I have written
And I have written sorrow many times
Yet never cried
These tears
I have written laughter in sunspilt skies
Though kept my laughter hidden out of view
And what you see, you who see these words?
What you see is true, yet not all true
For words hang in the air
Under a vacant sky
Leaving no trace or sign or clue
Of what is lived
Of what is breathed
And concieved
In every careful wording of an 'I'
In every other that finds a 'you'
I have written sorrow many times
With eyes unwept
For fallen trees and generations gone
Keeping their secrets and their brokeness
In all that cannot tell itself
Yet travels in the silence between what is said
And what is dead, and what is gone

A Hundred Times Over
A hundred times over words have flowed through my fingers to the keys
A hundred times over I have released the freedom that is in my mind,
A hundred times over I have become one with my inter most longing,
A hundred times over I have taken a journey to show you my own world.
A hundred times over I have written of pain and life, of sorrow and joy,
A hundred times over I have used my art to show you what's in my mind
A hundred times over again I will show you.
A hundred times over I have cried for those, whose names are untold,
A hundred times over I have showed you their pain.
A hundred times over I have become their connection to you,
A hundred times over I have showed you the beauty of our world,
A hundred times over I have taken you somewhere you may never see,
A hundred times over my words have screamed the horror of darkness,
A hundred times over I have sung to you the beauty of light,
A hundred times over I have taken your hand to lead you to a new place
A hundred time over I have written for those who have no words to write
A hundred times over I have tried to show truth in a world of lies,
A hundred times over I have have tried to show the world's beauty,
A hundred times over again I will lead down these paths,
A hundred times over and over again I will show you reality,
A hundred times over and over again I shall show you my world,
A hundred times over and over again until you have memorised truth,
A hundred times over again until you can repeat what I have told,
A hundred times over again shall I create an art of words, time, of life.
A hundred times over again I shall do this,
A hundred times over again.
A hundred times over.

My Words To Be Written
Words can be said, they can be written
they can be funny or sad or informed
words are sought after by everyone
papers, scripts, books, letters or texts
they can gossip, tattle or lie
honest, trust worthy, confusing
written to story or rhyme to rhythm
they can be found in our minds
written or printed they are strong
brought together the bring magic
imaginations, fantasy, real life
many stories and songs by words
have touched the soul with in
my words are to enlighten and entertain your mind
to put you in places we never dreamed
and to think I could of done that
my words to you is my soul to share
written with love, hate and sorrow
take the time to enjoy the words
words make ours dreams come true

How Many Non- Beautiful Poems Must Be Written
How many non-beautiful poems must be written
Before one beautiful poem can emerge?
How many longings for love must a person know
Before their one true love comes?
How many times must one love one’s true love
Before one can never bear to be again without that Ecstasy?
How many times must one sense that Ecstasy gone
Before one knows that she is forever lost?
How many pleading meaningless words must be spoken to return her
Before one knows that she has forever gone?
How many words must be written
Before there is one true poem?
And how many poems must be said to one’s love
Before she listens and denies and goes far away to her own poem
Only she and not the one who has loved her with all his soul
Will ever know and be at home with?

A Child's Death
God the Lord has taken
Though He has given too;
For in your times of sorrow
God shows His love for you.
God's love will bring you joy
God's joy will never cease
'cause when you know the love of God
You then know inward peace.
These words I speak to you dear friends
To quieten all your fears;
For by God's Spirit your sorrow I share
I've prayed for you with tears.
And as I prayed God's Spirit groaned
Within my troubled breast,
God told me it was 'by His love
that he would give you rest.'
Your sorrow will be turned to joy
You shall find peace I know
'cause when you seek the risen Christ
His love constrains you so.
Let us praise God for His giving
And for His taking too;
For in your times of sorrow -
God makes known His love for you.

words celebrating what is written
beware allure of beauty in words written
seek instead words thoughts not written

In Translation
Arriving with no intepretator
Leaving with signals and signs
On the elevator
In the pressed drudged crowds
Filled by the strangeness of infatuation
Your first arrival
Under the flash of a neon ray
Leaving with the wrong signs
In your back pocket
The price tags and the labels
As if heaven was an eternal shopping mall
And hell was a supermarket checkout queue
Missing the signs and the cues
Leaving in an unfamiliar way
Unexpected
The wisest words are always spoken by children
Before reading and learning

There Is A Poem About Poetry
THERE IS A POEM ABOUT POETRY
There is a Poem about Poetry
That has never been written
It waits somewhere hoping to be heard
It has in it all the Beauty of words
And all the silence no sounds can ever bring
Its Beauty has a Laughter and a Love
Only exuberant and exalted words can know
It is sacred and holy as psalms of praise
And was written by the Creator
Long before Writing had a Name.

Laughter Turns To Tears
Makeup on your shoulder silence in the air
Tonight those telltale signs are everywhere
As you lay beside her talkin' in your dreams
The game is up and laughter turns to tears
Every time you phone her with a dumb excuse
She starts to think that she's outgrown her use
You'll be home by midnight workin' late it seems
The penny drops and laughter turns to tears
Do you think she's crazy
Don't you think she knows
Do you think she's taken in
Don't you think it shows
When laughter turns to tears
Laughter turns to tears
You can send her roses say she's lookin' great
You can talk of love but it may be too late
You may think she's jokin' as her laughter teems
But with tears
And laughter turns to screams
chorus
Now it won't be easy
Finding words to say
how you really feel inside
You take the game away
When laughter turns to tears
Laughter turns to tears
One day it's gonna shake you up
Take you by surprise
Someday it's gonna wake you up
Tears in your eyes
When laughter turns to tears
Laughter turns to tears x2

The Sorrow Of Words
The sorrow of words that rarely tell themselves
They sail like brightly coloured balloons
Lost in their own universe
They spin off the edge of a tongue
kissing air and emptiness
Seldom filling loneliness
Leaving their sound like a symphony
A faint noise hanging in the air
Somewhere in the back of my mind
The radio is playing
A song I used to know

Say Goodbye
Ive seen and done it all, it seems
Ive cried for all its worth a few times
I lived and loved in search of truth
Ive seen a lot of pain, oh, oh, oh
To finally realize, the reason for this life
Is to say goodbye to sorrow
Dont hang on to the tears we borrow
Say goodbye to sorrow and feel
That we are so free
We are free
Ive seen the bottom once or twice
Ive soared above the earth as suddenly
Ive made a few mistakes its true
Ive seen enough of hate, oh, oh, oh
To finally realize theres not much more to life
Than to say goodbye to sorrow
Dont hold on to the fears we borrow
Just say goodbye to sorrow and feel
That we are so free
We are free
We may long for happiness
Pray to God that we be blessed
Save us from this loneliness
After all that Ive been through
I believe the thing to do
Is to look inside of you
And just say goodbye to sorrow
Dont give up all the years weve borrowed
Say goodbye to sorrow and feel
That we are so free
We are free

Sorrow
Oh, how the mighty one has fallen!
In scarlet and in luxury but more than pains,
In the City called Adam with no glory,
To the fields of swords and to the fields of sorrow with words!
For, the mighty one fell with a clue,
And like the dead of many in the land of mines.
Tell me, how beautiful were your tents? ! !
Upon the throne of the kingdom and of words;
For, in the spring timew of the year came the war.
This blow is swifter than the claws of the eagles!
And, it is also stronger than the lonely lion in the thick forest of Africa;
But, like the poor man's little lamb in the land of trouble.
Oh, how the mighty one has fallen!
On the crags of the wild goats with honey and butter;
But, with one little ewe lamb to walk across.
My legs are like the legs of the deer in the forest of hope!
But, in the fields of sorrow are many dead bodies;
And, the City called Adam is now with no glory.
Oh, how the great one has fallen!
In the cave of jealousy with words of sorrow;
But, out of many waters without a view! !
And like the scarlet and the luxury to the sword.
Oh, that somebody would guide and give me a drink of water! !
From the wells of Bethlehem with the sign of hope;
For, there are many dead bodies already in the land of mines.

Blue Skies Bring Tears
Unleash the armageddon
So all the children go to heaven
I sit by quiet still
With their pictures on my eyes
You'll draw the guns your given
Write down the words as written
And never disturb the presense
Of resurrection touch
And it's about time
It's about drawing near
Blue skies bring tears
Blue skies bring tears
Blue skies bring tears
Descend the darkened stairway
Make hate with plastic playmates
And fire out remaining traces
Of your self esteem
Mainline the deepest secrets
Lick clean the dirty fingers
I am a stranger to you
As you are to yourself
And it's about time
It's about fear
Blue skies bring tears
Don't you want me (don't want you)
Cause I await cityside
We'll watch the seas start to die
Blue skies bring tears
Take me inside your body
Blue skies bring tears
Cover me with your soul
Blue skies bring tears
To the darkest reasons
Blue skies bring tears
Is where I wish to go
Blue skies bring tears
You are the sweetest flower
Blue skies bring tears
That I have ever devoured
Blue skies bring tears
I ask for nothing given
Blue skies bring tears
For nothing in return
Blue skies bring tears
Blue skies bring tears
Blue skies bring tears
Blue skies bring tears
Blue skies bring tears
Blue skies bring tears
Blue skies bring tears
Blue skies bring tears
Blue skies bring tears
Blue skies bring tears
Blue skies bring tears
Blue skies bring tears
Blue skies bring tears
Blue skies bring tears
Blue skies bring tears
Blue skies bring tears

Dreadful Tears
Rolling down from eyes tears,
Twisted with sorrow and bliss,
Hunt words to words to kiss,
Lines to lines to create verse,
Heart gently transposes tears to eyes,
And melting sorrow and bliss like an ice,
Crystal transparent tears in eyes screen,
Betwixt sorrow and bliss shed, fade tears
Tears shares and contribute an hour…
When ever sorrow and bliss occur …
Innocent heart showers, emotion tears,
Departing and meeting tale, tears bears
Tears true friend of loneliness, never withers,
When ever there is pain and bliss always shares,
Tears inside eyes with emotion thread weave…
Delicate and tender, fragile like spider web

Poem
This poem is a gift
Free words
Under the stench of a barbed wire world
Flowers that live on
After the flowers have been blown from the graves
In the midst of war
These words are a gift
A balm for the poor hungry mouth
To feed on
After the nightmare of carnage
Of lines written in blood
On broken walls
Where fathers and their families lie
Still and swollen in unmarked plots
These words are a gift
They are free
Washing the wounds
Making speech live on
Even after so much darkness
They are the lightness
Bringing light

Some will learn through pain and sorrow, others through joy and laughter, so it is written.
Love is blind
People say foolishly
Loving you is a crime,
My eyes cried,
Listening this brutal rhyme,
You are dearest,
For my soul every time,
And I died several times
Listening sour words like lime.
Watching your lovely eyes,
Is like watching a heart touching accident,
Your every single tear,
Makes me restless cent percent,
But these insane people,
Doesn't understand what I meant,
& I am sure one day,
They will definitely repent.
I can't even think,
of leaving you,
Already cried so many times,
and tears are still due,
I told them love doesn't see cast barrier,
& it's a clue,
But they beat you,
because of our love and its true.
You came back again for me,
my heart again cried,
Watching your scars,
you don't know how many times I died,
Just to be with you,
Several times I lied,
So now, how to live with you,
Someone has to guide.
Is it my fault,
That you are a monkey,
Can't I love a creature,
Even if it is a donkey,
I just love you,
Because you are more pranky.
When you dance,
From one branch to another,
I open my arms,
As if a player prepares to gather,
Can't we enjoy the life,
being together,
But these people say,
please don't be with monkey forever.
In the end they say,
you might jump & disappear soon,
How will they climb trees,
because it's like reaching the moon,
They say better love a donkey,
As he can be found in noon,
At one more thought,
They say better love a famous cartoon.

Words
Words on this paper
Words in my head
Words while I'm texting
Computing
Unsaid
Words between people
Words on the phone
Words upon words
Even when I'm alone
Words from the Bible
I question
Don't mesh
Words from pornography
Making them flesh
Words with flat letters
Written in black
Good words and bad words
You cannot take back
Words that are shallow
Words that are deep
When they're too many
They put me to sleep
Words that I'm writing
And rhyming you read
Whatever I'm saying
There's prolly no need
Words from the alphabet
Words that can't be
When you are blind
And it's Braile that you see
Words that are worthless
And said on the fly
My words or your words
Are most likely lies
Words in a sentence
Wise words or fair
The only words earnest
Are those said in prayer

A Code Of Silence
When the spoken words
Cease to tenderly caress her ears
And without any fears,
A poet's hand grabs a magic pen
To write lovely stanzas,
The ones that cannot be erased,
Since they were inspired by her name.
An inspiration that from heaven came
Dedicated to the Angel behind the violin,
The essence of my everything...
A code of silence is born
Reaching the point of no return...
Only written words remain,
A love-message spread around the world,
Traveling through sunshine, snow and rain,
Describing times well spent
And the secret of her scent...
Nothing said or done was in vain,
She became the center of my universe,
A love so passionate and so intense,
But destiny left its clear trace,
With time, things completely changed...
Finding myself drown in silence
In my chamber of solitude,
Navigating in a wild ocean
Of written words and thinking of her...

Silence
The silence gives me a tongue,
That I have not yet learnt to speak with
It suffers the drip drip dripping of the tap
In this dry urban flat
Before the rain has fallen
Silence gives me a tongue
That I have not learnt to speak with
It reaches beyond the language
More sacred than a prayer
More wise than holiness 'itself'
We do not worship it
Or see it's God like form in the 'shook gold of a sun rising'
Much softer than the sweetest kiss
Much older than a year in which we have lived
It knows no grief or sorrow
Only the joy of harmony
Reaching beyond each root beginning
Each form ending
Like eternity in one breath
One life still unfolding
[beneath all we know]
