There once was an upcoming actress
Whose voice tones resounded like cactus.
Her resonance so sour,
That after an hour,
Her voice coach abandoned her practice.

What Voice? ...
On this World Voice Day
It's a duty of us all
A pause for reflecting
Thanking the Creator
And all those who gave
And those who keep giving
Their voice for Love
For their wishes for Peace
And for the deepest Lament!
It's the voice of the Humanist
It's the voice of the Actor
It's the voice of the Poet
It's the voice of every Artist
It's the voice of the Scientist
The voice of the voiceless
And the voice of those able to voice it
Yet... they're deprived of doing so
And it doesn't reach us
As it would be fair, though!

One Like Leads To Another
Chitra, the singer, got her face by her voice.
Simran, the actress, got her voice by her face.
You got from my liking, both voice and face.
When you chat with me my mind makes all noise.

But as my voice coach keeps saying, if we actually spoke the way they imagine the Elizabethan voice might have been, we wouldn't be able to understand it.

Les Cactus
Le monde entier est un cactus
Il est impossible de s'asseoir
Dans la vie il n'y a que des cactus
Moi j'm'pique de le savoir
Aie! aie! ouille! aie!
Dans leur coeur il y a des cactus
Dans leur portefeuille y a des cactus
Sous leurs pieds il y a des cactus
Dans l'heure qu'il est il y a des cactus
Aie! aie! ouille! aie!
Pour me defendre de leur cactus
A mon tour j'ai pris des cactus
Dans mon lit j'ai mis des cactus
Dans mon silp j'ai mis des cactus
Aie! aie! ouille! aie!
Dans leur sourir' il y a des cactus
Dans leur ventr' il y a des cactus
Dans leur bonjour il y a des cactus
Dans leur cactus il y a des cactus
Aie! aie! aie! ouille! ouille!
Le monde entier est un cactus
il est impossible de s'asseoir
Dans la vie y a que des cactus
Moi je me pique de le savoir
Aie! aie! aie!

Rain and Love
There is a chill
in the summer's air tonight
Ice in a voice
telling me, 'all is alright.'
'I abandoned love
a decade ago
Without love
there's nowhere to go.'
And as the clouds gather
the rain never comes
Without the rain
life never comes
So much traffic
on a dark one way street
So many thoughts
my past left incomplete
A very limp handshake
veiled snide remarks
Through all of the smoke
clearly the difference is stark
There's ice in your veins
a chill in your voice
For abandoned/betrayed love
you show no remorse
