The Source Of Salinity
Let the salt in our sweat,
maintain the salinity
of oceans and seas,
Not again the salt in our tears!

Let us...
Not the hollow wood to be drifted away aimlessly,
Not the Iron pillar to stay at a place dutifully,
Not the rainbow that was born through droplets colorfully,
we are the human to explore the world courageously.
The yarn of spider may look thin and fragile,
but more tensile and stronger than steel.
The thought of human may be restless and weak,
but more useful when it is put into task.
We are not rotten wood to drift away swiftly,
we are the well built boat to sail through the storm gently.
We are not the scuff holdings to obey silently,
We are the smart human to think rationally.
Let the salt in our sweat,
maintain the salinity
of oceans and seas,
Not again our tears!

Ode to Salt
This salt
in the salt cellar
I once saw in the salt mines.
I know
you won't
believe me
but
it sings
salt sings, the skin
of the salt mines
sings
with a mouth smothered
by the earth.
I shivered in those
solitudes
when I heard
the voice
of
the salt
in the desert.
Near Antofagasta
the nitrous
pampa
resounds:
a
broken
v oice,
a mournful
song.
In its caves
the salt moans, mountain
of buried light,
translucent cathedral,
crystal of the sea, oblivion
of the waves.
And then on every table
in the world,
salt,
we see your piquant
powder
sprinkling
vital light
upon
our food.
Preserver
of the ancient
holds of ships,
discoverer
on
the high seas,
earliest
sailor
of the unknown, shifting
byways of the foam.
Dust of the sea, in you
the tongue receives a kiss
from ocean night:
taste imparts to every seasoned
dish your ocean essence;
the smallest,
miniature
wave from the saltcellar
reveals to us
more than domestic whiteness;
in it, we taste finitude.

Evergreen State
'No, little Johnny, raindrops are really just
the tears of sweet angels, who cry. Cry
because of sins that people commit,
and that is why, my smart and curious boy,
we get rain so often in Washington State'.
'Oh, so we have a lot of sinners here, then
and that is why it is called the Evergreen State? '
'Well, yes. I have lived here all my life,
all my friends live here and, as to being sinners,
I think it is more because of the tears, salty they are,
they bring down moisture and salt, my boy,
that, in the end, creates the salt of the earth,
and your grandpa is part of that. No sinner.
So, when the angels cry, you can watch the grass grow.'
'But grandpa, that means the more I sin the greener
and faster the grass grows, that feeds our cows,
makes more milk, steaks for the BBQ and, of course,
more salt of the earth. Right, old man, or not? '
'Smart boy you are, if I do say so myself. Smart.
So, how are you doing in school, behaving yourself? '
'Salt of the earth, grandpa, salt of the earth.'

The Salt In My Tears
Ive tried and Ive tried for so long to please you
Gave you every bit of my time
Gave you everything I could possibly give you
My body, my heart, and my mind
I turned my family and good friends against me
Listened to my own heart break
And I did it all in the name of love
Gave up myself for your sake
And you never cared about me
You only hurt and deceive
I realize after all of these years
That you aint worth the salt in my tears
Youve cheated, youve lied and youve hurt me
Over and over again
You promised to love me forever
But forever reached a bitter sweet end
Been blinded by love to your actions
But at last I can see my way clear
Ive cried and Ive tried, and Ive tried and Ive cried
But you, youve never shed one tear
cause you never cared about me
You only hurt and deceive
I realize after all of these years
That you aint worth the salt in my tears
You aint worth, you aint worth the salt in my tears
Treated like dirt, Im hurt, I aint hangin round here
Youve left me crying, left me crying for years
But you aint worth the salt in my tears
You never cared about me
You only hurt and decieve
I realize after all of these years
That you aint worth the salt in my tears
No you aint worth the salt in my tears

A dreamer's Peninsula
I dreamed on and off few days ago
A passing cloud, honey and salt
Bees and Oceans,
And it seemed to be a fine combination.
My beloved grumbled 'Anyway, it's an omen dear; Who knows whether it's good or bad? '
'Yes darling, there is no any doubt that the passing cloud denotes my dark floating mind,
Bees give honey and oceans provide unlimited salt, isn't it?
But who brings us the evaporating happiness to our desperate shrinking hearts? '
* To my dearest pet-son 'Marco', Your pen-pusher father says so sorry as you skipped lot of scanty meals and suffered with us in your shaky kennel during our hard times.

The sea which is not alive!
You stay at the lowest part of her,
Where you are saturated satisfyingly,
The salinity differs from the top to the bottom,
Where you let us to float when try to swim.
Concoction made of salts of various elements,
Decoction of solutions with variant grades,
Bored of having the life in all parts,
She has made you very dense to be infertile.
No plants and animals thrive to have fun with,
the hermit wants to go up to meditate,
the person with high salt level feel the pressure,
but you have both, the high pressure due to salt or depth.
Pebbles cemented with halite and evaporated minerals,
Surrounded by three nations and two of which are arch rivals,
Are you cursed not to have living things flourish in you?
Are you blessed with not having
the notoriety of things that are alive?

Salt
Early this morning
his mother asked his father
for some money
to buy salt.
But,
his father refused
and hit his mother
who did so much talking.
The boy
went out the house
and headed
to the market.
There,
he begged the salt vendors
for a little salt
but the vendors only told him,
'go home boy, and get some money! '
Now the boy
is running
with a bag of salt in his arms
and the people are screaming
THIEF! THIEF! THIEF!

Jerry the Slug
Hello Jerry
So verry Merry
I poor salt on your face
Whats that? Your screaming?
You cant run, I nailed your eyes to the floor
Flee my little mollusk
Here comes the salt!
The evil evil evil evil salt!
It will burn your impurites and slugness
Like you LOVES IT!
just like your mom

The Wedge
Were bobbing on the surface
And the shadow glides below
They say she feels my heartbeat
Oh..but how Ill never know
That its the ocean flowing in our veins
Oh..that its the salt thats in our tears
Oh..cause we could have come so very far
Oh..in at least as many years!
Take the highway through the great divide (x2)
Im building you a pyramid
With limestone blocks so large
I drag them from the mountain top
Youll need a two car garage
And its the ocean flowing in our veins
Oh..that its the salt thats in our tears
Oh..cause we could have come so very far
Oh..in at least as many years
Take the highway through the great divide x2
Cause its the ocean flowing in our veins
Oh..that its the salt thats in our tears
Oh..cause we could have come so very far
Oh..in at least as many years
Take the highway through the great divide

And the way the kids talk so cool

Theres a park near the city, yeah
All the kids dig the lagoon now

A World Of Love
I was so lonely before you my love.
I had forty years of loneliness drowning my soul.
Forty years of loneliness from tears never cried.
Tears collected from forty years of bitter salt life.
Tears uncried formed an ocean of bitter salt tears.
Bitter salt tears can drown or pickle a weaker soul.
I have waited for you for forty years my love.
The first miracle was the miracle of my first meeting you.
When angels stood among us; during the miracle; of dancing with you.
Since then I have beheld; an incredible transformation; miracle my love.
Since then you have turned; tsunami divided an ocean; of bitter salt tears.
Transfiguration brine sea; into the sweetest of chilled; summer red wine.
Through the miracle of love; the world will be drunk; on spiritual love.
Who would have ever thought; that a flood of love; would come to rein.
A second flood that would save; wash clean an entire world.
A flood of love that would wash; clean all sins of earth world.
Washed clean slowly over gospel time; suddenly as waters of life
gather turn barren wastes; parched deserts into fertile lands of love.

The Salt Of The Earth
what are we
without the salt
we seem not to
understand
we were asking
what are we
when the sweetness
is gone
is it really the salt
that really matters
or is it the bitterness
that wakes us up
and lets us know
what this life is all
about

Salt
Alive you are removed, what sees just to lurk - The way to obey, never to the dark - Skinned is my teeth, bit to the grit, grid to the byte - Whatever you say, princess - Whatever you want, princess of the damned - Argue with the ocean, win only you can - Waves which breaks, do so on the shore - Not inside your mind or soul - Never the talk, never to your back - Salt on your food, salt to your back - Salt by the steps to your door, prevents demons from the attack.
