Verses Why Burnt

HOW many verses have I thrown
Into the fire because the one
Peculiar word, the wanted most,
Was irrecoverably lost!

A Most Peculiar Man

He was A Most Peculiar Man.
That's what Mrs. Riordan said and she should know;
She lived upstairs from him
She said he was A Most Peculiar Man.
He was A Most Peculiar Man.
The lived all alone within a house,
Within a room, within himself,
A Most Peculiar Man.
He had no friends, he seldom spoke
And no one in turn ever spoke to him,
'Cause he wasn't friendly and he didn't care
And he wasn't like them.
Oh, no! he was A Most Peculiar Man.
He died last Saturday.
He turned on the gas and he went to sleep
With the windows closed so he'd never wake up
To his silent world and his tiny room;
And Mrs. Riordan says he has a brother somewhere
Who should be notified soon.
And all the people said, "What a shame that he's dead,
But wasn't he A Most Peculiar Man?

Michael Caine

Well get ya ya ya
Well get ya ya ya
(I am michael caine)
La la la la la la la la
Hes walking where Im afraid I dont know
I see the firemen jumping from the windows
Theres panic and I hear somebody scream
He picks up useless paper and puts it in my pocket
Im trying very hard to keep my fingers clean
I cant remember tell me whats his name
(my name is michael caine)
And all I wanted was a word or photograph to keep at home
And all I wanted was a word or photograph to keep
The sun is laughing its another broken morning
I see a shadow and call out to try and warn him
He didnt seem to hear just turned away
The quiet fellow follows
And points his finger straight at you
He had to sacrifice his pride, yes
And throw it all away
(I am micheal caine)
And all I wanted was a word or photograph to keep at home
And all I wanted was a word or photograph to keep
His days are numbered he walks round and round in circles
There is no place he can ever call his own
He seems to jump at the sound of the phone
Staring out the window theres nothing he can now do
All he wanted was to remain sane
He cant remer hisemb own name
(my name is michael caine)
And all I wanted was a word or photograph to keep at home
And all I wanted was a word or photograph to keep
All I wanted was a word or photograph
All I wanted was a word or photograph to keep

Kolkata Burning

The wild flames of fire
Has engulfed us all
Bricks, mortars, stones
All things from the roof did fall.
All were confused,
All ran helter skelter
All wanted a hand of help
All wanted a safe shelter.
Fire was here and fire was there
Fire was far and fire was near
The wall of flame went restless
People roared below
And fire was tameless.
Its long tongue
Destroyed all
Fire spread like a cannon ball.
I heard some saying
Fire will never tire
I heard some saying
The world will end in fire.

Walked Outta Heaven

[Verse 1-Brian]
I'm rolling down a lonely highway asking god to please forgive me for messing up tha blessing he gave to me i see,
everything clearer now the nights is black as, black as its ever been
without my girl imma lose it i pray that he would just shed his grace on me, i need, just to be back with my baby
[Chorus]
feel like i just walked right out of heaven
feel like i done damn near thrown my life away, hey yea yea
Scared, just like a child thats lost at seven
dont know what to do feel like i just walk right out of heaven
[Verse 2-brandon]
see my mamma told me thats if its meant to be she'll come back and she'll forgive me and the best thing i can do it to just
let her, let her go i know, i don't wanna do it
but if i continue to push she'll just pull away and i know that in my heart its a reality i didn't treat her like she wanted
to be treated, and i hope that shes not gone for good no no
[Chorus]
feel like i just walked right out of heaven
feel like i have damn near thrown my life away, hey
Scared, just like a child thats lost at seven
dont know what to do get back right with you
feel like i just walked right out of heaven
feel like i have damn near thrown my life away, hey yea yea
like a child thats lost at 7
dont know what to do feel like i just walk right out of heaven
[Bridge 1]
cant lie waiting for you all the time, suppose to move on with my life, and girl i tried and i tried
i feel like i can't walk, i feel like i can't talk girl i dont know what to do get back right with you i feel like i just
walked outta heaven
[Bridge 2-Wingo]
if u ever loved somebody, and if you ever had somebody, but you know that you hurt that somebody, let me here you say yea
[Chorus-repeat till fade]
feel like i just walked right out of heaven
feel like i done damn near thrown my life away, hey
scared just like a child thats lost at seven
dont know what to do to get back right with you
feel like i just walked right out of heaven
feel like i done damn near thrown my life away, hey yea yea
Scared just like a child thats lost at seven
dont know what to do feel like i just walk
feel like i just walked right out of heaven
feel like i done damn near thrown my life away, hey
scared just like a child thats lost at seven
dont know what to do feel like i just walk right out of heaven

Rough Sea

i wish to be

every other corner
i am thrown rises
another heaven

every other corner
a heaven of new

I, Me, Mine

In the Beginning
(or perhaps a little later)
there was I.

And then, because I was lonely,
there was ME.

And WE got on like a house on fire!
And, so that we could have something in common,
there was MINE.
And we got on like a house on fire.
(Very MUCH like a house on fire!)

And then YOU came along
and spoilt everything
because YOU wanted YOURS;
and what YOU called YOURS
was actually mine.

And to make matters worse,
you brought HIM with you;
and he wanted HIS.

And although he could have SHARED YOURS,
he didn't. He wanted it all to himself.
AND he wanted MINE.

And so it all went wrong.
There was the Spanish Armada
and the French Revolution
and the Second World War
and Vietnam
and Tony Blair
and it's all such a MESS!

And yet, it started out so WELL!

Perspective

I wanted to sing a song of praise, so I sat down and wrote,
a song that glorified my Christ in every word and note.
I spent so much time in word and rhyme, that I almost got in wrong...
I almost lost my Savior in the song.

I wanted to build a place to pray, where Christian souls could meet,
a church filled with the Spirits touch, a sweet, solemn retreat.
I planned so much and worked so hard in every brick I stacked,
I somehow lost my joy within the act.

I wanted to share the redeemers love and preach salvations plan,
to let a lost and sinful world know that Jesus died for man.
I placed myself above those sins, and to myself I lied,
and lost the message in my foolish pride

I want to give my heart to God, to step out on the limb.
To put my sinful pride aside and define myself through Him.
Why is it so hard to truly let my Savior take control?
To live for Him with Heart...and Mind...and Soul.

God wants my obedience... but first he wants my heart.
God wants me to share his love...but first I have to start,
to reflect upon my motives and the plan He has for me....
To never lose the view from Calvary.

Words of Fire

Words of Fire,
Words of Power,
With the force of a steam train,
With the speed of a bullet,
You hit me.

You knocked me off my high horse,
Upon the ground I lay,
Unable to move,
Such is the power of your word,
You hit me.

When first I read your word,
Words of Fire,
Words of Power,
The threat of culpable damnation,
The gift of undeserved salvation.

You are the living Word,
The only word,
Who was,
Who is,
Who is to come.

Words of Fire,
Words of Power,
Words of Eternity,
Words of Fire,
That burn within my heart.

From my youth,
My hair now grey,
Those words of Fire,
Those words of Power,
My life maintained.

Writer's gift

The flow of ink in the writer’s pen
The flow of thoughts in the writer’s mind
A golden thread joining the sweet words
An enduring garland fresh with thoughts
A precious gem, worthier than gold
An epic in itself, the writer’s gift
No word is spoken, yet the tale is told
His mind speaks, his heart speaks
He blows life in each of his creation
The verses breath, the verses speak
The writer dies, yet the verses live

Deep Regret

Now leave me forever,
And i was so glad to meet you but now you're gone
They try to laugh at us but their smiles
Slowly rupture into a
linear confusion.
I wanted you
but now i need you.
I've thrown it all away and made the same mistakes.
Electric blanket keeps my feet alive,
Just so i can get to you faster
I wanted you
but now i need you.
I've thrown it all away and made the same mistakes.
Now comes that time when we lie to ourselves.
Feeding off the eyes of cupid.
Now comes that lie, time and time again,
feeling such deep regret but holding onto you.
Now leave me here because i want to rot on my own.
I feel no fear because i know that this way i can't hurt you.
My time grows near, i reach out and i touch the fire.
So leave me here, because i want you so bad.
Now comes that time when we lie to ourselves.
Feeding off the eyes of cupid.
Now comes that lie, time and time again,
feeling such deep regret but holding onto you.
Now leave me here because i want to rot on my own.

Kya kahna (What to tell)

She was as innocent as water
And fell in love with a romantic hero.
He won one more feather to his cap.
She lost her only feather to his trap.

He is a hunter. She is a hunted.
What mercy could exude from a hunter?
A Viswamithra he became. A thrown
Out Meneka, she stood resolute.
She wanted not to eat a humble pie.
She wanted not to emulate Kunti.
She wanted to retain her motherhood.
Against all the law and all the ethics.

A monument her child might come,
That would humble him to fall at her feet,
Which she wanted, and rejected outright
To marry the former lover she shunned.

Murder not the motherhood
If moral or immoral.
Reject not the beloved
If a virgin or a victim.
Then would rebound the motherhood.
Then refined would be the beloved

Fundamental of Liar Chapter CV: Later

A magic word to stop a whining child
A lazy word to avoid problem
A vague word to cover our fear
A determined word to achieve our dream
A distant word to hang the commitment
A teaser word to hint surprise
A playful word to tease the loser
A promise word to fire revenge
A threatening word to doom the enemy

Walked Out Of Heaven

I'm rollin' down alonely highway
Askin God toplease forgive me
For messing up the blessin he gave to me
I seeeverything clearer now
The night's as black...
Black as it's ever been
Without my girl
Im'ma lose it
And I pray that he just sheds his grace on me
I need just to be back with my baby
Feels like I just walked right out of heaven
I feel like I done damn near thrown my life away (yea yea yeah)
Like a child that's lost at seven
I don't know what to do
Feels like I just walked right out of heaven
See my mama told me that if it's meant to be
She'll come back and she'll forgive me
And the best thing I can do is to just let her let her go
I know I don't wanna do it
But if I continue to push she'll just pull away
And I know that in my heart it's a reality
I didn't treat her like she wanted to be treated
And I hope that she's not gone for good
No No No
Feels like I just walked right out of heaven
It feels like I done damn near threw my life away(hey)(I done damn near thrown my life away)
I'm scared just like a child that's lost at seven
I don't know what to do(Don't know what to do)
To get back right with you(Get back right with you baby)
It feel like I just walked right out of heaven
It feel like I done damn near throw my life away(yea yea yeah)(Damn near thrown my life away)
Like a child that's lost at seven
I don't know what to do(Don't know what to do)
I feels like I just walked right out of heaven
Baby,
Right before you all the time
So close to you, wrong with my life(Wrong with my life)
Girl I try and I try(I try and I try)
I feel like I can't walk
I feel like I can't talk(I can't even talk)
Don't know what to do
To get back right with you
I feel like I just walked out of heaven
If you ever love somebody
And if you ever have somebody
But you know where your heart can hurt by somebody
Let me hear you say yeah
(It feels like I just walked right of heaven baby)
Feels like I just walked right out of heaven
It feels like I done damn near thrown my life away(hey)(I feel like I done thrown my life away
Scared just like a child that's lost at seven
I don't know what to do
To get back right with you
It feel like I just walked right out of heaven(I just wanna get back right with you)
I feel like I done damn near thrown my life away(hey yea yeah)(I wanna spend my life with you, woah)
Like a child that's lost at seven (woah woah woah woah woah woah woah wo waaa yeah)
I don't know what to do
It Feels like I just walked (yeah)
Feels like I just walked right out of heaven
It feels like I damn near threw my life away(yeah)(hey, somebody hear me out right now)
It feels just like a child that's lost at seven (Sombody feel me out riiight now)
I don't know what to do (I cant do no more)

Lost You...

You've found out what it is
What's without a cause
Thrown upon losses
I find it hard to achieve what comes so easy
Thrown upon roses
The darkness we feels spawns human hearts
Retreat from denial of my own
And the thoughts have been caged deep within my self
What if I lost
What if I lost you
What if I lost
What if I lost you
You found out all 27 out on the east end
Brought upon closeness
Well many times we walked upon the fine line
But have me crossed it
Don't walk out that door all torn apart
Don't try and the best
Outside my own
And the thoughts have been caged deep within my self
What if I lost
What if I lost you
What if I lost
What if I lost you
Yeah
Dive down into the ocean
We walk
We both find it conclusive
Yeah, playing our parts
Our parts
The darkness we feels spawns human hearts
Retreat from denial of my own
And the thoughts have been caged deep within my self
What if I lost
What if I lost you
What if I lost
What if I lost you
What if I lost
What if I lost you
What if I lost
What if I lost you
Yeah

I have thrown words beloved

I have thrown words beloved,
thrown words at thy feet,
tried to comfort and blanket thee
with verses complete
tried to wrap me
in words of meadowsweet.

I have tried beloved
to express my love to thee,
tried to be at thy side
but life with its challenges
sent me far and wide
and sometime only in my mind
I still see your sweet image,
scent your smell, touch your lips
and have you here with me
and I still love thee sincerely.

Word of love and the Word made flesh
Word incarnate forever blessed
Word of life and the Word of light
Word of power and Word of might.

Word that was spoken, Word of the Lord
Word of the Law and the Word of God
Word of peace and Word eternal
Word of truth and last Word of all.

Word of wisdom and the Word of healing
Word from heaven, a Word so appealing
Word fulfilling the Word of prophecy
Word of the Spirit and Word of destiny.

Word of exhortation and Word of grace
Word of encouragement and Word of faith
Word of promise and a Word of insight
Word from the beginning and Word of delight.

Word of knowledge and a Word of boldness
