2010/08/05 Sweet Laughter
They looked up, Alligator and Crocodile,
and saw the most beautiful face smiling
at them, the lovely face of the rain queen
softly laughing, they heard the copper rings
clanging on the queen’s dancing feet, they
heard her sweet laughter within the weather’s
rumbling, she slowly advanced, spreading the
grey blanket of her life-giving veil, spun of clouds
thick and blue, building to purple and black, gone
was the sun, its fiery hue quenched by clouds
rolling on, and softly, mischievously, the rain
spread its mists as the rain queen danced
demurely at first, then wilder and wilder, more exciting,
enticing, Alligator and Crocodile joined in the dance, the
little folk of the plains, everyone, joined in the dance
hands clapping, feet drumming, voices lifted in song:
The rain is come, the rain is come, the rain queen is
here and listens to our song – The rain is come
Oh joy and love, joy and life, joy for evermore!

February Rain
To be the mud, the bog, the mire;
To soak the bones in February –
Eons from the autumn shower–
Even from a summer berry!
Sparrows chirp a desperate call,
Darting questions at the cows –
Oblivious to the dousing squall, they
Churn the sludge with pastern ploughs.
The crying air was lost in rhythm:
Drums incessant in the drops;
Not a chance for rainbow prism –
Even if the hammering stops!
Metallic chills entrap machines –
Tractors hushed within the shed.
Inside the house, a full cuisine
To bless with mead – and little said!
But out across the tiring field,
A sodden fox is hunting down
His prey of sorts – but nil of yield;
Perhaps he’ll starve; perhaps he’ll drown.
Still the clouds are hammering,
Hammering home their dreary aim –
A chatterbox in constant yammering,
Drenching all to make a claim.

Dancing Rain Fairy In The CourtYard
The rain came down light that day
It seemed like each dropp was a small
Delicate foot dancing across the courtyard
I wish I could’ve joined in that
Dance of the rain drops and then
For a moment I thought I saw a fairy
She was beautiful with astonishing wings
Her hair was short but a beautiful auburn
With a simple dress of green and blue
I rub my eyes and blink to see her gone
And replaced with a good friend of mine
She runs to the doors slightly soaked
Bursting through the doors she dances and tells her
Tale of being a rain fairy dancing freely in her
Song of rain drops that is more beautiful than anything
I smile and tell her we must dance together in
The rain one day so that I too can experience
The joy of being a dancing rain fairy one day
Sadly I wasn’t able to join you my friend for I
Had left and even though today you will dance
Like the fairy you were last time I’ll be inside

Enfold In Her Cool Caress
Today I did not feel guilty for being me,
for every idiosyncrasy, for every dream
and vision I cherished in the face of all
the demands to the contrary, requiring
ice-cold sang-froid and an eye diligently
kept on all the scary events in reality
I did not look at a newspaper to enjoy
feeling threatened by news events, I
looked at the sky instead and saw a
beautiful pantomime in the clouds, the
sun led a colourful, though coy, dance
in which he frequently ran away
Leaving his subjects forlorn in the grey,
whenever he showed his laughing rays
I rejoiced in the world born anew - and
suddenly the sky remained overcast and
it looked like rain, the perfect ending
to the perfect day, the sun gave up
The sceptre allowing the clouds to take
control of the air, their promise palpable,
the approach of the rain queen and her
exciting dance that would change the face
of the land, she will spread her grey mantle
And enfold all in her cool caress while
dancing raindrops will joyously splash
down everywhere...

Life is A Dance In The Rain
It's raining, it's quiet, only i can hear the rain,
Freshness of air is invading my breath,
The echo of drops falling, the purity of the sky,
It's giving me peace and relieves my pain.
Sky get open and crying,
Its tears are falling down to us,
To caress our faces with its drops,
To embrace our hearts with the mistery of life.
I want to embrace the rain,
And feel the drops falling on my face,
I want the rain to wash away my sorrows,
And let my fears run away.
Don't be afraid of rain, we are just two souls dancing,
Dance with me following the rhithm of rain,
Let the rain to make our love magic,
Let life to flow in its misterious way.
I am listening the rain and enjoy its greatness,
I want to catch every dropp of rain,
I want to dance with you in this magic landscape,
I want to live and relive this moment again and again.
Enjoy life, live fully every moment you can,
Do not waste those exciting moments,
Come with me and let's dance,
