Sonnet 58: That god forbid, that made me first your slave
That god forbid, that made me first your slave,
I should in thought control your times of pleasure,
Or at your hand th' account of hours to crave,
Being your vassal bound to stay your leisure!
O, let me suffer, being at your beck,
Th' imprisoned absence of your liberty,
And patience tame to sufferance, bide each check,
Without accusing you of injury.
Be where you list, your charter is so strong
That you your self may privilage your time
To what you will; to you it doth belong
Your self to pardon of self-doing crime.
I am to wait, though waiting so be hell,
Not blame your pleasure, be it ill or well.

Oh, if It is not God utmost forbiddance
Oh, if it is not God utmost forbiddance that you make yourself love’s slave
Obedience in thought and discipline under the control of his domineering pleasure
Or at his hand the account of time with him to enjoy and to crave
Being his vassal, his dispensable tool, you bound yourself to stay his leisure
Shall you not suffer being constantly at his bidding beck
The imprisoned in the absence of his calm and cool liberty
And patience, tame to sufferance, bow and bide each check
Without accusing him or holding him account of any injury
To be where he lists his character is so strong
That he himself may provide his account and time
To what he will, to him it does belong
He to pardon himself of self doing mischief or crime
You wait for a change though waiting is hell
But it never comes,
Your comfort, your amends far delaying for years some
Yet you never blame his pleasure be it ill or well

Liberty
(if you wanna stay with me, at your liberty
If you wanna be with me, at your liberty)
-
(ahh, ohh, do-doo)
Ill tell you something,
To let you understand the way I feel, just what you mean to me
Thank you for fine times, we nearly made it all -
The way we know, it wasnt meant to be.
You say we feel the same, there aint no blame.. to decide
But if a little time, could change your mind, Ill be here..
And you can call me (if you wanna stay with me) at your liberty.
You can hold me (if you wanna be with me) at your liberty.
(do you, do you)
Do you remember, how lovers right for summers - even nights,
Would never seem to end,
And as december, comes stirring with that finger of desire
To feel it once again
You worry bout youre friends, what if they find whats going on?
But if you want to try to make it come alive, Ill be here..
And you can call me (you wanna stay with me) at your liberty.
You can hold me (you wanna be with me) at your liberty.
And you can call me (you wanna stay with me) at your liberty.
And you can touch me girl (you wanna run to me) at your liberty.
Help me out!
I live in doubt
Sort me out, yeaaaahhhhhhh....
-
Dont make it every night, dont wanna be the love of your life
So if you are inclined to spend a little time, Ill be here..
And you can call me (if you wanna stay with me) at your liberty.
You can hold me (if you wanna be with me) at your liberty.
And you can call me (if you wanna stay with me) at your liberty.
And you can touch me girl (if you wanna run to me) at your liberty.
Touch me girl, (if you wanna stay with me) at your liberty.
Help me out, (if you wanna be with me) at your liberty.
Sort me out, (if you wanna run to me), at your liberty.
Or you can set me free (if you wanna run to me), at your liberty.
(if you wanna stay with me, at your liberty).
(if you wanna be with me, at your liberty).
(if you wanna stay with me, at your liberty).
(if you wanna run to me, at your liberty).
At your liberty...

Seconds Of Pleasure
You say you dont desire me,
Shes only a hired hand,
Now you are tired of me.
Expensive care is meaningless,
Feeling nothing and caring less.
Cut off at the pass,
She knows where you were headed,
She wants double-time or a temporary wedding.
And the lucky girl leads a life of leisure,
Though she? with forty-five years
For seconds of pleasure.
I thought I knew you too well,
Now I find the man is a mystery,
And the promises you made
Are really only ancient history.
Everyday goes by without a hitch,
You say the urge becomes an itch.
You say that Im no go for you, thats rich,
Or am I being bitchy?
And the lucky girl leads a life of leisure,
Though she forty-five years
For seconds of pleasure.
And the hands on the clock move so precisley,
You say you only kissed her once or twice.
You didnt do it for love, you didnt even do it with stealth.
I cant help you now,
I cant help myself.
Commited to life and then commuted to the outskirts.
I was living for thirty minutes at a time
With a break in the middle for adverts.
You treat me like a piece of human furniture.
You say when? you sad soul,
If you can look all that you like,
But I wont let you touch and poke.
And the lucky girl leads a life of leisure,
Though she ? forty-five years
For seconds of pleasure.

The slave loves his master
It is a pleasure
For a master to command his slave.
It is a pleasure
For a slave to attend his master’s call.
The difference is
That the slave’s pleasure is for love.

This Could Be The Right One
(myles goodwyn)
Published by northern goody two tunes, ltd./capac - ascap
This could be the right one, Im not really sure
This could be the right one, Ive never felt love like this before
Im actin like a lover thats out of control
Makin you promises and actin a fool
Im goin through somethin that I dont understand
I know that I need you and Ill do what I can, cause
This could be the right one (this could be the right one)
This could be the only one (this could be the only one)
This could be the right one, this could be the one were waiting for
This could be the right one (this could be the right one)
This could be the only one
Wont you let me show you how nice it could be
I just wanna please you (I just wanna please you)
To give you pleasure is a pleasure for me
Ive always tried to walk away from lovers
Its too big a heartache, when theres always another
I run for cover but I keep in touch
Ive learned to care, but not too much, cause
This could be the right one (this could be the right one)
This could be the only one (this could be the only one)
This could be the right one, this could be the one were waiting for
This could be the right one (this could be the right one)
This could be the only one
They say that it could happen, Im certain its true
Wouldnt it be somethin (wouldnt it be somethin)
Wouldnt it be somethin if it happened to me and you
All the glory of a new romance
I never wanted to take that chance
Foresaking all caution, no need to pretend
Were caught in our passion, our fate in the wind, cause
This could be the right one (this could be the right one)
This could be the only one (this could be the only one)
This could be the right one, this could be the one were waiting for
You bring me up, you bring me down
You find the words to turn me around and around
Wait (wait), lets take our time, lets be sure
I say wait (wait), careful now, lets understand, whats in store, cause
This could be the right one (this could be the right one)
This could be the only one (this could be the only one)
This could be the right one, this could be the one were waiting for
This could be the right one (this could be the right one)
You could be the only one (you could be the only one)
This could be the right one, this could be the one were waiting for
This could be the right one (this could be the right one)
This could be the only one (this could be the only one)
This could be the right one, this could be the one were waiting for
This could be the right one (this could be the right one)
You could be the only one (you could be the only one)

I Need Not Go
I need not go
Through sleet and snow
To where I know
She waits for me;
She will wait me there
Till I find it fair,
And have time to spare
From company.
When I've overgot
The world somewhat,
When things cost not
Such stress and strain,
Is soon enough
By cypress sough
To tell my Love
I am come again.
And if some day,
When none cries nay,
I still delay
To seek her side,
(Though ample measure
Of fitting leisure
Await my pleasure)
She will not chide.
What--not upbraid me
That I delayed me,
Nor ask what stayed me
So long? Ah, no! -
New cares may claim me,
New loves inflame me,
She will not blame me,
But suffer it so.

Wait
(berry/buck/mills/stipe)
You got your problems darling
I got mine too
You know that
Maybe its time for you to come through
Because Im fed up with waiting for you
Wont you decide real fast
What are you gonna do?
Ive almost given up hope
Then what else is new?
You know that
Im at the end of my rope trying to hang on to you
Because my patience is wearing thin just waiting for you
Wont you decide real fast
What are you gonna do
You better wait (wait!)
Dont go away now darling, wait (wait!)
Why dont you stay?
You better wait (wait!)
Dont go away now, wait (wait!)
Why dont you stay?
(chorus)
I know that youre confused
Its no crime
You better hurry sugar
Cuz were running out of time
Because my patience is wearing thin just waiting for you
Wont you decide real fast
What are you gonna do?
(repeat chorus)
I dont wanna walk on the same stage with you
Then the bells begin to blow in my head
If things dont turn out right
Its gonna be all right
(repeat chorus 4x)

Pleasure
Pleasures in my car
Even in the bar as Im searching
In the love thats strong
Breathing in the song, Im learning
(I am learning)
Pleasure in the sand
Warm within the hand shes holding
It is on the screen
Adventures at ninteen, Im searching
I am searching in my heart
Pleasure in my heart
Never let us part for pleasure
Work,work today
Never let them pay for pleasure
Leave or lose her from my heart.
Pleasure is your name
I accept he blame for falling
It is down the phone
Living in your home,Im calling
(I am calling)
Pleasure is a word
When love is left unheard, its burning
It is on the screen
Adventures at ninteen, Im searching
I am searching in my heart.
Why do you feel like breaking my heart?
What made you feel like breaking my heart tonight?
Now I am crying,now I am crying.
Pleasure in my heart
Never let us part for pleasure
Work,work today
Never let them pay for pleasure
Leave or lose her from my heart.

Have you ever been enslaved by love?
Have you ever been enslaved by love, that you are totally abendant
And merely tend upon the hours and times of your love’s desire
You have shrunk with no personal pursues no precious time on your own to spend
No interest, nor service of any kind, till your love list requires
Dare you not to question or to chide the endless idle hour
While your love counts the time and watches the clock for you
Think you not the bitterness of waiting the love’s absence sour
When your love vanishes, biding you unexpected adieu
Dare you contend to be consumed with your jealous thought
Where your sovereign may be and whose affair he suppose
But like an obsequious slave you stay and think that you aught
That your love in soaring Narcissism is happy making time with those
My dear, true, you have cultured a fool love at your own expense and will
By never questioning, by always thinking anything your love does has no ill

Pardon Me
I tried my best
I gave my all
Sometimes my best wasn't good enough
For you
Sometimes I let you go
Sometimes I hurt you so
I know that I can be the meanest person in the world
[Chorus:]
So I apologize to you
And to anyone else that I hurt too
I may not be the perfect soul
But I can't learn self control
So pardon me! pardon me! pardon me my friend!
I never thought
That anyone
Was more important than the plans
I made
But now I feel the shame
There's no one else to blame
For all the broken hearts scattered on the field of war
[Chorus:]
So I apologize to you
And to anyone else that I hurt too
I may not be the perfect soul
But I can't learn self control
So pardon me! pardon me! pardon me my friend!
[guitar solo]
Sometimes I let you go
Sometimes I hurt you sooo!
I know that I can be the meanest person in the world..
[Chorus:]
So I apologize to you,
And to anyone else that I hurt too,
I may not be a perfect soul
But I can't learn self control
And in my heart I feel its true
So I'll be there with you!!!
So pardon me
Pardon me
Pardon me my friend
Pardon meeeee
My friendddd
Pardon meee
My frienddd...

I Saw a Little Boy Playing Without Toy
I saw a little boy
Playing without toy
He was merry and gay
In ecstasy, I can say
Undisturbed by worldly affairs
He assumed no airs
He played in dust
Almost lost in lust
Lust of playful pleasure
Enjoying time of leisure
Boy was very naughty
Feared not to get dirty
Enjoyed playing with sand
Taking sand in hand
Making and breaking
Structures of imagination
Throwing sand on his head and shoulders
Like a bravest of brave soldiers
He was playing in the sun
With unlimited fun
From here to there
There to here
Hither and thither
He skipped and jumped
With joy he popped
I saw him one day
But, he in my memory, stay
As a evergreen pleasure
And flashes when in leisure

Sonnet 57: Being your slave, what should I do but tend
Being your slave, what should I do but tend
Upon the hours and times of your desire?
I have no precious time at all to spend,
Nor services to do, till you require.
Nor dare I chide the world-without-end hour,
Whilst I, my sovereign, watch the clock for you,
Nor think the bitterness of absence sour
When you have bid your servant once adieu.
Nor dare I question with my jealous thought
Where you may be, or your affairs suppose,
But, like a sad slave, stay and think of naught
Save where you are, how happy you make those.
So true a fool is love that in your will,
Though you do any thing, he thinks no ill.

That Time and Absence proves Rather helps than hurts to loves
ABSENCE, hear thou my protestation
Against thy strength,
Distance and length:
Do what thou canst for alteration,
For hearts of truest mettle
Absence doth join and Time doth settle.
Who loves a mistress of such quality,
His mind hath found
Affection's ground
Beyond time, place, and all mortality.
To hearts that cannot vary
Absence is present, Time doth tarry.
My senses want their outward motion
Which now within
Reason doth win,
Redoubled by her secret notion:
Like rich men that take pleasure
In hiding more than handling treasure.
By Absence this good means I gain,
That I can catch her
Where none can watch her,
In some close corner of my brain:
There I embrace and kiss her,
And so enjoy her and none miss her.

Pleasure Principle
THE PLEASURE PRINCIPLE
Janet Jackson
Album: Control
You might think I'm crazy but I'm serious
It's better you know now
What I thought was happiness
Was only part-time bliss
You can take a bow
It was all just one big night out on the town
Riding in your limousine
We turned right, then I said wrong
Which brings us to a stop
As the light is changing
Oh my meter's running so I got to go, now
CHORUS:
It's the pleasure principle, oh-oh oh-oh oh-oh
It's the principle of pleasure, oh-oh
It's the pleasure principle, oh-oh oh-oh oh-oh
It's true you want to build your life on guarantees
Hey take a ride in a big yellow taxi
I'm not here to feed your insecurities
I wanted you to love me
This has become an all too familiar scene
It's not the first time I've paid the fare
Where'd you get the idea of material possession?
Thank you for the ride nowhere
And oh my meter's running, so I really have to go
CHORUS
I know what you mean to me
Baby this is nowhere
You what became between you and me
Human differential
It's the principle of pleasure oh-oh oh oh oh
It's the pleasure principle, principle
oh ohhhh ohhhh oh
You might say that I'm no good
I wouldn't trust your looks, baby if I could
I got too many things I wanna do before I'm through
It's the pleasure principle, it's the pleasure principle
It's the pleasure principle
Baby you can hold me down, baby you can hold me down
After all the love that we've been through
After all you put me through
Love me, love me
It's the pleasure principle
Yeah yeah yeah yeah

A known enemy
Alas! Distance is our known enemy
We are at receiving end and not free
I breathed every second for your company
I couldn’t make it possible to accompany
My heart bled for strong bond
I wished and was very fond
I swam with limited scope in pond
I have no patience to wait for second
The air was thickening with smoke
The heart was threatened with stroke
It was matter of time with no time bound
Still it breathed heavily and went round
It was first known contact made in open
The views really matched and tried to reopen
The distance was narrowing and tried to unite
It was beautiful and pleasant night
Two hearts did not think of any adversity
It was need of the hour and necessasity
How two love bound souls longed for each other?
They thought nothing and did not bother
They were memorable and not dying moments
It did no wait for any favorable comments
They did everything to breathe in jovial mood
It served as medicine, tonic and food
I get the message from wind’s direction
I visualize your face with romantic action
You are there eagerly waiting for my embrace
It may not be possible without His grace
Today doesn’t belong to me or not in my hand
The memory clearly plays as true friend
I shall not make it known to the world
I wish only to become part and come in your fold
We were moving in expected line
it was friendship day called as valentine
We may not be able to witness it as golden shine
I consider it as only gift and precious to be divine

We ignore
You surrendered easily
It seems it was an act enjoyed happily
You tended to fall for pleasure
The attitude was quite clear
The pleasure is always of short duration
It doesn’t develop any stable relation
It is simply a lust of time
People gather to pass the merry time
It may be forced trade
But you are definitely led
To fall in trap
With visible gap
It is slave trade
Flash one clearly forbade
Yet we continue much to the shame
And finally cry and blame
We need to rise
With clear voice and promise
We shall not surrender or obey
Any forceful occupation or sway
Man and woman must feel alike
It may be much to our dislike
Blot on humanity and crime
We ignore it fully sometimes

Joy and Pleasure
Now, joy is born of parents poor,
And pleasure of our richer kind;
Though pleasure's free, she cannot sing
As sweet a song as joy confined.
Pleasure's a Moth, that sleeps by day
And dances by false glare at night;
But Joy's a Butterfly, that loves
To spread its wings in Nature's light.
Joy's like a Bee that gently sucks
Away on blossoms its sweet hour;
But pleasure's like a greedy Wasp,
That plums and cherries would devour.
Joy's like a Lark that lives alone,
Whose ties are very strong, though few;
But Pleasure like a Cuckoo roams,
Makes much acquaintance, no friends true.
Joy from her heart doth sing at home,
With little care if others hear;
But pleasure then is cold and dumb,
And sings and laughs with strangers near.

Not Now
Come here,
please hold my hand for now,
help me
I'm scared please show me how,
to fight this
God has a master plan
And I guess
I am in his demand
Please save me,
this time I cannot run
And I'll see
>You when this is done
and now I
>Have come to realise
that you are
the one whos left behind
Please Stay,
Until I'm gone,
I'm here hold on,
tell me I'm right here waiting
I see,
>a light it feels good
And I'll come
back soon just like you would
It's useless,
>my name has made the list
and I wish
I gave you one last kiss
Please Stay
Until I'm gone
I'm here hold on
tell me I'm right here waiting
And take,
my one last breath
and don't forget
that I will be right here
waiting
Please Stay
Until I'm gone
I'm here hold on
tell me I'm right here waiting
And take,
my one last breath
and don't forget
that I will be right here
waiting

It Was A Pleasure Then
It was a pleasure then
Could you just be here again
To know what there was to see
When all the sunday people
Where so quiet in the dark
Afraid to be better the next day
La la la ...
It was a pleasure then
When we could sit and stare again
Until the stars feel through the cloudy trees
Onto the grass
Stars to smile with us
Until they too had tears in their eyes
Tell us this and tell of how much we must not agree
It was a pleasure then
To see the dieing days again
In the horror of the night
Never, never, never, never, never, lise
Keep it secret
For to hide somewhere at last
As long as we could see
The sky confessed this crime
Of futile tasting hate romance
Above our shattered minds
It was a pleasure, it was a pleasure
La la la ...

Sins and pleasure
Pleasure of sins lures me to sin.
Sins of pleasure follow me in.
I sow sins to harvest pleasure
And sow pleasure to harvest sins.
Virtues might promise me pleasure
But it is sins that assure of it.
Sins are the food meant for senses.
Virtues are the food made of ego.
I do sins to derive pleasure
And then repent to cleanse my soul.
Virtues I stay with; sins I flirt with.
