A Sacred Bond
A SACRED BOND
Dressed in rituals
Marriage comes to be
A sacred bond
Miming the throbbings of heart
It begins to shatter
For worse or better
The moment
The ritual
Is over
It hovers
This way or that
Dismantling
All the mantles
That woo it
For woe is it.

The Marriage Party
THE MARRIAGE PARTY
The marriage party was over
The bride gone
One lanky thinned out shadow

Tears oozing out

Balls played up
The heart running down

Good to Marry
Whenever you develop some kind of obsession
Think of nice time with entering into marriage session
It is lovely bond and to be enjoyed in full
So holy and sacred to be made memorable and beautiful
Well if to be managed with pomp and show
Then all the miserable tendencies must go
Lavish and grand show for marriage reception
All nice preparation for pomp and show from inception
Nice way of arranging even small things
No let up or carelessness in anything
The show must be remembered for all the times to come
All participants must be greeted with welcome
There is no let up in any preparation
As it is opening up of new relation
Everybody wished happy married life with blessings
Every care is taken to make sure it does not result in messing
It is golden chance to rejoice in special moment
It is full acknowledged and taken care that there are unpleasant comments
Everything moves on smoothly and with joy
Groom and bride dream in new world and enjoy
The final day was awaited by parents
Small saving was done for preparation and ornaments
Something was to be given as marriage gift
As bride was going away with complete shift
It is definitely nice occasion
Many may be seized with the obsession
Yet it is ritual and that has to be honored
That is why all precaution taken and labored
It is just a final seal to be put on holy deal
It is nice to see the bond resulting into real
We all pray it to last long and end in happy union
Life may go on as usual with the company companion

Bonds
The bond can be strong and unchangeable
It can make life worth living and bearable
But a bond not worth savaging is worth less
Than the mud on the bottom of a shoe from payless
Chosen bonds can make it through the worst storms
It far exceeds and surpasses the societies norms
Deviant one may say, but a worthless bond
It cheap and can sometimes be a con
The bond that is not even enough to withstand
The bond that can't even to begin to comprehend
It's not the bond someone can lay life
On, and you know when that bond is right
When all you see is the shinning lights

To My Spouse Valentine
God saw your heart and made me yours;
God knew my heart and made you mine;
God made us two, spouses forev’r;
God wants us to be happy ever.
What God has joined, none can divorce –
The standing law of God in terse;
If some could separate, life’s worse;
God’s Will can’t be undone by purse!
When man and wife – a sacred bond,
And nuptial dress, we both had donned,
Until we reach Elysium’s pond –
‘Has God, the Almighty not warned?
Though halves in Christ, we are both one;
Our lives must shine akin the Sun;
A lot of good work lies undone;
Sin is the one we have to shun.
Thus, marriage is a sacred thing,
That’s done before the heavenly King!
Our children, joy it always bring;
With gratitude, our hearts must sing!
You are my valentine, dear wife!
I am your valentine for life!
Rock-like, we stand in peril, strife,
And earthly problems that are rife.
‘I love you dear spouse from my heart! ’
– Promise to keep till we depart;
The Bible tells our living art!
If in sin, we always restart.
‘Happy Valentine’s Day, my beloved wife and sweetheart! ’

Sonnet: Marriage Is Forever
When once your single state of life is changed
By sacred Marriage vows and carnal ties,
You never from spouse ever be estranged;
The nuptial bond before God never dies.
To each other, you owe your fidelity,
And mutual understanding reigns supreme;
The union is for life’s eternity!
’Tis real and never becomes a dream.
And Marriage is a Sacrament for man!
No power on earth dare separate the two;
The hearts and bodies harmoniously can
Withstand all things attempting to undo.
With how many hearts can one heart unite?
The Sun has just the same Moon every night!

Extra-Marital Affiar
Marriage is a sacred vow
an innate romantic chain
that bound the devotion
of the couple in love.
Yet along in the way
temptation intrudes
into the privacy
of romance.
Third party comes
alluring temptress
breaks the chord
of lover's loyalty.
The other partner
succumbs to lust
drowns the love
loses the bond.
Two ways may happen
either the marriage holds
or may soon totally break
at the expense of first love.

His Word Is Not His Bond
(girls let me tell you what a liar will do
Hes always coming with something new
Hell steal your heart...)
He lives in the waste
Void of culture and taste
His eye on a prize beyond
His every word is in the right place
But his word is not his bond
His face is comely
His heart it bleeds
Yet its but a mantel
He has donned
Mark him only by his deeds
For his word is not his bond
Id love to take him
Out of this room
And gently break him
Id love to see him dance!
His protogee deals
In confusion and fog
Of power he is fond
Wheels within wheels
Like master, like dog
His word is not his bond
Im trying to swim
But Im caught in the shallows
And I sense that Ive been conned
Deliver him
To the gallows
His word is not his bond
His word is not his bond!

Bond
Bond
His name is James Bond
A small golden fish
Swimming in my pond
Along lines he rises
Cruises on the grid
Has many disguises
Hides and stays hid
Bond
His name is James Bond
A small golden fish
Of which I am very fond!
He's truly ambitios
He's fierce and vicious
Bond - my pet Piraya
Swimming with the fishes.
I am honored to be a Bond girl and be a part of the Bond legacy, To star in a video game with Connery, the original Bond, is incredible.

Sacred Trust
(b, r & m gibb)
I meant to fight it to the finish but you made me forget
And though its possible Im dreaming, dont wake me yet
You know I love you
I cant see the day for night
You know I twist around and turn around and then I give in
You end up in control of me its really a sin
I dont know what youre doing to me
But I know its a crime
And baby I cant last another night
And every moment is eternity
And from the depth of my soul
Cant let another day go by
I follow my heart right up to the end
As far as the eye can see
Im faithful and true and living up to
Your sacred trust in me
Ill never give out to somebody else
I know where my arms should be
Im faithful and true and making it through
Your sacred trust in me
Your sacred trust in me
You take me and you break me and you do what you please
I stumble and I tremble and Im weak at the knees
The vision that lies before me is not reality
I tell you I cant wait another night
For every secret that your soul reveals
And you and I may get to know
That its real, that its real
I follow my heart that leads me to you
And all that my love should be (you know Im talking to you)
And you can be sure Im doing it for
Your sacred trust in me
Ill never give out to somebody else
Theres nowhere my heart should be (you know Im calling to you)
Im faithful and true and living up to
Your sacred trust in me
Your sacred trust in me
I follow my heart right up to the end
As far as the eye can see
Im faithful and true and living up to
Your sacred trust in me
Ill never give out to somebody else
I know where my arms should be
Im faithful and true and making it through
Your sacred trust in me
Your sacred trust
I follow my heart that leads me to you
And all that my love should be (you know Im calling to you)
And you can be sure Im doing it for
Your sacred trust in me
Ill never give out to somebody else
Theres nowhere my heart should be (you know Im calling to you)
Im faithful and true and living up to
Your sacred trust in me
Your sacred trust

Sonnet: To My Wife
Our marriage comes just once a life-time dear;
Yet, anniversaries could come often;
Our sacred bond must instill love, not fear,
And help us reach our goal, which is Heaven.
Why brood over the future God intends?
’Tis waste of precious time in worrying much;
Why bother when our needs God well attends?
Let’s thank the Lord for his Fatherly touch.
Let’s keep our lives God-centered and proceed;
Avoiding sins, we must perform good deeds;
God will provide whatever things we need;
Let’s not worry if suffering exceeds!
Each Marriage Anniversary must show,
God’s love and help our love on earth to grow!

The New Savitr.....
/* On the occasion of 50th marriage anniversary of an old couple, I wrote these thoughts*/
Sun, Moon and the Planets near and far
Galaxies, Constellations and the twinkling stars
Gas Clouds and the vast infinite empty space
Keep moving away day by day, science says
From the moment of its birth in the seed of fire
For millions and millions of years
The Universe grew by not holding together
Telling us with time things diverge from each other
But from the moment of birth before the sacred fire
Bond of yours grew by holding together
Your heart and soul has grown in each other
Your original self now hard to decipher
Fifty years duration or one and half billion seconds
Flame of your love that defied the cosmic trends
Is Savitr, the seed of fire extolled in RgVeda Gayatri
I salute it at your feet and thank the almighty!

Marriage is God-made
Marriage is a holy state –
Of minds and bodies and souls two!
A one-time event in our life;
None dare untie the knots thus made!
Marriage is not all mere fun;
Be faithful to your spouse always;
The gift of God is children dear –
The priceless wealth from God above!
Once married, live for the other;
Let no one else in life bother;
The days ahead have joys and woes;
But this is how life on earth goes!
The bond of love is especial,
Though misunderstandings could arise;
The sex in marriage is sacred;
God cares for you and will provide.
So, live your married life with care;
Do just things that are right and fair;
Heaven will bless the married pair;
Remember, we are earthen-ware!

What makes a marriage?
It has been almost forty years
Since we had taken our marriage
Vows. Yes, we are still together.
I guess that means something today
Considering most never last
More than, I suspect, a few years;
Sometimes I can understand why
Marriage is not a piece of cake.
In the beginning all is fine
Everything is brand spanking new
But that finish dulls quite quickly.
That moment after the “I do’s”
The gravity of the marriage
Begins to materialize.
Vowing for better or for worse
Were just words uttered thoughtlessly.
Like reciting a bedtime prayer
Never actually listening
To each word we recite by rote
The truth is, marriage is both words
“Better” is a relative term:
What could be considered better
For me would not necessarily
Be the same view held by my wife.
Therefore we are both compromised
And there’s the rub of the matter.
Marriage is a balancing act
That’s between better and the worse.
Learn the knack of juggling the two
The marriage will certainly last.
In those years we’ve become a team
And we’re both still madly in love.

Is marriage a joy?
Freedom is a joy.
Marriage is a bond
To break open is a joy.
Marriage has one bolted in.
Is marriage then a joy?

Sacred Election
Sacred
sacred right,
the right to vote.
Sacred
sacred right
to be elected.
The people's votes are tallied
The best choice is declared.
Let no one manipulate the result
Let no one tamper the votes
Let no one buy people's votes
and strip the voters
their sacred right to choose.
Let this election
truly reflect
people's sacred rights.

George and Sarah Green
WHO weeps for strangers? Many wept
For George and Sarah Green;
Wept for that pair's unhappy fate,
Whose grave may here be seen.
By night, upon these stormy fells,
Did wife and husband roam;
Six little ones at home had left,
And could not find that home.
For 'any' dwelling-place of man
As vainly did they seek.
He perish'd; and a voice was heard--
The widow's lonely shriek.
Not many steps, and she was left
A body without life--
A few short steps were the chain that bound
The husband to the wife.
Now do those sternly-featured hills
Look gently on this grave;
And quiet now are the depths of air,
As a sea without a wave.
But deeper lies the heart of peace
In quiet more profound;
The heart of quietness is here
Within this churchyard bound.
And from all agony of mind
It keeps them safe, and far
From fear and grief, and from all need
Of sun or guiding star.
O darkness of the grave! how deep,
After that living night--
That last and dreary living one
Of sorrow and affright?
O sacred marriage-bed of death,
That keeps them side by side
In bond of peace, in bond of love,
That may not be untied!

Communion
Ive touched some objects of faith more precious than pieces of eight.
Seen sacred places and ritual ways, but for communion lets go to my place.
I learned to pray on my knees.
Been taken in hand, if you please.
Had my own revelations, ideas about fate, but for communion lets go to my place.
So as the body, so as the blood, sacred as the soul is to love.
Dont be mistaken if you dont understand, divinely simple.
Part of the plan.
Take!
Eat!
This is my body!
I give it to you.
Take!
Drink!
This is my blood.
Do it in remembrance of me (so you wont forget me).
Now, Ive been a witness of grace.
Ive stared sacred days in the face.
The long long parade of ritual ways, but for communion lets go to my place.
Sacred stories are told.
Theyre passed on like pieces of gold.
So make your conclusions, consider your fate, and for communion lets go to my place.
Are you ready?
Are you ready for communion?
