My Melancholy Lamentation
You are like the wind
To hold you would be impossible
You are like the sun
For your love I’d stop a bullet from a gun
You are way too hot to handle
You are like the light that comes from a candle
You are like the clouds up in the sky
I’d jump that high, yes I would try
You are like the sands
You just seem to slip right thru my hands
You are like the rain
That washes away all my pain
You are like a bird
You’re like the sweetest sound that I’ve ever heard
You are like a star
O so close but yet so far
You are like the day
That brings forth life in every way
You take away my heart
Every time that we are apart
If only I you would love
I’d get down on my knees and thank God above
I see heaven in your eyes
When you are alone the moon cries
You mean everything to me
This is why I can’t let it be
I won’t ever push and shove
I’m begging you please return my love
Bring happiness again
You’re more than a lover, you’re my best friend
I am captured by your spell
I’d never bid thee fair thee well
For you my heart I would save
For it’s your love that I crave
I can’t get you out of my mind
For your love is an extraordinary find
If only you’d give to me
For you’d set my soul free
Love’s words can not convey
So that is why I lament everyday

Forsaking My Love
I hate you
I wish to tear you away from me
This tumor that clings to my chest
The thing that makes me ache
That haunts my dreams
And tears at my desires
You have brought me only pain
My untamed heart
That beast that gnaws at my soul
That pitifully whines
Bringing my mind into unwanted pain
Yet how can I blame you
How can I chastise you when I listen intently to your pleas
Why should I punish you for what my eyes feed upon
How can I blame my eyes for falling upon her
She who brings light to the eternal darkness of my soul
She whose eyes bring me to subjection
Whose smile leaves me in awe
How can I blame you when my ears are met with her laughter
How they submerge into her song
How they quiver at her voice
Why should I punish you for inclining my soul
Tempting it with the one sense that has been forsaken by her
How could I look over the thought of the brushing of lips
The touching of hands
The binding of the soul, mind, and body
O you wretched heart
What am I to do with this constant companion
How could I tear you away
When she is the cause of my agony
Or rather
It is the lack of her which brings me sorrow
It is the need for her that leaves my heart in pain
Yet she is not mine
She was never mine
She will never be mine
O my poor heart
How can I make you see reason
When all you do is show me the truth

How do I love thee ? Let me count the ways.
I love thee to the depth and breadth and height
My soul can reach, when feeling out of sight
For the ends of Being and ideal Grace.
I love thee to the level of everyday's
Most quiet need, by sun and candle-light.
I love thee freely, as men strive for Right;
I love thee purely, as they turn from Praise.
I love thee with the passion put to use
In my old griefs, and with my childhood's faith.
I love thee with a love I seemed to lose
With my lost saints,--I love thee with the breath,
Smiles, tears, of all my life !--and, if God choose,
I shall but love thee better after death.

Pain In Love
In a complete silence,
I heard loud cries,
Cry in pain,
Pain in Love,
Love for someone,
someone rests in heart,
Heart filled with affection,
Affection for someone,
Someone didn't understand,
Understanding of those feelings,
Feelings got hurt,
Hurting give wounds everyday,
Everyday the lover dies,
Dies for get someone in life,
Life is not so easy,
Not easy to handle a jar of love,
Love and Pain met together,
Together and forever,
Forever in pain,
Pain of lost love,
Lost Love never found again,
Again and again in a dark,
Darkness In life accompanies the soul,
The soul who visited me,
Me hearing those cries,
Cry for pain in love,
Pain In love is really so loud,
Loud in silence, more louder in many voices,
Voices ask about the cry,
And Reply comes, I cry in pain,
Pain of love, paining in love,
Crying and dying for love,
Really I am dying with pain in love.

Synergy of Love
'Were you honed from poetry? '
I asked your saddened smile.
For it seems to tell a longing tale -
One of words in oratory
That speaks in languid metaphors
From lips of mind in deep despair
And solitude from inner wars
That over time has rendered life so frail.
'Were you carved from doleful prose? '
I sought to ask your gaze,
For a pain lies deep within your eyes -
One of barren territory
Where no fair heart could ever drift
And hope to venture back content
With grateful memories in a gift -
A land of your affectional demise.
'Do I hear a mournful hum? '
I wondered of your cry,
For it sings a song of deep lament -
One of quiet soliloquy
Recited on deserted strands
To waves that have no sense of song
And only wish to fight the sands -
A chant that cites emotional descent.
Do you know your face portrays
The colours of your soul?
It tells me at a single glance
Of how you burned your furnace whole
To stay the fire in our romance.
And see the prismic hues they bore!
I cherished all I ever saw:
Mauve of mystic; browns of rustic;
Reddened tones to match your blush;
Marine of passion, spending out your being,
Leaving you for ashen embers, fleeing
The dying light in hush of night.
And how you lay there empty.
So let me help re-grow the flowers
Once erect in fiery showers!
For now I've seen what love can do
When torn asunder - oh my catastrophic blunder!
But we must realise -
Our flaming want is meant to be!
We are the ocean and the sea;
The earth and moon; the sturdy tree:
All that makes the 'You and Me.'
And this is why I ache.
I wish to start again with thee,
In close and gripping
Synergy of love.

Push And Shove (feat. Justin Robertson)
If one kiss led to another, baby
I'm ready to forgive you honey
There's a light that shines between us
And it's worth the crying, lady
I was falling on sharp stones then
And my bones were cracking daily
No more weeping and lying now
and I'm holding you forever
and I'm holding you forever
[chorus]
love love Lord above
save us from the push and shove
let us blend together
find us and forgive us
love love Lord above
save us from the push and shove
let us blend together
find us and forgive us
Time they say, is the great healer
But I believe in chemicals baby
When the waves come crashing in
We are closer now than ever
We are closer now than ever
There was a cold space between us
Still we bridged that chasm lady
Desire love and friendship
We are sanctified together
We are sanctified together
[chorus]
love love Lord above
save us from that push and shove
love love Lord above
save us from that push and shove
love love Lord above
save us from that push and shove
love love Lord above
save us from that push and shove
love love Lord above
love love Lord above
love love Lord above
save us from that push and shove

I Love Thee
I love thee—I love thee!
'Tis all that I can say;—
It is my vision in the night,
My dreaming in the day;
The very echo of my heart,
The blessing when I pray:
I love thee—I love thee!
Is all that I can say.
I love thee—I love thee!
Is ever on my tongue;
In all my proudest poesy
That chorus still is sung;
It is the verdict of my eyes,
Amidst the gay and young:
I love thee—I love thee!
A thousand maids among.
I love thee—I love thee!
Thy bright hazel glance,
The mellow lute upon those lips,
Whose tender tones entrance;
But most, dear heart of hearts, thy proofs
That still these words enhance,
I love thee—I love thee!
Whatever be thy chance.

The Love Sonnets Of Proteus. Part II: To Juliet: XXII
ON THE NATURE OF LOVE
You ask my love. What shall my love then be ?
A hope, an aspiration, a desire?
The soul's eternal charter writ in fire
Upon the earth, the heavens, and the sea?
You ask my love. The carnal mystery
Of a soft hand, of finger--tips that press,
Of eyes that kindle and of lips that kiss,
Of sweet things known to thee and only thee?
You ask my love. What love can be more sweet
Than hope or pleasure? Yet we love in vain.
The soul is more than joy, the life than meat.
The sweetest love of all were love in pain,
And that I will not give. So let it be.
--Nay, give me any love, so it be love of thee.

How Do I Love Thee
How do I love thee...
I heard that from you
a million times.
How do I love thee...
yes my love
I believe
you love me so.
But my love,
you have to go
and find a job
because
you need to buy me
that long white dress
displayed
in the shop-window.
How do I love thee....
yes my love
I believe
you love me so.
But my love
you have to go
and find a job
you need to buy a house
for our future children
to play in its garden.
How do I love thee...
yes my love
I know
you love me so.
But my love,
that love
will become no meaning
if you can't bring me
to the altar
for our vows.

Give to Love
Love came knocking on thy door
With you in sight to love and adore
But thine did give
All that thou have and
need to live?
You gave thine lips for love to speak
You gave thine heart for love's heart's weak
You gave thine face, to love to trace
its tears across thee a sorrowful place
thou give to thy loss when it comes to love!
You gave thine soul to love's control
You gave love thy hand to hold
You gave thy feet for love to kiss
You gave thy happiness to love's bliss
You gave thy breast for love to touch
You gave thine body for love to clutch.
But what did love give thee?
Love took and took and left thee with nothing!
With nothing now you are at peace, thou art free!
This is what love did to me!

Push Me Shove Me
Motion always seemed to me
The way I ought to go
No one now gets in my way
I wont let my heartache show
The same situation
Wont bring me down no more
I get on without you now
I dont need your help for sure
Push me (push me) shove me
I dont call that love me
Call that over
There was once a time
When I would fall for all your lies
No I know the game you play
I see it clear there in your eyes
You cant cry inside me
I wont let you in my heart
I can walk out on my own
Its high time we moved apart
Push me (push me) shove me (push me)
I dont call that love me
Push me (push me) shove me (push me)
I dont call that love me
Call that over
You say talk it out
I say its all one big mistake
Cut so deep, its hard
And its the chance I have to take
I dont need to follow
I want a base love on my own
Motion or emotion
From now on thats how it goes
Push me (push me) shove me
I dont call that love me
Call that over
Push me (push me) shove me
I dont call that love me
Call that over

Sally
Sally, she says the sweetest things
But words won't stop the pain
She's painting skies of blue
While i'm standing in the rain
I love her still i always will
Sally, she sings the sweetest songs
But the melody is a lie
She's had a change of heart
I can see it in her eyes
I love her so i can't let go
Save every moment save every hour
Gone are the golden days we knew
Someone is lonely in love with the other
And i'm still in love with you
She was a flower child
When whe came into my life
And now the decades gone
And nothings turned out right
The feelings gone but life goes on
Someone is lonely
In love with the other
And i'm still in love with you
Sally, she says the sweetest things
But words won't ever do
You're throwing stones at me
That i can't throw back at you
I love you still
I always will

Love Comes
Words and music by robin zander & rick nielsen
Love comes round just in time
Something thats hard to find
Oh, no one knows what Ive been goin through
Same old song, how does it go?
Same old line, is it all we know?
And love comes round
In time to rescue me
Oh love!
Love comes around
Just in time
Love comes to save my heart (save my heart)
Oh love!
Love comes around
Love comes to save my heart (love comes round)
Love comes round just in time
Something thats hard to find
Oh kiss me now
You know I want you to
Oh love!
Love comes around
Just in time
Love comes to save my heart (save my heart)
Oh love!
Love comes around
Yes it does
Love comes to save my heart (love comes round)
Sometimes it slips on in slowly
Sometimes it makes itself lonley
Under the cover of darkness
Sometimes it feels oh so heartless
Oh love! (love comes around)
Save my heart
Love comes around (love comes around)
(love comes around) yes it does
Love comes to save my heart (save my heart)
Oh love!
Love comes around
Love comes to save my heart (love comes round)
Love comes around
Love comes to save my heart

The Light of Love
The light of love rests upon my face
And from within...has set me free
Love's created my... happy heart
And of hopes...of things...I'll be
The light of love abides... within...
My soul now like child
Starts my broken heart...to blossoming
With warmth....and radaince...mild
Today I have purpose...By loves
rare light...I feel
Pure love...loves pure light to
My soul... it revealed
My family...let loves light devine
Shine on us...I say...
Touch our hearts...and eyes...
That all may see
Love on us...Love...convey
Now this... my only mission is... sacrad
To send loves message far
The light of love...is my heart
Love... my guiding star
I tell my family and.... well.... well... they never listen, to these words
That only true love can say
For only true love can convey
So...If you love someone
Then... follow that heart
For when love is real and true
From love you'll never depart
For only pure love can
Fix the man with broken heart

Worn Out
Thy strong arms are around me, love
My head is on thy breast;
Low words of comfort come from thee
Yet my soul has no rest.
For I am but a startled thing
Nor can I ever be
Aught save a bird whose broken wing
Must fly away from thee.
I cannot give to thee the love
I gave so long ago,
The love that turned and struck me down
Amid the blinding snow.
I can but give a failing heart
And weary eyes of pain,
A faded mouth that cannot smile
And may not laugh again.
Yet keep thine arms around me, love,
Until I fall to sleep;
Then leave me, saying no goodbye
Lest I might wake, and weep.

My Angel Love (Trijan Refrain)
My angel love, My angel love,
Such beauty in my eyes,
You're sent to me from God above
For Heaven heard my cries.
He sent you with a love so pure
A divine soul that's sure to cure...
My broken heart
My broken heart
Is safe within your wings, secure.
My angel love, My angel love,
You take away the chains,
You help me break away free of
The heartaches and the pains.
You wrap me up and hold me tight
And pull me out into the light...
We fly away
We fly away
My angel love, this feels so right.
My angel love, My angel love,
Don't ever let me go,
I give my thanks to God above
For sending you below.
And when my time comes to an end
From all the years which we transcend...
I'll follow you
I'll follow you
To Heaven we will both ascend.
