Know?
When looking through the dark, tinge of light,
When looking through the light, tinge of dark,
When piercing through the heart, tinge of hurt,
When brain storming session, tinge of intelligence,
Those who writes a riddle, should know the answer,
Those who do the research, should know the hypothesis,
Those who work in the restaurant, should know to serve,
Those who represent the people, should know the misery,

A Tinge Of Sadness
There is always a tinge of sadness
when something comes to an end
whatever that may be.
An affair that has ended
leaves a void in your life
as two hearts depart.
The end of a novel
and the characters you’ve loved
drift off into the sunset of their lives.
A holiday that has brought pleasure,
now an end to a relaxing time.
Each end with a tinge of sadness
because they will never come again.
At least never in the same way
no matter what you do.

You, the Dark
Dark, She is the mind of yours.
Icy chill of thought becomes
A steely shimmer.
Behold a glimmer in the black -
A flash of grey, that even glows
In show against the hallowed dark of you.
And that is why you scream in jarring tones
'I have no heart for joy!
My white and brittle bones have died'
You cried in dark and fractured moans.
So now the Queen of Black you writhe,
Whence from dark of shade
That honed an evil form afar;
In curse of me you bade:
'I, the wave shall rape the shore!
Violence will there be in glares I'll throw
At all who prey, and more:
A dark and fetid sea I'll bleed.'
And now, the bitter tinge
And bleak of waste
That eyed the death of once your soul
Will here forever be!
Indeed you tell:
'The cramping pain is here!
Eternal spasm, infinite chasm,
The Devil's chaplain plays!
We'll climax in a tortured glee
As all my love decays.'

Lend Me The Light
Lend me the light,
From your soul;
Lend me the celestial
Spark, to get into the
Heaven's heart.
Bask me under the
Heavenly glow of
Love, to learn the
Lesson of Humanity.
Let me be a prism
To separate that
Light into spectrum
Of colors to tinge,
The faded souls
Help them back to
The brighter life!

twas The Twilight
'twas the twilight
that we hate during
those moments
of our secret tryst
beneath the trees
when darkness and
light fuse and
then dismember
it is the departure
that begins to put
the tinge of pain
the bitterness of having
to say
when.

An ode to Russ Ligtas’ butoh performance -He[sit]ation
You came in you came and you came when all senses faint as your name yes your name is all there is to it as it goes as it went through unseen doors of histories of which are painted on walls that captivate you with all you do and what you’ve been through as you cringe and you escape a silent scream as a tinge of reminisce lighted your dark memories of where you sit of where you spit your st[r]ing of wordless narrative.

You Are A RainbowToo
Its cloudy all over, and heaven's all grey
The sun, has lost all its warmth and rays
But halt!
did you see something?
A Rainbow up there!
bridging the gap between Hope and Despair!
Braving the Greys, all by itself!
And promising light back in air..
When its dark and gloomy, fending for yourself,
all alone are you....
Dont despair...........,
Remember YOU ARE A RAINBOW TOO! !
For you too have all those hues within.
a dash of fortitude, a tinge of faith inbetween
With your pack of shades, you too can conquer the realms you invade
Its time you go out and face the dark,
with true spirits of a Rainbow,
And its a promise that you can hark.....
The Clouds bidding Adieu for sure.........! !

How Full of God
How full of God those evening skies,
Arrayed in calmest loveliness;
But ah! To think how many eyes
Are wet with weeping none the less.
Nay, hearts are aching, eyes are wet
The more that they so richly glow,
Since in the past some glory set,
To leave them in the dark of woe.
To leave them dark, and such a tinge
O’er every aftersunset throw,
That it should only seem to fringe
The pall of a dead long ago.
Ah well-a-day! But so it is,
Pale sorrow groaneth everywhere,
And pain and loss we cannot miss;
To think is almost to despair.

Creed
I believe in my heart that when
The wounded heart sunk within the depth of God sings
It rises from the pond alive
As if new-born.
I believe in my heart that what I wring from myself
To tinge life’s canvas
With red of pallid hue, thus cloaking it
In luminous garb.

Backyard Nukes
The air is dark with ash and smoke,
the cities filled with mutant folk.
The crops grow bent with a bluish tinge,
when an ant is seen the children cringe.
'And what, ' you ask. 'Has happened here,
'to a world once filled with so much cheer? '
The answer, friend, is not so great,
The world is lost to a terrible fate
You see a warning was once ignored
by a little genius who was just too bored.
He built a thing from junkyard parts
then blew it up to make some charts.
He did it again to fill in the rest,
and topped it off with a third nuke test.
Then one last time with no rebukes,
he changed the world with his backyard nukes.

Envoi
Fly, white butterflies, out to sea,
Frail pale wings for the winds to try,
Small white wings that we scarce can see
Fly.
Here and there may a chance-caught eye
Note in a score of you twain or three
Brighter or darker of tinge or dye.
Some fly light as a laugh of glee,
Some fly soft as a low long sigh:
All to the haven where each would be
Fly.

Jealous Moon
Increasingly, she troubles me
I'm seeing her lately as light blue
In an auto-suggestive state
Sometimes with a tinge of red
A Queen's Guard helmet on her head
And I can't keep track at all
Of the hours of her rising
Her weeks of wax and wane
Sure, you'd assume
That a man on a planet with just one moon
Would be capable of following her plane.
Yes, she troubles me
Even when she shines on me
Makes me feel like an alien
Misplaced in the city, sensing at best
That I'm not where I was born to be.
The moon can be dangerous, too
She can snare you with a tide
And pull you under, reach down low
Breaking up your wedding vows
As you slowly sink and drown
In dark pools of reflecting eyes
Not even wise
To try to write a poem about the moon
Her smile is concealing bad intent
And she’s jealous of her font of light
Just waiting for something to condemn
In the affairs of boys and men.

I Have No Use For Odic Legions
I have no use for odic legions,
Or for the charm of elegiac play
For me, all verse should be off kilter
Not the usual way.
If only you knew what trash gives rise
To verse, without a tinge of shame,
Like bright dandelions by a fence,
Like burdock and like cocklebur.
An angry shout, the bracing smell of tar,
Mysterious mildew on the wall…
And out comes a poem, light-hearted, tender,
To your delight and mine.

Braggadociosis
Just a tad above self confident...
With a tinge of arrogance.
Maybe with a smidgen of ego.
And a wee bit of vanity.
Not much!
Just a wee bit.
I too can suffer from braggadociosis.
But 'never' am I consciously...
Overtly obnoxious.
Naw...
Never!
I'm too humble, warm and loving,
To display any of that.
Just ask me!
I can be objective.
Especially...
When the topic is,
Me.

Sunset On The Beach
The sun was setting with all its power and glory
on the horizon behind the sea as I stood there
on the sand which lay along the water's edge.
The clouds in the sky had the effect of evolving translucent light
yet as the sun sank further down into the sea
this light was changing to a sombre silver-grey.
Darkness was descending upon me where I stood
yet in the far horizon before me daylight was
making its impact once again on the earth.
It was getting chilly and darker and a slight breeze
was beginning to arouse the waters of a once calm sea.
The tide was going out and I could feel the moisture
from underneath my feet being taken away.
The sun was drawing away the very waters of the sea before me it seemed and everything was beginning to have a haunted aspect,
for without light all seemed to attain a gloomy and ghostly atmosphere.
The sun was now but a tinge of orange
giving off its last rays of light being swallowed by the sea.
What a splendid sight it was I thought seeing something alive
and wondrous making its last impact with beauty and significance before vanishing temporarily and rising again on the opposite to where it set.
It seemed to suggest that where there is light there is life
and where there is no light life would be unbearable and dark.
Dusk had come and night was here so I thought that I had better depart
in order to live and enjoy the sight just seen at some other date.

July heat
it enters right through
the middle of my armpits and keeps the thick hair
confused to the introductory giggle
and then it keeps on staying
on a perspiring state
rushing through the shoulder
blade and keeps the tinge on
the esophagus
this slimy feeling and yet so
delicious to the palate until
it slides direct to the
cozy chamber of
my heart
