A Poet's Song

~♥ ♥ ♥ ~

I have read
Works of great men and women
Simple poems and stories
I also have written
This is the song of a poet
The song of my soul

I love poetries
So too are stories
They are simple daisies
Filling my fantasies
This is the song of a poet
The song of my soul

It is my refuge
When in sorrow
My hopes and dreams
In my unknown tomorrow
This is the song of a poet
The song of my soul

I am a poetess
With the dream of sharing
And with my knowledge and skills
Tomorrow, my dreams I will be fulfilling
This is the song of a poet
The song of my soul

I and my works
May never be great
But I will never lose hope
In God, I place my faith
This is the song of a poet
The song of my soul

I will never surrender to failure
I shall never retire until I reach my goal
I will read and write literature
I will hear the cry of my hoping soul
This is the song of a poet
The song of my soul

The Diary Of A Young Girl (diary From An Angel)

Dear Diary,

Daddy was on the couch again
Mommy left again.

I walked alone to school today,
Somtimes i feel alone, sometimes I feel like a real lady.

My friend left me at lunch,
I was alone, I miss her a bunch.

I got a bruise from daddy,
He told me I have to do what he says, and call him daddy

Mommy got home late tonight,
But thats no different from every night.

Daddy put me in bed with him,
I said I didn't want to, but he made me do it with him.

I cut myself, I cut my arm,
I sat and did my own harm.

Daddy and mommy were yelling,
Please don't tell, the don't know I am telling.

Daddy threatened me,
He said I ruined his life, and that I can't start new.

Mommy said I was nothing
God said she's bluffing.

Daddy killed mommy today,
As I sat and watched today.

Mommy left me alone here,
I can't feel her near.

Daddy says I'm his now, his to enjoy,
That my body is his toy.

Daddy cut through my body,
He didn't stop, even when i said I had to go potty.

♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥

I met god today
I saw mommy's face again today.

I don't want to see daddy again,
Not after the pain he's left with me, with nothing to gain.

I left him alone in the world,
I left him alone.

He hurt me yesterday, that's all I know now,
I'll never forget...... I don't know how

I Love You But Cant Trust You!

I had my trust broken many times before.
I was left a broken hearted girl.
I still am broken inside.

I simply cannot trust.
Its not you it’s me.
My trust can’t be broken again.

So don’t ask me to trust
because I can’t do it.

A Song..to Whom Does It Belong

a song
to whom does it belong
once it is born, , , and stays alive for so long

the poet has done his bit
he has put his heart and soul
to give the song a soul

the musician has done his bit
he has put his work and mind
to give the song a form

the singer has done his bit
he has put his voice to emote
to give the song a life

whose song is it now...to whom does it belong

the song has become a bird
it goes around the world
it is by itself..a persona

it goes on to live for long

[the indian film songs..at least a few go on to live for long
i tried to say how itis made and how it stays]

A Song About You

If I could write a song
I’d write a song about you

I would write about how
You’re all I can every think about
How you flood my dreams each night
How thinking of you takes my breath away
When I look up to the satellites

If I could write a song
I’d write a song about you

I would write about how
The long lost butterflies returned
How I hope my number you’ll dial
And how your memory smothers me with smiles

If I could write a song
I’d write a song about you

I would write about how
You were the only one
Who had enough of me to break my heart
And when love took over my heart
You tore it all apart.

If I could write a song
I’d write a song about you

I would write about how
I gave you my heart
Caught up in the thought
That we were off to a great start
But how you threw a damn dart
Right into the center of my heart

If I could write a song
I’d write a song about you
About how you crushed my heart
Not bothering to look back.

If I could write a song
I’d write a song about you

Sing Me A Song

Sing me a song,
A song you and I know,
A song that will put me to sleep,
This song that I always listen to makes me cry,
Missing you with every inch on my heart,
Knowing that you will not return,
Sing me a song,
A song that will help me forget about you,
A song that will heal my heart,
A song of forgiveness,
Just sing a song,
A song that can not be forgotten,
A song so memorable,
Only a memory,
Sing me song,
A song that we will love,
A song we can not live with out,
Just sing me a song,
A song that only you and I know.

Music And Song

To song and to music people dance along
And life all the better for music and song
When the musicians play and the singers do sing
Great joy to so many they always do bring
Music and song belongs to all people not to any one race
And amongst every culture commands a high place
From the North to the South Pole from Brazil to France
To song and to music people inspired to dance
The gifts of the gods to humanity
Without song and music far worse off we would be
To every tune ever born there's a song to be sung
And music and song are for the old and the young
They were born as soul mates and as soul mates they remain
And for music and song let us hear it again.

Melancholy Song

-believing that humans are made in the image of God
has its implications;
living life here, while looking There
brings about the most precarious, melancholy situations-

There's a sad song singing
In the soul of the wind,
And yet a joyful wind blowing
Through every soul's song.
It never stays
And it never goes,
Calling our hearts onward
To wherever it flows.
It's a song of sadness
And of good cheer,
A song of great warmth
And no small fear.
The song of the masses
And the song of one,
The sound of breaking darkness in the night
And the music of the rising sun.
It's the melancholy in me
And great joy,
It's the deep desire to stay
And yet homeward go.
I know this song
And the tears it brings,
I hear this song
Within my heart, where it sings.
It leaves me lonely
But, never alone,
For it's ever with me
Singing of a place, called Home.

The sing of song

it's a song without title
a song without word
a song without sound

a song in our eyes
a song in our ears
a song in our hands
a song in our feet

We are singing the song
without title
a nameless song
It's a distant song
It's a future song

A song who says:
beyond future, beyond distances,
beyond nothing, beyond always

a song in a single colour
that we don't see

many colours
much colours
unknown colours

this was
a song of your mother
a song of your grandmothers
a song of one very old woman

Sleep, sleep my little love
Dream, dream my little love
when you close open your wide eyes

a song that's sung

a song that's sung

A Poem For My Beloved

i will sing a song
for you
a sweet song
more like
a whisper
from my soul
for you
my beloved

it is a song
from my heart
filled with
so much
love

it is a song
of smooth words
like a chinese
porcelain

a song of joy
more of bliss
that early
this morning
you wake me
up from such
a stupor

it is a song
about you loving me
even if i have
forgotten you
sometimes

it is a song of praise
and worship
because you my
beloved is always
My God

alleluia! alleluia!
I bow to God
i am his servant.

May This Song Reach Your Heart

A strong young woman sings,
Her voice so divine.
'May this song reach your heart.'

She showed the epitome
Of soul, body, and mind.
'May this song reach your heart.'

She sang to the heavens
With uplifting spirit.
'May this song reach your heart.'

Her song was made
So the world could hear it.
'May this song reach your heart.'

The song she sang
Was that of fine art.
'May this song,
Reach your heart.'

The Song Within Me

There lives a Song within me
There exists a melody in me
I am pregnant of a special Song
This Song energizes my soul
The echo is eternal
Many hears Him
Few believe His lyrics
Few elects enjoy listening to Him
The sound is sonorous
The percussion is melodious
He is unique and distinct
The lines are not composed by man
But divinely arranged
To bring succour to the hopeless
This Song is the eternal Rock
Mountains are thrashed by my Song
Boisterous storms are quietened by my Song
He enlivens my spirit
He is an everlasting Song
Who ever does not know this Song
Is bereft of the incandescent Light
Without the Song
Life is unsung
So, join me to sing my Song
My Song is Jesus Christ.

Song of Wrongs

Some songs are trapped, while other songs are free
Some songs can linger, while others need a key
Some songs look Heavenward to find a place to be
While most songs have homes, some songs aren't so lucky

Which song would you rather hear
The song of hope, or the song of fear
The song that has everything, or the song that needs care
The song you care nothing for, or the song you revere

I'd like to listen to all of those forgotten songs
Not the song of rights, I want the song of wrongs
I want the song of solitude hiding in the throngs
I want the song that has no place to which it belongs
