A Child's reflection
Made homeless from home
Bombed city where though all
Extend arms, find it harder
To hold peace than explosives
In a napalmed land
As home bred exile I learn
To grow under a chemical sky
Dripping with nuclear fall outs
Flowing to other poison
Poured daily on earth and mind -
Today planet earth, tomorrow the stars.
How sad man who dreams of a home
In hereafter, can't share their warmth
To each other's heart, here and now..

To live in harmony
For human history
Pray for a better world
When you close your eyes again
Planet Earth, that's the name of my place
I'm born in this world, in the entire space
Planet earth, is my home, is my face
Follow your trace embrace this human race
In case, there's a new decade in human history
I'm talking about respect this is my destiny
Feel free, and stop running away
From the doubt in your mind,- never fade to grey
Planet Earth, gentle and blue
Then cold as a rock, or ice without a hue
Planet earth, made out of dust
A big ball of metal, condemn to rust
Pray, let your soul be free
Find out how to heal a bleeding wound don't stand around
Life could be paradise, peace on earth is what I found
All around in a magic world from the air to the ground

To home and Country shouts we raise I
For Home and Land to Heaven we cry !
In Home and Country let us live
For Home and Land we stand to die !
This Land us bred : these Hills are ours :
These Mighty Floods that seaward roll
We know no masters but ourselves
We know no bounds this side the pole !
God gave to us these Reaching Woods :
The Spreading Lakes we sail upon ;
We hold them for our children's right
And who is he intrudes thereon?
And we shall till the Rolling Plains
That reach into the setting sun ;
'Tis our Dominion to extend
To coasts that lave the Great Ocean.
To Home and Country shouts we raise !
For Home and Land to Heaven we cry !
In Home and Country let us live
For Home and Land we stand to die !

The Heart Of A Nation
The land of beauty,
The land of joy,
The land of plenty,
With the pearl of tourism to blow my mind!
But, the pride of a nation is all about you.
The home of peace is like,
The people's paradise;
the land of hope is like,
The home of hospitality;
The land of equity is like,
The state of harmony;
And, the food basket of the nation is with joy!
But, the pride of a nation is all about you.
Home for all is like,
The salt of a nation;
Home for solid mineral is like,
The centre of commerce;
But, the sunshine state is where to share your love with,
For, the pride of a nation is all about you.
The state of caliphate and,
The liberal state of love;
For, thenew world is always around you! !
But, the jewel in the savannah is all that i share with you.
Coal in the city of love,
And like the fountain of knowledge and power! !
But the heart beat of a nation is like,
The centre of excellence!
The state of a living spring is like the gateway to all!
But the peace setter state is what i share with you;
Because, nature's gift to a nation is like the rainbow!
Of the big heart of love and,
Of the centre of unity to all mankind!
For, the young shall grow;
And, the treasure base of life is the status of peace.
The pride to farm the land,
And of the confluence state of my mind! !
But, the power to show love is like,
The Creator's own state of mind to a nation!

Root Like A Rose
There's a green, green palce
Where you lift your face
To the sound of the waves and the wind
Down by the shore
Where my soul does endure
Where the mother sea ends and begins.
Take me home
To the sand and the foam
Where my dreams walk in the mist
I'll fall to the earth and root like a rose
In the salt land
That gave me my verse.
Though I wander afar
The same sea, the same stars
Still shine to the tears in my eyes
They take me home to a land
That my soul understands
Where the heart of the rose never dies.
Take me home
To the sand and the foam
Where my dreams walk in the mist
I'll fall to the earth and root like a rose
In the salt land
That gave me my verse...

In A Little While
Got a ticket coming home,
Wish the officer had known
What a day today has been.
Then I stumbled through the door,
Dropping junk mail on the floor.
When will this day end?
But then your letter caught my eye,
Brought the hope in me to life,
cause you know me very well,
And I bet you wrote me
Just to tell me,
In a little while,
Well be with the father;
Cant you see him smile? (ooooooh....)
In a little while,
Well be home forever,
In a while....
Were just here to learn to love him;
Well be home in just a little while.
Boy, that letter hit the spot--
Made me think of all Ive got,
And all that waits for me.
Guess Ive known it all day long;
Wonder where my thoughts went wrong.
When will my heart believe?
Waking half way through the night,
Reaching toward the lamp for light,
Picking up the word I find;
Heres another letter
To remind me.
In a little while,
Well be with the father;
Cant you see him smile? (ooooooh....)
In a little while,
Well be home forever,
In a while....
Were just here to learn to love him;
Well be home in just a little while.
Days like these are just a test of our will.
Will we walk or will we fall?
Well, I can almost see the top of the hill,
And I believe its worth it all.
In a little while,
Well be with the father;
Cant you see him smile? (ooooooh....)
In a little while,
Well be home forever,
In a while....
Were just here to learn to love him;
Well be home in just a little while.
In a little while,
Well be with the father;
Cant you see him smile? (ooooooh....)
In a little while,
Well be home forever,
In a while....
Were just here to learn to love him;
Well be home in just a little--
In a little while,
Well be with the father;
Cant you see him smile? (ooooooh....)
In a little while,
Well be home forever,
In a while....
Were just here to learn to love him;
Well be home in just a little--
In a little while,
Well be with the father;
Cant you see him smile? (ooooooh....)
In a little while,
Well be home forever,
In a while....
Were just here to learn to love him;
Well be home in just a little--
In a little while,
Well be with the father;
Cant you see him smile? (ooooooh....)

Just for today...
Just for today I will start my day the right way
Just for today I will pray on my knees
Just for today I will be thankful for all my treasures
Just for today I will lean more into His understanding.
Just for today I will be confidant and share my heart
Just for today I will not be afraid
Just for today I will Love myself unconditionally
just for today I will extend grace to all I know.
Just for today I will be BOLD and Courageous
Just for today I will share my hopes and dreams
Just for today I will listen to others as well...
and just for today I will help others succeed.
Just for today I will accept myself for who I am
Just for today I will work on my gifts...and
Just for today I will extend a hand to a fellow man
Just for today I will know God put me on this earth to Give.

Nirvana- Silver
Mom and dad went to a show
They dropped me off at Grandpa Joe's
I kicked and screamed, said please don't go
Grandma take me home
Grandma take me home
Grandma take me home
Grandma take me home
Grandma take me home
Grandma take me home
Grandma take me home
Grandma take me home
Had to eat my dinner there
Mashed potatoes and stuff like that
I couldn't chew my meats too good
Grandma take me home
Grandma take me home
Grandma take me home
Grandma take me home
Grandma take me home
Grandma take me home
Grandma take me home
Grandma take me home
She said, well, don't you start your crying
Go outside and ride your bike
That's what I did, I killed my toe
Grandma take me home
Grandma take me home
Grandma take me home
Grandma take me home
Grandma take me home
Grandma take me home
Grandma take me home
Grandma take me home
After dinner, I had ice cream
I fell asleep and watched TV
I woke up in my mother's arms
Grandma take me home
Grandma take me home
Grandma take me home
Grandma take me home
Grandma take me home
Grandma take me home
Grandma take me home
Grandma take me home
Grandma take me home
Grandma take me home
Grandma take me home

Waiting For Tomorrow
Today is gone with my hopes
Tomorrow I wait for what comes.
If yesterday is history
And tomorrow mystery
I have today only as mine.
But I still wait for tomorrow,
For yesterday is gone with my hopes.
O' home, sweet home of mine!
I have missed for twenty years
If they can feel my tears;
My pains and my bleeding heart.
Time has failed me
Time won't leave me.
And every day I grow older;
Everyday I grow weaker;
America, are you there?
Africa, can you hear me?
My country has failed me
And I am growing old, old away from home
My Africa, my sweet home of mine
I come with a new hope.
Where is my hope Nigeria?
You have killed my dreams.
But I wait for tomorrow;
I still wait for tomorrow.

I Got To Get Home
I Got To Get Home
Like A Bird
I Just Want To Fly
And Own A Peace Of Mine
Somewhere Far Away
I Got To Get Home
Time Is Slipping Away From Me
Not telling How Far Am I From Home
I Got To Get Home
Every Things I Hold On To
Is Going Down,
Buried In This World
My Hopes And Dreams
And All Those Things
I Will Never See
Now I Am Drowning In My Tears
Shame I Am Going Down This Way
Oh Well
Life Is A Journey Not A Destination
There Is Still Tomorrow
But I Got To Get Home

Mother Earth Cries Out
Peace, please come to me.
I am the earth,
the land and the sea.
I'm home to the animals
and the birds flying free.
I'm home to the fishes, insects
and butterflies you see.
I've tried so hard
to provide for all
but it's like my purpose has hit a wall
that's been built out of hatred,
greed and deceit
making it hard for my heart to beat.
I know I've been desecrated
many times before
by the bombs that are detonated
in times of war.
I've made my peace with you.
So, I plead for peace
to come to me.
I am the earth. This is my plea.

Oh To Be Back Home In Ireland (To Jo)
Oh to be back home in Ireland now that April winds are blowing
And the weather getting milder and the green grass is a growing
And the breath of Spring is in the air and daylight hours grow long
And the skylark o'er the heather sings his merry April song.
Oh to be back home in Ireland the Country of my birth
The Land where I was bred and raised the greenest Land on Earth,
Land of the grassy valleys and scenic heather hills
Of murmuring brooks and rivers and rippling mountain rills.
I have travelled thousands of miles from my home in County Cork
I have been to London City and westward to New York,
I have seen the lights of Paris and the seven hills of Rome
But my heart is always yearning for my Country and my home.
And it's oh to be in Ireland now that April days are here
And the wildborn birds are singing in the Springtime of the year
And the wildflowers are a blooming and new leaves grow on the trees
In the Country I was raised in way beyond Atlantic seas.

Im Comin Home
Save tomorrow for me
Im comin home to you
Oh girl my baby
(repeat)
I just called you up
Because youve been on my mind
So I can tell you what I feel
Ooh Im missing you
Ive been away too long
Now Im coming home to you
Its been hard for me
To fall asleep at night--my love
Because without you
I feel so--alone
So Im coming home
Save tomorrow for me
Im comin home to you
Oh girl my baby
Save tomorrow for me
Im coming home to you
Oh girl my baby
Since the day I left
And you went on your own way
My lifes just not the same
Ooh baby Im needing you
And longing for your touch
Can I get a message through
I can hardly wait
To hold you in my arms
Oh girl
So dont be busy
Cancel everything
cause im
Cause tomorrows my day
Save tomorrow for me (aw baby)
Im comin home to you (and I want it all)
Oh girl my baby (my baby)
Save tomorrow for me (aw baby)
Im coming home to you (girl, Im comin home)
Oh girl my baby (my baby)
Save tomorrow for me (missing you....needing you)
Im comin home to you (wanting you...each and every minute of the day)
Oh girl my baby (yeah)
Save tomorrow for me (I know you know. sugar, I know you know.)
Im coming home to you (Im comin home to you)
Oh girl my baby (? )
Away too long
Missing you so Im comin home
Save me tomorrow
Away too long
Missing you so Im comin home
Save me tomorrow
Save tomorrow {repeat away too long...}
(baby save tomorrow cause Im comin home)
(because without you I feel so alone)
(since the day I left)
(I was needing you)
(now Im comin home)
(my baby to you)
(can I get a message through)
(because Im comin home)
(home home home home)
(home)
I love you. I love you, too.

Never Never Land
I know a place where dreams are born
And time is never planned
Its not on any chart
You must find it with your heart
To come home to never land
It might be miles beyond the moon
Or right here where you stand
Just keep an open mind
And then suddenly youll find
Never never land
The treasure when you stay there
Is precious more than gold
Once youve found your way there
You can never grow old
And thats my home where dreams are born
And time is never planned
Just think of lovely things
And your heart will fly on wings forever
To never never land

Outward Bound
Dear Earth, near Earth, the clay that made us men,
The land we sowed,
The hearth that glowed---
O Mother, must we bid farewell to thee?
Fast dawns the last dawn, and what shall comfort then
The lonely hearts that roam the outer sea?
Gray wakes the daybreak, the shivering sails are set,
To misty deeps
The channel sweeps---
O Mother, think on us who think on thee!
Earth-home, birth-home, with love remember yet
The sons in exile on the eternal sea.

The Lost Home
I lost my home,
A home that was not mine;
A sweet and lovely home
A home so bright
The September breeze brought me there,
From a far distant land;
It took time to fall in love
With the home even loved by the ants
The day was her friend and the night was her wine,
Which I spilled on her womb
In the blue winter shine;
And which gave birth to warmth and rhyme
Her tainted, distorted skin showed
She was not a maiden, on them
Lovers of the past lay their marks;
The jealous me roared, 'She must be washed'
So the days passed me by
As I groomed her white,
She smiled and embraced me with love;
Her arms, perfumed and bright
But soon came the summer and I am away
Lone she was left behind,
Frantic for her face I come back running,
But in her arms a new lover I could find
I lost my home
A home that was never mine.

Behind The Footlights
I stand behind the footlights,
wait for the curtain to fall,
another night will be over,
and tomorrow another stage will call.
For a travelling minstrel,
on a tour of one night stands,
knowing at home there is someone special,
with beckoning arms outstretched,
awaiting for this lonesome traveller,
to return to those loving arms again.
Each day that I’m on the road,
I can’t wait to get back home,
to the warmth of my family,
and my loving home.
One day I will earn enough,
so I don’t have to travel or roam,
then I can settle down
in my loving home.
Until that day comes along,
each day will be a lonely one,
and no one will ever see the tears
I hide as the curtain falls.
No one will know the loneliness
that follows me each day.
It is only when I see the lights,
from our home windows glow,
that my heart will lift,
and love will again flow.

I Am Coming Home
Take my hand
and I will close my eyes
guide me home
and as a child
I will eagerly fantasize
Its been along time since I've been home
and I hope I am nearly there
no matter how far you are, they say
home knows no race, no distance
home is fair
home is at the end of war
home is in the peacfull sun
home is in the mornings breeze
home is where it all began
they say, even if you run away
home can still find you
they say you cant have it all
but occasionaly you deserve do
home is in a Child's laughter
home is in a lover's arms
home is in a new chapter
home is where you make it yours

Only Yesterday
After long enough of being alone
Everyone must face their share of loneliness
In my own time nobody knew
The pain I was goin through
And waitin was all my heart could do
Hope was all I had until you came
Maybe you cant see how much you mean to me
You were the dawn breaking the night
The promise of morning light
Filing the world surrounding me
When I hold you
(*) baby, baby
Feels like maybe things will be all right
Baby, baby
Your loves made me
Free as a song singin forever
(**) only yesterday when I was sad
And I was lonely
You showed me the way to leave
The past and all its tears behind me
Tomorrow may be even brighter than today
Since I threw my sadness away
Only yesterday
I have found my home here in your arms
Nowhere else on earth Id really rather be
Life waits for us
Share it with me
The best is about to be
So much is left for us to see
When I hold you
Repeat (*)
Repeat (**) twice

Ill Find My Way Home
You ask me where to begin
Am I so lost in my sin
You ask me where did I fall
Ill say I cant tell you when
But if my spirit is lost
How will I find what is near
Dont question Im not alone
Somehow Ill find my way home
My sun shall rise in the east
So shall my heart be at peace
And if youre asking me when
Ill say it starts at the end
You know your will to be free
Is matched with love secretly
And talk will alter your prayer
Somehow youll find you are there.
Your friend is close by your side
And speaks in far ancient tongue
A seasons wish will come true
All seasons begin with you
One world we all come from
One world we melt into one
Just hold my hand and were there
Somehow were going somewhere
Somehow were going somewhere
[interlude]
You ask me where to begin
Am I so lost in my sin
You ask me where did I fall
Ill say I cant tell you when
But if my spirit is strong
I know it cant be long
No questions Im not alone
Somehow Ill find my way home
Somehow Ill find my way home
Somehow Ill find my way home
Somehow Ill find my way home
