A Phoenix Hymn...
Sometimes life takes a valiant turn,
A turn that compels you to change,
A change is desirable but not always
Still it is important for the disciplined display of immense maturity,
The disciple works and awaits in the hermitage,
But rather than cosmic nirvana its like being in a free go jail,
Its really pathetic when your presence is presumed
It hurts more when you can't convey it to them,
Sometimes it feels who cares,
Holy truth,
What rubbish,
Confused,
Depressed,
What is the bloody fact.
Let me break the shackles of burden tied my back,
Let me show them even I am the man with spine,
Could have been my mistake, I nurtured my ego,
But not always...
I refuse to take insults which once I swallowed,
But few continue to do what I dislike,
I grew and attacked them with the oath of my blood,
Tired of being a underplayer,

Butterfly, The Creature of Change and Survival
I grow,
I struggle,
I am not nurtured,
Nor cared for,
I learn the harsh lessons,
Of Life,
Alone.

Looking through my window shade, stare at streets that bare no name
Now it all looks strange to me, yesterday seems like a dream
But I often try too hard, to break the routine of my day
Turn around see what I see, cant help wishing it could

Tomorrow is not another day
If tomorrow never comes
What would you do today
That you didn't do yesterday?
Would you talk to your neighbours?
Smile and say ‘hello' to passing strangers?
Give blood so someone will live and not die?
Cook something special like a plum and apple pie?
Say a prayer hoping someone would listen?
Clean the windows until they glisten?
My answer would be no - why?
If I knew life were to end and that was the world's fate
There would be no reason to either love or hate
Instead I would look at myself from within
And try to search feelings of those without sin
Leave my windows open to let the sun and air pass through
Look up at the sky and say ‘wonderful, it's beautiful'
Try not to worry that the end is nigh
So I've answered my question of ‘why'.
Why? Because we're all living the same dream
Pretending life is better - or so it would seem
Life is complicated without answer as to why we're here
Seldom do we wonder and even less shed a tear
For ‘life is for living' we frequently hear our friends say
Instead our lives are the same day after day
But to bring change and head in a different direction
May be is the only solution to our salvation
So, unless we see beyond the reaches of our mind
And break free from religious shackles that bind
We must, in order to save the world, sacrifice our triumphant stand
For if not, Mother Earth will turn into a deserted wasteland
Unable to calm the waters that threaten our shores
Along with earthquakes, hurricanes and storms galore.
Soothsayers may well cry ‘We're all doomed, the day has come'
As life has no real purpose, a product of light from our sun
Therefore we cannot change the fate which we have moulded
Which will cause apocalyptic events soon to be unfolded
Though everything we see and do is important - for me it's you.
Struck, it would seem, by cupid's arrow passing through.
So no matter what troubles may lie ahead
These powerful emotions are not just in my head
For they are ready to explode from somewhere within
And released from the heart in a manner not forgiving
To erupt in a bewilderment of colour
Before what's left is darkness and no other.
Slowly the world will turn to light and life reborn
That will embrace the slow rising of a new dawn
Appreciate and respect its presence here on earth
Try to understand and acknowledge the cycle of rebirth
For infinitesimally small a link are we in the long cosmic chain
Eternal as it may be, we are not. The End.

Have You Changed?
Jesus Christ came to die upon a cross to Glorify His Father's name,
His strong desire to follow His Father's will truly never changed.
Once we are covered by His Blood, we should never be the same,
But many who profess to be Christians today never truly changed.
Unlike Christ, The Spotless Lamb, who always remained the same.
Sinners like you and I who come to Christ must experience a change.
Those of us, who choose not to change, but want to remain the same,
Do not Glorify The Father in Heaven, but fill the church with shame.
But if you're truly a Christian in whom The Holy Spirit does reside,
He will make a definite change one can see from your heart inside.
The Holy Sprit is the person in The Trinity, in whom Christ relied,
To make a change in Believers that can not and will not be denied.
So if you believe you can profess His Name and from the world hide,
Your profession is vein and empty and by Christ you will be denied.
There is no denying the fact that once you believe you shall change,
For even Peter, who denied The Lord, later became filled with shame.
But, after Peter was filled with The Spirit, he never was the same,
And when demanded to stop, he continued preaching about his change.
One reason many unbelievers today refuse to believe and also change,
May be that many who profess to believe continue to remain the same.
