Clock

Unmoved, move hands shaped twain
Wound in metal optic nerves,
To wisdom, beauty, love and youth
As if all heaven condensed, allied,

With stealthy minutes creep
As eternal breath itself, alive
That owns not man's dominion
Yet he owns to it his passing years.

In The Field Of Absence

in the field of absence
i may find you

as a flower
or a a worm

of someone else
as i stare

at the clouds
asking who owns you

and who owns me
finally i nod

at all the leaves
meeting me

someone owns
you
the western wind

no one owns me
as i decide
to fly east

where the wind
is as soft as silk

i have grown
a pair of wings

you ask
what for?

i am flying away.

you ask
why?

i have no answer
but it is this

why that moves
everything

inside me
i ask too: why?

it keeps on moving
it is silent

it is bitter
it is as deep as a

black river.

Daughter

Witness to
Her jaunts
Others romped.
Undeterred by the glares,
Sailed.........
As no tumult
Was there.
Calm,
Around
Expressions,
In serenity abound
Unrest.....?

Content
No contempt
Relent
No repent
When did she pretend?

Soft palms
For finger searched
That first step
Her own step
Her own
Which
She,
Only she owns.
Still owns
And
Because she owns
She is she
And the world
Around
Deep, deep
In crises of identity
Hounds.

The world that owns your talents

The world that owns your talents,
The world that owns your breath-
The world will not make up its mind,
Till you have tasted death.

The world will hold your body,
The world cradle your bones;
The world which offers nothing
Might give your words a home.

A Piece of Sky

No one can own a color; no one can own a cloud.
No one on Earth could ever, I'm glad it's not allowed!
No person owns a person, though some may think they do.
No person owns the ocean; I know this to be true!
I cannot own a sparrow, I cannot own a tree.
Even in my own backyard they don't belong to me!
No one can own the starlight; no one can own the sun.
No person owns a river, it simply can't be done!
No one can own a desert, the planets or their moons.
We’re all just One Race: Human, same words with many tunes!
No one may claim ownership to TEAR or SMILE or SIGH!
Or take away your DREAMS so...

He Who Owns the Universe

Glorious is our Lord,
In his station up above,
Glorious, the one adored,
With his endless flow of love.

He who owns the heavens,
The earth and planets far,
He who owns the universe,
Sun, moon and each bright star.

We are but a speck,
In his wide and wondrous hands,
We are but a fleck,
In his wide and pleasant lands.

He will always constant be,
Our guardian at our side,
He will always be continually,
Our Saviour and our guide.

An Inky Octopus Gripping Evil

evil never sleeps
evil owns the night
evil owns the day

evil walks day proud
owning many properties
wall street stock options

evil owns the night
owns secrets in the night
owns secrets sold by night
in many purchased places

evil has its patch
evil has many patches
an evil patch for every trade
evil buries innocence with a spade

an evil patch may be but
a few fought over city blocks
syndicated global patches
are octopus evil tentacles

some evil patches
are bigger spread
than many countries
evil marries drugs

makes mega money
addicts inject honey
drug withdrawal cold turkey
evil error terminates abruptly

Tennessee Owns My Soul

Orbison dees
Talk about troubles, I tell you I got em shovellin sand on the mississipi bottom
Yeah yeah yeah, yeah yeah yeah
I killed me a man in shelby county, they turned me in for the government bounty
Yeah yeah yeah, yeah yeah yeah
Tennessee owns my soul, that little georgia gal just wouldnt listen
She tried to run away with stoney lee I caught him and I put him six feet under
I wonder if he misses me? tennessee owns my soul
Rottin in a cell I try to forget her, wishin like hell Id never ever met her
Yeah yeah yeah, yeah yeah yeah
Gotta get away, gotta see my baby, gotta leave tonight, shes drivin me crazy
Yeah yeah yeah, yeah yeah yeah
Tennessee owns my soul, if I can get as far as lookout mountain
Highway twenty four will carry me to the girl I killed another man for
Even then I know I wont be free, tennessee owns my soul
I make it to the top of the twenty foot wall, the guard - Im hit, and I think Im gonna fall
Yeah yeah yeah, yeah yeah yeah
Laying on a broken back and cryin, everythings goin black and Im dyin
Yeah yeah yeah, yeah yeah yeah tennessee owns my soul, tennessee owns my soul

Who Owns My Heart

Who owns my heart?
Go owns my heart of course
Because he fills my heart with love everyday
So that my heart can run smooth
Just the same way us the car but except that the car runs on gasoline
And not my heart
But what happens when my heart runs out of lovre?
It becomes weak und it stalls every second because there is no fuel to Move it
And when the car runs outof gasoline the same thing happens it stalls also

Hymn XIV: Happy the Man That Finds the Grace

Happy the man that finds the grace,
The blessing of God's chosen race,
The wisdom coming from above,
The faith that sweetly works by love.

Happy beyond description he
Who knows, The Saviour died for me,
The gift unspeakable obtains,
And heavenly understanding gains.

Wisdom divine! Who tells the price
Of wisdom's costly merchandise
Wisdom to silver we prefer,
And gold is dross compared to her.

Her hands are filled with length of days,
True riches, and immortal praise,
Riches of Christ, on all bestowed,
And honour that descends from God.

To purest joys she all invites,
Chaste, holy, spiritual delights;
Her ways are ways of pleasantness,
And all her flowery paths are peace.

Happy the man who wisdom gains,
Thrice happy who his guest retains!
He owns, and shall for ever own,
Wisdom, and Christ, and heaven are one.

The second woman

When I first met her, she was coy and meek
And too kind
I like her, and she likes me too,
And she was aging and needed comfort
For her waning days,
She brought along a younger woman
One with whom I can
Truly make love, and where we can be
That is her motive,
Productive.
She is happy and waits for the gift
A child to be frank
But God must have something against her
What she does what she is
There is no baby for her
There is no gift
From heaven

Her anger is super, and she plans to take
Away from me,
Feeling defrauded, she wants to
Take back everything: this house, this car, this
Chair, and slowly she carts away my parts: my hands
My heart, my arms, my toes, my chest, my head
And we struggle, I cannot allow this thievery, I must
Not allow this misery; I am taking every lost part back.
She must be stopped.
She says she owns the younger woman and she
Must be returned back
At once.
She takes her
And she will die.
She does not care.
She takes what she wants to.
She will be coming back to take what she owns.

She takes one step inside my door.
I have a gun and she is not superwoman.

The Land Was Always There

Delagoa Bay!
Who owns Papa's Land?
Read the history of Africa and tell me the truth;
For the land was always there before someone came on it,
And the eggs do have lesser life span to live.
Someone came and pluck the fruit from the tree,
For the land protected it and the shades of love covered it;
But who owns Papa's Land?

Breath Away From Heaven

In another life
I woke up dreaming with a sigh
As the morning light
Was painting whispers of a joy
And I was in the candlelit bedroom
Enchanting beauty shimmering magically
Like an irridescent cloud
Being blown by a westerly wind
She can move your soul without you knowing
She can take your breath away from heaven
And I was captured by her loneliness
A wounded tiger on a willowy path
Like an opalescent moon all alone
In the sky of a foreign land
She can take your breath away from heaven
She can move your soul without you knowing
She can take your breath away from heaven
She is like an everlasting blossom
She can take your breath away from heaven

The Game...

this game of light
and dark
has finally shaped
a body
that i have always yearned
for all these
years

it is not meant to be mine
it is a product of nothing
and nothing
gets it back
like what it owns
it scatters and then
gladly
it disappears
not verifying for once
what one feels

i sigh
some things are meant to be sighed
not meant to be held
for a moment
of caresses.

Magnetism

By the impulse of my will,
By the red flame in my blood,
By me nerves' electric thrill,
By the passion of my mood,
My concentrated desire,
My undying, desperate love,
I ignore Fate, I defy her,
Iron-hearted Death I move.
When the town lies numb with sleep,
Here, round-eyed I sit; my breath
Quickly stirred, my flesh a-creep,
And I force the gates of death.
I nor move nor speak-you'd deem
From my quiet face and hands,
I were tranced-but in her dream,
SHE responds, she understands.
I have power on what is not,
Or on what has ceased to be,
From that deep, earth-hollowed spot,
I can lift her up to me.
And, or ere I am aware
Through the closed and curtained door,
Comes my lady white and fair,
And embraces me once more.
Though the clay clings to her gown,
Yet all heaven is in her eyes;
Cool, kind fingers press mine eyes,
To my soul her soul replies.
But when breaks the common dawn,
And the city wakes-behold!
My shy phantom is withdrawn,
And I shiver lone and cold.
And I know when she has left,
She is stronger far than I,
And more subtly spun her weft,
Than my human wizardry.
Though I force her to my will,
By the red flame in my blood,
By my nerves' electric thrill,
By the passion of my mood,
Yet all day a ghost am I.
Nerves unstrung, spent will, dull brain.
I achieve, attain, but die,
And she claims me hers again.

Paper And Ink

Touched the mirror
Broke the surface of the water
Saw my true self
All illusions shattered
Money's only paper only ink
We'll destroy ourselves if we can't agree
How the world turns
Who made the sun
Who owns the sea
The world we know will fall piece by piece
Sat down up close to the colored black hole
Like they'd always told me not to
Saw the one dimension polka dot pacifier
And all illusions shattered
Money's only paper only ink
We'll destroy ourselves if we can't agree
How the world turns
Who made the sun
Who owns the sea
The world we know will fall piece by piece
Bared myself wholly heart and body unadorned
Stripped down solely
To the evil and the good
Felt no shame
Naked to the world
And all illusions shattered
Money's only paper only ink
We'll destroy ourselves if we can't agree
How the world turns
Who made the sun
Who owns the sea
The world we know will fall piece by piece
Faced towards the sea
Looked to heaven up above
Felt the world revolve around me
No one could tell me otherwise
But the turbulent waters won't reflect this life
Only the sun the moon and sky
And all illusions shattered
Money's only paper only ink
We'll destroy ourselves if we can't agree
How the world turns
Who made the sun
Who owns the sea
The world we know will fall piece by piece
Money's only paper only ink
