Behold A Great Tree Has Fallen

Behold, a protagonist breathed last
A fallen tree that cannot be re-planted
Alas, this is melanholic
For the caring father has gone
To abide in his permanent habitat gone to his home
The well deserved rest.

Something goeth wrong my people
Something elegiac goes beyond shedding of tears
Though unarguably, no one
Could fight fate when it was unfolded
For this has been predestined
By him that created the universe.

Dekko the birds, singing elegy
All singing songs that expresses melancholy
Perched precariuosly on the oil palms
In sober moods
They betrayed their bitter desires
In the obsequiese of the great protagonist.

Behold, sorrowful legs filled the street
Many trees weeping bloody tears
Birds avoid nestling
Behold snails hibernating
Women experiencing miscarriages
When this tragedy was let out.

Behold a rabbit in the midday
Alas the trees in prime shed of its leaves
The souls of the mourners
Kicking one feet with the other
Bereaved mouths singing elegiac songs
Oh creator! this is unprecedented
For this eternal departure hurt we the descendants.

Oh ye slumbers, this is regretable
A vulnerable episode
Told among the sympathizers
Paying condolent visits with pure obessance to fate
All in the souls of the bereaved
Everyone caught gnashing and groaning.

Ye men of sympathetic stand
Arise, emulate the defunct pathriach
For the day is knocking at one's door
Everyone to lie down and would decline in the morning stars
Behold the mission is acomplished
Several years spent in total respect to his creator
He has lived a live pool of hospitality in his contemporary days.

Oh! God Had we but world enough and time
After the emergence of one in this world of variance
We could have held him tight
Ipsofacto His creators are mortals
Who have happy and sorrowful life
But we know to vie with the mightiest is a waterloo
We say this is coherent with his fate.

Rise up ye men of slumbering hearts
Fortify thy nation against devilish attacks
Sleep in the toe of the nightguards
Be vigilant like a wathdog
For your enemies are wathing your infirmities.

Enough of this melancholy my people
Though the birds has flown
His destination is sure
The right hand of the great one
To home the well deserved rest.

The freedom cry

She used to live a happy life,
until a strange hand came and took her away.
She used to be free like the birds in the sky,
until one day, her freedom was set ablaze.
She used to feel the joy of life,
but now life feels like a plague.

She was taken far away,
very very far away
away from her her motherland
into a foriegn land to be a slave.
Now, her smiles have fade,
her joy misplaced.
Her cheerful heart is filled with tears,
for she is still very little in years.

Now, life seems meaningless
in hurts, life felt like hell.
She cry all day, even with no cloth to where
but there is none to wipe her tears.
She is no more treated with respect,
for her rulling days were ended.

Behold! See how the mighty have fallen,
the daughter of the great king is forgottten.
Not even her father's wealth could bring her back,
for she is nowhere to be found in the stranger's land.
Her hope faded, her fate lost
her joy ended, her heart void.

Her sorrowful days seems endless,
her dark days seems timeless.
Until one day her freedom cry was heard,
by that lovely stranger with so much beard
who had come from a beautiful city afar,
behold! He is the king's right hand.

Tears of joy rolled down her face,
smile on joy was once again seen on her eyes.
Behold! Back are the happy days,
for she's been saved by the freedom cry.

Behold the Glory of God's Creation

Behold the rocks atop the mountain stand,
And only fall when they should, when God wants!
Behold the waterfall, a beauteous sight,
That ne'er runs dry, despite the sun, failed rains!

Behold the melting glaciers, snow-clad peaks,
Bespeak the glory of the Creator;
Behold the rivulets merge into sea
To keep the salinity constantly!

Behold the school of fish that swim afree,
And dart and turn and glide within the sea;
Behold the birds that fly, both young and old,
At heights their wings are meant to carry them!

Behold the glory of God's creation -
A perfect spectacle for human eyes!
The proof of divine love for all mankind,
Unfathomable, everlasting lies!

Son Of Perdition

Behold the stars that shine above and on the beast newborn.
Behold the man who knows not love, just bitterness and scorn.
Behold the man of ill repute - his smiles that gleam and gleam.
Behold the man behind the suit - his hatred is extreme.
Behold the answers that he shares, his miracles and gifts.
Behold the economic scares and problems that he lifts.
Behold the dark tools of his trade, his sorceries and spells.
Behold the blasphemies displayed as if from poisoned wells.
Behold the leaders in his thrall, the slaves and armies, too.
Behold the devils at his call and what he made them do.
Behold the billions he controlled like puppets on their strings.
Behold the billions in his fold and kings his underlings.
Behold the horns upon his head to match his demon heart.
Behold the souls that he misled, the lives he tore apart.
Behold what God will send to Hell! Unsaved! No remission!
Behold what prophecies foretell... Lost son of perdition...

Canada to England

Great names of thy great captains gone before
Beat with our blood, who have that blood of thee;
Raleigh and Grenville, Wolfe, and all the free
Fine souls who dared to front a world in war.
Such only may outreach the envious years
Where feebler crowns and fainter stars remove,
Nurtured in one remembrance and one love
Too high for passion and too stern for tears.

O little isle our fathers held for home,
Not, not alone thy standards and thy hosts
Lead where thy sons shall follow, Mother Land:
Quick as the north wind, ardent as the foam,
Behold, behold the invulnerable ghosts
Of all past greatnesses about thee stand.

Sown Into Earth Adoration Love

there is no wilderness
when hearts return
home to primeval welcome

of landscapes echoing
with creation echoes
accept sun's rising

dawn accept sun's morning
light dew drops sparkling
accept stirs of all creatures

singing harmony of species
life purposes held weighted
in balance high noon behold

breeze wondering afternoon
mystical wanderings stretching
into sunset yellow red ribbons

spanning warm horizon
embraced light behold
night spun with myriads

of stars singing
cosmic galaxies
birth growth expansion

harmonies behold
smooth moon kissing
love song creation

sown
into earth
adoration love

Still I Marvel

still I marvel
at the chorus line
all those diverse choirs
different cultures
languages peoples
singing the same old songs

these great men
great women
so proud
so quick
to sing own praises
expressions
of admiration
in self worship

look here look there
at amazing monuments
I made I created I I I
I the great autocrat
ruler with absolute
authority incarnate

no place within my rule
to share glory with God
give thanks to eternal God

watch autocrats
crow then crawl
raised high cast low

singing the same old songs
behold my great works my marvels
all this I the great bla bla achieved

the great bla bla basked
in all the glory when all went well
suddenly when events conspire
to rock topple idolatry throne
all problems were fault of scapegoat
fault of religion fault of God

why blame God
when never his commandments
were followed?

Behold The Lamb

We are told to behold The Lamb, sent to the earth by the great I Am,
To behold the very Lamb of God, who will soon rule with an iron rod.
He was the Lamb not many knew, was sent to earth for me and you,
The One who left a Glorious Throne, only to be rejected by His own.

The Lamb who took away our sin, although none was found in Him.
Indeed the only blameless sacrifice, was the God Man Jesus Christ.
Behold God’s amazing sacrifice, given so we may have Eternal Life,
The Lord above paid the price, by giving His Only Son Jesus Christ.

Behold The Lord’s amazing Grace, sending His Son to take our place,
That upon a wicked bloody cross, as He purged us of our sinful dross.
Soon every eye will indeed behold, events that many scribes foretold,
When Christ that sacrificial Lamb, returns to earth as The Great I Am.

This time around every eye shall see, The Lord and God of all Eternity.
Every heart and knee will bend, when He comes back in victory friend.
Christ’s Kingship will not be denied, even by men who pierced His side.
They’ll behold The Prince of Peace, beginning a reign that won’t cease.

Soon we shall behold His Majesty, as believers, we enter into Eternity.
The Lamb, who died upon that tree, will reign forever with you and me.
For those wouldn’t take notice of, The Lamb that God sent from above,
Will never hear of or see again, The Lamb of God who died for all men.

The Sailor's Garden

There's a soft wind singing in the idle rigging,
High tide splashing, and a young pale moon,
Lights in a window and a fiddle jigging
Over and over there the same short tune.

Oh, was it the tide along the ship's side sighing,
Or was it the sighing wind that breaths and blows,
Came like a voice across the deep crying,
Set my heart a-thinking how my garden grows?

Five years ago it was I planted roses,
Five years ago (the bush is grown a tree):
Five years ago, and once I've seen my posies,
Five years ago - and once they bloomed for me!

I was home in Spring, bloom was in May then,
Birds all were building and buds were on the tree!
When the birds were flown, oh, I was far away then;
When the rose was open I was far at sea.

I was home in autumn; winds of cold November
Shaking the leaf that shivered on the tree;
Brown leaves that sighed of sorrow to remember
Flowers that had fallen and I far at sea.

Oh, many are the roads that lead you here and yonder,
Oh, many are the ways about the world that go;
But the longest way of all's the sailor's way to wander
To the good North Country and an Isle I know.

Oh, many are the winds about the seas a-singing,
Oh, many are the songs they sing both night and noon:
But whether it be good or ill that they come bringing
The best of all's the wind that blows us home in June.

Home, home in June - and soon to be a-going;
Home, home in June - we may not long remain;
Home, home in June, just to see the garden growing,
And then fare you well till you greet us home again.

To-morrow

The lighthouse shines across the sea;
The homing fieldfares sing for glee:
'Behold the shore!'
Alas for shattered wing and breast!
The lighthouse breakers make their nest,
And hedges bloom for them no more -
No more.

In their old church the lovers stand.
His wedding ring is on her hand,
All partings o'er.
Alas for mother still and cold
The babe her dead young arms enfold!
Her lover will know love no more -
No more.

What fate is this for birds and men?
The blue empyrean theirs - and then -
This fast-closed door.
One answers from his bended knee:
'Another morrow comes, saith he,
'A day that brings the night no more -
No more.'

Ah, happy one! Yet happier he
Who knows he knows not what will be;
Who has no lore
To read the runes of life and death,
But lives his best while he has breath,
And leaves with God the evermore -
The evermore.

The Place Of My Dreams

Nobody ever walked this path before
-before trees grew here nearly touching the sky,
I am alone safely inside a world of my own-
A world where only deer roam and birds fly about-
Cardinals, robins and sometimes
I believed I saw angels-
Angels singing in harmony with bird songs-
The wind would rustle the leaves upon the trees and
In the early summertime, cicadas would sing incessantly-
Incessantly and melodiously-
Only one day I heard a different sound-
The sounds of footsteps and children screaming,
Following closely behind me-
I would hide behind a tall oak tree and I would almost weep as
My solitude has been interrupted and
I am no longer safe as my private world had been invaded-
Nobody ever walked this path before until this day and
My dream has been transformed to a nightmare-
I am not safe in a world destroyed by the presence of strangers-
Cardinals, robins and cicadas are my friends and
Other people are my enemies whom I do not trust-
Following in my footsteps and trying to make eye contact,
To read the verses of the songs my mind composes?
I know I have seen angels and heard them singing, and
Birds chanting along with the gentle winds
Rustling the leaves upon the trees-
But now other people have discovered the path,
upon which I have walked alone,
And my secure space has become a public tenement-
I once believed nobody ever walked this path before,
This path to which I could escape reality and lose myself inside
The magnificent world of my delusions-now they have come to take me away and
To lock me inside this prison which I cannot escape?
I cannot hear the angels singing here and birds are seemingly far away-
Here I have lost myself inside my own world,
one so different and so frightening?
There are people here, so close to me, yet I feel so alone-
Although alone in a dangerous way- I am singing my own song,
Hoping that the angels can hear me and one day I shall be back in unison with nature,
Far away from intruders and singing in harmony with nightingales –
And once again, alone safely,
as I shall have abandoned the nightmare of reality,
Touching the sky in my dreams, dancing with angels as I listen to the cicadas chanting
Happily as they are lost inside the world of their fantasies, just as I wish to be…

Come hither, child, and rest,
This is the end of day,
Behold the weary West!

Sleep rounds with equal zest
Man's toil and children's play,
Come hither, child, and rest.

My white bird, seek thy nest,
Thy drooping head down lay,
Behold the weary West!

Now eve is manifest
And homeward lies our way,
Behold the weary West!

Tired flower! upon my breast
I would wear thee alway,
Come hither, child, and rest -
Behold the weary West!

Behold

Like morning's first light,
like the stars in the night
my love is a sight
to behold.

Like the heat of the sun,

My love is the one

Birds Bring Beauty

Birds, birds everywhere
flying through the sky without a care.
Reminding us how graceful life can be
as they fly from tree to tree.
Singing so very happily.
Singing songs of love and light
flying gracefully with delight.
Landing on their claws outstretched
landing in their straw filled nests.
Feeding their offspring worms from dirt
protecting them so they don't get hurt.
Pushing them to leave the nest
so they can fly like all the rest.
Flying high and flying low
they will be like their parents on the go.

Lo And Behold

I pulled out for San Anton',
I never felt so good.
My woman said she'd meet me there
And of course, I knew she would.
The coachman, he hit me for my hook
And he asked me my name.
I give it to him right away,
Then I hung my head in shame.
Lo and behold! Lo and behold!
Lookin' for my lo and behold,
Get me outa here, my dear man!
I come into Pittsburgh
At six-thirty flat.
I found myself a vacant seat
An' I put down my hat.
"What's the matter, Molly, dear,
What's the matter with your mound?"
"What's it to ya, Moby Dick?
This is chicken town!"
Lo and behold! Lo and behold!
Lookin' for my lo and behold,
Get me outa here, my dear man!
I bought my girl
A herd of moose,
One she could call her own.
Well, she came out the very next day
To see where they had flown.
I'm goin' down to Tennessee,
Get me a truck 'r somethin'.
Gonna save my money and rip it up!
Lo and behold! Lo and behold!
Lookin' for my lo and behold,
Get me outa here, my dear man!
Now, I come in on a ferris wheel
An' boys, I sure was slick.
I come in like a ton of bricks,
Laid a few tricks on 'em.
Goin' back to Pittsburgh,
Count up to thirty,
Round that horn and ride that herd,
Gonna thread up!
Lo and behold! Lo and behold!
Lookin' for my lo and behold,
Get me outa here, my dear man!

A World Without Birds

In years from now will the children of the future on warm evenings in the prime of Spring
On trees and bushes in groves, woods and parklands when flowers are blooming hear the wild birds sing
For a World without birds would be sad to live in and sad to learn that they are becoming rare
These are sad times for people who love Nature and who for Nature's creatures genuinely do care,
A World without birds to think of even painful something that one would not rather contemplate
For birds seem an integral part of Nature the poets and painters them do celebrate
They have been in the World for perhaps longer than humans they have evolved from the dinosaur age
Humans even use them for their entertainment they keep them in an aviary or a cage
But birds should never be held in captivity as Nature's creatures meant to live naturally
They are not meant to be captives of humans in Nature's World they should live wild and free
For bird lovers it must be disappointing to know their numbers are on the decline
So nice to hear them singing in the gardens when flowers are blooming in the Spring sunshine
The demise of birds the thought even unpleasant a sadder World without them it would be
They are so much an integral part of Nature at least that is how it does seem to me.

Early Spring

Spring seems to have come early this year- I have always welcomed blossoming flowers,
Longer days and the fresh warm air outdoors,
Perhaps the early timing exacerbated the fear, and is reminiscent of the
Time when my life took a turn towards terror and misery-
I saw a daffodil yesterday in full bloom- yet in the first week of February,
On that day, as in extreme frequency, my thinking was out of touch.

Today my heart is screaming, desperate for some peace and comfort,
While birds are singing outside as a gentle breeze blows as in a whisper,
Even trees are budding while everyone is laughing, although
My spirit is weeping as rage sears my gut, terrified of the world surrounding-

The pain of falling upon the hard ground this morning does not hurt me as much as
The agony I feel that emanates from all of the people that wish me harm-
Inside the world of my thoughts, everyone who is laughing is laughing at me- and
I would kill them all if I were not so afraid.

I am always shouting, though in silence at the cruel people that surround me,
No one can understand the severe pain of feeling persecuted every time that
I step outside and the inner irate confusion of
Not knowing what is real from what is not.

My heart and soul bleed anger and tears apart the person I am inside and
Even the gentle spring like breeze will not dry the tears I weep inside or outside,
I hardly know who I am anymore- the people in this world have threatened me and
As beautiful as all that surrounds me today- there is no place for me to hide.

The lone daffodil I see evokes a smile upon my face for the moment.
I would pick it and take it home with me but if I did,
It would wither and perish as has I believe my inner spirit has done,

Spring has always been my favorite time of year, although
Its arrival may be somewhat too soon, just as
I fear the death of my soul might have been premature-
I see myself as a lone flower that has blossomed in mid winter and
Is confused to be outside amongst shorter days, and barren trees,

If spring’s rain begins to fall my hope is that is shall wash away my tears and
Quench the flame that burns inside of me, then amidst longer days and that gentle breeze,
I can be as a bird, singing amongst other birds happy to be free of the rage that once
Separated me from the rest of the world as I lift my wings and fly high above the trees,
Looking down upon a world so exquisite which is no longer a threat to my existence?
