A Christmas Prayer (from the trenches)
Not yet for us may Christmas bring
Good-will to men, and peace;
In our dark sky no angels sing,
Not yet the great release
For men, when war shall cease.
So must the guns our carols make,
Our gifts must bullets be,
For us no Christmas bells shall wake;
These ruined homes shall see
No Christmas revelry.
In hardened hearts we fain would greet
The Babe at Christmas born,
But lo, He comes with pierced feet,
Wearing a crown of thorn,-
His side a spear has torn.
For tired eyes are all too dim,
Our hearts too full of pain,
Our ears too deaf to hear the hymn
Which angels sing in vain,
'The Christ is born again.'
O Jesus, pitiful, draw near,
That even we may see
The Little Child who knew not fear;
Thus would we picture Thee
Unmarred by agony.
O'er death and pain triumphant yet
Bid Thou Thy harpers play,
That we may hear them, and forget
Sorrow and all dismay,
And welcome Thee to stay
With us on Christmas Day.

This One I Picked For Christmas
How many Angels can sit atop a tree.
This one I picked for Christmas,
To bring such joy for me.
And how many lights can twinkle bright,
As stars?
Trimming branches candycaned.
That lightens up my heart!
How many gifts wished,
Will I get this year?
And how many will share Christmas,
With laughter and not tears.
How many bells will ring,
As carols are heard sung?
How many will make sure,
Goodwill is felt...
By everyone.
How many Angels can sit atop a tree.
This one I picked for Christmas,
And sits so beautifully.
Where is that magic made,
That comes we celebrate?
How can we keep it here...
With us like this always?
How many bells will ring,
As carols are heard sung?
How many will make sure,
Goodwill is felt...
By everyone.
And stays.

Oh Christmas Night Oh Christmas Night
Oh Christmas night oh Christmas night
So quiet all and splendor
We celebrate Christ birth and might
With candle lights so tender
For on this night is born a king
The king of peace on earth
We glorify and humbly sing
About this child and holy birth
Oh Christmas night oh Christmas night
When night's around and dark
We find his love's a guiding light
And see his angels hark
We hope this time peace will bring
And guide our footsteps all
For he's the forth of everything
The protector of big and small
Oh Christmas night oh Christmas night
The spirits of love and greeting
When each love will burn on so bright
With kindness and good treating
We hope one day peace will arrive
For every life that's living
We must therefore still on strive
Remembering what Christmas is giving

The Season of Christmas
THE SEASON OF CHRISTMAS
Bright is the season of Christmas
As the snow settles white on the ground.
Frost sparkles rooftops and windows
Icicles dance all around.
Happy, the season of Christmas
As the sounds of good cheer fill the air.
Choirs sing the glad Christmas carols.
Laughter is heard everywhere.
There’s a fire waiting to warm us
As we dash in from the cold.
Trees wanting for tinsel,
Gifts needing bows.
Loving, the season of Christmas
As the folks find a way to be home
Joining the great celebration;
Jesus, the Christ child, is born

It's Christmas Time AGain
It's Christmas time again
To make that long list of things
Gifts for kids and friends
To bring out sweet smiles in them
It soothes the mind, hearts and souls of men
Listening to Christmas carols people sing
It brings real joys and gladness
In our hearts this Baby Jesus brings
Bright lights and colorful things we see
Everywhere and in green and white Christmas trees
All hearts are delightful and dancing
All merry to celebrate Baby Jesus' birthday once again
Merry Christmas to everyone! ! !

Carols Sing
Carols sing to the king
Jesus christ our saviour
Born this day, angels say
In a lowly manger
He came down to the earth
Bringing us new birth
Carols sing to the king
Jesus christ our saviour
Tidings bring! hail the king!
Shepherds did adore him
From afar, by the star
Wise men sought and found him
Son of god, son of man
All in all I see
Carols raise his name praise
He shall reign eternally
Carols sing to the king
Jesus christ our saviour

Christmas Lullaby
Its Christmas time
Its Christmas time
Peace on earth, this starry night.
I will sing my gift to you,
A Christmas lullaby.
I hold you close to me
Under twinkling lights.
Rock you softly as
The day turns into night.
The angels are listening...
Its Christmas time
Its Christmas time
Peace on earth, this starry night.
I will sing my gift to you,
A Christmas lullaby.
The wind blows gently
Whispering your name.
Somewhere bells are ringing,
It seems so far away.
The angels are listening...
Its Christmas time
Its Christmas time
Peace on earth, this starry night.
I will sing my gift to you,
A Christmas lullaby.
I hold you close to me
Near the candlelight.
You are sleeping
In my arms tonight.
Its Christmas time
Its Christmas time
Peace on earth, this starry night.
I will sing my gift to you,
A Christmas lullaby.
Its Christmas time

Peace on earth, this starry night.
I will sing my gift to you,

Christmas, Christmas
Whenever Christmas comes around
The people seem to be,
Full of love and brotherhood
as far as the eye can see.
Wouldn't it be much better
to act this way all year round
But Jesus is the reason
There's a Christmas.
Christmas, Christmas
Hear the angels sing.
He brought joy to the world
and salvation to all mankind.
Christmas cards and Christmas gifts
are everywhere in view.
Goodies and candy and stocking stuff,
the shoppers all wanting new.
They seem to miss just what it is
The greatest of all God's perfect gifts
It's Jesus, He's the reason
There's a Christmas.
Christmas, Christmas comes and goes
And with it the nations see
That there is a God that many know
Who gave them life eternally?
Wouldn't it be much better
if the whole world could know Him as He is?
It's Jesus, He's the reason
There's a Christmas

What Is Christmas?
Christmas is that hamlet small,
That offered haven to them all
That Judean night,
There came a light
To mend man's plight.
Christmas is that manger worn
Wherein the Son of God lay born
For you and me
So patiently
'Mid poverty.
Christmas is that shining star
That summoned magi from afar
Adore this King
Gifts to Him bring
While angels sing.
Christmas is that warming glow
That in man's heart begins to grow
Till we're full of
That gift of Love
From God above.

Where Angels Sing
This song was dedicated to valeria m.
Meet me downtown on the corner.
Ill be waiting in a big yellow cab.
Dont bring a suitcase.
You wont need a thing.
Therell be no worries.
Where angels sing.
I got my ticket in my hand.
Oh, the price is paid in full.
No man can stop me.
Their words wont sting you.
No dreams will haunt you.
Where angels sing.
I get so weary.
On this troubled road.
Unlock these chains.
And gently rock me home.
Beyond the clouds and the rain
Where angels sing.
Where angels sing.
Where lies cant hurt you.
The flesh desert me.
No in or out.
No loss or doubt.
No living with or doing without.
Where money aint the power king.
And kindness is the most precious thing.
Where angels sing.
Oh, where angels sing.
Where time means nothing.
No hustle.
No one rushing.
No dark of night.
No hate or spite.
No wrong or right.
No day or night.
No towns or no cities.
Theres no pain, no pity.
Where hunger is no longer.
And a good man just gets stronger.
Where angels sing.
Where angels sing.
Where angels sing.
Where angels sing.
Where angels sing.
Where angels sing.

Miseltoe And Wine
For those who say Christmas
Is the time of peace, you'd be right
Christians shall gather
For the years pass fast
It's A Time For Living
A Time Of for laughter
Time for Giving
most of All, A Time
Of Sharing
Cos for Christmas time
Means Miseltoe And Wine
For Children Singing Christian Rhymes
For logs on the fire
And gifts on the tree
It's Time toto rejoice
In the good that We See
For god sent his son
This time of year
Sees New Hope
We had waited so long
Now He is here!
Time To rejoice
To sing the chorus
A Time for Joy
A Time for song
And Forever after
And a time for all
Fighting to cease
Time to rejoice in the Good that we see
With Christmas Time
Miseltoe and Wine
Children Singing
Christian Rhymes
With Logs on the Fires
And gifts on the Tree
Time to rejoice in the good that we See

Have A Blessed Christmas
Have a blessed Christmas, with your family,
Enjoy your day so much, let your day be;
Filled with joy, and hope, singing, and fun,
May God be with you, till the day is done.
Have a happy Christmas, and hope, surprises come,
As you remember the birth of Gods only Son;
And sing the carols about the Christmas Story,
How the angels sang, to God be the Glory.
Have a Special Christmas, to the lonely and the old,
To the sick, and Dying, you deserve a gift of Gold;
But gold we think of the Wisemen who came,
To see The New born King, Jesus is His Name.

It Came Upon A Midnight Clear
Album: All Star Country Christmas [Hip-O]
It came upon the midnight clear,
That glorious song of old,
From angels bending near the earth
To touch their harps of gold:
Peace on the earth, good will to men,
From heaven's all-gracious King.
The world in solemn stillness lay
To hear the angels sing.
--- Instrumental ---
Look now! for glad and golden hours
Come swiftly on the wing;
O rest beside the weary road
And hear the angels sing!
Hear the angels sing!..

Something About Christmas
There is something about Christmas,
In Santa Claus and twinkling trees,
In the joy and laughter of every child,
People kneeling in prayer on arthritic knees.
There is something about Christmas,
Though many wishes and dreams may fail.
It is something we have learned to accept
Through each Yuletide trail.
There is something about Christmas,
Something that overwhelms the heart,
And it is displayed in every household
Of thoughtful and gentle people miles apart.
There is something about Christmas,
A magnificent day for old and young,
For it seems that people are more pleasant
When the traditional carols are sung.
There is something about Christmas,
A day of grace and visions of peace
And nothing on earth can destroy it.
Joy and peace on earth will never cease.
There is something about Christmas
When church bells ring and candles glow,
Signaling that Christ was born in a manger
In the holy city of Bethlehem - years ago.

Let It Be Christmas
Let it be Christmas everywhere
In the hearts of all people
Both near and afar
Christmas everywhere
Feel the love of the season where ever you are
On the small country roads
Lined with green mistletoe
Big city streets where a thousand lights glow
Let it be Christmas everywhere
Let heavenly music fill the air
Let every heart sing
Let every bell ring
The story of hope and joy and peace
And let it be Christmas everywhere
Let heavenly music fill the air
Let anger and fear and hate disappear
Let there be love that lasts through the year
And let it be Christmas, Christmas everywhere
Let it be Christmas everywhere
With the gold and the silver, the green and the red
Christmas everywhere
In the smiles of all children asleep in their beds
In the eyes of young babies
Their first fallen snow
The elderly's memories that never grow old
Let it be Christmas everywhere
Let heavenly music fill the air
Let every heart sing
Let every bell ring
The story of hope and joy and peace
And let it be Christmas everywhere
Let heavenly music fill the air
Let anger and fear and hate disappear
Let there be love that lasts through the year
And let it be Christmas, Christmas everywhere
Let it be Christmas everywhere
In the songs that we sing
And the gifts that we bring
Christmas everywhere
In what this day means
And what we believe
From the sandy white beaches
Where blue water rolls
Snow covered mountains and valleys below
Let it be Christmas everywhere
Let heavenly music fill the air
Let every heart sing
Let every bell ring
The story of hope and joy and peace
And let it b

Christmas without you
Baby you know its true
Christmas just ain't Christmas without you
I don't care about gifts or anything new
Cause Christmas just ain't Christmas without you
its just not Christmas without you...
Christmas day is near
I still wish you were here
I've been walking around
all over this town
the darkness of theses nights
are scared away with Christmas lights
that remind me of when I was a little boy
and all I wanted was that special toy
now its about my family and its joy
with nights colder than Atlanta
We got milk and cookies for Santa
you can even hear the carolers sing
sounds perfect but missing one thing
And baby You know its true
Christmas just ain't Christmas without you
I don't care about gifts or anything new
Cause Christmas just ain't Christmas without you
its just not Christmas without you...
we've got six inches of snow
and people kissing under the mistletoe
nights that feel so slow
and the days so long
everything's right but so wrong
kids in bed earlier than all year
waiting for Santa and his reindeer
Kids hoping this year they get all the right things
they run downstairs as soon as the alarm rings
the gifts are under the tree
but I still want you next to me
And baby You know its true
Christmas just ain't Christmas without you
I don't care about gifts or anything new
Cause Christmas just ain't Christmas without you
its just not Christmas without you...

and i want a car
and i want a life
and i want a first class trip to
Hawaii
I want a life time supply
Of Skittles and Slurpies and Eskimo pies
I want a DVD
A big screen TV

And I want everything
I just can't wait

Want a millon gifts
That's right
So don't forget my Christmas list tonight
Cause now it's Christmas
Somebody take me away
Or gimme a time machine to take me straight to midnight

A Playstaion 2

And no matter what I get tonight

I just can't wait
It's Chrismas
And I want everything

And I want everything
I just can't wait

Merry Christmas Strait To You
Its christmas time
I see the lines of people everywhere
Tryin to pick out the gifts
That show how much they care
It makes me wish that I could see my friends
On christmas day
And fill my list with lots of gifts
But I can only say
[chorus]
Here comes a merry chritmas strait to you
I hope it cheers you up when you are down and feelin blue
Right or wrong Ill sing my song
And you will know just who
Sings a merry christmas strait to you
Theres lot of ways to share the days
Of christmas with your friends
A christmas card, a tree that stars
And gifts that make you grin
Id like to share this song with everyone who came our way
Without a doubt the fires not out
It burns for you today
[chorus]
Here comes a merry christmas
And to all who might of missed us
A very merry christmas strait to you

I Heard The Bells
(henrey wadsworth)
I heard the bells on christmas day
Their old familiar carols play
And wild and sweet the words repeat
Of peace on earth, good will to men
I thought how, as the day had come
The belfries of all christendom
Had rolled along the unbroken song
Of peace on earth, good will to men
Then pealed the bells more loud and deep
God is not dead nor doth he sleep
The wrong shall fail, the right prevail
With peace on earth, good will to men
I heard a voice within me say
Do not despair this holy day
On christmas morn new hope is born
For peace on earth, good will to men
