A Gentle Breeze Knocks the Grass
A gentle breeze knocks the grass
Off its partnered to the sand.
A stranger walks to the shore
From the land of forgotten memories.
Tell me more, oh, Tell me more.
You won’t, I won’t.
It goes unsaid.
Memories of a time when innocence was common
When the faint of heart were not forsaken
When difference was trivial.
The glassiness of his eyes give away his nonchalant
Waves crash down, he steps with the most kindness
To natural beauty.
A women, with innocence in her hair and eyes.
He touches her, she doesn’t contest him. She likes it.
When will the day be finished.
When will I know the end.
When men can rest and children can play.
Never will it come again, until the day when men
Share love.

Stephanie (The Hello pt 1)
Sitting in the warmth of an autumn sun
she seemed to be in reposed thought
when I saw her lips smile….
Though memories rode the wake of passing clouds
her heart was saddened from pain remembered
and from innocence stolen….
Yet on this day,
this sunny day her lips smiled….
I thought for a moment to stop and speak
even though the eyes of strangers seldom ever meet….
But a simple hello emerged from me to her
and from her a sort shy gentle hi….
That hello and that hi
did flutter and fly
dancing rings around her heart
making her lips once again smile
and though she did I still saw the sadness in her
as her eyes seemingly cried….
No tears did I see
Just old memories peeking from her eyes
out at me….
All while in the warmth of an autumn sun
as her lips smiled
as innocence returned
and trust was reborn….

Innocence Taken
Innocence taken
by those who thought
that it was ok to lie
by those who thought
nothing matters
Innocence taken
no longer available
Innocence unable
to ever speak again
Innocence silenced
to soon
Innocence taken
there's no truth over the lie
Innocence taken
by those who thought
I'll be the same again
by those who thought
its ok to kill
by those who thought
it's ok to take
Innocence replaced
by fear and mistrust
Innocence disappeared
before it came
Innocence taken
by those who
laughed at every cry
by those who had none
Innocence reflecting
a little girls eyes
innocence taken away
without my permission

Baby Ella Gibson
Cannot understand a word she does say
Yet she is so clever in her baby way
She crawls around the kitchen floor
And opens every cupboard door
The year old daughter of Lisa and Shane
Ella Gibson does try hard to explain
Through her laughter and her tears her sense of joy and pain
Of such beautiful childhood innocence great memories to retain,
Her natural blond hair and big blue eyes
Each new thing for her a big surprise
As she tries to master the art of climbing and speech
High things on shelves she tries to reach,
Their innocence a marvellous thing
Joy to the World young children bring.

Question Marked Innocence
When we talked you promised
That you would never leave
Then I told you of the demons
And how they made me bleed
I made you promise crazy things
But your words weren’t enough
I couldn’t believe you loved me
I thought to love me was to tough
When I cry about my past
And say that I’m ashamed
I know that I am the one
Who is to be blamed
Then you hold me tight
And say that it’s okay
So I cry for my lack of innocence
And the things I couldn’t give away
When I can’t sleep through the night
And the memories start to hurt too much
I burn myself and tell you,
Because you’re the only one I trust
You say your better then you’re past
You tell me that I’m strong
You say that I’m the love of your life
But if you only knew
The kind of thoughts I think
And what I used to do
You tell me that it doesn’t matter
And that you love me anyway
So I cry for my stolen innocence
And the things I shouldn’t have given away
They all said my body lacked beauty
And it made my confidence fall apart
But when I let you look
You marveled at me like a work of art
I then held you close just to say
Remember this moment and don’t let it fade
So I cry for my question mark innocence
And the things I wish I gave away
I never felt a thing
Before I gave you my heart
And when those bad memories won’t fade
And I feel like I’ll fall apart
You will tell me you love me so
Then as you wrap your arms around me
And say you’ll never let me go
I know you really love me,
And you’ll keep me safe from harm
You know I’ve been hurt,
And abused in every kind of way
So I cry for my loss of innocence
And the things I gave away

Memories
Memories of good times
Memories of bad times
Memories of our love
So many memories
Memories of us crying
Memories of us laughing
Memories of our commitment
So many memories
Memories of us hugging
Memories of us kissing
Memories of those late nights
So many memories
Memories of how we met
Memories of how you left
Memories of what you said
So many memories
Why did you leave me
with so many memories
Did you ever realize
that my memories are yours
Everything we did together
stays within our memories
I remember getting hurt
Do you hurt too
Let's make a new memory
that we can both share
Let's love again
in our memories

Only Peace Thrives
Only peace thrives
Innocence sleeps
on the dreaming eye lids
of a toddling child
so nascent so fresh
as the drooling dews
on a quivering grass blade
as the first morning
of cool winter
smiles innocuously.
Only peace thrives
Innocence sleeps
no war no war-cry
only peace and peace thrives
a cow boy sings the song of joy
in a remote yet not far grass land
the innocence sleeps
nestling on the bed of roses
the frisky fragrance of love
the garland of motley hopes
touches his chin tenderly
he could see his God
the divine possibilities
with the dancing tune of nature
so close to his imbued heart
that is filled with
only joy and happiness.
Innocence sleeps
no war no war cry
and only peace thrives.

Ah My Sweet Sweet Heart
Wherever you are please stay like you always were
Ah that beauty smile may always shines throughout your world
As long as your memories are here ill never want more
Those lovely eyes will always guide my roads to God's roads
Ah my beloved I would never blame you yet if I could give you my eyes I won't say no
may the distances nor the time make you forget about my love
As long as I have even a little bit place there in your heart
As long as the memories of your and mine
When you and I were crazy in love
As long as those memories are respected
As long as my memories are there
There in your sweet sweet heart that I still adore
I can survive all the difficulties of life.

Memories
The summers were longer, they went on forever
Oh and the sky so blue
We never worried about anything
We didnt question the nature of things
We didnt want to know
Talking in whispers and wondering
Oh and I loved you so
Memories, they linger with you but you
Soon forget that we started in innocence
Memories, they linger with you but you
Soon forget when youre grown
We dream in the night, of mythical days
And nights in white satin
But when the child wakes, the fantasy breaks
We didnt know what the future would bring
We didnt want to know
Something was growing inside me
Oh and I loved you so
Memories, they linger with you but you
Soon forget that we started in innocence
Memories, they linger with you but you
Soon forget when youre grown
Photographs, faded photographs
Holidays, summer holidays
First love, broken promises
All a play, Im going back to yesterday
The feeling was stronger, if went on forever
Oh and your eyes were true
We were so wrapped up in all of our dreams
We didnt care what the future would bring
We didnt want to know
Talking in whispers and wondering
Oh and I loved you so......
Memories, they linger with you but you
Soon forget that we started in innocence
Memories, they linger with you but you
Soon forget when youre grown

innocence
innocence finds you there
innocence
innocence doesn't care
any way you choose
the sun and the son
are true
hold me now
I won't let go
innocence
innocence lets you go
innocence holds you down
any way
any way that you want
and you will be there
with the sun
and you say you don't care
oh

When Children Lose Their Innocence
The innocence of childhood it is a marvellous thing
And all children are untainted in their life's early Spring
But by the time they've reached their teens their innocence they've lost
And the experience that we gain from age always comes at a cost.
When children lose their innocence they lose their gift of joy
The joy that comes from innocence in every young girl and boy
Compared to us young children see life quite differently
Of the guilt of corruption they are completely free.
I have such happy memories of when I was a boy
My childhood years were happy years but time just seemed to fly
And the experience that I've gained from life it came at a great cost
For I lost something beautiful when innocence I lost.

Eyes Of Innocence
When I look into your eyes
I can see all your hopes and dreams
I can feel your warm desires
And I know youre wanting me
Youve got to use discretion
I dont know if its right
To take away that look from you
By loving you tonight
Im looking in the eyes
In the eyes of innocence
I dont know if its right to feel this way
Im looking in the eyes
In the eyes of innocence
And Im afraid of the way
You look at me
Something inside keeps telling me
This is a love that cannot be
And even though I should not stay
Cant bring myself to walk away
Youre holding my affections
I dont know if its right
To take away that look from you
By loving you tonight
Im looking in the eyes
In the eyes of innocence
I dont know if its right to feel this way
Im looking in the eyes
In the eyes of innocence
And Im afraid of the way you
Look at me
Im looking in the eyes
In the eyes of innocence
I dont know if its right to feel this way
Im looking in the eyes
In the eyes of innocence
And Im afraid of the way
Im afraid of the way
Im afraid of the way you look at me

Defenselessness Of It Admitted
When I was 'in' innocence,
I allowed curiosity to tease me away from it.
And each step taken,
Led me deeper to feed my unrest.
My innocence became neglected.
And now with memories of it...
I wish the innocence I had,
But left...
Was kept more protected.
And decadence less a taste I tested.
When I was 'in' innocence,
I wish I had recognized its power.
Now I am offended,
By my defenselessness of it admitted.

Memories Of Lost Youth
When I was a young boy many decades ago
I thought babies like flowers in the gardens did grow
That's what I was told and what I did believe
Children have their innocence and are not hard to deceive.
I yearn for the innocence that I had then
Something that I lost in the World of men
Lost innocence we cannot hope to regain
Though fond memories of childhood we always retain.
When I was a young boy with joy I recall
The great tits young in the dark cavity in the stone wall
I did hear them chirp though them I could not see
The mysteries of Nature a wonder to me.
The winter was cold with frost wind rain and snow
And the river bank high in the old fields did flow
But Spring brought her birdsong her wildflowers and green
And Nature's great beauty for all to be seen.
My innocence died like the flowers of the Spring
But memories of lost youth a beautiful thing
The passing of time has left me looking gray
And a different World I live in today.

You are, We are- Love
Innocence,
Preciousness,
Beauty;
You are-
My love, beloved.
A blend of hope,
passion,
and happiness.
You are-
a smile from my lips,
a glimmer of my eyes.
You are my love.
The love between us...
it is innocent,
beautiful,
and worth all we give;
All of it for us.
All the tears we surendered,
All the pain we suffered...
For you-
I'd cry a million tears.
I'd try again time after time,
becaus in you, is me.
We are all we can be.
Innocence,
Presiousness,
and beauty
in everything we do and,
all we do for each other.
You are-
We are-
Love
Love
Love,
as long as we are together.

Little Pieces of Innocence
Little Pieces of Innocence
(0n watching my children sleep)
Sweet sleep, little pieces of innocence,
While dreams so serenely fair,
Fill their heads with joyous thoughts,
How gladly do I stand and stare,
Upon the gifts that love has brought.
No darkness spreads her sorrow here,
Sleep on dear children, rest, but know,
Your father watches with such delight,
This moment of truth, and with heart aglow,
And filled with love this night.
Those little pieces of innocence,
So serene, so full of grace,
Sweetest gifts that Heaven imparts,
Fondly shall I long embrace,
The innocence in their hearts.
Those little pieces of innocence,
Their youthful years so few,
Enjoy now as you grow,
Joys of innocence, pure and true,
That only children ever know.
The hour is fleeting, and morn is nigh,
Innocence so filled with truth,
Awake! enjoy your childhood years,
Before time sweeps away your youth,
And innocence disappears.
Never, never can I lose them,
No time or distance shall stake a claim,
Though saddness may overcome me,
My heart will stay the same,
And those little pieces of innocence will forever be.

Dying Soldiers Wish
(8/18/12)
We were soldiers young and brave
Now we lay here in our grave
Does anyone remember me when I lived
And that I had so much to give.
I wanted all the things that everyone else did
But my thoughts I had hid.
Knowing that I was going to war
To a far and distant shore.
I gave my life defending this land
I'm sure you understand that when duty calls
You are there to give freedom a helping hand.
Can you remember the color of my eyes or my hair
Do you remember the moments that we shared.
Do you remember the look and words unspoken
Of how our love would never be broken.
Do you remember my smile or my laughter
Or the goals that we was after.
I do not ask you to live in memories
But just once in a while to think of me.
Your thoughts will put my heart at ease
And I'll feel your gentle breeze
As you call out my name
Then I'll know I didn't die in vain.
Death does not take a back seat to war
Death is always at the door.

Ocean of memories....
When one day missing you becomes unbearable
I will seek you out from deep within the ocean of my memories
Walk on the sands of time till it lead me to your sunkissed shores
Where our journey ended and love will once again be reborn
Here i will await your loving heart
I will gaze out across the ocean
Breathe in the winds of hope
Close my eyes and cast the nets of faith once more
Reel in the vision of bygone times
In one precious moment
I shall surrender my soul, my heart, my being
To the rememberance of the fragrance of your body
Rediscovering its secrets
I shall recall the waves to the shore
and bathe blissfully in the ocean of your memories
We shall become one
Dance to the rhythm of our heartbeats
Watch a million butterflies taking flight
Shimmering bubbles floating above us
Watch the sun as it rises and sets in eyes yours and mine
Embrace and behold the beauty of loves tidal wave
Ride the waves of ecstacy
Reaching a crescendo
As each wave of passion hits the shore
and we evanesce into sprays of pearls and water
Ultimately
just another dropp in the ocean of memories
Under the Figtree
Like drifts of balm from cedared glens, those darling memories come,
With soft low songs, and dear old tales, familiar to our home.
Then breathe again that faint refrain, so tender, sad, and true,
My soul turns round with listening eyes unto the harp and you!
The fragments of a broken Past are floating down the tide,
And she comes gleaming through the dark, my love, my life, my bride!
Oh! sit and sing — I know her well, that phantom deadly fair
With large surprise, and sudden sighs, and streaming midnight hair!
I know her well, for face to face we stood amongst the sheaves,
Our voices mingling with a mist of music in the leaves!
I know her well, for hand in hand we walked beside the sea,
And heard the huddling waters boom beneath this old Figtree.
God help the man that goes abroad amongst the windy pines,
And wanders, like a gloomy bat, where never morning shines!
That steals about amidst the rout of broken stones and graves,
When round the cliffs the merry skiffs go scudding through the waves;
When, down the bay, the children play, and scamper on the sand,
And Life and Mirth illume the Earth, and Beauty fills the Land!
God help the man! He only hears and fears the sleepless cries
Of smitten Love — of homeless Love and moaning Memories.
Oh! when a rhyme of olden time is sung by one so dear,
I feel again the sweetest pain I’ve known for many a year;
And from a deep, dull sea of sleep faint fancies come to me,
And I forget how lone we sit beneath this old Figtree.

Innocence Is A Harmonic Restoration Seed
innocence is a blessing easily tarnished
innocence sees beauty even in dark souls
innocence has belief to calm brutal beasts
innocence is a sacred gift easily forfeit lost
innocence has faith to restore hardened hearts
innocence has vision to invoke creative remedies
innocence is a unique seed of passion harmonies
innocence has truth to see path to restorations
innocence has patience to work new miracles

Farming
In the harsh reality, of the fierceness of the land
the farmer walks over furrows of ploughed sand,
in the distance calves bellow, his eyes look at the blue,
if a rain cloud is appearing somewhere
but the sun scorches like an ach-enemy.
There are lumps of sand clinging together,
his crops are spread over a distance
when a light breeze only just touches the stubbles,
in the harsh reality.
This piece of ground, this farm has a strong bond with him,
he walks to a tractor with a flat tire,
see the sun growing faint in the west,
pray for rain, while he trusts in God
on the blessings from His almighty hand,
in the harsh reality.
