725

725

thats the score of my credit
damn, im so proud
avoidin the debt that so many have allowed
i cant get laxed and go beyond my means
that 7 2 5
let me tell you what it means

one of the few in my family
to finally get right
to not buy the benz and live in the projects
thats just not right
my 725 makes my jetta like a rover
oh my credit, it stands strong like a soldier

dont laugh at my happiness
or try to bring down my high
because im so caught up in my 725
now you may laugh and say
whats the big fuss
your only 21...soon that number will hit the dust

well to those naysayers
who laugh at my seven hundred plus
i may be 21....but i know about stocks, bonds, and trust
im an educated man
about to graduate with my BA with an MA on the way
the costs Im savin already
i worked hard and kept my champagne desires at bay

that 725 will stay with me forever
my desire and determination to let it be
to not let those videos and magazines deter me
keep the rims on the escalades
keep the spoilers on the beemer
cuz my 725 is on my side, its a keeper

so i hope you remember my favorite number
its 725
i keep my eyes on my credit
like a sex aholic lookin at a thick gurl's thighs
watch out world
cuz im focused, with my big eyes opened wide
hard earned save money
it all started with a 725

Credit In The Straight World

And I will awake
Your highness- Im so high I cannot walk
And I will awake
You cripple, you take away my time, my peace, my empathy
No babies sleep on atrophy
Your unborn love and fetals dree
My bitter [ ] legless caress
Go for credit in the straight world
Look a dealer in the eye
Go for credit in the real world, wont you try?
I got some credit in the straight world
I lost a leg, I lost an eye
Go for credit in the real world you will die
Its the credit in the straight world
Leave your money when you die
Lots of credit in the straight world gets you high
I got some credit in the straight world
I lost a leg, I lost an eye
Go for credit in the real world, you will die

The 'Look-At-Me-And-What-I've-Got-Type

I've met a few snooty people in my days.
The ones who perceived themselves,
Better than others...
Because of a higher mortgage the had to pay.
Or the ones who bragged about their good credit.
And would announce the number of their credit cards,
To anyone for a quick display.

And those who were comfortable being who they are,
Always attracted my attention with admiration.
Those who were comfortable being who they are...
Were honest with themselves.
And to me this was a priceless possession.

People who talk about their stocks and bonds,
And investments they live on...
I don't fault them for what they believe is security.
People have their values and I respect that.
It is the ones self obsessed who appear to thrive best,
On masquerading their unhappiness....
With a projecting of pretentions the try to hide,
In a shallowness of emptiness.

The 'look-at-me-and-what-I've-got-type'.
You know...
The ones climbing down from their high horses,
Hoping not to be seen at night.
Since today the economy,
Has their mouths and lips shut firmly tight!

I've met a few snooty people in my days.
The ones who perceived themselves,
Better than others...
Because of a higher mortgage the had to pay.
Or the ones who bragged about their good credit.
And would announce the number of their credit cards,
To anyone for a quick display.

Well...
Those who were and 'still' comfortable being who they are,
Always attracted my attention with admiration.

Social Insecurity

Strapped Seniors use credit cards ‘stead of cash
To stay afloat, after losing their stocks n’ bonds
Yet more victims of another Wall Street crash
“Let them eat cake” is what the Fed responds

ROTMS

From Reuters Article 10/23/2010
Retired and broke: Why retirees are declaring bankruptcy

For more and more seniors, retirement doesn’t mean a debt-free life of leisure. An increasing number of Americans aged 65 and older are declaring bankruptcy, according to a recent study by John Pottow, professor of law at the University of Michigan Law School.
Those aged 65 and older represented seven percent of bankruptcy filers in 2007, a mind-boggling jump from 1991. They are the “fastest-growing age demographic, ” according to Pottow’s study.
What’s the culprit for so much debt? Credit cards. Two-thirds of Americans who filed for bankruptcy said credit cards were the key reason for their financial problems, according to Pottow’s research. Besides having more credit card debt compared with younger bankruptcy filers,44.8 percent of those aged 65 and older also had more plastic in their wallets. “They’re using credit cards as a maladaptive coping mechanism, ” Pottow says.
Stephanie Osterland, a supervisor in the bankruptcy department at GreenPath debt solutions, sees an increasing number of seniors living beyond their means. Says Osterland: “They’re just trying to live off of a fixed income, and that’s usually Social Security. Maybe they have a small pension. We find they’ve used credit cards to supplement that income and expenses or they just end up getting into a lot of medical debt.”
In addition to escalating medical expenses, seniors have seen their portfolios hit hard by the lagging stock market. Carolyn Rodi of Saving Your American Dream says those considering bankruptcy should see a credit counselor at a non-profit organization to get their finances in order.
Credit counselors, such as those at GreenPath, help the elderly deal with a stressful situation. “We try to help them focus on what it’s going to look like” after they get out of debt, Osterland says.
Rodi also recommends that potential bankruptcy filers seek out pro-bono legal aid. “There are a lot of elderly people that are being taken advantage of by bankruptcy attorneys and mortgage brokers who are advising them improperly to pay for the bankruptcy, take out a reverse mortgage or to do things that aren’t in their best interest, ” she says. ”If you have no income, why should you borrow to pay someone when you can get free legal aid? ”
What are the chances of a senior paying off his or her debts? It’s difficult to determine, especially because seniors tend to be on a fixed income. And while finding a job — such as a WalMart greeter — seems like a viable option, it is not necessarily feasible for all seniors to work.
In addition, whether or not a person declares Chapter 7 (which involves the liquidation of one’s assets) or Chapter 13 (which allows debt restructuring) bankruptcy can be a significant factor in determining what one’s lifestyle will be. “If you have to file for Chapter 7 bankruptcy, you may be able to find affordable housing that allows you to just get by, ” says Rodi. “Chapter 13 lets you keep your house and doesn’t touch your retirement savings.”
Regardless, filing for bankruptcy is very stressful for anyone. “A lot of our clients in that post-retirement age have a hard time coming to grips with their situation, ” Osterland says. “It’s very emotional for them. We try to focus on the future and see if this debt can be lifted off their shoulders.”

Until Again The Gloss Wears Off

Money motivators,
Chase it as if craved.
With only one thing on their minds...
How to keep sentimentally kept teasured clutter,
With an updated sameness.
That maintains a 'living within their means mentality'.

This affords them an opportunity,
To activate a rearrangement of a thought process...
That tolerates new complaints!

Until again the gloss wears off.
No matter what the hidden cost,
That comes to satisfy...
Within unchanged limitations.

And a credit score that is boasted about,
Among friends.

'I do not want 'anything'...
Absolutely nothing,
To affect my good credit rating.
I find it is advantageous,
However...
To only use any of my credit cards,
Only while out shopping to purchase bargains!
And I've got a houseful of those.'

Waiting For The Big One

The wines all drunk and so am i
Here with the hoi-poloi, dont ask me why
Were celebratin anticipatin; end of the year
Everybody come, everybody here
-- well more or less
Some already in a mess
I guess theyre waiting for the big one.
Wonder why Im cold. how did I get this far?
Had no money, had no car
I pray the snow goes, be bad if it settles
cos I follow my nose and the dried up rose petals
-- like the man says,
Sure hope moses knows his roses
Or well all be waiting for the big one.
Once I was a credit to my credit card
Spent what I hadnt got, it wasnt hard
No trust in judgements no trust in money
Someday Ill find myself like a bee finding honey
But in the meantime, Im gonna have me some fun
Waiting for the big one.
One too many, where ego I go too
Looking for the real thing
It dont come from what I do
No real communication moves out of my face
Im beginning to think Im just out of place
Wont get in too deep, I want to get some sleep
To be ready for the big one
-- waiting for the big one.

Laugh

Love laughed at you and made you blue
Now heres what you should do
Well laugh, though your heart is breaking in two
Yeah laugh, dont let them know he hurt you
Well laugh and pretend true love will come again
Yeah laugh, laugh and laugh
Laugh, though the one you love is really gone
Yeah laugh, even though youll be alone
Yeah laugh and pretend true love will come again
Yeah laugh, laugh and laugh
Well let me hear you laugh now
Though its hard, so hard for you to do
Laugh with me, cos you see
Ive been there too
Well laugh and pretend true love will come again
Yeah laugh and believe its not the end
Yeah laugh like a clown
Dont let your heart break down
Yeah laugh, laugh and laugh
Love laughed, its true
But look at you
Now youre laughing too

Damn

This old world well
Dont make you wanna think damn
This cold girl well
Dont she make you wanna scream, damn
Whats the matter girl
Dont you think Im good enough
This old hearts had a whole lot of breakin down
Shes got all these reasons in her head
(chorus 1)
All that time she knew if I lied
You can bet she will
Shes taken her time til I thought I would
Die
And I cant sit still
Things got turned round
Dont know where I started from, damn
Cant eat, cant sleep
Could have been a bigger man, damn
Whats the matter girl dont you think im
Bright enough
This old man had a hard time getting here
You can leave your number at the door
(chorus 1)
And theres nothing at all
Yeah theres nothing at all
Well theres nothing at all
To make her change her mind
This old house been quite since
You went away, damn
Mixed up fixed out
Dont forget who got you here, damn
Whats the matter world
Dont you see I opened up
This whole part been played by another man
I pulled out the reason card instead
(chorus 1)
(chorus 2)
Says she can find
The things that make up a life
I bet she will
She stays behind, I could stay here all night
I could stay here until
Until theres nothing at all
Yeah theres nothing at all
Well theres nothing at all
To make her change her mind

Fundamental of Liar Chapter XXII: Laugh

there's laugh, forced laugh
laugh, gentle rejection without word
laugh, looking sympathy with laugh
laugh but actually doesn't laugh
hiding anger, hiding pain
cheerful laugh but alone inside
why you try hard to impress people?
tired and wounded more
laughing your foolish joke
and crying life in the dark room
laugh for yourself
laugh with your heart
and you'll never regret to try an honest laugh

The Hoax

when someone emails you
that he has 3 million pounds
and he is giving
all of it to you,

will you believe him?

you ask me
if i believe him too?

alright, i may believe him
and give my name
and address and telephone number
my status, my other
particulars
even my credit card number

and you will say
OH MY GOD
how gullible can i be!

well, it does not really
matter
all these, my name, my address
and telephone number
and other particulars
even my credit card number
and ATM PIN

all these
are fakes too
exactly just like him
and his 3 million pounds

you see,
i was also not born yesterday

You and Me. I laugh. (what you do to yourself)

You are you,
And I am me,
But you came to me,
And my friends,
You came into our arms,
when you were new,
Then you found THEM,
You left us for them,
You went to their side.
I look at you now and I laugh.
Not because your weird,
Or your dumb,
But because of your future.
I am me,
I know where i am in life.
I know my plan for the future,
I know I want to go to college,
And then graduate,
And be successful,
I know I have friends who really care and love me,
I work to get what I want,
I don't wait for it to be given to me,
Or wait to loose the chance of earning it,
Like you.
I don't go out and party all night,
I don't get laid whenever i want,
I don't blow off homework,
Or set it off till later,
I do it then and there,
I get it out of the way,
Then I go out and have fun with my friends,
Yet i do not drink,
I do not get high,
I keep my mind safe,
I save the memories I make,
I don't throw them away.
Like you.
So I do not laugh at your cloths,
I do not laugh at you,
I laugh at your future,
I laugh at your choices and thoughts,
I laugh at your ideas of having fun.
Wasting your mind,
Wasting your life,
Forgetting and loosing your memories,
Wasting your money,
Wasting your friendships,
wasting your time,
This is your fun,
This is your life.
Keeping my mind,
Keeping my life,
Remembering and keeping my memories,
Saving my money,
Cherishing my friendships,
Using my time for friendship family and love,
This is my fun,
This is my life.
I laugh at you.
Someday I will read about in the paper or see you on the news,
I will see a mug shot,
Or hear about your 'untimely' death,
See you on the street,
Steeling from a store,
Or dressed in gold and diamonds that you bought with money you didn't earn,
and I will laugh.
I will be the one with the baby on my hip,
The loving husband by my side,
The home of a modest family,
I good job,
And friends,
I will be the one who is truly happy,
I will be the successful one,
I will be the one who is truly rich,
I will be the one who is free,
Not running from the world,
Or trying to run ahead of it,
I will be the one with the sense of mind,
And modesty,
I will be the one who helps by doing what i can,
Not being who I can't.
I will be the one with a life,
I will be the one who is famous,
Not you.
You dont have to be in the news,
Or have lots of money,
Or know the 'right people',
to be famous,
You may have money,
And the press following you,
But I will be more rich then you,
I will have the life you don't have,
I will have a family who loves me for me,
I will have a job I love and that keeps me going,
I will have true friends who go through anything with me.
I will be rich.
So you come to me and my friends,
Looking for refuge,
Until you find THEM,
Then you leave and through your life away.
And as I pass the path you now walk,
I look and I think of what you're doing,
I think of who you are now,
I think of what you have become,
and I laugh.

Number One Man

Number one man
Well, five long years and then there it go
He met his friends, and took that bonding road
Never knew where the road would end up, no, no
Sometimes it feels like hell to me, yea
I gotta keep it together cuz its good for me
(chorus)
Sometimes you make me laugh
Sometimes you can make me cry
But I know that I love you
Your a very good friend of mine
Even though we may have fights
We know its a part of life
Wouldnt trade it for nothin
Just trust in me, youll always be
My number one man, yea
I have no questions, so there is no answers, uh-uh
Whats to be, is meant to be, oh yes it is
But it feels like treason, every time I reason
Found me parting ways with you
So tell me, whats a girl to do
I guess Im stuck with you, yea
(chorus)
The part of life remains the same
That you made me see, just what it means to me
To have someone that you can count on
When things are right, and sometimes wrong
What a small price to pay
I bless the day you came my way
(chorus)
My man
My number one man
I said you always gonna be my man, yeah
My number one man ohhh, yea
Said your gonna always always gonna be my number one man

Credits and discredits

To love back one who loves you
Is not a credit that you deserve.
It is a debt cleared.

To love one who doesn’t love you
Is not a credit that you deserve.
It is your investment.

To love one on sexual ground
Is not a credit that you deserve.
It is to feed your hunger.

Though you deserve no credit,
If you don’t employ such loves
You will get discredits.

It Only Makes Me Laugh

I dont know why I feel this way
I dont know if its right or wrong to laugh at misfortune
Darkness can never last too long
Every time I think Im falling
And theres nobody around to hold me up
And it seems like the world has come to an end
I look for miles but not a face is friendly
Then suddenly a hole opens up in the ground
The bottom of the hole is a raging fire
I try to jump over but theres no way
The next thing I know, Im going down
(chorus)
Does it hurt?
Oh, it really doesnt matter
Does it burn?
Oh, I dont feel a thing
Does it sting?
Oh, yeah, it really doesnt matter
Does it hurt?
Oh, I dont give a damn
When I find myself falling and I hit the bottom
It only makes me laugh
It only makes me laugh
When I go down the hole and I hit the bottom
The last time that I fell in love
The love was milk and honey but the milk turned sour
The woman became a monster
And everyone I knew had become a stranger
And the room went black and my luck was spent
The floor opened up, down I went
(repeat chorus)
It only makes me laugh
It only makes me laugh
It only makes me laugh
Coming right back
Coming right back
cause you cant keep me down
Cant keep me down
Oh, in the ground
Does it hurt?
Oh, it really doesnt matter
Does it burn?
Oh, I dont feel a thing
I dont mind just a little pain
Ooh, oh yeah
Whoa...
Remembering when I was a young man
How everything seemed to turn against me
I didnt know a soul, it was an alien place
The sun was covered by a dark cloud
And though I tried, I couldnt find a way to escape
The only way to go was straight down
(repeat chorus)
It only makes me laugh
It only makes me laugh
It only makes me laugh
It only makes me laugh
I dont know why I feel this way
I dont know if its right or wrong to laugh at misfortune
Darkness can never last too long...
When you laugh in its face
When you laugh in its face
I dont know why I feel this way...

Laugh Clown laugh,
that's what they want me to do.
I guess I'm doing something right
because this Clown made you laugh too.
Laugh Clown laugh,

Besides, Who would it hurt?
Will anyone notice
how it has scarred?
Laugh Clown laugh,
but only for a while,
at least until you see
that the humor is in your denial.

Billy The Kid

Well I heard you in the back room
Your friends had a laugh on me
Passed my name through the cantina
Yeah your face was hard to read
Something in your demeanor
Should of given you away
But I was desperate for a friend
I was getting used to making mistakes
Well I went down hard
Like billy the kid
Yeah, I went down hard
Yeah, but I got up again
I remember you my baby
I remember you so well
And your house out in the suburbs
You had your wishing well
They say be careful who you believe
Be careful who you trust
Did you smile when you pulled the trigger
That dropped me in the dust
Well, I went down hard
Like billy the kid
Yeah, I went down hard
Yeah, but I got up again
Well, you caught me in the bedroom
Cotton fever in a sweat
I was fighting for recovery
But I wasnt giving up yet
You offered no assistance
Yeah, you looked at me and you lied
Oh it really stunned me
When you went to the other side
I went down hard
Like billy the kid
Yeah, I went down hard
Oh, but I got up again
