Cascading Germination
Scenic Route
A speck of
Sand in Zygote's
Hand
Generously X'ing
And Y'ing in
Demarkation's limiting
Path
No Steps along
The Way
Not today
Go lightly
You brazen one
Your gumption
Denotes a Wisdom
Beyond Consciousness
Such an Epic adventure
You so endure
How did you really
Get here?
From Afar?
Mother, Father
God
I Am Sure

Saddle Up
Saddle up.
This ride we're taking,
Wont be easy.
Saddle up.
We're taking the direct route,
Without a scenic tease.
Saddle up.
This ride we're taking,
Wont be easy.
Saddle up.
We're taking the direct route,
Without a scenic tease.
I've got to speed up that peace,
That waits for me.
All that mess about aggression!
And who's got a better weapon,
To teach a lesson.
Ain't getting one thing done!
But keeping people on the run!
Saddle up.
This ride we're taking,
Wont be easy.
Saddle up.
We're taking the direct route,
Without a scenic tease.
Saddle up.
This ride we're taking,
Wont be easy.
Saddle up.
We're taking the direct route,
Without a scenic tease.
I've got to speed up that peace,
That waits for me.
All that mess about aggression!
And who's got a better weapon,
To teach a lesson.
Ain't getting one thing done!
But keeping people on the run!
I'm not accustomed to the cunning!
Saddle up.
This ride we're taking,
Wont be easy.
Saddle up.
We're taking the direct route,
Without a scenic tease.
If you wont to share that chaos,
You can have the piece I leave.
Or saddle up with me...
And let them keep this sick disease!

Two Steps
Two steps together
Our Myths says
Brings two souls together
Two steps together
Is the surround of
One’s life to another
Two steps together
Can bring the long path
Seeming so far away
To so close that
One can feel the step’s beat
In his own heart.
Two steps together
But,
Will life be just the path of two steps only?
Anyhow, any steps walking is incomplete
If it is not done in two steps
All begins by just two steps together….

When the Testing Comes
In 1952...
I took my first steps on a stage.
The Bushnell Memorial Auditorium...
As it was called in those days.
And today in 2008,
I look back and ask myself...
What steps did I make,
I least appreciate.
And today I can honestly say...
I've been blessed in every way.
And there is not one step I've taken,
I regret.
The obstacles and challenges were not easy.
Nor having to be patient,
With those who purposedly stood on my path.
Believing I had no identity.
And I was some kind of test!
I had been for them.
And today I am still for others.
And when the testing comes...
I am not the one who fails!

But Mostly In The Wrong Direction
day 1
took 1,473 steps today(or rather night) under the dark, weighted
sky, nearly stumbled but the cracks in the sidewalk
can't bring me down
day 34
love left me today(or rather morning)
7,893 steps say run, run, get away
and never come back
day 127
hope returned today(or rather afternoon)
and so did i
with 7,894 steps just to make up for leaving
day 542
walked today (was it morning or afternoon?)
do you know how the cold makes the sunset freeze in gold?
didn't count steps today
much better things to do

Life is in fusion
Flowers plucked, branches cut,
A tree is not dead.
Pollens dead and ovules dead,
No life is lost.
Pollen and ovule fuse to zygote
And in zygote’s death
Is the real death.
Sperms and ova have no death.

Speck Like Me
I’m often perplex that the same God who made the heavens and the earth took time to make a speck like me.
Why would the same God who put water in the lakes, oceans and seas; want to create a speck like me?
For I can’t fly
like His birds. Neither can I shine like his sun. But low and behold He is still proud of a speck like me.
Now, in this world there are those who seem to believe that they are bigger than life, but they too are only a speck like me.
I Know You're Smiling
Your feet were in the sand today
Along a lonely sea
You grabbed somebody's hand today
And somehow, it was me
I wished upon a star today
And watched that wish come true
I heard a voice out far today
And somehow, it was you
We found out who we are today
It's such a mystery
That pieces from so far away
Somehow fit so perfectly
Wisdom is the path to God
There is suffering and a cause for it.
There is an end and a path for it.
You are the cause. Wisdom is the path.
To view, to think, to speak, to behave,
To live, to act, to feel and to attend,
You should employ wisdom, wisdom alone.
Then mounts and valleys look flat.
Buddha is the Guide, not the God.
The Dharma is the path, not Karma.
The Sangas are only the companions,
Who can take you through eight paths.
To where? Lord Buddha did not say it.

I Will Take You As A Grain Of Sand In My Palm Against The Sun
your name you call yourself is
insignificant, a speck of dust,
a grain of sand, you have slept
for years, in this dream of being
nothing,
what a sadness you have
the inability to gleam freely
like a diamond even on a faint
light in the dark cave
i have been looking for you
missing you like the only
missing soul-mate of my whole life
i have existed i have not lived at all
i have not died either
for lack of reason and power
to unbreathe to vomit what
has been generously fed us
by time
now, it has come this
magnanimous opportunity of meeting you again
i shall take you gently in my palm
let you rest in there and when the sun comes
you will gleam
he will know your name and presence
your insignificance by itself
the sun tells you
is diamond against the vast sky,
shining, shining in the shores of our lives

"Walking In The Sand"
Seems like the other day
My baby went away
She went away across the sea
It's been two years or so
Since I saw my baby go
And then this letter came for me
Oh it said that we were through
She's found somebody new
Oh baby's gone what can I do

An Inevitable Adventure: Change!
A beautiful wonder known as Change
Alters; once green, dispersed in islets
To polished wholes, in garnered violets.
Was always there, will continue to be
For a sage, rare cues are enough
But fool assumes, can resist and bluff.
Whether its a caterpillar to butterfly,
From sand to pearl, or coal to diamond
The change neither stops, nor stuns.
So learn while strolling the path of wisdom
Don't be a frog, thinks no change comes to his well
It's a route brayed by fools, to live life in a shell.
Remember, Change is absolute;
Inevitability, with many struggles and strives.
An adventure for existence, its synonym is Life.

Got Your Heart...................
The sky seems so bright today
Why I float on the breeze today
People who never had a ray
Why are they laughing today?
Why the leaves dance with joy
I can hear what the flowers say
Did I change my route today?
Is it they who changed their way
Why things are so bright today
Why I smile all the day
Do you know what they say?
That I got your heart today

About Us In Here Wondering What Happens Next
very tiny bit
of wisdom
from her,
she speaks
the power of
atom,
bread crumb,
dash in a long sentence,
a dropp of rain,
fragments of the poetess
who kills herself at the
end,
grain of sand
resembling the universe
of our
humanity,
hoot, iota, jot, little,
mite, modicum,
particle,
piece,
pinch,
scrap,
shred,
speck,
trace
it is us.

Crazy Notes
I woke up the flowers before sunrise today
To hear about the imminent song
They seem to know your route to Eden
As wisdom paused too late and shuddered
Yesterday I was at the edge of the world
My silence around me did some crazy moves
The frangipani dew rained wet on my senses
Fragrant whispers as my sanity swayed with you
Our jasmines lit your radiance once more
Star-lights on me, your face from before sunrise
Your silver-hair kissed from my sated nights
Your arms slowly tightening their moon grip
You cant let go of me as yet, as we drench
Hand in hand in the rain, as I vapor in you
From days you are gone, till you return to us
Slivers of reality tangoing schizophrenic…

Steps
steps taken in stillness
resonate off the walls
of the universe...
creating waves,
waves upon waves,
that pound the shores
of indifference
till change arises,
and a new day begins!
steps taken in naked honesty,
peel back the layers of the wound.
find the tiny speck of the human,
beneath the rubble and the ruins.
steps taken in shared compassion
have the rhythm of human hearts,
beating out the sacred dance
in honor of what we're called to be...
steps taken together,
the very best of all!
from darkness into the light,
from captivity into freedom!

Life is a string.
A child at birth comes out as alive.
It is out of the embryo, alive.
The embryo is from the zygote, alive
The zygote is the fusion of gametes alive.
Life is a string through the beads alive.
No break in life since its inception.
Soul has no entry at the time of birth.
Soul has no exit at the time of death.
