All she wants to do is be free mirror

Imprints of bloody hands stain the glass as I look at the mirror
My wounds are deep inside for everyone to see
If they even cared

A girl who cries for no reason
Who knows her anger is rising inside of her
Her soul is tainted

All she wants to do is be free mirror
This is what I see inside the other side of the mirror
As I stand there looking

The blood stains on her run from her heart to waist in the reflection
Tasting the stained blood which turned to the stained un-pure blood
Of the torment, pain, and lies

Her mouth opens up to say something
But bubbles escape only
Trapped inside the mirror as I peer inside

This is what I see on the other side of the mirror

Mirror, Mirror, Bloody Fibber

Mirror, mirror, on the wall,
Can't you show me tall and slim?
Mirror, mirror, on the wall,
Must I look so bloody grim?

Mirror, mirror, on the wall,
You're distorting my poor waist!
Mirror, mirror, on the wall,
And why the heck am I defaced?

Mirror, mirror, on the wall,
Why have I a double chin?
Mirror, mirror, on the wall,
And what's the stupid, goofy grin?

Mirror, mirror, on the wall,
Pointless asking ‘Who’s the fairest? –
More bloody likely, 'Who’s the queerest? ’
Now look, I paid a big bucks for thee,
So why can’t you be nice to me?

Mirror, mirror, on the wall,
Who’s the fairest of them all?
Me, you say? Ah, that's better –
Mirror, mirror, bloody fibber!

Broken Images, Distorted Views

Every mirror tells a tale,
My mirror is a memory I do not wish to tell

Eery reflection has a story yet to be told,
They say the mirror never lies, but that's all my mirror ever sold

Look Into the reflective piece of glass, that mirror, pool or lake,
Gaze into the lie and realise that it's fake

Oh you look so classy in the mirror, but take a look inside,
Your body spins a different song, there's things your eyes can not hide,

Now I use a different mirror, one that doesn't lie,
Mirror Mirror in the sky, look down in judgement from up high

Give me the facts, tell me the truth,
Strip away the layers of lies, right back to my youth,

The image I see in the mirror is not good enough, it just won't do,
The person starring back is perfect, but I'm just not you.

Mirrowindom

Mirror Mirror Behind my wall
Who will catch me when I fall?
There will be no one to lend me a hand
I'll be Grey, Black and Blue when I land.

Mirror Mirror Can you see?
The sadness and Loneliness inside of me
Eating me away, from the inside
Is it wrong or right for me to hide?

Mirror Mirror When will it end?
When will me head begin to mend?
Why can't I ever be allowed to be me?
Then and only then will I be able to see.

Mirror Mirror Why are you there?
Blinding my sight without a care
Change into a window so i can see through you
And say to myself, Hey! I knew that I knew you.

The Mirror Struggled

The mirror struggled; reflecting beauty such as hers
Prescribed a glory in the challenge – a fairytale
Or such as like! To shimmer back hypnotic hues
From auras of her skin – how do mirrors cope?
Hoary tales of pretty adolescent buds
Could never hope to match the tomes of dreamy
Pulchritude apprising us of such a belle as she.

The mirror shone; and as it worked itself, a moment –
Did it overlook the hidden melancholy?
Were melting eyes bedewed–? Florid lips imbued
With mournfulness? The hindrance of the silver glass!
Oh! to seek – to know the meaning of the sorrow!
She (with tearful hair, an image out of heaven)
Never opened up her heart. The mirror struggled.

Depicting Reflection

I gaze at the looking glass one final time
As I hope for some veritable truth to find
But the cracks run along my face in jagged lines
As the mirror cracks from side to side

Peering into the cold, dark faceted eyes
A broken poppet stares back from inside
And I catch a reflection of that I despise
As the mirror cracks from side to side

The scarred reflection is now forsaken
And many are the times my heart has died
But now it is my soul that is breakin'
As the mirror cracks from side to side

I gaze at the looking glass one final time
As the mirror cracks from side to side

Mirror To Mirror

Written by gerry beckley, 1994
Found on hourglass.
I havent seen forever
Dont even know her name
I call on dreams and other schemes
To try and win that game
Now that its over, darling
Look into my eyes
Seein your own reflection
Much to your surprise
Were seein mirror to mirror
Face to face
We look but we cannot see
Mirror to mirror
Seems to trace
What happened to you and me
And though we tried in earnest
The distant silence yells
We call on wings and other things
To try and break that spell
Now that its over, darling
Truth in the common cause
We stare at our own indifference
By seeing the others flaws
Were seein mirror to mirror
Face to face
We look but we cannot see
Mirror to mirror
Seems to trace
What happened to you and me
Oh, mirror to mirror, mirror to mirror
Mirror to mirror, whats come over me
As we look inside, theres nowhere to turn
Theres nowhere to hide
Now that its over, darling
Look into my eyes
Seein your own reflection
Much to your surprise
Were seein mirror to mirror
Face to face
We look but we cannot see
Mirror to mirror
Seems to trace
What happened to you and me
Oh, mirror to mirror, mirror to mirror
Mirror to mirror, whats come over me
Mirror to mirror, mirror to mirror
Mirror to mirror, whats come over me

Mirror, Mirror

(m. sembello/d. matkowsky)
Mirror, mirror
On the wall
You said you had the answers to it all
You never told me Id take a fall
Mirror, mirror
On the wall
You, you turned my life
Into a paperback novel
Words that come to life
Inside your little melodrama
Chapter one
When I was young
I came to you with my problems
Chapter two
You promised me love
And anything that I desired
Tell me mirror, mirror on the wall
thought you said you had the answers to it all
Never told me I was gonna take a fall
Tell me mirror, mirror on the wall
You have nailed my heart
Upon the wall for your pleasures
You have cast a spell
That cannot ever be broken
And now
My eyes grow tired
I watch my picture getting older
But i
Remain the same
Trapped in this mirror forever
Tell me mirror, mirror on the wall
thought you said you had the answers to it all
You never told me I was gonna take a fall
Tell me mirror, mirror on the wall
I talk to you each night
And I follow your advise
Youve been wrong
Whats the price I have to pay
For this fairy tale thing called love?
Let me go!
Tell me mirror, mirror on the wall
thought you said you had the answers to it all
Never told me I was gonna take a fall
Tell me mirror, mirror on the wall
Tell me mirror, mirror on the wall
thought you said you had the answers to it all
Never told me I was gonna take a fall
Tell me mirror, mirror on the wall
Let me go
Mirror, mirror
Mirror, mirror
Mirror, mirror
Mirror, mirror
Tell me mirror, mirror on the wall
thought you said you had the answers to it all
Never told me I was gonna take a fall
Tell me mirror, mirror on the wall
Tell me mirror
Tell me mirror
Tell me mirror
Tell me mirror

Mirror Mirror

Mirror mirror
You tell lies
Who put crows feet
Round my eyes?

Mirror mirror
Hanging there
Who put that grey
In my hair?

Mirror mirror
Is that me
Is that really
Me I see?

Mirror Mirror
Stop your fun
That's not me
That is my mum

Mirror mirror
Don't stare back
For it's bad luck
If you should crack

Mirror mirror
On days like these
When what I see
Doesn't please

Mirror mirror
My mood this day
Will ask you turn
The other way!

Am looking in the mirror and not reconizing what i see
Am looking in the mirror and seeing a scared lil girl

Mirrors…..

Take a look in the mirror and realize what you see..
Is it really you or someone you cannot be..
What you say in the mirror, is what the mirror tells..
Then why your own mirror, reflects some one else..

Every mirror has a story, it does tell a tale..
It reflects joy of success, and your tears when you fail..
The mirror never lies, it reflects what is true..
If you yourself dont know who you are, how can it reflect you..? ?

You may look perfect in the mirror, but take a look inside..
There are things unsaid, untold, now your eyes fail to hide..
Watch right through your soul, make sure it's not haunting..
Never realized who you are, your self-esteem still taunting..? ?

The mirror reflects a question mark, that is it really fair..? ?
You failed to live for others, for yourself only you care..
Look in the reflective gaze of glass, try finding your mistake..
Move close, Gaze into the lie and realize that it's fake...

Ask the mirror to reflect the facts, and to show the truth..
Wrongs you did in your life, right from childhood to youth..
Stop wishing for more, the mirrages will never be true..
It may be close to perfection, but it is just not you..

Make your soul your mirror, one that doesn't lie..
Make it pure and crystal clear, say a prayer up high..
Your heart reflects the person you are, so there's nothing to hide..
No mirror reflects you better then the one inside..

Tearful Eyes

The mirror laughed; it gleaned my thoughts
And saw me cry my want:
Synthetic views - pathetic clues
To how I tick - and now you taunt,
You bleeding mirror, jibe another!
Just because I dream…

To be the mighty hero wise!
And perch atop the sodden hill
Of blood and pungent death,
To lead our race from sure demise.
Let's regain, collect, and rest
Before the battle slams
Our dauntless nerve. And now to rise!
Come follow me - we'll slay the foe!
See my cloak unfurl.
Through screams and wails, he fails and dies.
Look! he falls across his minions'
Path. I laugh aloud.
My warriors hold me to the skies.
Overhead the clouds recede,
Thinning out the black.

And then I fade in pallid lies.
Returning back to conscious state,
I let the mirror slate me:
Fathoming my remote disguise,
Reflecting back my hopeless lot.
Oh to smash the thing!
If I could see through tearful eyes.

The Broken Mirror

This mirror i looked into was always broken just like my heart and
when the mirror cracks it sends pains through out my body never
leaving always at my side continuing down with the path of what was
once inside just now a hollow shell can never hide inside. Neither less it has always been this way and now when i look i can't turn away it just hurts inside cause nothing is there but a broken heart that reflects in a broken mirror that was broken to begin with never can be fixed. cause everthing i lived for is now in pieces.

The Mirror...

I Looked At The Mirror
Mirror, Looked Back At Me
I Asked The Mirror
What Do You See?
The Mirror Smiled
“Same As You See”
I Touched The Mirror
The Mirror, Touched Me
Pressing To Break Thru
Glass Vanity
For Tho’ Eye To Eye
Sometimes I See
Mirror’s Right
Is Left To Me
And My Right Side … Made Mirror Left
I Got Perplexed At Imagery
And I Turned Away From Mirror
And Mirror Turned From Me
Our Backs To Each Other
Exposed Rigidly
But, Both Turned Back To Face
And Touch Same Place, And Be
Contained and Content
In Each Other’s Space Respectfully
We Shattered The Barrier
Between Mirror and Me
Back To Reflecting Our World
And The Same Things, We See …
Oh … Mirror, Mirror …
Reflecting You … Seeing Me …

Clear...

nothing in my life
has ever been so CLEAR.
no more struggle, and no more strife,
as if i'm looking in a mirror.

a mirror that shows the opposite
of everything around.
nothing is the same here...
why is everything so CLEAR?

the stars,
the moon,
everything in that blue-black sky.
it's all so very CLEAR.

everything outside that mirror
is chaos and disarray.
problems showing up left and right,
nothing goes my way,
but inside that lovely mirror,
is a paridise by the sea.
inside that mirror it's...
CLEAR.

The Mirror And The Reflection

I look into a mirror, who is it that I see?
This person cannot be me, can she?
Her smile scares me
The person she is
Is not the person I am
What is in her eyes
Is grief
Hatred
No emotions that is happy
What happened with the girl infront of me?
What made her so sad?
She smiles again
That sends shivers down my spine
Her tears make me cry
She falls and me not long after
We cry
There is just grief
Nothing can make us stop crying
Oh dear god
I look at my hands
The tears won't stop falling
Why is it that I am crying?
I am not that girl
I am not sad
I look up to the mirror
Maybe another sight will stand there
The mirror falls
Soon there is not just tears in my hand
There is also blood
Blood that stained from my heart
And as I realize, That girl was indeed me
The one I will be come
The one with a broken heart
The one with a dying fate
But that I already knew
And as I lie there
The reflection on the shattered mirror
Laughs with a sad pain in her voice

The Lying Mirrors

When you look in the mirror does it tell a lie.
Does the mirror tell you who you are inside.
Does it tell you, that you have inner and outer beauty.
Or does it make you ask why do i do this to me.
Trust what the mirror tell you is a complete lie.
The mirror will make you ignore your heart and listen to your mind.
No matter what inside and out you are beautiful.
And never let the lying mirrors fool you.
Remember, believing you have much beauty goes a far way.
And when you look in the mirror 'I am beautiful' is what you should be able to say.

A Look in The Mirror/Imagery in Poetry

You stand there so silently, In the perfect frame of mind
Keeping all my secrets, A friend I always leave behind
You never judge me, And you never let me down
I can count on you, No matter what comes around
When you get a glimpse at me, Tell me, what you see
Do you believe in me, Are you proud of what you see
Mirror, mirror look at me, Tell me with all honesty
Can you reflect on me, Some of your clarity
I’m back so soon, it’s not even noon, And look at me, all foggy
Help me clear the steam, Mirror, I just wanna scream
I can’t see my reflection, I might need your protection
A dark shadow has appeared, And it feels kind of weird
Can you give me some shine, Can I have some of that shimmer
Can you make me sparkle, Like the glitter in your mirror
Help me get it together, Or I’ll shatter into bits
Help me stay whole and silver, Like the backbone in your mirror
Show me the strength that’s left in me, Enough with the crying and self-pity
Help me snip my shadow free, And turn it in to beauty
Mirror mirror can I ask, To leave the mirror of the past
Mirror mirror inside of me, What, reflection, do you see
