Stand at ease!
When the storm of doubts, ill will and fate,
Blow harder than ever for me to get uproot,
Let me stay still or be flexible to the tunes at least,
Not to lose my griping integrity from the soil not to exit,
As the optimist, who see the flowers more than the thorns,
Metaphorical angel looks for the pure hearts more than the sinful,
I seek The available opportunities more than the inadequacies,
The unseen coins spread on the soil more than the printed currencies,
The love that tries to overflow from the deeds more than the words,
The helping hands that extend to wipe the tears more than the stones,
Let us not have the illusion with the delusion that storm will hurt,
It is just testing our will, how long and strong we stand at ease.

Angel
girl it's been so long
since i held you in my arms
so i picked up pen and paper
and decided to write you a song
things just ain't the same
since you took your love away
all i have is dark and lonely days
cause the sun don't shine my way
wish that i could find the words to say
to show you love is real
the words just can't express the way i feel
[chorus]
you're my angel
my sun up in the sky
we've been through hell and back together
why you wanna leave me now
only you can ease the pain i feel
and wipe my tears away
won't you fly back home and make me whole again
baby not a day goes bye
that i don't want to cry
when i think of what we had
how you walked out of my life
all i had was yours to take
till my heart you chose to break
still wish that i could make love to you
just one more time for old times sake
if only i could find the words to say
to show you love is real
the words just can't express the way i feel
[chorus]
you're my angel
my sun up in the sky
we've been through hell and back together
why you wanna leave me now
only you can ease the pain i feel
and wipe my tears away
won't you fly back home and make me feel whole again
come back home
come back home
cause without you here beside me
my house is not a home
only you can ease the pain i feel
and wipe my tears away
won't you fly back home and make me whole again
you're my angel
my sun up in the sky
we've been through hell and back together
why you wanna leave me now
only you can ease the pain i feel
and wipe my tears away
won't you fly back home and make me whole again
you're my angel
my sun up in the sky
we've been through hell and back together
why you wanna leave me now
only you can ease the pain i feel
and wipe my tears away
you've been gone too long so won't you come back home

GOD gave you an ANGEL today!
GOD gave you an ANGEL today! so wipe your tears away.
When GOD asked her 'are you ready today' maybe she wanted to stay.
Where she is, there's PIECE and LOVE and HAPPINESS everyday.
Where you are, there's PAIN and WAR and HURT in everyway.
Understand that your little Angel had a better plan.
So, when your cry shall turn to weep,
your little Angel will help you sleep.
And, when you find you're in the dark,
your little Angel will light your walk.
Now, when you're troubled, distressed and worried,
your little Angel will come in a hurry.
GOD gave you an ANGEL today so wipe your tears AWAY...

There Will Be No Words So Accurate Perhaps...
my wish is to simply tell you
what i was, am
and can possibly be,
i do not wish that you extend your hand to me and take me to your place
i am here
and that is the only fact that i am
i can manage myself
just like everyone else
i do not know about helping hands
i have mine somehow
my wish is simple enough
to find the words to give you the picture
of what we are
who we were, where can we be
and what shall we be,
the words have not been well enough
they are shorter and inaccurate for
the size of our dreams
i still wish to find the words
and i am getting older
and older
sooner shall i realize perhaps that
there are no such words,
that what we are
are but dreams and aspirations
and that there are
and there will be no words
exact for all these
when we die, they will bury us, and then they will give us
the perfect sigh
and if you take a closer look, they speak through the
flowers and the stones
their tears and their hands
and then
finally on the marks of their footsteps
away from us....

A Storm Is A Storm
Everyday we seek shelter
from an approaching storm.
Whether it comes naturally
or is a homemade one.
A storm is a storm
and its turbulence is always felt.
Where it be rain, snow, flood,
hurricane or tornado,
or someone playing mind games
to try to hurt us in someway.
A storm is a storm.

Never Say Die
Lyin next to you in the dark
I can feel your beating heart
Youve been here beside me through the test of time
Weve both had our share of doubts
Waited out those ole storm clouds
Boy its nights like this that I know why
Lovers like you and me will never say die
Chorus:
cause theres a long line of folks giving up on love
So many hearts get broken in the push and shove
Ill believe in you for the rest of my life
Baby lovers like you and me will never say die
Tears of joy and tears of pain
Tears say more than words explain
Theres no need for words here tonight
Weve both felt each others power
A tender touch in the wee small hours
Is strong enough to hold us for a lifetime
Lovers like you and me will never say die
Repeat chorus
Oh lovers like you and me will never say die

A'Maze'ing
Your pain is His pleasure
For the storm has a clearing
And He will begin
Once your end is nearing
He does His work best
When there’s nothing to lose
And your will is all gone
So it’s His will you’ll use
When it’s time to let go
Then you have to hang on
To your faith in the Lord
And not the things that are gone
Even peace has a price
But it has already been paid
When the son of man came
The groundwork was laid
Keep your eyes on His suffering
Then your heart will know His love
Not the kind you seek here
But the kind from above
He gave his life here for all of us
Even those you despise
So let go of your grudges
If you want to rise
It’s like life is a maze
And the walls are too high
But God knows the quick exit
He sees the maze from the sky
He just wants to guide you
When you hit the maze wall
Because the healing is greater
The harder you fall
So when your storm is raging
Know that God’s got your hand
For one day it will clear
And you’ll see His big plan

Only You
I was waiting for so long
For a miracle to come
You told me to be strong
But you never knew
I was lost in that storm
Only could wash away
All the pain of yesterday
And wipe all those tears
Erase so many fears
Only you could change me all
Stand by me, as I fall
So I will crash this wall
Between you and me

Son Of The Soil
Black, strong tatooed by the sun.
He toils and never tires.
He is the son of the soil.
Forget all these fake wana be's! You see today
wanting to be everything they see on tv.
he is the Son of the soil, raised up in the language of the ancetrals.
Taught to hunter and respect the traditions.
Raised up in the secret sacred things of the land.
Spilt his blood in the soil at the riverside at the age of 13.
He knew where his destiny lay at the age of 16.
Had his first encounter at 18.
She was a true daughter of the soil breed well by the women of the land.
Son of the soil taught by the elders the ways of women.
Son of the soil, taught by nature the way to survive.
Son of the soil, taught to endure by the woman he shares his purity with.
Son of the soil,
arise and toil for your destiny calls.
Toil to protect the weak,
to safeguard the rites,
to up root all menace and vallians from the west.
Son of the soil its your time to stand and be heard.

There Is No Such Power
there is no such power
that will exist
for a lifetime
there is none of that
kind
for everything is just like
the wind
it comes and if it is so strong
and powerful
that some trees are carried
away
like the hurricane scare
yet it will just be
like everything else so
temporary
it goes away
and what remains are us
still strong
with our feet rooted to
the grounds
of our own
integrity and morality
we are strong
because our hands are clean
because our hearts are pure
because we are the
the well shaped stones
and not the
corrugated grafts
of the
corrupted culture

Helping Hands
You gotta believe we can change the world
Don't turn a blind eye to tomorrow's world
But on the good side looking out
Don't take for granted the silent shout
The hands of time are rolling past
To turn the tide, we must move fast
Let's share the hope and pull some strings
We hold the answer this vision sings
They're holding on
But for how long
Let's set them free
Put your helping hands together rockin' on for survival
Gotta take a stand, time to make a plan, don't sit idle
We are the key to the dreams
It's not as hard as it seems
No
Get up and put your hands together
All your helping hands
Oh yeah
We're three steps down, you're two steps back
No more widgin' and that's a fact
A call to arms, let's take a stand
It's up to you to lend a helping hand
They're holding on
But for how long
Let's set them free
Put your helping hands together rockin' on for survival
Gotta take a stand, time to make a plan, don't sit idle
We are the key to the dreams
It's not as hard as it seems
No
Get up and put your hands together
All your helping hands, yeah
We're the thunder in the storm
That brings the winds of change
Together we can overcome
And start a brand new day
Put your helping hands together rockin' on for survival (Yeah yeah)
Gotta take a stand, it's time to make a plan, don't sit idle (No, no, no, no)
Put your helping hands together rockin' on for survival
Gotta take a stand, c'mon make a plan, don't sit idle (Oh!)

Winter Tree
The winter tree
does not move.
Its wide trunk
plunges into graven earth,
unseen roots, grasping hands
feel deeply the living soil,
hold firm anchorage
against the coming storm,
but rising wood, thin
though strong enough
to paint slender lines,
trails into purer air,
gives shelter
to Christmas birds.
They hunch on stems, quietly
waiting to sing open
the dawn.

Drywood
Youve got to learn, to brighten up your ways
Kick out your dull padded life
Theres much to know, and no doors in space
They were only mirrors you imagined in your mind
Now that youve got no place to go
And you stand alone
Know that theres just one place to be
And its in your soul, oh
Like drywood takes to fire the truth will come to you
Like streams that seek the ocean they will find ways through
Like morning meets the moon, my love will guide the way
Its time to wipe your eyes not, and awake
Ive come to take you over, theres much for you to do
Ive come to take you over, then its up to you
Be like the light, in the shadows
Throw down your mask and be real
Dont wish to win, and dont mind to lose
That was just a cycle like a squirrel in a wheel
Now that youve got no place to look
And you stand alone
Know thats theres just one place to be
And it is your home, oh
Like fish that seek the water, the truth will come to you
Like leaves upon the soil, they will find ways through
Like flowers seek the sun, my love will guide the way
Its time to wipe your eyes now, and awake.
You say youre really with me but you only follow me around
How much you love me yes,
But I dont want the kind of love
I have to sit down and count
You think youre free and lucky but youre stuck behind a prison wall
How well you know yourself
But I see something else within you
That you dont see at all
You may give up your number, disowning all your wealth
You may sell all the pieces, but youll
Never never never give up
Yourself, oh no no no.
Like drywood takes to fire the truth will come to you
Like streams that seek the ocean they will find ways through
Like morning meets the nights stars, my love will guide the way
Its time to wipe your eyes not, and awake
Ive come to take you over, theres much for you to do
Ive come to take you over, then its up to you.

The Soil's Tears
The soil knows the burden of tears
The earth’s sadness that it bears
Through endless battles for territory -
Only the soil knows it has no boundary!
Blood spills on it, falls toil’s sweat,
Muscle’s ravage decides the weak’s fate
Cries of desperation and victory’s cheers
All these the soil tearfully bears!

Black cloud in a storm
Black cloud in a storm
I fell lkie a black cloud in a storm.
But stuck in the storm I am.
So depressed so sad.
Hurt angry and alone.
Death now will be the end of me.
I cant live another day.
Another day in the storm.
I want to go to sleep
And not wake up again.
So so very tired.
I'll always be in the storm.
For as long as my heart beats.
When my heart stops beating.
I'll be out of the storm.
And once again free

Blooming Love Tree
Our roots are deeply anchored
in the unmovable love's soil,
We grew together, and the blizzards of life could not destroy our embrace,
The sharp frost could not freeze our tears,
and the deep, rough, hateful cuts could not take away our smiles.
Whispers of love feed our branches and leaves,
and we drink daily from the sap of endless passion.
Sun breathes on our one-trunk,
warmth and light,
Under its caressing, we dance a silent old tango,
forgetting all the past seasons,
keeping only the good memories and dreaming of the new Spring.
We extend our branches as hands in prayers toward heaven,
We touch angels' wings each night and sing,
with the stars, a song of gratitude.
We bloom heart-shaped love red flowers because
our roots are deeply anchored in the unmovable love's soil.

Present strength hidden sorrow
I stand tall as all the misery around me floats
The words when i first heard of the sadness in my life
But i do not budge for i am strong
I walk past all who offer me a kind word to help ease my soul
I decline for I let my strength shine through
Acceptance within my heart I say i am all right
Everyone watches as i walk past and comment on my strength
Some fear that i have no feelings others envy for they hurt so much
I walk through the door of my bedroom and shut it behind me
I fall to my knees and catch myself with my hands as the tears stain the floor
My strength is gone and now my sorrrow envelopes me
My sight is blurred as the pure rain falls from my cheeks
I can not breathe as I realize what happened
After some time i wipe my eyes dry and walk back out with my strength for all to see

A Sower Went out to Sow
It sprang up at once because the soil was not deep,
and when the sun rose it was scorched, and it withered for lack of roots.
Some seed fell among thorns, and the thorns grew up and choked it.
But some seed fell on rich soil, and produced fruit, a hundred or sixty or thirtyfold.'
for the Lord speaks
in parables
in the same manner that
we
who try to become poets
shall too
speak in
metaphors
sometimes
to please you
i shall only
speak
those words that
you want to hear
and not the
truth
thereof

The Gnat
A long-legged gnat with airy wings, a dart
Sharp as a needle and a searching tusk,
Was flutt'ring round my lamp, clung to my bookshelf,
And wandered over papers. Then I blew
On it, to chase it far away. But no,
Beneath the tempest of my breath it clung
Still faster to the paper's slender shelter
And moved not, till I thought my breath had killed it.
We watched each other; then it flew away.
I thought how Fate and we thus ofttimes watch
Each other, till Fate blow us into atoms,
And we remain in some weak place, in Death's
Suspense, not knowing if again the storm
Will blow. But Fate is careless and will let
Us go, if but the wings that are to take
Us hence are still untorn, unsinged, uncrushed;
Or else we creep along and die unseen,
A wingless worm, not understanding what
Those papers and those shelves contain that are
No revelation, nought but a grave, whilst others
Suck life and food, from where the storm of Fate
Hath torn us, unresisting, meaningless,
And watching with an instant's careless glance,
If we are really dead, or still may fly.
Cheat cruel Fate, keep still like Death, move not,
Flutter not; then unfold thy wings, and go
Thy way, the coming morn is full of life,
Bury thy head in flowers, in the dew,
The sun is rising and thou art alive!

Sonnet: The Human Soul
Unseen, the soul of a man lies within,
Like the mighty hands that created him;
The Maker expecting it back sans sins,
Had filled the human skull with brain to brim.
On returning, the Soul’s state must be pure,
Or else, it shall not enter Heaven’s gate;
Its venial sins Purgatory will cure;
But mortal sins get it the Hellish fate.
So, lose your limb or eye if cause of sin;
To the lame or blind, God would give Heaven;
The sinful body, leads thee to hell’s door;
And wholesome yet, to the Inferno’s core.
Taint not by thyself with sinful ways/ misdeeds;
Grown not in the soul, saplings of sinful weeds.
