A Man's Disposition
As goes a man’s disposition
So goes the mind
And so goes the man
Change his disposition
Change the man
And thus his members

Mean Disposition
I'm getting wise to you
You're going to see
I'm going to work on you
The way you worked on me
I got a sharper aim
And you're in my sights
And if I'm going to go
I'm going in a blaze of lights
And in this crazy world of hit and run
There are no laws here
Just a loaded gun
She's got a mean disposition
She's got a big shooter too
She's got a mean disposition
Really make a mess
Really make a mess out of you
I never close my eyes
I never sleep
I'm staying on my guard
Waiting for my flesh to creep
And I never trusted you
You never trusted me
I'll do a deal with you
If you'll do a deal with me
For me the nightmare's only just begun
There is no law here
Just a loaded gun
She's got a mean disposition
Got a big shooter too
She's got a mean disposition
Got a bad attitude
She's got a mean disposition
Going to cut your half
Going to cut your half in two
I'm going have to stand my ground
Like Crockett at the Alamo
I'm going to draw the line
One of us has got to go
She's got a mean disposition
Got a big shooter too
She's got a mean disposition
Got a bad attitude
She's got a mean disposition
Going to make a mess out of you
She's got a mean disposition
Going to cut your half
Going to cut your half in two

Fragments - Lines 0213 - 0218
My heart, display toward all your friends a changeful character,
Adding into it the disposition that each one has.
Adopt the disposition of the octopus, crafty in its convolutions, which takes on
The appearance of whatever rock it has dealings with.
At one moment follow along this way, but at the next change the color of your skin:
You can be sure that cleverness proves better than inflexibility.
The Woman And The Devil
When Man and Woman had been made,
All but the disposition,
The Devil to the workshop strayed,
And somehow gained admission.
The Master rested from his work,
For this was on a Sunday,
The man was snoring like a Turk,
Content to wait till Monday.
'Too bad!' the Woman cried; 'Oh, why,
Does slumber not benumb me?
A disposition! Oh, I die
To know if 'twill become me!'
The Adversary said: 'No doubt
'Twill be extremely fine, ma'am,
Though sure 'tis long to be without
I beg to lend you mine, ma'am.'
The Devil's disposition when
She'd got, of course she wore it,
For she'd no disposition then,
Nor now has, to restore it.

Any one who in discussion relies upon authority uses, not his understanding, but rather his memory. Good culture is born of a good disposition; and since the cause is more to be praised than the effect, I will rather praise a good disposition without culture, than good culture without the disposition.

Change Your Mind
When you get weak, and you need to test your will
When lifes complete, but theres something missing still
Distracting you from this must be the one you love
Must be the one whose magic touch can change your mind
Dont let another day go by without the magic touch
Distracting you (change your mind)
Supporting you (change your mind)
Embracing you (change your mind)
Convincing you (change your mind)
When youre confused and the world has got you down
When you feel used and you just cant play the clown
Protecting you from this must be the one you love
Must be the one whose magic touch can change your mind
Dont let another day go by without the magic touch
Protecting you (change your mind)
Restoring you (change your mind)
Revealing you (change your mind)
Soothing you (change your mind)
You hear the sound, you wait around and get the word
You see the picture changing everything youve heard
Destroying you with this must be the one you love
Must be the one whose magic touch can change your mind
Dont let another day go by without the magic touch
Destroying you (change your mind)
Embracing you (change your mind)
Protecting you (change your mind)
Confining you (change your mind)
Distracting you (change your mind)
Supporting you (change your mind)
Distorting you (change your mind)
Controlling you (change your mind)
Change your mind (change your mind)
Change your mind, change your mind (change your mind)
Change your mind (change your mind)
The morning comes and theres an odor in the room
The scent of love, more than a million roses bloom
Embracing you with this must be the one you love
Must be the one whose magic touch can change your mind
Dont let another day go by without the magic touch
Embracing you (change your mind)
Concealing you (change your mind)
Protecting you (change your mind)
Revealing you (change your mind)
Change your mind, change your mind (change your mind)
Change your mind (change your mind)
Change your mind, change your mind (change your mind)
Change your mind (change your mind)
Change your mind, change your mind
Change your mind
Change your mind, change your mind
Change your mind
Change your mind, change your mind
Change your mind, change your mind

A snake can change its skin but not its disposition.
Seeking Reason
Slowly I get the feeling...
I love the way you move.
Gee baby,
And your attitude...
Oh honey,
What would I do?
If you decide to leave me...
On the streets.
And,
All alone to feel so...
Incomplete to weep.
In a weakened state of mind.
And,
Blinded by ill disposition!
And,
Without a night of sleep...
Seeking-more-than-reason!
Oh...
All alone to feel so...
Incomplete to weep.
In a weakened state of mind.
And,
Blinded by ill disposition!
Slowly I get the feeling...
I love the way you move.
Gee baby,
And your attitude...
Oh honey,
What would I do?
If you decide to leave me...
On the streets.
And,
All alone to feel so...
Incomplete to weep.
In a weakened state of mind.
And,
Blinded by ill disposition!
But seeking reason.
And...
Blinded by ill disposition!
But...But...
But seeking reason.
And...
Blinded by ill disposition!
But...But...
But seeking reason.
And...
Blinded by ill disposition!
But...But...
But seeking reason.

One's Temperament And Disposition
One's temperament and disposition,
Seldom are instilled as a choice one picks.
If little boys hear they are suppose to be bad,
They will head in that direction to make someone proud...
A bad boy is going to be had!
Although sad it is for the women attracted to this.
And it is difficult to decide to have a good disposition,
To let that 'funkier' side subside when given a pride.
Espcially when a dumbing down done is welcomed,
By nearly everyone.
And those wanting to show themselves to be good natured,
Grit their teeth to the point to make their gums bleed.
One's temperament and disposition,
Seldom are instilled as a choice one picks.
And although barking is never found on anyone's top ten list,
It it suggested as a remedy...
That quickly relieves,
Without prescribing to mind altering medications.

Tranquil Setting
My friend’s disposition grew intense
Towards the purloined thoughts,
As I reiterated my own speech
In favour of a tranquil notion.
My land of dreams is of this disposition,
Entering the supper and lunch.
The external sign carries principles
Too economic and political.
I am before my mind, placing there
A certain thought delivered,
For the tranquillity of my friend
Has entered the frame of existence.

The House Story
the fence keeps a happy disposition.
it does not need it. The house does.
despite its disagreement with the door,
somehow, i gives a square disposition,
as though, everything here is tolerable,
the house is keeping so many secrets
shying away from the scrutiny of visitors
but it trusts the fence and can sleep
soundly at night, except the light bulb
which is fixed at the back of the kitchen
it keeps on blinking, wanting to tell it all,
but the master switch of the basement is quick
everything is shut off, and then the silence
reigns, it is the queen, it grieves
without a word, it takes in what the house
cannot take anymore, and the fence as the
facade, maintains its happy disposition,
deceiving all that merely pass by.

Change! Change! Change!
change! change! change!
everybody talkin' about change.
change your look,
change your luck,
change your politics,
change your religion...
change the country,
change the world....
change the day!
change your underwear!
loose change, pocket change,
winds of change, march for change....
but all real change begins within...
let's work on that,
and then everything else
will change in turn!

Mean Disposition
You got a mean disposition,
You got no inner vision,
And youre cruel in addition.
I can tell by the way you look,
I can read you like a book.
Oh, youre out there on your own,
Without friends to call your own.
Remember the days,
When we thought they would last for always.
Life full of dreams,
And we really believe that they come true some day.
You got a mean disposition,
But no goal or ambition.
Oh, youre out there on your own,
With no place to call a home.
Remember the days,
When we thought they would last for always.
Life full of dreams,
And we really believe that they come true one day.
Whatever happened to the man
With a future and a plan?
You got a mean disposition
Toodoodoo doodoodoo doodoo
Toodoodoo doodoodoo doodoo
You got a mean disposition,
You got no inner vision,
And youre cruel, oh yes you are!

Oh My Sweet Carolina
I went down to houston
And I stopped in san antone
I passed up the station for the bus
I was trying to find me something
But I wasnt sure just what
Man I ended up with pockets full of dust
So I went on to cleveland and I ended up insane
I bought a borrowed suit and learned to dance
I was spending money like the way it likes to rain
Man I ended up with pockets full of cane
Oh my sweet carolina
What compels me to go
Oh my sweet disposition
May you one day carry me home
I aint never been to vegas but I gambled up my life
Building newsprint boats I race to sewer mains
Was trying to find me something but I wasnt sure just what
Funny how they say that some things never change
Oh my sweet carolina
What compels me to go
Oh my sweet disposition
May you one day carry me home
Up here in the city feels like things are closing in
The sunsets just my light bulb burning out
I miss kentucky and I miss my family
All the sweetest winds they blow across the south
Oh my sweet carolina
What compels me to go
Oh my sweet disposition
May you one day carry me home
May you one day carry me home

Shelter
Consumed by this greedy disposition
I give no thanks for all that's been given to me
See I'm so concerned with selfish ambition
I see what I want and look past what I need
It's time
To forget myself
It's time
To forget myself
Tell me where to find shelter
Somewhere here
Tell me where to find shelter
Somewhere here
I'mpatience takes its toll
It's such a hefty fair for me to pay
Indifference takes control
I guess I'll keep that outside at bay
'Cause I don't care
If I ever change
No I don't care
If I ever change
Tell me where to find shelter
Somewhere here
Tell me where to find shelter
Somewhere here
Somewhere here
Tell me where to find shelter
Somewhere here
Tell me where to find shelter
Somewhere here
Tell me where to find shelter
Somewhere here
Tell me where to find shelter
Somewhere here
'Cause I don't care
If I ever change
No I don't care
If I ever change

Sonnet: Change You Can But…
Change you can your hair color, not your skin;
Change you can your smile and grin: not your eyes;
Change you can your sex partners, not your kin;
Change you can your sinful life: Be soul-wise!
Change you can your friends and foes, not parents;
Change you can your teacher/guide, not your brain;
Change you can your exam-marks, not talents;
Change you can your habits bad and be sane.
Change you can the environment, not the sun;
Change you can the landscape old, not the soil;
Change you can your temperament and not run;
Change you can your heart and mind: you must toil.
Change you can your ambitions but be brave;
Change you can your life-styles much but behave!

Change Of Heart
Chris hayes / huey lewis
I know it happens almost every time
I also know that nothing last forever
So now you wanna go and change your mind
Forget about the time we spent together
Do you think that Ill shoot myself,
When you tell me that its over ?
You say you, had a change of heart
You better think it over, baby.
Cause if you ever change your mind
I could have a change of heart the next time.
You really know just how to put me off
You say one thing and then you do another.
Now it takes more than that to get me off
You must think that youre a perfect lover.
Do you think that Ill fall apart,
When you tell me that you leavin ?
You say you, had a change of heart
You better think it over, baby.
Cause if you ever change your mind
I could have a change of heart the next time.
Wonder what Ill do with all the time
When Im not here, and Im not on the telephone.
No more worry bout if you do and ill
Cause it wont matter anymore if Im all alone.
Baby I got news for you
It isnt gonna kill me.
You say you, had a change of heart
You better think it over, baby.
Cause if you ever change your mind
I could have a change of heart the next time.
You say you, had a change of heart
You better think it over, baby.
Hey, (hey)
Better think it over
Think it over baby

Change in Me
Why I need change?
for better or for the worst?
Any choices to change or not?
I need change when
There is an opportunity to grow and mature
Things being done the wrong way
Dealing with a world of change
I rediscover change
Change is the law of life
Those who look only
to the past or the present
Are certain to miss the future
I may change anything I want or don't want
But I can't change everything I want
My dilemma is
I hate change and
love it at the same time
Best of all
What I want is
For things to remain the same
but get better.
Lastly,
I need strong courage to change,
To master change;
Be the master of change.
Always I want change,
To get where I want to be,
Be the change I want to have.

Mind
Time wont change you
Money wont change you
I havent got the faintest idea
Everything seems to be up in the air at this time
I need something you change your mind
Drugs wont change you
Religion wont change you
Science wont change you
Looks like I cant change you
I try to talk to you, to make things clear
But youre not even listening to me...
And it comes directly from my heart to you...
I need something to change your mind.

Change In Scenery
I'll keep my small town girl name
but you can change the trees
change the breeze
I'll keep my big heart
but you can change the roads
change the toads
I'll keep my ice-melting smile
but you can change the distance
change the miles
I'll keep my soft hands
but you can change the grass
change the land
I'll keep what makes me me
but you can change our untogetherness
and change the scenery

My life. Or yours.
You change for me
I change for you
Why did we change at all
You change for yourself
I change for myself
We look and see
Change wasn't ment to be
We were perfect the way we were
But now it's too late
We still change
Just like society
But not as drastic
You change
I change
We change together
For the better
