Fractured Thoughts

As the world turns and my heart burns
I find some kind of resolution to the madness.
I am as I was and so shall I remain being.
Does that make sense to you?

It is clear as a bell to me that rings truth with a defining sound.
Picture this, wanting but not having and having yet still not wanting.
Paradoxical sounding but to the enlighten mind rings clarity.
It is a state of mind and being that is transcendental in form and function.

Can something have form and no structure but still have function?
Does that structure has to conform to a state of our reality?
Well from time I rise to liquid skies floating amongst the clouds
Crystal River’s flow to shimmer lights dancing on ripples in the water

The sent of cinnamon floating in the air as the baker solicit his wares
Ginger snaps abound with fresh made bread linger to lips salivating
Strawberry meadows rich for the reaping
Peaches line roads of chocolate sunshine elegantly embossed in field and streams

Elegant is our universe, as we inhabit a small corner we thrive and flourish
Peaceful from a distant with a heart that is blacker than the darkest part of any nightmare
Spinning aimlessly in the heavens we await all that is to come
We gaze to the sky in bewilderment asking ourselves “am I alone? ”

Placid lakes kinetic solidifies as humans cause amphibians to grow extra limbs
Breeding a legacy of destruction on yet unformed future selves
Eroding glaciers swamps down on white sands once had
The bigger the questions the harder to define a correct answer to solve the problem

The answer to the question is we are only alone in our heads
That is the only place that you can really be alone
It is the place of clarity where your mind is free to be all things
Be one with the universe and be a thinker, a dreamer, and a lover of all things with life.

But I believe

Sometimes something real is something you can't see
And there is no answer for the question how could that be
But I believe there is wind everywhere
And I believe that every heart has something to share
I believe that there are ideas in my mind
And that there is a treasure that nobody can find
I believe that behind the clouds there is a sun
And that the baby will someday run
So you don't have to see all the things
Because they are clear as the bell that rings

Morphing Thru Time

(michael cretu)
.
Earth. a biosphere.
A complex,
Subtly balanced life support system.
Et turtur nidum,
Ubi reponat pullos suos
Altaria tua domine virtutum,
Rex meus, et deus meus
(translation:
And the turtledove a nest
Where it might place its young
Your altar of strengths, lord,
My king and my god, )
We are floating over the line
Let us follow our mind
All of our life well wait for the answer
And the question is why
.
If were following our mind
We can glide into light
No one knows if therell be an answer
While were morphing thru time
.
We are floating over the line
Let us follow our mind
All of our life well wait for the answer
And the question is why
.
Were just travellers
In endless space
If were following our mind
We can glide into light
.
No one knows if therell be an answer
While were morphing thru time

They Say The Universe Will Expand So Fast

THEY SAY THE UNIVERSE WILL EXPAND SO FAST

They say the Universe will expand so fast
That no place will remain in touch with anyplace else
They say the universe will explode on itself
And leave us in another universe- parallel to this
They say the universe began so long ago
It has not begun
They say there is no universe- but a multiverse
They say the multiverse which we a part of
Has more than one tomorrow
And that where we are going
Is such a surprise
That we cannot possibly even begin to guess at it
They say the future
Is if not a miracle
Than a kind of Distant Dream so far from us
It cannot possibly connect to what we are and would be.

They say all all kinds of things
They don’t believe themselves.

They don’t know what to tell us
And we don’t know either

We live in our small space and time
And when our end comes
It will come
We pray to God
And don’t know if God will answer us in the end
But we pray
We hope
We don’t know for certain
Who and what we will become is unknown to us
But we pray God will save those we love

In My Mind

Album : Silencer (2001)
In my mind, in my mind a world of enchantment
Being sung through my mind
In my mind, visual enhancement
And I find myself in a red painted barn,
A million stars they pick me up and spin me
CHORUS
And now I am floating in a land of confusion
Or is it reality or just an illusion
And nothing makes sense, no start and no end
When you get more is when you get bored
In my mind, in my mind
Turning the handle and it's starting to stain
In my mind burns like a candle
And the wax tells a fairy tale
My heads for sale
I'm swimming through the hail
REPEAT CHORUS
In my mind, in my mind, in my mind
In my mind, (why can't you find yourself another place to rest...) in my mind, in my mind
In my mind, in my mind, in my mind
In my mind I see a red painted barn,
A million stars they pick me up and spin me
And now I am floating in a land of confusion
Or is it reality or just an illusion
And nothing makes sense, no start and no end
Cos when you get more is when you get bored
When you get more is when you get something
(Why can't you find yourself another place to rest...)
Cos when you get more is when you get bored
When you get more is when you get bored
When you get more is when you get bored
When you get more is when you get something
(Why can't you find yourself another place to rest...)
When you get more is when you get bored
When you get more is when you get bored
When you get more is when you get bored
When you get more is when you get something

1015 Water Water - Everywhere? ? ?

STRUCTURE & FORM IN POETRY. Classical Poetry always has Structure even though it does not always rhyme. The Structure gives it metere and flow which facilitates reading and recitation. In my book - recitability is an essential character of a good Poem! . A lesser know Poetical Structure is RHYME ROYAL which inposes a strict metre (usually imabic pentameter) and a strict rhyming pattern a b a b b c c. Each verse must consist of seven lines. The number of verses is optional! As an Environmental Scientist I am concerned with the Conservation of Water which is the subject of this Rhyme Royal

Whence comes this water that we need for life?
Where does it go when we flush it away?
A shortage in some countries causes strife
Will it run out like coal and oil one day?
For all resources there's a price to pay.
We all use water - like it was for free
Just turn the tap - it's there for you and me.

God touched the clouds and made the rain - from the rain
Formed the sea and from the sea formed the clouds
To rise and cool and give us rain again.
The rain provides the water for the crowds.
When it evaporates it goes back to the clouds.
Each dropp of water makes our lives secure
But every day we're using more and more.

The Planet Earth has water everywhere
Liquid or a solid or a vapour
In oceans - rivers - lakes and in the air
Icecaps or on frozen lakes like paper.
We scrape it off our windscreens with a scraper!
Mountain stream - boiling steam and freezing snow
A lolly ice? Thanks very nice - It is all H 2 O.

The Water Cycle keeps the water going
Round and round - none's lost to outer space
Precipitation - raining - hailing - snowing
Moves the water round from place to place.
Especially when a snowball hits your face.
Streams and rushing rivers keep it all in motion
Then water falls down waterfalls and ends up in the ocean!

Water Water everywhere - for our daily needs
Turn the tap and use the river and the well
Don't pollute - don't dam the spring that feeds
Without 'clean water' life on Earth is Hell!
Clean Water has no taste - no clour and no smell.
Water Water everywhere - please please stop and think
Water Water everywhere - but not one dropp to drink! ! ! ! !

Lest It Is Taken Away

Why was the universe made so vast?
Is it true we are really alone?
When it was formed the rules were cast,
We must stay in our God given zone.

If there's life out there it's plain to see,
Why the planets are so far apart,
All life has the God given right to be free,
He won't allow us to tear out its heart.

We need to search for the answers here,
Looking to space is a waste of our time,
The answer to our problems is crystal clear,
Our neglect should be classed as a crime.

When we send out probes in the search for life,
We attach really scant information,
Never a mention of the wars and the strife,
Man's greed while others die of starvation.

We portray ourselves as peaceful and kind,
But in reality the opposite is true,
If they ever come here it's a fact they will find,
Other life forms we aim to subdue.

We can't look after the planet we're on,
That's the reason we're looking elsewhere,
At the rate we're going very soon we'll be gone,
To those others it just isn't fair.

Let's surmise we make contact with an alien race,
Will they be they hostile or totally insane?
They may well use Earth as a stopover base,
While they look upon humans as inane.

Theories abound from the experts and boffins,
While in reality they do not have a clue,
What's true is we'll all end up in coffins,
No I'm not a scientific guru.

Future happenings cannot be foretold,
If we could we'd be millionaires,
What we have now we need to behold,
Out there, there is nothing compares.

The past is littered with theories that died,
Yet the truth can be stranger than fiction,
Who's told the truth and who has lied,
Theories are but a hopeful prediction.

Those worlds we look for are out of our reach,
To say otherwise is total delusion,
Cherish what we have is what we must teach,
Or Armageddon is a foregone conclusion.

We are courting disaster with these stupid notions
While there are hectares of Earth we don't know,
From rainforests through to our planets oceans,
If we explore them our knowledge will grow.

We waste billions on a fruitless search,
While our planet is slowly eroding,
It won't be long till we fall off our perch,
That's said with a sense of foreboding.

So let's waken up now before it's too late,
Our scientists are leading us astray,
It's our future on Earth to which we must relate,

‘'Lest It Is Taken Away''

Love Of My Heart

My Heart is something that gives me life
My Heart feeds and nurtures as if it were my wife
My Heart is kind and loving down to the last drop
My Heart keeps me going not wanting to stop
My Heart has a pulse to it unlike anything in this universe
My Heart gives me strength in the hardest traverse
My Heart gives me structure in such an unstructured place
My Heart beats at an insurmountable pace
My Heart bonds me together so that nothing could tear it apart
My Heart is something I loved right from the start

Crystal Ball

Written by tommy shaw
Lead vocals by tommy shaw
I used to like to walk the straight and narrow line
I used to think that everything was fine
Sometimes Id like to sit and gaze for days through sleepless dreams
All alone and trapped in time
All alone and trapped in time
I wonder what tomorrow has in mind for me
Or am I even in its mind at all
Perhaps Ill get a chance to look ahead and see
Soon as I find myself a crystal ball
Soon as I find myself a crystal ball
Tell me, tell me where Im going
I dont know where Ive been
Tell me, tell me, wont you tell me
And then tell me again
My heart is breaking, my bodys aching
And I dont know where to go
Tell me, tell me, wont you tell me
Ive just got to know
Crystal ball
Theres so many things I need to know
Crystal ball
Theres so many things Ive got to know
Crystal ball
[extra verse used occasionally live]
If you should see me walking
Through your dreams at night
Would you please direct me
Where I ought to be
Ive been looking for a crystal ball
To shed the light
To find a future in me...
To find a future in me...
Crystal ball
Theres so many things I need to know
Crystal ball
Theres so many things Ive got to know
Crystal ball

All The World Is Love

In my secluded state my mind
Valued things are hard to find
My mind's gone I know not where
left without a care
When my thoughts are taking flight
pen them down on sheets of white
Building castles in the air
left without a care
In a crowded room alone that's where you'll find me
I have left my mind somewhere floating behind me
Blue skies white clouds to be seen
wish my mind could be as clean
As the clouds that swim above
all the world is love
chorus
Bubbles forming all around
Left my body on the ground
Unattached too hard to move
All the world is love
All the world is love
All the world is love

Delusion

I would live forever beneath a rainbow if I could,
But if I became a dove, I would lift my wings and fly past that rainbow,
Worship the sun, play hide and seek with
Clouds of fortune and
When evening set in I would
Dance amongst the stars, search for the moon,
Let the light of the moon guide me towards
Some other planet and there I would make my home.
The rings of Saturn are enticing, and far more mysterious than
The seas and continents of the planet earth-
Saturn has always been the foremost and intriguing planet
Within the magical ocean of my dream world-
Yesterday I awakened at dawn, to find a rainbow on the horizon-
Its vibrant colors seemed to summon me, and Inside the world of my fantasies
I became that dove and soared upward toward the sky
Until I found myself hovering amidst that rainbow-
Its colors reflecting in the stream below-
But sad to say, rainbows always disappear and
I would find myself without destination wading in that stream,
That stream that leads towards nowhere.
However when I close my eyes to reality and once again become that dove,
I ascend in flight into the universe, my eyes fixed upon Saturn and
The rings of Saturn are so like a rainbow that is spinning
About this magnificently beautiful planet I would want to make my home,
I would live beneath a rainbow if I could,
And when that rainbow disappears I would take flight and find Saturn-
Saturn is amazing in its appearance and
Is glorious and extraordinary in all tales that have been told of planets in the universe,
Doves have been correlated with peace and I can see myself in flight
Safely in my solitude as I would be the first living being on that planet-
Its rainbow-like rings about me that I know shall never fade away-
I being the peaceful dove that has escaped veracity forever and
While rainbows on earth may be lovely to see, they are short lived-
The rings of Saturn shall always be there glistening, and enlightening night's darkness.
Inside my mind I have always dreamed of an incomparable place to call home-
A unique, far away place where I can bask in my solitude-
Perhaps I shall never be a dove flying about Saturn and rainbows always fade,
But when I close my eyes I shall always see many colors, stars and the universe,
And inside of my mind, fantasy shall transform to reality until the day I die-
And the day I die my spirit shall rise past clouds of fortune and
Shall live amongst the stars, Saturn and the other planets in the universe for always…

Clueless Still

my wife asks me
why do you remain a stone?

why are you so impenetrable?
my answer is a gaze.

i wait if she insists if she repeats the question
over and over again
perhaps thinking that with repetition
i may become soft as water
and shall soon allow a
moss to grow
a fish to thrive

and then my answer turns into a stare
my eyes burning with fire

is it love? is it this love within me?
is it the one handed to me like a torch in a race?

my mouth is indifferent.
she cries. she says there is a boulder between us.

i kiss her. Inside my mind, a river runs.
you figure out where it is going.

950. Mother, Demolish my identity! Let me go out of ego cover! 240208

Amma,

As a floating balloon traps air from atmosphere
My little self is ensnared by ‘I’ encircling sphere!
Prick the wall! Let the air out to be one with sky
Crush the ‘I’! Let the self out to be one with thy!

As a floating sealed earthen pot of water in Ganges
My identity blocks all way that self with Self mergence
Break the pot! Let the water mingle with Holy River
Demolish my identity! Let me go out of ego cover!

As the charismatic silence is being the language of Love
Why the stupid mind is always engaged chattering loud?
As blissful state is my true nature in vigilance full
Why am I chased by sorrow pertained to body small?

As the ever expanding space is my dwelling place
Why am I bound in a fragile body with nine holes?
As all the objects under universe ever belong to me
Why am I after trivial things, bound by senses five? 240208

A winter mornings window

A winter mornings window
~
The early hour of a winters morning
While the world still sleeps sound
The window framed in a ring of frost
Reveals amber beacons of street lights
Leading the mind to wander away
Up streets and roads masked in shadow
A kettle boils to stir the mind
Back to reality for the briefest of moments
The slight half sleeping clarity
Of a mind awake in the unsocial hour
Peaceful and undisturbed in its thinking
Then back to the vacancy of night
The cloud covered sky above
No stars, not even the lights off a plane
Just a grey black kind of nothing
Dimly lit by the amber beacons
Of the street lights below
A warm cup in hand warming
Helps drift the body to a tired state
Ready to dream and think about
Something, somewhere, another time

betrayed by love
death guaranteed
floating above myself

trying to reajust to reality
not some ones pity
Please give me an

Age 28 on way to school

Words Spoken

Words spoken to self in isolation
Mystery not in question but in relation
Simple confusion in mind
Forcing others to find out its kind

Yet nice appreciation,
Applause from all over and no more questions
Mind reveals and heart opens
Ripples created and caught by fans

Why do we try to speak our mind?
Is something necessary of that kind?
Why at all you want sympathy?
That people should have soft corner and feel pity

No one has seen you breaking off?
If so, they would have definitely laughed
As you were boosting of your love at all places
All were jealous of you with frown on faces

You were afraid that you will be made victim
A simple donkey with no sense to reach home
Uncertain mind as was made of you with satire
Now you feared it will be certainly put on fire

So it is better to speak through poetry
It will be race but gaining from back door entry
No one to know who the man behind is?
What will be pain behind or tease

It is nice to appease and find solution
In one way it reduces some what tension
You have little insight with no more confusion
The answer is found within the question

Little Wonders

Let it go,
Let it roll right off your shoulder
Don't you know
The hardest part is over
Let it in,
Let your clarity define you
In the end
We will only just remember how it feels

Our lives are made
In these small hours
These little wonders,
These twists & turns of fate
Time falls away,
But these small hours,
These small hours still remain

Let it slide,
Let your troubles fall behind you
Let it shine
Until you feel it all around you
And i don't mind
If it's me you need to turn to
We'll get by,
It's the heart that really matters in the end

Our lives are made
In these small hours
These little wonders,
These twists & turns of fate
Time falls away,
But these small hours,
These small hours still remain

All of my regret
Will wash away some how
But i can not forget
The way i feel right now

In these small hours
These little wonders
These twists & turns of fate
These twists & turns of fate
Time falls away but these small hours
These small hours, still remain,
Still remain
These little wonders
These twists & turns of fate
Time falls away
But these small hours
These little wonders still remain

No Wish To Hate

Did we ever wish to hate?
Is it explicit to state?
Is it one of the important things?
I am not ready to except for such things

Whenever I see any animal suffering
Uncared for on road and lying
I rush to help and offer water
Such is the state of mind we offer

It is our basic feeling
We tolerate no such sufferings
There remains in us a kind heart
Breathing for life as human art

Man can never kill a man
Women can't tolerate suffering of woman
Tease may trouble them from inner soul
This is not the way or our goal?

Does hate get any place in our mind?
Do we have to try for it and find?
No one may agree to give it little place
With it man may become mad in chase

Stretch out wide and use vision
You will find no confusion
World strives very hard
To revive and survive for life to be standard

A difficult separation

First time in life I came to know what is separation
I had read enough about it in books with simple narration
I took it lightly with single meaning of staying away
Only for few days or months to be free from her sway

Many husbands may be wanting complete freedom form her yoke
They may enter into cheap comments about her and cut rude jokes
They may feel her association with them as real curse
They simply forget that she is the only person who can heal or nurse

In reality it is altogether different from what we think or profess
In private they may come out with all difficulties and openly confess
The whole home turns into shambles and things get scattered
On her arrival she may find it altogether in new form and altered

The feeling for complete freedom form her becomes complete illusions
Things go completely out of hand to make it as mere compulsion
It is altogether a show of desperado wanting to enjoy in absence
Wife was always providing all comforts in her presence

Well I could find so much difference when she was not here
I had all the options to go and make marry making anywhere
At the same time it occurred to the mind that it may be totally unfair
Why to create ugly scene in her absence and later on split the hair

I felt some thing was snatched away to make me feel lonely
I preferred to stay at home and feel everything homely
It was her presence that made surrounding lively
Nobody can take her place even if it is done nicely

Opening of the day and bright sun had nothing special to offer
Many times I used quarrel with her and on most of the points differed
She may come smilingly at me and make the thing so smooth
She knew the essence of relation and realized the truth

I could feel her absence in every corner
It looked as if it had no owner
Garden too started turning into desolations
This truth was emerging in isolation

I still hear her sweet voice in kitchen
Honey bees come and make sound in garden
Cool breeze too spread fragrance with open sky
I continuously wonder and ask the questions, why?

I was dreaming in day light when heard some sweet voice
She was getting down with some kids making heavy noise
I didn’t believe my eyes as to what made her come back soon?
Why had she made p her min d to reach here in hot afternoon?

Two Worlds

Like a dream, my life has gone past me
Taken so soon but love burns so true
Love never ending that shines like the stars in the sky
And I sing but so few can hear me
Words from the heart to set your souls free
Time has no distance deep in love
Know everything goes
Everyone knows theres something beyond us
There is a light believe me
Time turns into dust
Cry if you must
But love is the answer
Bringing two worlds together
Who can see the secrets that bind us?
Back to the earth til love rings so true
Eyes of compassion and tears of a deepening heart
I have seen the pain of a cruel world
And reached out a hand for suffering to ease
Bringing some comfort to the tears
Know everything goes
Everyone knows theres something beyond us
There is a light believe me
Time turns into dust
Cry if you must
But love is the answer
Bringing two worlds together into one
A mountain of flowers and the perfume
Floating so high
Hush and the stillness in a million minds
Know everything goes
Everyone knows theres something beyond us
There is a light believe me
Time turns into dust
Cry if you must
But love is the answer
Bringing two worlds together into one
