As Before

My tragedy
I see everything
as it is
and change nothing
like before.

Silence Becomes the Tragedy

No word spoken,
Can change to affect...
All that which has been injected!

Although some degree of change is there...
A fear of it has been implanted,
To object to and denounce...
As something suspect to slant and trounce.
To rid and bounce away.

Crimes and criminals,
With deceptions to project...
Have come to an end,
Of misdeeds that were hopefully kept fed
To uphold and defend!

And no word spoken,
Can replenish those of lost minds.
There is no time that is left,
To restore the confidence,
Of those suffering heartbreak...
And missing those loved ones put to death!

Silence becomes the tragedy!
As those who now 'see'...
Attempt to take deep breaths!
Silence becomes the tragedy.
And yet...
Sleepless are the nights,
Stealing those away from peace.

Sleepless are the nights,
Coming to stir a consciousness...
And arriving to leave,
A grieving done!
With a prolonged test,
To maintain a sanity.

Silence becomes the tragedy...
Never again to experience,
The fading of complete rest!

Silence becomes the tragedy...
Left for one to battle alone inside,
Uncontested mentally!

Tragedy is nothing new

I am still in love with you
Tragedy is nothing new.

I still don’t understand you
Tragedy is nothing new.

I still feel sad without you
Tragedy is nothing new.

I still can’t make love with you
Tragedy is nothing new.

Olivia Wilde

The mark of a good marriage is partnership and continuing to feel inspired by your spouse. I had that with Tao. But the end is not necessarily the tragedy. Staying in a relationship that is no longer working is the tragedy. Living unhappily - that's the tragedy.

Change! Change! Change!

change! change! change!
everybody talkin' about change.

change your look,
change your luck,
change your politics,
change your religion...

change the country,
change the world....
change the day!
change your underwear!

loose change, pocket change,
winds of change, march for change....

but all real change begins within...
let's work on that,
and then everything else
will change in turn!

Tragedy

(Emmylou Harris/Rodney Crowell)
Some say it's destiny
Whether triumph or tragedy
But I believe we cast our nets out on the sea
And nothing we gather
Comes for free
I would have paid down through the years
A price beyong rubies beyond tears
To keep you safe with me
But your suspicion and your fear
Your vow to let nobody near was your trinity
Such a tragedy
I drew the best hand you'd ever hold
Then cashed my winnings in long ago
Settled for silver how could I know
You were waiting with the gold
I could have caused your heart to yield
But I was only a disturbance in the field
Of your dreams
And I will never see you cry
You won't be with me when I die
A waste of you and me
A tragedy
We took the wrong train to
Kingdom come now
No more damage
Can be done baby
It's just what the world don't need
It's another stinkin tragedy
That's how the story goes
Our chapter's coming to a close
We are history
But I will always think of you
Every day until my days are through
You made me believe
In tragedy

Every human being on this earth is born with a tragedy, and it isn't original sin. He's born with the tragedy that he has to grow up. That he has to leave the nest, the security, and go out to do battle. He has to lose everything that is lovely and fight for a new loveliness of his own making, and it's a tragedy. A lot of people don't have the courage to do it.

Tragedy

Here I lie
in a lost and lonely part of town
Held in time
In a world of tears I slowly drown
Goin'home
I just can't make it all alone
I really should be holding you
Holding you
Loving you loving you

Tragedy
When the feeling's gone and you can't go on
It's tragedy
When the morning cries and you don't know why
It's hard to bear
With no-one to love you you're
goin' nowhere
Tragedy
When you lose control and you got no soul
It's tragedy
When the morning cries and you don't know why
It's hard to bear
With no-one beside you you're
goin' nowhere
When the feeling's gone and you can't go on

Night and day
there's a burning down inside of me
Burning love
With a yearning that won't let me be
Down I go
and I just can't take it all alone
I really should be holding you
Holding you
Loving you loving

Tragedy
When the feeling's gone and you can't go on
It's tragedy
When the morning cries and you don't know why
It's hard to bear
With no-one to love you you're
goin' nowhere
Tragedy
When you lose control and you got no soul
It's tragedy
When the morning cries and you don't know why
It's hard to bear
With no-one beside you you're
goin' nowhere

Tragedy etc.

Change in Me

Why I need change?
for better or for the worst?
Any choices to change or not?

I need change when
There is an opportunity to grow and mature
Things being done the wrong way

Dealing with a world of change
I rediscover change
Change is the law of life

Those who look only
to the past or the present
Are certain to miss the future

I may change anything I want or don't want
But I can't change everything I want

My dilemma is
I hate change and
love it at the same time

Best of all
What I want is
For things to remain the same
but get better.

Lastly,
I need strong courage to change,
To master change;
Be the master of change.

Always I want change,
To get where I want to be,
Be the change I want to have.

Lovehatetragedy

Human behavior
Peculiar it seems
Some thrive on hate
Some love the dream
Everyone's got a purpose and wants to be loved
I think I found my purpose
I think I found love

Hidden inside myself

Tragedy
Strikes when you least expect it

Hate and destruction crashed down on our world
The stars and the stripes
The boys and the girls
It's sad it took war just to bring us together
I believe in love
I believe in forever

Hidden inside ourselves

You better run
You better run
For your life
For your life
Shed a tear
Shed a tear
Live in fear

Tragedy day
Tragedy day
Tragedy day

Fortune of Misfortune

Tragedy or misfortune have another side to behold.
Oft times they point to directions heretofore untold.
Since life is so hurried with labors of the day,
Who can find a moment to view a different way?

There’s little time to decide if a chosen course is right.
Search for wealth drives happiness almost out of sight.
By becoming a cruel, omnipresent, unyielding master
Money can force chagrined slaves to labor ever faster.

Then fortune of misfortune strikes as all becomes strange.
Customs and thinking are challenged by airs of change.
Because of fear and uncertainty most fail to stay the course.
Tough the strong forge on using tragedy as their source.

C.S. Lewis

Love anything, and your heart will certainly be wrung and possibly be broken. If you want to make sure of keeping it intact, you must give your heart to no one, not even to an animal. Wrap it carefully round with hobbies and little luxuries; avoid all entanglements; lock it up safe in the casket or coffin of your selfishness. But in that casket - safe, dark, motionless, airless - it will change. It will not be broken; it will become unbreakable, impenetrable, irredeemable. The alternative to tragedy, or at least to the risk of tragedy, is damnation. The only place outside Heaven where you can be perfectly safe from all the danges and perturbations of love is Hell.

Change In Scenery

I'll keep my small town girl name
but you can change the trees
change the breeze

I'll keep my big heart
but you can change the roads
change the toads

I'll keep my ice-melting smile
but you can change the distance
change the miles

I'll keep my soft hands
but you can change the grass
change the land

I'll keep what makes me me
but you can change our untogetherness
and change the scenery

My life. Or yours.

You change for me
I change for you
Why did we change at all
You change for yourself
I change for myself
We look and see
Change wasn't ment to be
We were perfect the way we were
But now it's too late
We still change
Just like society
But not as drastic
You change
I change
We change together
For the better

Our Love Will Never Change

The world will change
But it’s happiness won’t change.

The people will change
But their smiles won’t change.

The seasons will change
But their beauty won’t change.

The days will change
But the sun and moon won’t change.

Just like the color of the pretty sky and snow
Our love will never ever change.
