Olney Hymn 51: Lively Hope And Gracious Fear
I was a grovelling creature once,
And basely cleaved to earth:
I wanted spirit to renounce
The clod that gave me birth.
But God hath breathed upon a worm,
And sent me from above
Wings such as clothe an angel's form,
The wings of joy and love.
With these to Pisgah's top I fly
And there delighted stand,
To view, beneath a shining sky,
The spacious promised land.
The Lord of all the vast domain
Has promised it to me,
The length and breadth of all the plain
As far as faith can see.
How glorious is my privilege!
To Thee for help I call;
I stand upon a mountain's edge,
O save me, lest I fall!
Though much exalted in the Lord,
My strength is not my own;
Then let me tremble at His word,
And none shall cast me down.

Rise Or Fall
Take action
Gotta raise a fist in blood
Domination
Can't continue acting like jerks
You show me all there's a chance
With only words for defence
There is no freedom to speak, no
Rise or fall
Number one to take the stand
Rise or fall
Take a word from this promised land
Yeah
Your reaction
Sticks and stones are no match for steel
This rebellion
Revolution's in your hands
Now listen
So it's part Apache
Do you know what that means?
Is it a segregation?
Rise or fall
Number one to take the stand
Rise or fall
Take a word from this promised land
Strength in numbers can alter your place
Take the action before it's too late
Make a stand
Give it up
Rise or fall
Number one to take the stand
Rise or fall
Take a word from this promised land
Rise or fall
Number one to take the stand
Rise or fall
Take a word
Take a word from this land
Rise or fall
Rise or fall

Born Under A Star
Do you remember the story, of the Bethlehem Star
There in that land long ago, and so very far
I know it is hard for us to see
To fathom or even believe
But do you remember, that day, there at Gethsemane
There at that place, for you and even me
Oh...Ohoo... And then, there again, at Calvary
There his life, for me and even thee
Now can we understand about that shining bright light
That glorious birth, for us to remember, for ever that night
Now you know why, His birth under a star
Our Saviour sacrificed, gave us everything, from that land afar
The Prince of Peace, taught how to love
Remember, to forgive, and how to pray, to Father above
His promised love
Has broken the chains, that surround our hearts
Love and tears and then floods, began to start
Washing, burning relif, for our souls
His promised love, made us completely whole
His promised love, has carried us just so far
Giving us love, and everything, even yet
Born in a manger, under that star

Mountain Top
I love to sing and I love to pray,
Worship the lord most every day.
I go to the temple, and I just want to stay
To hide from the hustle of the world and its ways.
And id
Love to live on a mountain top,
Fellowshipping with the lord.
Id love to stand on a mountain top,
cause I love to feel my spirit
Soar....
But Ive got to come down
>from the mountain top
To the people in the valley below;
Theyll never know
That they can go
To the mountain of the lord.
Now praising the father is a good thing to do,
To worship the trinity in spirit and truth.
But if we worshipped all of the time,
Well, there would be no one to lead the blind.
But id
Love to live on a mountain top,
Just fellowshipping with the lord.
And Id love to stand on a mountain top,
cause I love to feel my spirit
Soar.... (soar....)
But Ive got to come down
>from the mountain top
To the people in the valley below;
Theyll never know
That they can go
To the mountain of the lord.
I am not saying that worship is wrong,
But worship is more than just singin some songs,
cause its all that we say and everything that we do;
Its letting gods spirit live through you.
Still, id
Love to live on a mountain top
Fellowshipping with the lord.
Id love to stand on a mountain top,
cause I love to feel my spirit
Soar.... (soar....)

Psalm 44
Oh Lord we hear the tales
Of saints from long ago
Who came into your presence
And in your Spirit, flow
Your Shekinah fell like morning dew
Upon them one and all
Your glory and your majesty
Before your throne they fall
Its by the light of countenance
That we take the promised land
Its by your strength and your right arm
That we walk hand in hand
But now o Lord you've cast us off
And put us all to shame
The enemy comes and takes from us
And we shall never be the same
Arise O Lord, please do not sleep
Why do you hide your face
Our souls are bowed down to the dust
We cry out for your grace

Meditation Twenty
Philippians II: 9: Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him.
View, all ye eyes above, this sight which flings
Seraphick Phancies in Chill Raptures high:
A Turffe of Clay, and yet bright Glories King:
From dust to Glory Angell-like to fly.
A Mortall Clod immortaliz’d behold,
Flyes through the skies swifter than Angells could.
Upon the Wings he of the Winde rode in
His Bright Sedan, through all the Silver Skies,
And made the Azure Cloud, his Charriot, bring
Him to the Mountain of Celestiall joyes.
The Prince o’ th’ Aire durst not an Arrow spend,
While through his Realm his Charriot did ascend.
He did not in a Fiery Charriot’s shine,
And Whirlewinde, like Elias upward goe.
But th’golden Ladders Jasper rounds did climbe
Unto the Heavens high from Earth below.
Each step had on a Golden Stepping Stone
Of Deity unto his very Throne.
Methinks I see Heavens sparklingl Courtiers fly,
In flakes of Glory down him to attend;
And heare Heart Cramping notes of Melody
Surround his Charriot as it did ascend:
Mixing their Musick, making e’vry strong
More to inravish, as they this tune sing.
God is Gone up with a triumphant shout:
The Lord with sounding Trumpets melodies:
Sing Praise, sing Praise, sing Praise, sing Praises out,
Unto our King sing praise seraphick-wise!
Lift up your Heads, ye lasting Doore, they sing,
And let the King of Glory Enter in.
Art thou ascended up on high, my Lord,
And must I be without thee here below?
Art thou the sweetest joy the Heavens afford?
Oh! that I with thee was! What shall I do?
Should I pluck Feathers from an Angells Wing,
They could not waft me up to thee my King.
Lend mee thy Wings, my Lord, I’st fly apace,
My Soules Arms stud with thy strong Quills, true Faith;
My Quills then Feather with thy Saving Grace,
My Wings will take the Winde thy Word displai’th.
Then I shall fly up to thy glorious Throne
With my strong Wings whose Feathers are thine own.

Psalm XXXIII: Rejoice, Ye Righteous
Rejoice, ye righteous, in the Lord,
This work belongs to you;
Sing of his name, his ways, his word,
How holy, just, and true.
His mercy and his righteousness
Let heav'n and earth proclaim;
His works of nature and of grace
Reveal his wondrous name.
His wisdom and almighty word
The heav'nly arches spread,
And by the Spirit of the Lord
Their shining hosts were made.
He bid the liquid waters flow
To their appointed deep;
The flowing seas their limits know
And their own station keep.
Ye tenants of the spacious earth,
With fear before him stand;
He spake, and nature took its birth,
And rests on his command.
He scorns the angry nations' rage,
And breaks their vain designs;
His counsel stands through ev'ry age,
And in full glory shines.
Blessed is the nation where the Lord
Hath fixed his gracious throne,
Where he reveals his heav'nly word,
And calls their tribes his own.
His eye with infinite survey
Does the whole world behold;
He formed us all of equal clay,
And knows our feeble mould.
Kings are not rescued by the force
Of armies from the grave;
Nor speed nor courage of a horse
Can the bold rider save.
Vain is the strength of beasts or men,
To hope for safety thence;
But holy souls from God obtain
A strong and sure defense.
God is their fear, and God their trust;
When plagues or famine spread,
His watchful eye secures the just
Among ten thousand dead.
Lord, let our hearts in thee rejoice,
And bless us from thy throne;
For we have made thy word our choice,
And trust thy grace alone.

Conquering Giants
All of the giants within your life, are conquered with Jesus Christ,
Those giants that rage within, and those we face in a world of sin.
God who conquers giants for us, seeks only obedience and trust,
As we live for the Lord each day, following our Savior all the way.
Wherever in the world we trod, we faithfully need to seek our God,
To seek out our Savior’s will, as His purpose in life He does fulfill.
As believers, we’re God’s servant, to be used wherever we’re sent,
To fulfill a purpose bigger than us, through our Lord, Christ Jesus.
Like Moses and Joshua too, The Lord will strengthen me and you,
To stand strong and courageous, when things appear outrageous,
Whatever in life, may be our lot, The Lord God will forsake us not,
When we endeavor to follow Jesus, our Lord God will comfort us.
Being faithful to Christ’s call, God helps us stand, strong and tall,
So we will be ready and available, for God’s purpose and His will,
With a teachable spirit for Christ, God helps us deal with sacrifice,
As we meditate on God’s Word, God helps us live all we’ve heard.
If only in God we truly believe, with a humble spirit, we will receive,
Strength and courage from above, provided by The Savior’s Love,
To conquer those giants that we face, guided by sustaining Grace,
As God leads us with His Hand, toward that future Promised Land.

The Angels Came Upon The Battle Fields
The angels came down upon the battle field
To deliver faith, and to heal.
They put back faith in the hearts of these women/men
Until this “ uncalled for war” would finally end.
They looked upon the wounded laying on the ground
But their faith had been found.
They looked at the spirits rising from the dead
And they all bowed their heads.
They said a prayer for every one
Who was going to meet the fathers son.
May the lord raise his hand, and bless
all nations and their promised land.
May he touch the hearts of all in despair
And give love and joy for them to share.
But! The angels jobs were far from through
There was so much that they had to do.
Faith wasn’t only needed on the soldiers battle field
But this entire world needed to heal.
They spread their powerful white wings to the skies
And they all began to fly.
The whites of the wings covered the skies
As they started to heal you and I.
The world felt the strength in their wings
As it touched every thing.
Their hearts filled, as the tears rolled from their eyes
For GOD gave them the greatest surprise.
He gave them faith when there was none to be found
And turned their hearts completely around.

Save Us
Too late to call for the priest
He is not here anymore
We look at the age of the beast
And weve seen its vast armies form
Hear our call
Chorus: please, save us
Please, save us
In permanent madness we live
No time for life and for love
To take is the rule, not to give
Insanity comes from below
To take us all
Chorus: please, save us
Please, save us
We believe that the phenomena of nature
Are the expression of infinitive intelligence
We express our belief that all forms of life
Are manifestations of spirit
And thus, all men are children of god
Far from down below one comes prepared to take us all
Waiting for his future and the final call
We stand on the edge of the world
Just one step more and we fall
Guide us and please take our hands
Without you were weak and alone
Hear our call
Chorus: please, save us
Please, save us
Now!
Save us--from the gods of thunder
Save us--from the dogs of war
Save us--from the creeping nightmares
Save us--from the evils course
Save us--from our own ignorance
Save us--from the man in black
Save us--from the desolation
Save us--from the hate attack
Save us--oh please
Save us--please save us
Save us--oh please
Save us--now!

Manifest Thy Glory
A troubled soul has cried today
His words were lost in pained emotions,
His thoughts at random as he prays,
O Lord, give ear to his devotion.
For all of us are like lost sheep
We wander 'bout in our solutions,
We go in circles, fall down deep,
In our quicksands of destruction.
Our strength is gone, so with our will,
Our troubles multiply to drown us.
We run to You Lord, You will heal,
For Your Name's sake, save this Dust.
Please take our hand and help us Lord!
We've seen what you have done for others.
Our hope is in Your promised Word,
And our affliction is not forever.
You will answer, this You promised
Because You are good and full of mercy,
Your will in life is all we wish,
In our time, manifest Thy Glory!
'You are the God Who performs miracles,
You display your power amongst the peoples.'

The Promise
How time will heal
Make me forget
You promised me
Time will heal
Make me forget
You promised me
Love will save us all
And time will heal
You promised me...
How love will save
Make me forget
You promised me
Love will save
Make me forget
You promised me
Time will heal us all
And love will save
You promised me...
I trusted you
I wanted your words
Believed in you
I needed your words
Time will heal
Make me forget
And love will save us all
You promised me another wish
Another way
You promised me another dream
Another day
You promised me another time
You promised me another life
You promised me...
So I swallowed the shame and I waited
I buried the blame and I waited
Choked back years of memories...
I pushed down the pain and I waited
Trying to forget...
You promised me another wish
Another way
You promised me another dream
Another day
You promised me another time
You promised me...
Another lie
Oh you promised me...
You promised me...you promised me
And I waited...and I waited...and I waited...
And I'm still waiting...

Psalm 68 part 2
v.17,18
L. M.
Christ's ascension, and the gift of the Spirit.
Lord, when thou didst ascend on high,
Ten thousand angels filled the sky;
Those heav'nly guards around thee wait,
Like chariots that attend thy state.
Not Sinai's mountain could appear
More glorious when the Lord was there;
While he pronounced his dreadful law,
And struck the chosen tribes with awe.
How bright the triumph none can tell,
When the rebellious powers of hell,
That thousand souls had captive made,
Were all in chains like captives led.
Raised by his Father to the throne,
He sent the promised Spirit down
With gifts and grace for rebel men,
That God might dwell on earth again.

Full Of Faith!
And it came to pass that a certain man
Read the Word of God and then full of faith
Created something new...
He created something brand new...
He created a new universe...
Out of nothing but faith, there it was before him,
Just a bubble before his face...
He let it grow larger and larger.
It almost filled his room...
Come with me, he told it.
He led it outside into the garden.
Grow bigger, he said... and it grew bigger...
Let no other human see it, he said.
It became invisible to humans.
Let there be me within it, he said.
With all the physical needs supplied, he said.
Oxygen, food, drink to drink and so on... he said...
Then he disappeared into the new universe...
Let there be spirits, living spirits, he said.
Let them appear as with human form, he said.
Let them fall in love with each other, he said
And from their love create newborn baby spirits, he said
And such commands came to pass...
The spirits were immortal, undying, yet creating
And centuries passed by, for him, for them...
Still protected by his faith, thinking all things possible,
He determined that he would become a spirit, too.
Let me become... he said...
Yet he was stopped from speaking the rest...
He heard a powerful voice... Who are you? he asked...
I am the God of all creation, the Lord said.
Wow! said the mortal man, immediately humbled.
Your Word helped me create this place! he said.
Look at my spirit beings in love with life! he said.
Yes, I know each and every one of them, said the Lord.
Why do you reveal yourself now? asked the man.
You cannot become a spirit... warned the Lord.
You are a mortal, soon to die, said the Lord.
I want you to give all this up, said the Lord...
Return home, where I can save you, said the Lord.
For as a mortal, you have sinned, warned the Lord.
You need to be forgiven, explained the Lord.
Then I can grant you eternal life in Jesus, said the Lord.
Wow! I understand, replied the repentant man.
You let me see all this according to my faith, he said.
Did I really need to create all this? he asked.
Yes, you did, for your faith is so powerful, said the Lord.
It is because I told you it was so, the Lord explained.
You trusted my Word, therefore trust Me now, He said...
Once forgiven, you can be baptised, said God,
Baptised into eternal life as I promised...
Can these spirit beings continue unharmed? the man asked.
Yes, for they know not sin, they never will, God said.
Oh, that's wonderful... the man replied...
Take me home, he asked of the Lord...
And God took him home, so he could believe the Gospel.
As it is written, what shall it profit a man
To gain the whole world and yet lose his own soul?

My God, I Thank Thee who Hast Made
My God, I thank Thee who hast made
The earth so bright;
So full of splendour and of joy,
Beauty and light;
So many glorious things are here,
Noble and right!
I thank Thee, too, that Thou hast made
Joy to abound;
So many gentle thoughts and deeds
Circling us round,
That in the darkest spot of earth
Some love is found.
I thank Thee more that all our joy
Is touched with pain;
That shadows fall on brightest hours;
So that earth's bliss may be our guide,
And not our chain.
For Thou, who knowest, Lord, how soon
Our weak heart clings,
Hath given us joys, tender and true,
Yet all with wings;
So that we see, gleaming on high,
Diviner things.
I thank Thee, Lord, that Thou hast kept
The best in store:
We have enough, yet not too much
To long for more;
A yearning for a deeper peace,
Not known before.

Isaiah 40: 31
those who hope in the LORD
find strength he doth afford
He will renew their strength
taking them to any length
bestowing their just reward
those who hope in the LORD
are blessed with life restored
He will renew their strength
They will soar on wings like eagles
those who hope in the LORD
blessed with the holy sword
know by His depth and length
He will renew their strength
They will soar on wings like eagles

God hath promised
God hath not promised
Skies always blue,
Flower-strewn pathways
All our lives through.
God hath not promised
Sun without rain.
Joy without sorrow,
Peace without pain.
But God hath promised
strength for the day
Rest for the labor,
Light for the way.
Grace for the trials,
Help from above,
Unfailing sympathy
Undying love…

Lord Of The Dance
I am the Lord of the dance
I dance beneath the sky
On a clear night
I can see the stars
Shining above the sky
I am the Lord of the dance
God rewards me everyday
I dance for my Lord
The sky is clear
The moon is shining in the sky
This is a beautiful fall night
The peace fills my mind and my heart
I feel at peace
It is good to know that God cares
I want to serve my lord with all my heart
I am God’s Child
I am gifted
God brings peace into my heart
I am the lord of the dance
He gave me peace
He gave me life
He gave me health
He gave me a spirit
He gave me a mind
He gave me a body
He gave me hope
He open’s my ear
And let me hear the sound of silence
He gave me eyes
For me to see more of him
I trust the Lord with all my heart
I am the Lord of the dance
I was born a Christian
And I will die as a Christian

Genesis BK II
ll. 82-91) The citizens of heaven, the home of glory, dwelt
again in concord. Strife was at an end among the angels, discord
and dissension, when those warring spirits, shorn of light, were
hurled from heaven. Behind them stretching wide their mansions
lay, crowned with glory, prospering in grace in God's dominion, a
sunny, fruitful land, empty of dwellers, when the accursed
spirits reached their place of exile within Hell's prison-walls.
(ll. 92-102) Then our Lord took counsel in the thoughts of His
heart how He might people, with a better host, the great
creation, the native seats and gleaming mansions, high in heaven,
wherefrom these boastful foes had got them forth. Therefore with
mighty power Holy God ordained, beneath the arching heavens, that
earth and sky and the far-bounded sea should be established,
earth-creatures in the stead of those rebellious foes whom He had
cast from heaven.
(ll. 103-119) As yet was nought save shadows of darkness; the
spacious earth lay hidden, deep and dim, alien to God, unpeopled
and unused. Thereon the Steadfast King looked down and beheld
it, a place empty of joy. He saw dim chaos hanging in eternal
night, obscure beneath the heavens, desolate and dark, until this
world was fashioned by the word of the King of glory. Here first
with mighty power the Everlasting Lord, the Helm of all created
things, Almighty King, made earth and heaven, raised up the sky
and founded the spacious land. The earth was not yet green with
grass; the dark waves of the sea flowed over it, and midnight
darkness was upon it, far and wide.
(ll. 119-134) Then in radiant glory God's holy spirit moved upon
the waters with wondrous might. The Lord of angels, Giver of
life, bade light shine forth upon the spacious earth. Swiftly
was God's word fulfilled; holy light gleamed forth across the
waste at the Creator's bidding. Over the seas the Lord of
victory divided light from darkness, shadow from radiant light.
The Lord of life gave both a name. By the word of God the
gleaming light was first called day. And in the beginning of
creation was God well pleased. The first day saw the dark and
brooding shadows vanish throughout the spacious earth.
