cant see the ground
You cant see the ground
You dont hear a sound
You dont hear a sound
Youve got to move it up so slow
Youve got to move it up so slow
You see it all
You see it all
Youll probably fall
Youll probably fall
Id rather die than see you fly
Than see you try
Id rather die than see you fly
Id rather die than see you fly
Than see you try
Than see you try
Id rather die than see you fly
Than see you try
Its like pushing locked doors to get in your mind
I dont care what I find
Its like pushing locked doors to get in your mind
Its like pushing locked doors to get in your mind
I dont know what Ill find
I dont care what I find
Its like pushing locked doors to get in your mind
Youve got to move me up
I dont know what Ill find
So high it hurts
So high it burns
But if you let me down
Youve got to move me up
Dont bother to call
So high it hurts
Just let me fall
So high it burns
Id rather die than see you fly
But if you let me down
Than see you try
Dont bother to call
Id rather die than see you fly
Just let me fall
Than see you try
Id rather die than see you fly
Than see you try

I dont care what I find
Its like pushing locked doors to get in that mind
Its like pushing locked doors to get in that mind

I dont care what I find

Its like pushing locked doors to get in that mind
I dont care what I find
I dont care what I find
Its like pushing locked doors to get in that mind
Its like pushing locked doors to get in that mind
I dont care what I find
I dont care what I find
Its like pushing locked to get in that mind
Its only one...
I dont care what I find
Its like pushing locked doors to get in that mind

Its only one...

Alone Alone Alone
He was writing his sermon.
He'd locked his room.
He wanted none to break his thoughts.
No one would ever disturb him.
He was alone, alone, alone.
He was fixing his false teeth,
behind closed doors.
He wanted none to peep in on his secret.
No one would want to know if he had teeth.
He was alone, alone, alone.
He was counting his coins,
in the darkness of his shabby hut.
He wanted none to know his wealth.
No one wanted his meager sum.
He was alone, alone, alone.
You and I are all like them,
locked behind our own doors,
not wanting to be pried into.
Not knowing how isolated we are.
We are just alone, alone, alone.

My Chemical Romance
My Chemical Romance
By Shawn Cline
It was a Romance with no feelings for me or others.
It was a time that my Romance took my life from me.
It was the beginning of the end of my life.
No hopes no dreams just space and emptiness.
My Romance had no heart nor love, for they were locked within my deepest soul.
The chains that held me down were from my own doings that I did not want to face.
Life itself was my enemy, which I fought to the very end of my romance.
My Chemical Romans was my only love, friend and assurance to make me better.
I did not want to ask for help because I knew that someone would tell me the truth.
My Chemical Romans was sucking the very life from me, my friend that I trust.
I pray one day My Chemical Romance can be put away for good;
And I can live my life without pain, blame, denial, depression, anger, fear and shame
Just to have one day to be me, confident in My Romance for Life and Dreams
But it may be too late for me, because I am a weak soul lost for today…..

Get Hold Of The Night
Some fresh air will do your good
Get hold of the night
This is the last summer night
Before winter gets here
Still light out side
Isn’t this night incredible?
Or what?
It is too late now
I wished I knew it would had happened ahead of time
So I could get a picture
Of this summer night
Looks like the kids got the idea in the street to get out doors and play the last
Hockey game of the summer
On this spectacular and magnificent night
Get hold of the night
It would be silly to stay
In doors on a magnificent and spectacular summer night
It won’t last long
I kissed the summer good bye

there are bomb? doors and there are revolving doors doors on the rudders of big ships and there are revolving doors there are doors that open by themselves there are sliding doors and there are secret doors there are doors that lock and doors that don't there are doors that let you in and out but never open but there are trap doors that you can't come back from

Behind closed doors they had what were legendary battles I hear but when the doors opened there was absolute unity. Not a crack could be found. No separation whatsoever. They were locked together for the good of the community.

Pull / Pulk Revolving Doors
There are barn doors
And there are revolving doors
Doors on the rudders of big ships
And there are revolving doors

And doors that dont
There are doors that let you in
And out

Sleep
What can I tell you about my lover, Sleep?
Each night through locked doors she enters my room
Doorman never giving warning. Shoes in hand
She treads lightly down the hall, my
Chamber door opens noiselessly and quickly
Till in seconds she is sitting on the bed.
The corner sinks where she settles.
I do not want her.
But her moves are quick
She is like a windmill in the wind
Many-handed, tall on the brow of a hill.
I do not want her
But the fringe on her glove is so thick, it
Swarms with aromas, brushes my lips,
She holds...

Don't let them bury the light
The curtains closed
All the doors are locked
The flickering of a light
With your ear to the wall
Listening to the emptiness
Not a soul on that otherside
The world is dead to you
The people are one threatening mass
Waiting with their torches
To burn it all down
To bury you with all your haloes
Prejudice triumphs
They will never comprehend
And you gave up
Gave up on mankind,
that put you and your inner world to a shame
Don’t let them bury the light
Let the halo shine
Fight them with whatever you can find
Get up,
Pull that trigger,
pick that apple
Make your paradise
Bring me your light
Then I bring you my love

Behind closed doors
Doors made of steel
others made of wood
life going on behind them
things that are bad and good.
Doors that are always closed
while some are forever open wide
behind doors can lie secrets
and where people can go to hide.
A door opened to a new future
another one blocking your way
families at war behind the door
but where children can happily play.
Prisoners locked in behind solid doors
waiting for the key to turn in the lock
as lonely people sit in their homes
waiting for someone just to knock.
The doors of Gold created in Heaven
only opened for the chosen few
behind them lies an eternal life
but will they open for me or you?

Two Shadows
Moral codes under black lace
Permeate the sensuous epidermis
We touch in sanctuary
We meet inside the dim lit cathedral
Past the sinew
Past the circus
There are symbols on your walls
Conversion is not dogmatic
Love walks these stone alleys
Narrow streets where artists paint
Romance is a blue sea within
Romance is dangerous like a city
You see my dark corridors
You see my sharp edges
I am the defiled, the hopeful
Please see my warm fire
Your eyes are my candles
Self-portraits are incognito
We reveal one another
The moon shines through stained glass
Darkness is a weak excuse
Your smile is from Eden
Your black cloak just a disguise
Tenderness hidden deep inside
I am the man who needs you
We are the port coming in view
We are the stars shining in the night
The lions are still-hunting
The world is at war
Time is doomed to entropy
Love seems to be inexplicable
Maybe we can hear one another
We leave the cathedral like two shadows

Cathedral Spires
They have blown away the daylight hours we had
Left a leagcy, a deadly aftermath
We cannot exist in godforsaken lands
As we spiral down into oblivion
Breathing the fumes of fires that they ignite
Losing ground and we are all just losing sight
We shall never see another setting sun
Time to rise up and ascend, the end has come
No more willpower
Choked by hell fire
Darkness above
Blackening out the sun
Gripped by steel claws
Corrosion eating us
So before were all devoured
Time to rise up and retire
In cathedral spires
Watching as the world expires
From up amongst the clouds
In cathedral spires
No names
No graves
No prayers
Can save us
Ashes to dust
Doomsdays upon us now
It cannot be stopped
Genocide all is lost
Oh! were so tired
Time to rise up and conspire
In cathedral spires
Watching as our world expires
From up above the clouds
In cathedral spires
Jaws of corruption
Swallow us as one
Consuming every nation
Evoke resistance getting none
Complete disintegration
No good to defend
There can be but one outcome
We are no more - ascend
Vaporized fury
Offers no sanctuary
Oh! were so tired
Time to rise up and retire
In cathedral spires
Watching as the world expires
From up amongst the clouds
In cathedral
In cathedral spires
Oh! were so tired
Watching the world expire
Time that we retire
Up in cathedral spires
Oh! were so tired
Watching the world expire
Time that we retire
Up in cathedral spires
Oh! were so tired
Watching the world expire
Time that we retire
Up in cathedral spires
Oh! were so tired
Watching the world expire
Time that we retire
Up in cathedral spires

Lullaby
Lullaby! Lullaby!
There’s a tower strong and high
Built of oak and brick and stone,
Stands before a wood alone.
The doors are of the oak so brown
As any ale in Oxford town,
The walls are builded warm and thick
Of the old red Roman brick,
The good grey stone is over all
In arch and floor of the tower tall.
And maidens three are living there
All in the upper chamber fair,
Hung with silver, hung with pall,
And stories painted on the wall.
And softly goes the whirring loom
In my ladies’ upper room,
For they shall spin both night and day
Until the stars do pass away.
But every night at evening.
The window open wide they fling,
And one of them says a word they know
And out as three white swans they go,
And the murmuring of the woods is drowned
In the soft wings’ whirring sound,
As they go flying round, around,
Singing in swans’ voices high
A lonely, lovely lullaby.
