William Butler Yeats

The Fish

ALTHOUGH you hide in the ebb and flow
Of the pale tide when the moon has set,
The people of coming days will know
About the casting out of my net,
And how you have leaped times out of mind
Over the little silver cords,
And think that you were hard and unkind,
And blame you with many bitter words.

Hard Times

(stephen foster)
Let us pause in lifes pleasures and count its many tears
While we all sup sorrow with the poor.
Theres a song that will linger forever in our ears,
Oh, hard times, come again no more
tis the song, the sigh of the weary.
Hard times, hard times, come again no more.
Many days you have lingered all around my door.
Oh, hard times, come again no more.
While we seek mirth and beauty and music light and gay.
There are frail forms fainting at the door
Though their voices are silent, their pleading looks will say,
Oh, hard times, come again no more.
tis the song, the sigh of the weary.
Hard times, hard times, come again no more.
Many days you have lingered all around my door.
Oh, hard times, come again no more.
Theres a pale drooping maiden who foils her life away
With a worn out heart, whose better days are oer.
Though her voice it would be merry, tis sighing all the day,
Oh, hard times, come again no more.
tis the song, the sigh of the weary.
Hard times, hard times, come again no more.
Many days you have lingered all around my door.
Oh, hard times, come again no more.
tis the song, the sigh of the weary.
Hard times, hard times, come again no more.

I want to write

I want to write, something nice, but nothing comes to mind. Today words are unkind and will not come out from where they normally hide.

Today I want to write, write something nice, and make someone smile, to look forward to a lovely day and an even more an exciting night.

Words of the powerful mind, tell me where you hide, where in the world can I find, find you to create a masterpiece, burn paper with ink, write till I no more blink, as you take me to a place of so many tears, peaceful sleeps, sorrow, happiness, and enchanted dreams…

I want to write, something nice, but nothing comes to mind. Words have deserted me, why are they so unkind and will not come out from where they normally hide…

Comin Home

(allen collins -- ronnie vanzant)
Its been so long since Ive been gone
Another day might be too long for me
Traveling around Ive had my fill
Of broken dreams and dirty deals
A concrete jungle surrounding me
Many nights Ive slept out in the streets
I paid my dues and I changed my style
Seen hard times. all over now
I want to come home. its been so long since Ive been away
And please, dont blame me cause Ive tried
Ill be coming home soon to your love to stay
I miss old friends that I once had
Times aint changed and Ill be glad when I go home
I dont know why the thought came to me
But why Im here I really cant see. and now...
I want to come home. its been so long since Ive been away
And please, dont blame me cause Ive tried
Ill be coming home soon to your love to stay
Coming home to stay
Coming home to your love, mama
Ive seen better days
I miss old friends that I once had
Times aint changed and Ill be glad when I go home
I dont know why the thought came to me
But why Im here I really cant see. and now...
I want to come home. its been so long since Ive been away
And please, dont blame me cause Ive tried
Ill be coming home soon to your love to stay
Coming home to stay
Coming home to your love, mama
Ive seen better days

Blame It On The Sun

(stevie wonder/syreeta wright)
Where has my love gone?
How can I go on?
It seems, dear
Love has gone away
Where is my spirit?
Im nowhere near it
Oh yes, my love has gone astray
But Ill blame it on the sun
The sun that didnt shine
Ill blame it on the wind and the trees
Ill blame it on the time
That never was enough
Ill blame it on the tide and the sea
But my heart blames it on me
Who poured the love out?
What made this bitter doubt?
Is peace not here for me to see?
Wish I could tell you what I am feeling
But words wont come for me to speak
Oh, Ill blame it on the sun
That didnt fill the sky
Ill blame it on the birds and the trees
Ill blame it on the day
That ended much too soon
Ill blame it on the nights
That could not be
But my heart blames it on me

Our Guessing Game

Walking in the sand
Thinking of things, adventures in my mind
Tall ships that sail
Across the ocean wide
They wont wait for me
See the way they glide away so gracefully
And with tomorrow what will become of me
They leave me so much to explain
Thats the start of our guessing game
There are times when I think Ive found the truth
There are times when I know that Im wrong
And the days when I try to hide my fears
Bless the days when Im feeling strong
Bless the days when Im feeling strong
Wonder why we try so hard
Wonder why we try at all
You wonder why the world is turning around
When in the end it wont matter at all
Standing in the town
Looking at people, counting their frowns
Unhappy faces, hurrying around
So blind they cannot see
All of these things
The way life ought to be
And with tomorrow what will they make of me
It leaves me so much to explain
Thats the start of our guessing game
There are times when I think Ive found the truth
There are times when I know that Im wrong
And the days when I try to hide my fears
Bless the days when Im feeling strong
There are times when I think Ive found the truth
There are times when I know that Im wrong
And the days when I try to hide my fears

See Me

ooooohh
Nananananana
Mmm-mmm
With the moon and the sun in his eyes
He's arriving
And I don't know what I'd do without him
I got life
Suddenly
See
See me
I've got nothing to hide
See me
I've got nothing to hide
See me
I'm leaving my heart in the palm of his hand
So gently
I know he knows that I love him
Though I've never said
Is there an easy way?
See
See me
I've got nothing to hide
See me
I've got nothing to hide
See me
Coming home
I'm coming home
It feels like I'm coming home
Coming home
I'm coming home
See (see me see me)
See me
I've got nothing to hide (nothing to hide)
See me
I've got nothing to hide (nothing to hide)
See (see me see me)
See me

Hard Times Come Again No More

Let us pause in life's pleasures and count its many tears,
While we all sup sorrow with the poor;
There's a song that will linger forever in our ears;
Oh, hard times come again no more.

Chorus:

'Tis the song, the sigh of the weary,
Hard times, hard times, come again no more,
Many days you have lingered around my cabin door,
Oh, hard times, come again no more.

While we seek mirth and beauty and music light and gay,
There are frail forms fainting at the door;
Though their voices are silent, their pleading looks will say
Oh, hard times come again no more.

Chorus

There's a pale drooping maiden who toils her life away,
With a worn heart whose better days are o'er:
Though her voice would be merry, 'tis sighing all the day,
Oh, hard times come again no more.

Chorus

'Tis a sigh that is wafted across the troubled wave,
'Tis a wail that is heard upon the shore,
'Tis a dirge that is murmured around the lowly grave,
Oh, hard times come again no more.

Chorus

Maybe Just Once

I cant believe
That what I feel
Is finally happening to me
Make it hurt
And point a finger
At my insecurites
Well I guess I just dont understand
About those complexities in your mind
And I guess I just dont understand
Why this world seems so unkind
Maybe
Maybe just one
I get just whats coming
Maybe
Maybe just once
I get whats coming to me
So once again
The way you feel
Youll never ever stay the same
And Im to blame
I wonder just who made
The rules up for this game
Well I guess I just dont understand
About what you want and what you need
And I guess I just dont understand
About why this is how it has to be
Maybe
Maybe just one
I get just whats coming
Maybe
Maybe just once
I get whats coming to me
So go around
You say those thousand things
You think you have to say
Look at me
And tell me loves not such
A hard word word anyway
Well how can you can count on me
I thought you realized for sure
And how can you just believe
I thought I deserved a little more
Maybe
Maybe just once
I get whats coming
Maybe
Maybe just once
I get whats coming to me
Oh god
Whats coming
Oh god
Whats coming to me

The Pale and Silver Moon's Blue Silk and Blossom

They bade you softly,
They bade you so -
'Do not go, do not go, '

To the pale and silver moon's blue silk and blossom
They fail you softly
Their words -
They fail you so

- To the pale and silver moon's blue silk and blossom
And in the snow
Yes - in the snow

Where words do pale, but justice do
The silver moon's blue silk and blossom
You trusted through
You trusted through

Little Words

When you are gone, there is nor bloom nor leaf,
Nor singing sea at night, nor silver birds;
And I can only stare, and shape my grief
In little words.

I cannot conjure loveliness, to drown
The bitter woe that racks my cords apart.
The weary pen that sets my sorrow down
Feeds at my heart.

There is no mercy in the shifting year,
No beauty wraps me tenderly about.
I turn to little words- so you, my dear,
Can spell them out.

Hard Times

Have you ever felt
That your life is a wasting
Happiness beyond your reach
Sweet love has gone astray
Suddenly its bitter
Hard times
Hard times
When youre all alone
Nothing seems to matter
Sadness always fills the air
Hurts so deep inside
You just have to cry out
Wow.....hard times
Wow.....hard times
Wow.....hard times
Wow.....hard times
Give yourself a chance
You have something special
That nobody else can claim
Deep inside your heart
Shines a revelation
Wow.....shine on
Wow.....shine on
Wow.....hard times
Wow.....hard times

The Wood And The Shore

The low bay melts into a ring of silver,
And slips it on the shore's reluctant finger
Though in an hour the tide will turn, will tremble,
Forsaking her because the moon persuades him.
But the black wood that leans and sighs above her
No tide can turn, no moon can slave nor summon.
Then comes the dark: on sleepy, shell-strewn beaches,
O'er long pale leagues of sand and cold, clear water
She hears the tide go out towards the moonlight.
The wood still leans… weeping she turns to seek him,
And his black hair all night is on her bosom.

A Man Ill Never Be

If I said whats on my mind
Youd turn and walk away
Disappearing way back in your dreams
Its so hard to be unkind
So easy just to say
That everything is just the way it seems
You look up at me
And somewhere in your mind you see
A man Ill never be
If only I could find a way
Id feel like Im the man you believe I am
And it gets harder every day for me
To hide behind this dream you see
A man Ill never be
I cant get any stronger
I cant climb any higher
Youll never know just how hard Ive tried
Cry a little longer
And hold a little tighter
Emotions cant be satisfied
You look up at me
And somewhere in your mind you see
A man Ill never be
If only I could find a way
Id feel like Im the man you believe I am
And it gets harder every day for me
To hide behind this dream you see
A man Ill never be

What Goes On

What goes on in your heart?
What goes on in your mind?
You are tearing me apart
When you treat me so unkind
What goes on in your mind
The other day i saw you
As i walked along the road
But when i saw him with you
I could feel my future fold
It's so easy for a girl like you to lie
Tell me why
What goes on in your heart?
What goes on in your mind?
You are tearing me apart
When you treat me so unkind
What goes on in your mind
I met you in the morning
Waiting for the tides of time
But now the tide is turning
I can see that i was blind
It's so easy for a girl like you to lie
Tell me why
What goes on in your heart?
I used to think of no on else
But you were just the same
You didn't even think of me
As someone with a name
Did you mean to break my heart and watch me die
Tell me why
What goes on in your heart?
What goes on in your mind?
You are tearing me apart
When you treat me so unkind
What goes on in your mind
In your mind
In your mind

Running From Yourself

As people say you can run but you damn sure can’t hide, if you are running from yourself....

Your problems and who you are STOP where you stand you have nowhere to go.

There is no rock to hide under, no hills to climb into; the answer should be very clear once you stop and search within.

Running from yourself only brings you pain as it clouds the mind and shakes up the brain.

Who are you?
Where shell you go?

Click your heels together for there is no place like home.

We are in a time frame where we no longer face what is wrong or fix the problem, no we will walk away so fast as our feet will allow as if it has never existed.

Running from yourself should make you tried for the end of your road is near. Soon you will have too look in the mirror, look at the person who is looking back at you and facing your fears that you have been running from for so many years.

We as people assume that it’s hard then what it really is. The question you should start with is.

do you love yourself? Why are you running?

Running from yourself only causes more problems then what it is worth, you start with placing the blame on other people then yourself, your had a hard life, your childhood was bad, your lost dreams, your children..

Your lover even the man in the moon STOP! ! Please just STOP and let it go for the bible tells us if you search you shell find; search your heart for peace of mind

Frenchman for the Night

Comes a song I've heard before
A scratchy grammaphone
Cuts to the bone
La vie en rose arpeggios
So the dream begins
And the song is amplified
Buy the beaujolais
On Bastille Day
He dances in the tide
Chorus:
By the light of the moon
Hes a frenchman for the night
By the light of the moon
It'll be all right
Well it takes him back
To the days of love and war
And the girl he knew
With eyes of blue
Waiting on the shore
If hed only known
How the years would fly on by
Such a simple crime
Hes run out of time
So he reaches for the sky
Chorus:
By the light of the moon
He's a frenchman for the night
By the light of the moon
It'll be all right
Blame it on the Champs Elysees
Blame it on a tune
Blame it on the stroke of Monet
But you can't escape the moon
You can't escape the moon.
He sees the stars above
As the floor to heaven's light
While the angels taunt
Cest une nuit blanche
He's a frenchman for the night.

Hard Times Are Over

Its been very hard
But its getting easier now.
Hard times are over, over for a while.
The leaves are shining in the sun,
And Im smiling inside.
You and I watching each other on a street corner,
Cars and buses and planes and people go by.
But we dont care, we wanna know,
Wanna know in each others eyes
That hard times are over, over for some time. (yeh!)
Hard times are over,
Hard times are over,
Hard times are over, over for awhile.
Its been very rough,
