And Angels cried...

Thud! , sends a nerve racking sound
the last to be made by you
as you begin your thousand years of silence
send forth by the words of the priest.

Wreathes; no more roses with 'I love you' cards
nor cheers with glasses of wine on anniversary days
only in memoriams with a stick of flower.

Tears; that is all you have left me
together with joyful memories turned sad
for I have nothing more to give other than the ashes in hand.

Rains; tell the tale of this very sad day
an irony, for it was the first nature's force
to approve of our relationship
now the last to end it
for it bears the tears of the angels too.

A Thought For Your Anniversary

Don't count your decade
By the days that fade
Don't count your years
By the falling tears

Don't count your weeks
By the days that were bleak
Don't count your days
By the trouble's ways

Instead count your decades
By the things you have made
Count your years
By joys and cheers

Count your weeks
When you helped out a meek
And count your days
By cheers and prayers

That was sent for both of you
Along with God's love that is true
Because you're starting another year
Of peace and blessings, love and care.

Happy 4th Anniversary Sister

Deepest Depression (revised)

Staring at the walls...at the pictures that hang there
each photo...of it all
each step of our relationship..that started, with lust, wanting and care
the last picture that is hung
showing the ultimate happiness, of us being in love
I GET THE DEEPEST DEPRESSION
just staring at these things...
the photos on the wall
and the finger that holds my engagement ring

looking around the room, looking at it all
now just filled with dread, n, doom
the dieing roses in the crystal vase
marks the symbol..of the day
when it all was lost, n, went away
the photo album that we made
starts with the pictures of our 1st date, where it started
the last picture is of us, in love
3 days, b4 love was departed
is of the day you proposed, look at it, we are so in love

a red box that had matched
the teddy bear with the red herat attached
in which you gave to me b4 the proposal, inside it held the ring
to unite our love, to bring
us 2gether, from now til 4ever
I GET THE DEEPEST DEPRESSION
JUST LOOKING AT THESE THINGS
the 2 wine glasses,4m which we drank, sealing the deal
a begining to our new fate
n to our proposal, we gave, love cheers, and thanks

the card thats hung,4m the dieing flowers in theyre crystal vase
that you gave.....to me..b4 you kneeled onto 1 knee
uttering the most 4 words a man can say...
all of it is now gonn..just taken away
just in such a short time....3 damn days
I GET THE DEEPEST DEPRESSION
JUST HOLDING THESE THINGS....
the pictures, the wine glass
the teddy bear with the red heart attached
the photo album, the 1st photo, in which we started
the courtship, that blossomed into a beautiful relationship

the last photo, hung on the wall...its left me so broken hearted
the cards i kept in a shoe box, from you, giving to me through
no reason @ all, my birthday, holidays, n anniversary
each card filled with words of love, each card, having its own diversity
I GET THE DEEPEST DEPRESSION
JUST HOLDING, N, TOUCHING, OR LOOKING AT ALL OUR THINGS
to the life we had, the home we made
that just vanished...poof, went away.....
DEEPEST DEPRESSION OVER EVERYTHING....
ESPECIALIALLY THE FINGER THAT WEARS MY ENGAGEMENT RING.....

Christmas? Cheers

Christmas is a time of focussed energy
Expectations of happy moments
Phone calls to distant relatives
Cards with greetings and happy thoughts
Hope for reconciliation and love
Peace descending like a dove

All our plans for meals in and out
Parties and works do’s funny hats
Send some money to sons and daughters
Buy little gifts for friends and acquaintances
Write charity cards with similar greetings
Arrange for endless lunchtime meetings

This sounds like a joyful time
Everyone you meet tells the same tale
Glad when it’s over and normal service resumed
Perhaps we go to a church service at midnight
Pray for a new start the lord will provide
A year full of errors and hurt put aside

No matter what we hope for this time of year
Tragedy strikes the heart of someone we know
Or to ourselves why is this so
I’m counting five now with one in between
Heartbreak and sorrow for four of these
One filled with love and happiness please

It’s the anniversary of many things
The awareness that another year has gone by
One year older but next year will be better
I listen to my soul sing the familiar song
With hope and promise of no more tears
I’ve love to give and Christmas Cheers

Come Join The Abolitionists

Come join the Abolitionists,
Ye young men bold and strong.
And with a warm and cheerful zeal,
Come help the cause along;
O that will be joyful, joyful, joyful,
O that will be joyful, when Slavery is no more,
When Slavery is no more.
'Tis then we'll sing, and offerings bring,
When Slavery is no more.

Come join the Abolitionists,
Ye men of riper years,
And save your wives and children dear,
From grief and bitter tears;
O that will be joyful, joyful, joyful,
O that will be joyful, when Slavery is no more,
When Slavery is no more,
'Tis then we'll sing, and offerings bring,
When Slavery is no more.

Come join the Abolitionists,
Ye dames and maidens fair,
And breathe around us in our path
Affection's hallowed air;
O that will be joyful, joyful, joyful,
O that will be joyful, when woman cheers us on,
When woman cheers us on, to conquests not yet won.
'Tis then we'll sing, and offerings bring,
When woman cheers us on.

Come join the Abolitionists,
Ye sons and daughters all
Of this our own America-
Come at the friendly call;
O that will be joyful, joyful, joyful,
O that will be joyful, when all shall proudly say,
This, this is Freedom's day-Oppression flee away!
'T is then we'll sing, and offerings bring,
When freedom wins the day.

All That's Left

All that’s left
Are two chairs
Empty wine glasses
And a slice of chocolate cake

Mosquitoes now swarm like memories
Over an unfinished dream
We were there
Two people
On two chairs
Wine and chocolate cake

It’s late now
Bamboo patches dark and dangerous
We left in laughter
Came in tears
Two people
Two glasses and chocolate cake
Our words like colours
On an empty canvass

After All These My Sweet

after all these
i will leave a stare at you
you are still sweetly
asleep in bed

i rise and wear back
my pair of pants
and you hear the sound
of the brushed wall
you open your eyes
to see a naked soul
fitting back to its warm body

and you give me back that stare
that shall make me guilty of
betrayal

you tears fall
and i put my hand on your
mouth
trying to cover a certain emptiness
that was not yet there before

i begin to wipe those tears
away from your cheeks

after all these
i ask you
to give me the beauty of silence

i will keep my lips sealed too
like the way you have sewn
my torn white handkerchief
when we first met

i shall leave you memories
sparkling like champagne
sweet as grapes

we both shall remember all these
but only for a while
for soon we shall bury all these
to the sands of time

you are inside and between us
this big and thick wall
of ontological indifference

i am outside now
and the world sends me that usual
smile

Years of Tears

Years of tears for no ears to hear, lonely for years am I
Years of tears for no ears to hear in silence they dropp and die
Years of tears, hidden deep, I cannot weep, nor cry.
Years of tears, for many fears of dying alone, I sigh.
Years of tears which no one hears as many years go by.
Years of tears in the lonely sky, my tears grow wings and fly.
Years of tears, my smile shines, through its little lines, I lie.
Years of tears, my somber peers through my melancholy eye
Tears of tears, Years of Years, in my soul, I tie.
Years of tears for no ears to hear my tears weep goodbye….

Ten Thousand Angels Cried

Stillness Filled The Heavens On Crucifixion Day
Some Say It Rained I Don't Know If It's True
Well I Can Just I'magine Ten Thousand Angels Cried
That Would Seem Like Rain To Me And You

The Angels All Stood Ready To Take Him From The Tree
They Waited For The Words From His Voice
And When He Asked The Father Why Has Thou Forsaken Me
They Watched The Saviour Die Of His Own Choice

I've Never Seen Ten Thousand Angels Cry
But I'm Sure They Did
As They Stood By
And Watched The Saviour Die

God Turned His Head Away
He Couldn't Bear The Sight
It Must Have Looked Like Rain
When Ten Thousand Angels Cried

As The Sun Slipped Away
The Skies Turned To Grey
And When Jesus Gave His All
That's When The Tears Began To Fall

I've Never Seen Ten Thousand Angels Cry
But I'm Sure They Did
As They Stood By
And Watched The Saviour Die

God Turned His Head Away
He Couldn't Bear The Sight
It Must Have Looked Like Rain
When Ten Thousand Angels Cried

It Must Have Looked Like Rain
When Ten Thousand Angels Cried

The Irony of Love

Irony is a literary or rhetorical device.
The essayist Henry Watson Fowler wrote:
“any definition of irony
—though hundreds might be given,
and very few of them would be accepted—
must include this,
that the surface meaning
and the underlying meaning of
what is said are not the same.'
He left out that any definition of
Irony must include that it is cruel.

I never understood
The meaning of irony
Or how cruel it can be,
Until you told me,
That though you may love me,
You find it difficult to
Hear the words
“I love you” from me.

You see, some three years ago
You jokingly said
'I love you' to me,
And I begged you
Never to utter those words again.
Not because I did not want to hear them,
But because they were difficult for me.
They carried heart-felt consequences
That I did not want to face.
So, I shut out my heart and followed my head.
And in life filled with so many regrets,
It was the biggest mistake I ever made.

The irony,
After some thousand days have past,
You uttered the same
Imprudent sentiment to me.
This sentiment is the definition of irony –
The surface meaning
And underlying meaning are not the same.
Because although I asked you not to say
“I love you”,
It is all I wanted to hear.

The cruelty,
That now that heaven has at last
Blessed, cursed me with
Clarity of the heart,
And I want to say what I mean
With no different underlying sentiment,
You tell me you do not
Want to hear these words from me.

But the most ironic and cruelest part,
Will be,
If you make the same mistake I made
And keep from me what is within your heart.

Silence

Silence

I get nothing to say
When my tears became dry
Since you've denied
My love that reached the sky.

And what are you awaiting for
After you've left and exist no more.

All what you can get is Silence.
For words left my service.
And went to serve the vices,
When my tongue to the heart failed to give advice.

Silence can speak of my pains more
Than you from my lips are awaiting for.
Silence can tell you
Now i 'll not forgive you.

Cry when your eyes meet my eye
That silence can make you die
And summons severe tears into your eye
By my heart Silent cry.

Laughter Turns To Tears

Makeup on your shoulder silence in the air
Tonight those telltale signs are everywhere
As you lay beside her talkin' in your dreams
The game is up and laughter turns to tears
Every time you phone her with a dumb excuse
She starts to think that she's outgrown her use
You'll be home by midnight workin' late it seems
The penny drops and laughter turns to tears
Do you think she's crazy
Don't you think she knows
Do you think she's taken in
Don't you think it shows
When laughter turns to tears
Laughter turns to tears
You can send her roses say she's lookin' great
You can talk of love but it may be too late
You may think she's jokin' as her laughter teems
But with tears
And laughter turns to screams
chorus
Now it won't be easy
Finding words to say
how you really feel inside
You take the game away
When laughter turns to tears
Laughter turns to tears
One day it's gonna shake you up
Take you by surprise
Someday it's gonna wake you up
Tears in your eyes
When laughter turns to tears
Laughter turns to tears x2

Send Her My Love

Its been so long
Since Ive seen her face
You say shes doin fine
I still recall
A sad cafe
How it hurt so bad to see her cry
I didnt want to say good-bye
Send her my love, memories remain
Send her my love, roses never fade
Send her my love
The same hotel, the same old room
Im on the road again
She needed so much more
Than I could give
We knew our love could not pretend
Broken hearts can always mend.
(chorus)
Callin out her name Im dreamin
Reflections of a face Im seein
Its her voice
That keeps on haunting me
Send her, send her my love
Roses never fade
Memories remain
Send her, send her, my love

A Baby Cry! ...16th Feb 1948

The Indian ocean, the untouched green, the blue sky.

Came a vibrating sound of a new born..a softness a dainty cry

Soon the clock, insensitive so.. ticked on, the days whizzed by

My hair, a silvery streak, fingers numbed and gracefully aged

I dwell into areas where thoughts lead me to freely uncage

I gently turned the delicate pages, back in time and with a sigh

B'days, moments, many captured, never struggled to survive

Living the days gone by with variable memories so alive...

Family, friends, near and far off in many a distant lands

Surely do make this earthly stay a four seasonal land

Laughter, tears, cheers, a beauty, the warmth that life can hold

As a new dawning day begins, another year about to unfold.

Six decades and years three, made those colourful days

We shared together a journey, life long... come what may!

Now a blessing for each candle, that you proudly blow,

Hopefully be sparkling today and many years forever more

Health peace and may you be filled with a wonderland

Children, grand children, together holding..hand in hand!

First visitors to Adam and Eve

Christina thought that the lamb
and the dove
were sent to Adam and Eve
as preachers from God above
as tokens of His love
when they had to leave
the Garden of Eden
and was driven out
by angels with flaming swords

but I think sweet Eve had words
with the angels first and displaying
her well rounded behind
covered by deer skin
and looking so innocent
and yet luring
with her well rounded breasts
that the angels wondered what was sin
and where did truth and lie
mingle in?

Maybe a dog was the first
to find its master
after that great disaster
and wagging its tale
came running
as if nothing that humans did
made any difference
to the relationship
that it held with them.

Maybe beautiful Eve
saw a butterfly landing
on a flower near her
and then was touched
by its soft wings
caressing her, before it fluttered
away on the wind

and still I have to agree
that God held His hand over them
promising to send His Son
and the lamb and the dove
were only signs
of His everlasting love and grace
for the human race.

Edgar Lee Masters

Reuben Pantier

Well, Emily Sparks, your prayers were not wasted,
Your love was not all in vain.
I owe whatever I was in life
To your hope that would not give me up,
To your love that saw me still as good.
Dear Emily Sparks, let me tell you the story.
I pass the effect of my father and mother;
The milliner's daughter made me trouble
And out I went in the world,
Where I passed through every peril known
Of wine and women and joy of life.
One night, in a room in the Rue de Rivoli,
I was drinking wine with a black-eyed cocotte,
And the tears swam into my eyes.
She though they were amorous tears and smiled
For thought of her conquest over me.
But my soul was three thousand miles away,
In the days when you taught me in Spoon River.
And just because you no more could love me,
Nor pray for me, nor write me letters,
The eternal silence of you spoke instead.
And the black-eyed cocotte took the tears for hers,
As well as the deceiving kisses I gave her.
Somehow, from that hour, I had a new vision --
Dear Emily Sparks!

I Can See It In Your Eyes

The first time I saw you
I felt weak inside
I search my heart and mind
For words I couldn't find.
Some how you seemed to see
What came over me that night
As a love began to grow
That would last for all time.
And you said, ''I can see it in your eyes
They're the windows to your soul
Sometimes they say more
Than words could ever hope.''
''We could wait a thousand lifetimes
Then never feel like this again
But when you look at me, that way
I can see it in your eyes.''
Later on I asked your hand
And I prayed the time was right
I knelt down on one knee
And said, ''Would you be my bride?''
Then the sound of silence
Filled the air as your tears fell
With mine, you didn't have to say
A word for me to realize.
And I said, ''I can see it in you eyes
They're the window to your soul.''
''I see dreams come alive
And future plans unfold.''
''I could wait a thousand lifetimes
Then not find a perfect love again.''
''When you look at me, that way
I can see it in your eyes.''
Many years have come and gone
And what a life we've made
Now again we search for words
As the heart inside me breaks
Until death do we part
Were the vows we made
And now the time has come
But goodbye's so hard to say.
But I can see it in your eyes
They're the windows to your soul
The light of life is burning but
Soon you're leaving me, I know
But time that's left is precious dear
So please don't shed another tear
You don't have to say a word
I can see it in your eyes.
I've heard you say a thousand times
I'll love you dear, until I die
But you don't have to say a word
I can see it in your eyes...

Send Me No Wine

Send me no wine
To make an invitation.
Leave me no time
In your imagination.
Only to find
Words in your mind
Theyre gonna make you, leave your,
Leave your heart behind.
Send me, send me no wine,
To send my love away.
Send me, send me no wine,
To send my love away.
(for) once in my life
I need no conversation.
All of my time
Ill spend in fascination.
Give me my love,
With you in my life.
If only everybody
Found the answer in love.
Send me, send me no wine,
To send my love away.
Send me, send me no wine,
To send my love away.

Heaven I Need A Hug

Heaven send one of your Angels down from above,
To show me which way to go, and shower me with their love,
Heaven send one of your Angels because their help is needed,
so I can fight this battle, without being defeated,
Heaven send one of your Angels to carry me in their arms, to keep me away from all saddness and Satans harm,
Heaven send one of your Angels to wipe my tears away,
Because I cry everyday,
Heaven send one of your Angels down from above,
Because Heaven, I really need a Hug.

PaSSioN FLoWeR

He was a young lad
Endless dreams she had

She was a flowered rose
She made all sacrifices to make him her spouse

For days, he was the Helios
Without him, she was in pathos

The white dress she wears
No matter how living; there are no fears
Love could un-shed all her tears…

Even on removing the white dress
It seems that the life was full of gladness

In the times before the wedding
Life was as sweets as pudding

Now the time of the vow has gone
She removes the white dress
And is forced into love’s black dress
The life seems full of stress
The gentleman removed the mask of softness and gentleness…

He was showing her his flair
But it was a built castle in the air

Passion Flower she has become
She bathes on a sad realm

She wears a heart of mourning
Passion Flower is crying

'''''From Zenith to Nadir I letdown
Just prayers and pleas I own'''''

Her eyes are in perplexity
All things developed to complexity
The white dress was forsaken leaving obscurity
And finished are the days of serenity and tranquility

What a pity! ! ! ! ! ! !

Little by little, Passion Flower has faded away
My Passion Flower is wilted and is fading away

Little by little, Passion Flower has bowed to the sadness
Little by little, Passion Flower has bent to the faintness

Her Heaven turned into haziness
Her Bliss turned into darkness
Her Dreamland turned into fogginess
Her Paradise turned into distress

For the sake of her children she is fighting
Really now, there is no more lighting…

Pretty Passion Flower
May ALLAH send you power
To pull up your thorn
Pretty Passion Flower
May ALLAH send you power
To stay nice in your cocoon

May ALLAH send you Peace
To live your life at ease
Without any male disease...

Pretty Passion Flower please keep scenting
For the sake of your Angels, Love and care try sending

Pretty Passion Flower please don’t be withered
Pretty Passion Flower you wrongfully suffered
But, ''Pretty Passion Flower please don’t be withered! ’'

From now on he is far! ! !
Free from his pain you are…

Tears of Joy!

Tears of joy I will cry for you, let my love flow eyes for all to see!
Tears of joy I will be your happiness, I will be there to erase them for you!
Tears of joy, I will be for you, through good and bad times we share!
Tears of joy I will be your shining light forever you're my burning desire!
Tears of joy I will kiss my beautiful angels face, never to let go!
Tears of joy I will hold your hand, and we will make a solid stand!
Tears of joy I will walk beside you never to be alone my dear!
