Brightest Star

Brightest star in the sky
surrenders no light in the dark
where anger breeds unkept
in a lifeless world unkind
words that scorch the heart
as a ruthless nuclear fallout
that shadows the earth
misshapen growth of cancer
destroys life in a single blow
upon the wind
of a radioactive wave
brightest star in the sky
unable to penetrate the poison
in the self - destruction of life
where anger breeds unkept
in a world unkind

The Christmas Message

The Christmas Message

As he lay on his bed unable to sleep
he saw the brightest star in the sky.
It was the brightest he had ever seen
and he couldn’t understand why.

He watched the star by night and day,
its intensity never waned.
A golden light came down from heaven
carrying an angel who explained.

The messenger spoke of the Son of God
and how he was soon to be born.
He would bring love, peace, and goodwill,
and inspire the lost and forlorn.

The child’s name will be Jesus Christ,
man’s saviour from the highest heaven,
and he will live upon the Earth as a man
until his life for mankind is given.

The Star

When I was a boy I searched the skies
For the truth, a star, and the worldly wise,
But ever the path of the brightest lay
On my neighbour’s roof, or another’s way.

So I chose a star and I called it ‘Dawn’
As the brightest light in a summer storm
And I charged it: ‘Lay out my future way
As bright as the path you trace today.’

But when I was older, learned and wise
I left the star in the drifting skies
And never a thought of the star was lent
While the truth, the star, and my faith was spent.

And when I was down, and worn, and thin,
I got to think what I might have been
And searched for the star in the drifting skies
And cried its name at the pale sunrise.

I’ve scanned and searched for a single star
Since the way of the world was far too far,
But all I get are the skies alight
Or a deep despair on a cloudy night!

My First Love Poem

When God created heaven and he placed those stars above,
I knew right then the star I'd chose would fill my life with love,

The greatest gift bestowed to me is the best received by far,
because that's the day I've met you and realised that you're my star,

I can't forecast what life will hold but there is one thing I know,
That if we keep it watered well our plant of friendship will grow,

You will always be the brightest star in the heavens of my heart,
And I won't despair when dark clouds near for my star shines through the dark.

Troubles Here

(jann brown/matt barnes)
Troubles here but I aint gonna worry
About the way things are
cause weve got a love that can light the fuse to the brightest star
We got a big moon above us
Shinin through the dark
Ill trade this mind full of troubles
For a love burnin up my heart
Darlin we got something, hard to define
I know its love but its love of another kind
It melts away worrie like the desert sun
Were two hearts a poundin to the beat of a different drum
Troubles here but I aint gonna worry
About the way things are
cause weve got a love that can light the fuse to the brightest star
We got a big moon above us
Shinin through the dark
Ill trade this mind full of troubles
For a love burnin up my heart
I like the way you hold me, and your kissin too
I love the sweet- talkin words you say when Im feelin blue
Swear Im in love with you baby, and Im crossin my heart
There aint enough trouble in this whole world tha can keep us apart
Troubles here but I aint gonna worry
About the way things are
cause weve got a love that can light the fuse to the brightest star
We got a big moon above us
Shinin through the dark
Ill trade this mind full of troubles
For a love burnin up my heart

That Star

The brightest star in the sky
I claim as you
Cause it shines bright
Just like you
I see that star every night
And though we live miles apart
I know one day I'll see you, just as I see that star
That star is the only light in the darkness
Just as your the only thing keeping me clinging to life
That star guides me through the night
To see the light of another day
Another day closer to seeing you

The Daytime Star

Alas! Show Thyself to me oh daytime star!
Yea! Many sayeth that there be a star that glows brightest by day!
Show thyself to me that I may behold thy brightness with mine eyes!
Said he.
And a voice replied saying,
In the most obvious of places is that which men have sought without finding!
I am the star that glows brightest over all norths!
I am the Alpha-Star!
I am the Sun-Light!
The Daytime star!

Anger Is One Letter Short Of Danger

Anger is fire
It burns the soul
Anger is deep sea
Drowns one to death
Anger is a storm
Blows one
Out of the world
Anger is demon
Overpowers the mind
Anger is a virus
Slowly kills a person
Anger is evil
Brings one closer to hell
Anger is madness
Makes one suffer
Anger is an enemy
Destroys one slowly
Turns friendship
Into enmity
Always remember
Anger is
One letter short of
Danger
It takes its toll
Does not spare
A single soul

My Anger

My anger wants to kill.
My anger wants to spill.
My anger wants to smash a wall.
My anger wants to make someone feel small.
My anger makes me carve my skin.
My anger is locked up within.
My anger is fierce and fatal.
My anger isn't stable.
When my anger is out stay away.
Because my anger destroys everything in its way.

Brightest Star

You are the brightest star
That I always watch every night
How will you know?
How will you notice?
Brightest star.

You do not mind me
I always whisper your name to the wind
i always dream of reaching you
to touch you and kiss you
And even own you
Yet how can I? I do not have the wings
I do not have a heavenly soul

You never notice me
O! Bright star!
So High and so bright
In the black sky and space
That own you

You always live there
And thrive in its black bosom
With the moon

On this day
I dream of becoming the sun
So I may have the power
To forget you

Veronica (My loving dog I miss you so much.)

The most beautiful star in the sky
A star that looks down on me
That star shines brighter then light
Very loving you are, and love you
I do.

You my wonderful delight
A star magical
Shine and shine my loving star
My star is always with me.

So special to me
Way out in space
The brightest star in the sky
O star, how I miss you.

I miss you, my dear friend
I see you light in the night
Shining very bright
The most beautiful star
On the sky.

Sirius

Sirius shines
the dog star
low in the sky
the brightest star
revolving round
a small dark sun
which no man has ever seen
like a body
round a soul
or words
around a man
or a man
around his words
or a man
around a man
or words
around a soul
like a body
which no man has ever seen
a small dark sun
revolving round
the brightest star
low in the sky
the dog star
Sirius shines

The Roadblock In LIfe...

Anger, a spark, within all of us.
There, anger is lurking, waiting to
ignite the dynamite, that will
cause an explosion of words,
and actions, that can not be taken back.

Anger, is the roadblock, to anything
and everything, worthwhile in life.

Anger, seemingly an involuntary reaction,
to rejection of thought or action.

Anger, an interpretation, of unacceptable behavior.

Anger, almost always followed by regret.

Anger, an emotion. who's children are,
anxiety, fear, frustration, animosity, passion,
outrage and a thousands of other, emotionally
affecting articulations.

Anger, the replacement of reason.

What is the enemy of anger? The
enemy of anger, is, patience, understanding
and love.

Anger, the emotion, the world would be
far better off, without.

Anger fills my heart and soul

Anger fills my heart and soul
Anger takes a mighty toll
Anger lessens but can never leave
Anger you hope to never receive,
Anger stays forever within
Anger acts with the might of all sin
Anger is deadly to all around
Anger gets mad at the thought of sound
Anger is the thoughts in my head
Anger that’s mine all should dread
Anger for me is different from you
Anger you see tells me what to do
Anger will sit and whisper in my ear
Anger he sits and tells me all that you fear,

Anger…
He is here
He’s here to stay
Anger is the hole
In which we lay
Anger is
And Anger will
Always be with us

He is in me, and he is in you
He can make you do
What he wants you to
Anger will make you
Make you cry
Anger can make you
Want to die
Anger can make you
Go insane
Anger….. ... A blood filled rain
No more anger
No more…..
Walk to the bright light
Shinning through that door…
Not knowing what’s in store
But even then
Anger lives on
But you… nevermore

Anger is a strong burning poison of life

Anger is a strong burning poison of life
A brave man easily controls his anger,
In every walk of life it brings us danger,
Even though it divorces husband and wife,
Angry men and women lose consciousness,
They fight and fight wildly without thinking,
Good hearts are disturbed in deep sinking,
It makes them to argue in unconsciousness,
In anger a son tears the shirt of his father,
And his father angrily runs to the police-station,
To see this incident many people may gather,
They laugh and say, what an insulting situation!
Grandmother shouts, anger is a hot weather,
Anger, Anger, Anger, my son stop your destruction.

Names of the Constellations

All visible stars contained
within eighty-eight Constellations
- the Author claimed
names that intrigue
my Wandering but Meeting-bound Mind:
the Tarantula Nebula is in Dorado, the Goldfish
Hydra, the Water Snake is the largest constellation
while Crux, the Southern Cross is the smallest one
– a word of explanation:
the stars in Constellation have no relations
only sharing proximity in the sky
as seen from earth -
the brightest star is called Sirius
Canis Major, the Great Dog
the brightest star, the shining Lucida
in Orion, the Hunter, Rigel is called
while the brightest star in Carina, the Ship’s Keel
is known as Canopus -
with the names of the Constellations
I might just write my Magnum Opus!

A Star Deep In the Mind

I see a new star on the horizon;
It's not the Morning Star;
It's a star without light.
This star without the light is the brightest
Because its light stays within.
The biggest star doesn't take any space;
It lives within,
Feeds all other stars, all other matter.
Without space, there is no time,
Without time, there is no aging,
Without aging, there is no death.
A star without light never dies;
It cannot be seen in the outer space;
It can only be sensed in the mind.
