A Secret To Prosperity!

Wandering clouds not so focused,
For where to rain, it not yet decided,
Running from country to country,
Gathering the seeds that can spray,
People look up for rain, but no clouds,
Bright yellow sun and the blue sky,
The tears of rain in their deepened eyes,
The shopping clouds look down at them,
Clumsy they are and hunger rules them,
The proud clouds with the bounty of water,
Hate these poor people and move quicker,
And there are green mountains with flowers,
The running clouds stop all of a sudden,
For it amazed by the swelling of that woman,
Just start to clear what it stores for many hours,
Heavy rain on the mountain and the river sisters,
Flow down to the civilization, the rich people,
All around, as they know how to save water,
People who are ignorant of importance of forest,
Fell the trees for quick money and luxury,
Those who already felled, know the misery,
The clouds in the sky, know this exactly,
The poor will remain poor, if not sorry,
And to replant the trees quickly.

My Sneaking Tears

How heavy fell the rain that day
From burdened clouds of mournful grey.
The torrent forced them stay their height -
Composure swayed by onerous might.

My skin wrung wet with icy chill
As mud embraced that sodden hill;
But mind of mine had elsewhere gone -
'Twas clouds abandoned I was on.

The driving drops advanced their gears
To camouflage my sneaking tears -
Whence now did swell such floods of pain
To see me melt into this rain…

On equal bearing now were we:
This rain, myself, in harmony.

Clouds

Clouds -
I watched as they ruptured,
ash black and pallid I saw mountainous clouds
split and spew rain
for two hours.
Everywhere water, plants and rainwater,
a riot of green on the earth.
My lover's gone off
to some foreign country,
sopping wet at our doorway
I watch the clouds rupture.
Mira says, nothing can harm him.
This passion has yet
to be slaked.

Rain Drops

Here comes the grey clouds
rolling in,
Spreading rain all over the
town.

Rain drops help to moisten
the earth's beautiful green
grass.

Sidewalks once dusty are
washed and cleaned.

Rivers and lakes are given
plenty more water.

Fishes swim around happy
beneath the rain drops,
creating millions of ripples
upon the water.

Flowers and plants no longer
Thirst,
Even trees and bushes seem
to dance after a good drink
of water,
Animals get their fill of
water too.

Just Like a shower,
Rain drops clean and
cleanse everything,
Leaving the earth refreshed
and renewed.

After the storm has passed,
The sun shines spreading its
warmth.

Rain drops that are left behind
on Flowers, plants, trees and
grass,
It is like heaven for many insects
to fill their thirsty little
mouths.

Without clouds we would have no
rain drops,
Without rain drops everything would
never be the same.

Editing Same Path

I HAVE walked upon this path
alone
and that was years ago
when i still cry
water the pebbles with tears
they do not grow
flowers
there are no trees there

One day
I come down from the clouds
since i am heavy with
rain in my
heart and decide to
walk back the path
of stones

I have seeds of clouds in my pocket
rainbow shoots in my hands

The path have since then
bloomed with dew
and vapors rise to the skies
in prayers

Trees grow and
bees pollinate
a new world is born
since then
and children come and play
their games
again

You & The Clouds Will Still Be Beautiful

And every morning before Im awake
I walk around the world to make sure shes alright
And every evening fore I bolt the door
I give the stars a stir to make sure they will spin all night
For I see people who will scratch and spit and kick and fight
And I see nations war about whether right is left and whether wrong is right
And I know storms inside your head can amplify the blight
But no matter what the weather, you and the clouds will still be beautiful
No matter what the weather, you and the clouds will still be beautiful
And every troy with wooden horse
I take to peaceful waters but cant make him drown
And every bastille that gets stormtroopered
Hail to the chief comes rainin, rainin, rainin, rainin down
And Ive seen people conduct lightning down to a summers day
And Ive seen nations playfully hurl snowballs packed with stones and clay
And I know rain inside your head can seriously put a stop to play
But no matter what the weather, you and the clouds will still be beautiful
No matter what the weather, you and the clouds will still be beautiful
So let it rain
And when we see flying saucers, flying cups, and flying plates
And as we trip down lovers lane we sometimes bump into the gate
And I know thunder in your head can still reverberate
But no matter what the weather, you and the clouds will still be beautiful
No matter what the weather, you and the clouds will still be beautiful
No matter what the weather
Yeah
So let it rain
So let it rain
You know you still be beautiful
So let it rain
It doesnt matter what the weather you know youre beautiful
Just let it rain
Youre just, youre beautiful
So let it rain
Yeah, since the clouds all part the clouds just rose
So let it rain
From your pretty little mouth to your pretty little nose youre beautiful
So let it rain
It doesnt matter if the rain wants to fail if the rain wants to fall
Just let it rain
So let it rain
So let it rain

Mere Spectator for JT Ellison

Clouds of gunmetal grey amass
above the distant mountains peaks.
Loudly the voice of thunder speaks.
But I fear not this too will pass.

I watch the lightning bolts which soar.
Long streaks of incandescent blue.
Which pierce the storm clouds through and through.
Though I have seen it all before.

I am held captive by the sight.
I cannot tear my eyes away
I have to watch the interplay
of storm clouds lashed by spears of light.

I know the storm clouds will release
their burden of much needed rain
and then the skies will clear again.
I am content I feel at peace.

The rainfall will refresh the streams.
And they in turn increase the flow
of rivers running deep and slow.
Towards the sea where in my dreams.

I see the sun evaporate
raise water vapour to the skies.
The winds which blow will dissipate
the clouds which slowly rise.

And start the cycle once again.
All part of nature’s perfect plan
to irrigate the world of man.
There is no loss there is no gain.

The rain falls on the mountain sides.
Restarts its journey to the sea
It can move slow or speedily.
The ancient cycle still abides.

It was before the birth of man
and will be when man is no more
My role that of a spectator.
I contemplate because I can

and realise I ‘m powerless.
of no real significance.
I do not rate a second glance.
I am not part of the process.

The water cycles constantly
The way it was designed to do
There is no reason to review
a system working perfectly.

Anticipation

I sleep in the morn.
I do not wish to rise.
I hear the rain
and I know the skies
are crying big raindrops
and the clouds are gray.
The approaching hours
will begin my day.

Oh how I need to see the sun
come out from the clouds
to burn my skin
and heat up this frame of mind I'm in.
I can't stay put in this tiresome bed.
Too many thoughts will destroy my head.
All I need is one word from you,
then the rain and clouds could not get through.

The July Sky

The sky is pouring all day long,
Water from it's pitch dark pot.
The trees, plants and shrubs so got
Relieved from that scorching hot.
Ah! they said to each other-
Rain is blessings, is not it?
How could one live, happily,
In such painful burning heat?
They all chat and smile and crackle.
Flowers let out sweet fragrance,
The faded greenness then chuckle-
As raindrops start their ballet dance.
We should take rest, can work no more-
The Nimbus clouds discuss with friends,
They labored hard throughout the day.
The lightning, mapping all clouds' ends,
Taking metal scale, he rubs on sky,
Announces-all clouds must take a row.
Whose tasks are left, they stay for now,
The white ones make queue, you can go.
Hearing these words, clouds do the same.
Drizzle starts and blows soothing breeze.
Clouds go back, ending their long game,
The earth, shakes hand with smiling trees

Heavy Cloud No Rain

Turned on the weather man just after the news
I needed sweet rain to wash away my blues
He looked at the chart but he look in vain
Heavy cloud but no rain
Back in time with louis xvi
At the court of the people he was number one
Hed be the bluest blood theyd ever seen
When the king said hi to the guillotine
The royal astrologer was run out of breath
He thought that maybe the rain would postpone his death
He look in sky but he look in vain
Heavy cloud but no rain
Well the land was cracking and the river was dry
All the crops were dying when they ought to be high
So to save his farm from the bankers draft
The farmer took out a book on some old witchcraft
He made a spell and a potion on a midsummers night
He killed a brindled calf in the pale moonlight
He prayed to the sky but he prayed in vain
Heavy cloud but no rain
Heavy cloud but no rain
The sun wont shine till the clouds are gone
The clouds wont go till their work is done
And every morning youll hear me pray
If only it would rain today
I asked my baby if thered be some way
She said shed save her love for a rainy day
I look in the sky but I look in vain
Heavy cloud but no rain

Rain Passes

Rain passes, washing the face of the mountain.

Clouds come, the mountain's in a dream.

Clouds and rain come and go as they please.

Only the mountain, forever green, remains.

Holy Blunder

Clouds in the skies; clouds in the skies; clouds, clouds
Clouds in the skies; some clustering; some cluttering
Some straying; some strewing; all in one yonder
Like free floating vices and flouted virtues

Amongst myriad murky Stygean stratus
One cumulus, shining bright and smiling white
Like a lucky rich man amongst fated poor
Leering, jeering, raving in sway and sashey

“My one misdirected beam made him gleam”
Bemused waning God Sun, “how this happened
Of one breed are all clouds; running in them same
Vapour-blood; façade is due to my light shed”

“Oh! Idiotic white clouds! This is not good!
Don’t swagger because of my one holy blunder
On the day apocalyptic winds wiggle
Every cloud has to melt down into drizzle”

Rain

Rain
~
The darkened rain clouds
they hold no fear for me
the rain which fall purifies
it feeds the plants and trees
washes the filth from the streets
cleans the air which we breathe
I hold a special place for it
as cold and bitter as it comes
however much it soaks the skin
the rain remains beautiful
a serenade against the window
a powerful image portrays
the true might of nature
the gathering clouds darken
birds fly away to dry nest
before the sky breaks open
and either by patter or a roar
the rain it comes to fall and fall
for all I see it purifies the soul

The lovely land

The sea is sky-blue and the sky, sea-blue.
The earth is coconut-brown and the coconut, earth brown.
The clouds are water-dark and the water, cloud-dark.
The paddy is grass-green and the grass, paddy-green.
The valleys are spice- rich and the spices, valley- rich.
The rivers are lagoon-seeking and the lagoons, river-seeking.
The rubber is wealth-prone and the wealth, rubber-prone.
The culture is art-borne and the arts, culture-borne.
The traditions are style made and the styles, tradition made.
The rich blur with the poor and the poor, with the rich.
Education sweeps like monsoon rain;
Hygiene shines like fountain water.
Pride surges like the Periyar in summer.
The people charm the land and the land, the people.
Men are woman friendly and women, men friendly.
The land is Kerala, lovely, lovely, lovely.

I Laugh

I laugh when i the clouds cry rain drops upon us,
the saddness they must feel.
If this world could only heal,
all the sins people steal.
There will be no forgiving,
for this finial day on thanksgiving.
The clouds are like a baby being born into this world.
They laugh, when they see the fear in there parents eyes,
alittle part of there sole dies.
For if that isnt enough,
the babies face was on fire.
For he saw for the first time,
the fake tears people made as the mother is taken by the clouds above us.
They say everything happens for a reason.
For that sight,
that baby will have to fight.
He must hang tight,
for that last tear the cloud brings is the turning point;
For that baby has taken the wrong path,
I laugh when i see that baby catch that last rain dropp in its bath.

After A Long Walk

after a long walk
you stop a while
sitting on a dead tree
under the clouds

the sky turns dark
the clouds heavy and black
the rain begins to fall
heavily on you

you do not run for cover
you look up to the sky
you open your mouth
drink the rain & accept everything

Poor Man's Rain

Some people call it poor man's rain
When pots and pans on nightly stairs
Sound drips and drops from roof leak strain

Some people call it poor man's rain
When duct taped cracks brace to withstand
The pounding flood on window panes

Some people call it poor man's rain
When coats and shoes are frayed and worn
And puddles morning sidewalks stain

Some people call it poor man's rain
When sheets of water wait for dark
A blessing that the night contains.

This Sky of Clouds

This sky is with clouds of grey and silver light,
Magical wonders are beheld with much to bring on as rain,
The songs in the clouds are weak and strong,
Their music is weak and strong, heavy with volume.
Guidance is gained by the extremely lucky,
Their stargazing is a precise science.
The clouds are giving rain and droplets of fire
That reign as kingly particles of some stain.
To be healthy with the doctor
Is all due to the rain, and its weird effects.

Rain (II)

It thundered as if it would rain;
Appeared sultry as if to feign;
The Sky was clear but blue-black now;
It looked as if the Rain would come!

The clouds were dense and moved slowly;
Lightning patterned the Sky fiercely;
The Wind was almost absent now;
It looked as if the Rain would come!

The Birds were quiet and nested;
Awaiting the downpour, they rested;
The Monsoon was active for now;
It looked as if the Rain would come!

A few droplets of Rain did fall;
Atop the heads of people on stroll;
Afraid, each hurried to his home;
It looked as if the Rain would come!

The Rain did come! The Rain did come!
For once rightly, the Rain did come!

The Rain Maker

Dull clouds shade the bright stars in the sky
Bring rain to fuel my desire.
Bring rain to feed the masses.
Bring rain to make the world green and lively
Then shoo the clouds away to begin a new day.

Created by the man above
To give life the world below
Supplied by Mother Nature
And Father Earth to provide life
So that man can exist, live, and work for a better future.

Man sows the land and seeds the dirt.
Flowers sprout, bountiful vegetables.
Powerful smells of the future so bright.
Love and nourishment for the masses
Become the Rain Maker.

It is His gift to man.
Rain shrouds the gray sky.
He makes the rain so we can live
To serve Him on the mortal lands.
He is the Rain Maker.
