And philosophers ask is it possible knowingly to believe a lie

I might knock off writing now
And join friends in pursuit of holiday cheer,
But I choose to stay the course I find more comfortable.

A wave of satisfaction is my unearned reward,
Followed by - dare I call it joy?

Hope is a benignant thief.
We offer her our now,
But she dissects the plunder, carrying off
Our expectation of joy in this moment,
Leaving us the joy itself,
Which now may take us by ambush.

Chits we earn by today's effort
Are stowed for an ever-receding future.
To redeem them would be to know the hollow of their promise,
the disappointment of joy.

On our deathbeds, the habit of hope will be with us still
As with fond expectation, we anticipate timelessness.

Samuel Johnson

Hope is itself a species of happiness, and, perhaps, the chief happiness which this world affords: but, like all other pleasures immoderately enjoyed, the excesses of hope must be expiated by pain; and expectations improperly indulged must end in disappointment. If it be asked, what is the improper expectation which it is dangerous to indulge, experience will quickly answer, that it is such expectation as is dictated not by reason, but by desire; expectation raised, not by the common occurrences of life, but by the wants of the expectant; an expectation that requires the common course of things to be changed, and the general rules of action to be broken.

Fourth

expectation's hope rising, pulsing
as you bring the warmth and joy
that only a bright summer day
presents on a picnic blanket spread
filled with goodies and laughter
neatly packed away in a picnic basket

expectation's hope realising
as you take my hand in yours
thru the threshold of our home
prancing into the breeze and light
filled with memories and plans
lovingly packed for a rainy morn

expectation's hope resucitating
as your soothing breath caresses
taking my longings into belonging
perfecting inner transformation
filled with songs and dreams
movements in blissful harmony

What is Hope?

Never was a larger word
than Hope;
all dreams reside there;

In the Future,
resides our desires laid bare;
our Now wants to go there
our Past wants to be washed away
or celebrate there-
inside Hope's Cathedral.

Hope is the Promised Land.
both Means
and Destination.

But, what good does Hope do
if it goes away
after
what we hope for comes true?

Is there not another dream then
that Hope must then fulfill?

But, here we ask
what then is Hope itself?

Is it my Expectation Confident
that what I want
will come true?

Is it merely that Leap of Faith
that all that currently ails
will dissipate
in my hoped-for future state?

If all is risked on this single word
then we must know exactly
what it is;
for me
what is Hope's meaning for me?

Well the Expectation idea
that Hope is the confidence that
want I want will come true
is too much for me.
I don't have that kind of confidence
do you?

Nothing for me is ever for sure
not even Hope
itself
because, as we all know, Hope can
give way to Black Despair where
by definition Hope has gone
and fled.

Since no one can read our future states
we bob and weave between
hoping for hope
but fearing despair.

I rather like the Leap of Faith Idea
where we all make
the assumption that actions now,
will in future state,
pay off
and Hope will fulfill the expectations
we have placed there.

But note,
it is all too true that Hope
then is fully based
on Leaps of Faith
and then we ask
faith in what?

If all of Human-Kinds Hopes
distill from Human-Kinds Dreams
then upon what faith did cavemen
dream of a better world?

Upon a pagan God,
restless shadows on the cave wall,
incantations said and made?

But the pointed point here is
that our ancestors did have
blind faith in something which
caused them to feel that dreams
they dreamed
had some Hope of becoming Real
and that Hope
had to involve for them an enormous leap
beyond what they could see
in their lives then.

So Leaping then is what we do
even where there is no evidence
in reality that our dreams
however fervently held
will ever actually come true.

So Hope we see
is bound up with
Mystery
and Leapings
into Voids
with nothing more
than the belief
that in dreaming
it
we can make it come true-
be brought into reality.

Rather like writing a poem.

Humm, the moral here:
Nothing can be done
unless one
has the dream
and Hope
to make it so
and by hoping bring it
into reality.

This seems to be
the true History
of Human-Kind
at its best
and
at its
worse.

My Hope Is In You

Rise and shine.
Rise above the barriers.
Rise above conspiracy.
Rise, my hope is in you.

I hope for a better day,
Tomorrow...
I hope for a great weather,
Tomoroww...
I hope for joy and success,
Your success.
My hope is in you.
My hope is in you.

I hope peer pressure
Won't mislead you..
I hope you understand,
Fun doesn't mean, ,
VIOLENCE, RISK and DANGEROUS!

I hope you live up,
Not to my expectations,
But to your possible opportunities.

Just be a kid, , ,
And i'll be a caring parent.
Just listen, , ,
And i'll inspire you.

My hope for this country
Is in you.
For you are the future
Of the nation.

Choose education,
Choose alcohol and drug
Free life.
Choose success not sorrow.
Because my hope is in you.
My hope is in you.

Be robust and intrepid,
Be courageous and considerate,
Be wise and focus on your
Future because,
My hope is in you.

My Calling

Love, not expectation.
Expectation is having my hand out.
What can you give me?
What do I get?
That is expectation, which is motive.
Love is having my hands out.
The sacrifice of me.
Being nailed to a cross for another.
Arms wide open to give, myself.
Not to give myself credit,
But to give myself away.
Love is the ultimate embracing of life itself.
The reward for love is love.
Or did I expect something else?
The only thing I wish to perfect in my life,
Is my love.
I believe that to be my calling.

Hopes in Hopes

Hopes in Hopes

Hopes! what is this thing i hope for? is it a fantasy or a trick played by my mind.... at night i hope for things i imagined would someday become reality,
I hope that my imagination becomes reality, I hope that i dont have to hope to get the things i want.

But hopping in high expectation takes you a step forward, Hopes! , dreams are buit on hope, every moment i hope, i cant stop hopping! , but i cant help to think that hopes makes a person archived greater things, it helps a person think high, it helps a person taking higher step in life.

i hope this will be useful to people who hopes to find thier expectations, hopes are your dreams.

Dare I Hope?

Dare I hope to hope?
Is it safe? Is it right?
Am I hoping for nothing
But a black and empty night?

Hope should make me happy.
I should laugh, sing, and dance
Because I am hoping. Right?
Ha! Not a chance.

How is it that hope can leave me
Trembling in the darkness?
How is it that something so “good”
Should leave me feeling helpless?

Dare I hope to hope?
What difference does it make?
Fate will be fate in the end,
It will either “make or break.”

Does Fate regard my hope?
Does She listen? Or care?
Am I shooting for a star that
Simply isn’t there?

I cannot know! Oh, God
Why must I struggle with
This doubt that pulls at me
Rends me, limb from limb?

What sort of hope leaves pain
Where it should instead leave joy?
Is this hope at all? Or perhaps
Some wicked demon’s ploy?

I cannot know! Dear heaven!
How can I even begin to dare
To hope for something – anything?
Is no assurance there?

No promise? No guarantee?
I cannot stand it! I cannot!
The doubt is a plague
In my every thought.

Dare I hope to hope
In a hope that leaves me dry
And lost? How can I dare
To hope in hope? How can I?

One day at a time

One day at the time we will finally prevail,
We might hope for the best though the worst come forth, never giveup because that's how this life challenges our objectives.

Never make the life you live this moment an excuse to your failures because struggle isn't a place you been to, you might be born in poverty yet you stand the expedition of the future you lead.

Burden is an illusion we mankind refuse to overcome, most of us are living for the moment,
I guess it's true when they say,
'teeth do not see poverty',
I hope one day we will finally resolute.

It's our duty to surpass the illusion we call an obstacle by having dreams and goals to better our future, because your tomorrow begins with the choice you make today.

One day at a time we will finally prevail,
They say education is the key to success I never deny it though I believe an intellectual mind is the key to your better life, never choose friends who are denigrate but delegate and never become reluctant because if you believe you will become who you intend to be.

Hope is the light that follows the dark on every new day
Hope is the right track on the path of life that leads the way

Hope is the pleasure u get from your lovers kiss
Hope is moment your in his arms and it feels like bliss

I hope...

I Wish You well...
I hope you find yourself..
I hope you will find the love of your life..
I hope he makes you happy..
I hope you have someone that understands you..
like you want them to..

I hope through thick and thin he'll stay by your side..
Making sure you're all right..
not letting a tear fall..
nor let a smile turned upside down..

I wish you well..
I hope you find yourself..
I hope your family wont harm you..
I hope your mom is okay..
I hope that you are happy..
every step of the way.

I wish you well..
I hope you find yourself...

Call It Evil (demo)

I've been around watching little late shows
Drink a lot of beer
Like playing cards with my friends
Call it evil
Call it pain
It goes knock, knock, knock-knock-knock-knock, on my door
It goes knock, knock, knock-knock-knock-knock, on my door
That rock and rock, yeah, call it evil
That rock and rock, yeah, call it evil
Knock, knock, knock, knock, knock, knock, on my door, Yeah!
Knock, knock, knock, knock, knock, knock, on my door
Going to get as my babe.
It goes knock, knock, knock, knock, knock, knock, on my door
Playing sopwith in the back of my head
What you trying to be crazy?
People look at me, they look at me, but you're dead
Call it evil
Call it pain
It goes knock, knock, knock-knock-knock-knock, on my door
It goes knock, knock, knock-knock-knock-knock, come on
Knock-knock-knock-knock, one more
Knock-knock-knock-knock
That rock and rock, yeah, call it evil
That rock and rock, yeah, call it evil
Knock, knock, knock, knock, knock, knock, on my door
Knock, knock, knock, knock, knock, knock, on my door
Knock, knock, knock, knock, knock, knock, on my door
Knock, knock, knock, knock, knock, knock, on my door

Difficult To Quit If One Is Wishing They Could

Accustomed to being good,
It spoils the anticpation.

The first time in the getting of it,
Is the best remembered.

And from there and when repeated,
The expectation is just to get that fix.

With a quieting done that comes to one,
Addicted to a habit and getting it quick.

Satisfying a habit gratified automatically,
Is difficult to quit if one is wishing they could.

With a quieting done that comes to one,
Addicted to a habit and getting it quick.

And from there and when repeated,
The expectation is just to get that fix.

The first time in the getting of it,
Is the best remembered.

Accustomed to being good,
It spoils the anticpation.

Hope At It's Strongest

Hope is the thing that keeps us going
Hope is a poem without any words
Hope is what follows us everyday
Hope is the light that sparks our eyes

Hope that it will all get better
Hope that you will find love
Hope that people will be kind
Hope that you will stay alive

Hope is the strongest thing of all
Hope will allow us not to fall
Hope will rise against anything
Hope is like a fiery ring

Hope never stops
Hope is always there
Without it we would be lost
Without out it we would not care

Were There Hope

I was never in a league of noble gentlemen
To whom she'd cast polite and flitting smiles,
Only distant hope and dying dreams for me!
Or perhaps descent into a game of wiles

To give a chance of sipping wine on heady nights
With her angelic presence to declare;
Above, an aura playing out hypnotic hues,
And I in awe of blonde cascades of hair.

But no! my tiring soul is sinking in a mire
To haunt me for an age and evermore, for
How could I expect to hold her silken hand
When I am but a soulless ghost of yore?

Ignoti Hominibus Noti Deo

fashionable heart forecast the shadow of the future,
a bright twilight that make every paths know that leads
to the burning endless pain of flame

viewed as you see the memory lend a timing chain
that point to the beautiful star, a heroes where no
one ever touch the fuming zooming ooze of victory of
the passing day, before a little stay of today’s moment
to remember, until tomorrow’s past gain with me

like a precious step walks in the line of wonderful
moment of today, shivering, and hunting the pinnacle
of what is best for a given life, everything gone and
something has made for the show has to go on, beyond
expectation of any men

chant my echo, sing the lullaby of the baby’s breathe,
the blooming Cherry blossom sprouted like a Lilies in
the seabed’s of beautiful harmony of history, within the
harbor of brave and honor cavaliers of Soldiers grave

believe no doubt of expectation, it’s blind and had just
open the memory of great unknown to men, but known
to God

live the victory in your laurel hand and die so others
will be free ……

“Unknown to men, but known to God’ …..the waited
Soldiers lost in the memory of freedom…this poem is
