Her flame was only for the women –
Not for us unlucky men;
A weakness lay for feminine way:
To feel an even fairer skin
In silky slide.

And I say no (no), no more, I cant see you again
But I dont know if I mean it
I dont know if I just pretend
I make up my mind the feelings dead
But whos fooling who inside my head
And I know that I had the feeling
That somethings wrong
Its been out of my control for much too long
I always seem to want to fall in love
With the iron hand inside the velvet glove
But it feels too good

I lost my pride long ago (and you know it)

My private beatings never show

Blind father
It is sad how you wish to see my face
You walk slowly towards the door
Stepping on eggs so carefully
How I wish I could go inside your heart
