A Forgetful Number
Once upon a time there was a number
Pure and round like the sun
But alone very much alone
It began to reckon with itself
It divided multiplied itself
It subtracted added itself
And remained always alone
It stopped reckoning with itself
And shut itself up in its round
And sunny purity
Outside were left the fiery
Traces of its reckoning
They began to chase each other through the dark
To divide when they should have multiplied themselves
To subtract when they should have added themselves
That's what happens in the dark
And there was no one to ask it
To stop the traces
And to rub them out.

Unprepared! ! ! !
its my nature
i was born like that
no one trace to guide
born without rule and compass
ready to life with faith on my genes
Thanks Dad! ! !
they dont give me
one single add account
just forgot i think so
but some subtract account
I dont like subtract nothing
i like to divide
take, here is my books
hear, this is my sounds
read it, and if you want, keep my words
i can construct all again, so take it all,
but unprepared I am
for one world so prepared! ! ! !
I am added, subtracted and divided.
But a immeasurable, unlimited
deep form to love you!
its enough? ? ? ? ?

What Is Needed Most Right Now
'That number multiplied by itself
Is no further than the previous number
Added to it!
5x5=25
6x6=36
Five plus six is eleven, right?
Add eleven onto 25 and you have 6x6!
Or subtract eleven from 36 and you will have 25! '
Why isn't mathematics taught that way?
In our schools?
'It would start an avalanche of thinkers...
And what is needed most right now,
Is a supply of more gullible people!
And 'that' we seem to be losing ground on.
That is becoming low in supply...
And ignorance spreads like wild fire!
Why?
We wonder.
WHO is subduing the process of thought?
They are 'not' doing a good job at that at all!
'Thinking Stinks'
And that is the message we want to send!
Critical thinking is not in demand.
We must create fresh beliefs
Before we lose the land! '
Good luck...
You lost me with this one!
Wake me up for recess!

Shut Up
You say,
I should do it differently.
I dont,
Necessarily agree.
Stand up!
Sit down!
Be nice!
Did ya hear me ask for your advice?
Dont bother,
Trying to tell me your beliefs.
Dont want to,
Know which way its good to be.
Do this!
Do that!
On track!
Do me a favor and dont talk back!
Round and round,
But the conversation always ends where it began.
Round and round,
And I need a vacation.
My god,
Ive had it from you!
Shut up!
Dont want to hear your voice.
Shut up!
Im sick of all the noise.
Theres nothing you can say to me,
So get away from me.
Shut up!
Blah blah, blah blah, blah blah, blah blah.
Thats what,
It sounds like you said to me.
You nag and you brag and I gag,
Theres so much beauty in what we have.
You must,
Have better things that you can do.
Or just,
Love all around me too.
What you want,
What I need.
Oh please!
I think you get off,
On hearing yourself speak.
Round and round,
But the conversation always ends where it began.
Round and round,
And I need a vacation.
My god,
Ive had it from you!
Shut up!
Dont want to hear your voice.
Shut up!
Im sick of all the noise.
Theres nothing you can say to me,
So get away from me.
Shut up!
Dont want to be polite.
Its messed up,
How you always think youre right.
Theres nothing you can say,
Thats gonna change the way I am.
Shut up!
Round and round,
But the conversation always ends where it began.
Round and round,
And I need a vacation.
My god,
Ive had it from you!
Shut up!
Dont want to hear your voice.
Shut up!
Im sick of all the noise.
Theres nothing you can say to me,
So get away from me.
Shut up!
Dont want to be polite.

Theres nothing you can say,
Thats gonna change the way I am.

Maths In The Park (For Marzena)
Park divided by ducks is standard
Dogs plus leads is dictatorship
Sun minus light is evening
Eyes multiplied by hair is laughter
Love minus pity is selfless
Affection multiplied by love is adoration
Hate minus passion is military
Devotion divided by sense is religion
The world divided by humanity is paradise.

Froggy Toes
I woke up in the middle of the night
at something that gave me a terrible fright
there at the bottom of my bed
were 10 strange things painted in red
and as my eyes adjusted so
they began to dance and put on a show
first they moved up and down
then began to spin round and round
frightened I pulled up my sheet
only to see that they were attached to my feet
As I began to slowly wake from my slumber
the 10 toes began to do their last number
and as I watched all in agog
I laughed when I saw they were joined by my frog.

Thats It For The Other One
The other day they waited, the sky was dark and faded,
Solemnly they stated, he has to die, you know he has to die.
All the children learnin, from books that they were burnin,
Every leaf was turnin; to watch him die, you know he had to die.
The summer sun looked down on him, his mother could but frown on him,
And all the others sound on him, but it doesnt seem to matter.
And when the day had ended, with rainbow colors blended,
His mind remained unbended, he had to die, you know he had to die.
Spanish lady comes to me, she lays on me this roes.
It rainbow spirals round and round it trembles and explodes.
It left a smoking crater of my mind I like to blow away.
But the heat came round and busted me for smiling on a cloudy day.
Comin, comin, comin around, comin, around,
Comin, around, in a circle
Comin, comin, comin around, comin around, in a circle,
Comin, comin, comin around, comin in a circle.
Skippin through the lily fields I came across an empty space,
It trembled and exploded, left a bus stop in its place.
The bus came by and I got on, thats when it all began,
There was cowboy neal at the wheel of the bus to never ever land.
Comin, comin, comin around, comin, around,
Comin, around, in a circle
Comin, comin, comin around, comin around, in a circle,
Comin, comin, comin around, comin in a circle.
And when the day had ended, with rainbow colors blended,
Their minds remained unbended,
He had to die, oh, you know he had to die.

Give Me Back My Rags #4
Get out of my walled infinity
Of the star circle round my heart
Of my mouthful of sun
Get out of the comic sea of my blood
Of my flow of my ebb
Get out of my stranded silence
Get out I said get out
Get out of my living abyss
Of the bare father-tree within me
Get out how long must I cry get out
Get out of my bursting head
Get out just get out

Attunement could occur through any of the great religions, but would be tied exclusively to none of them. A person could be attuned to an "integral spirituality" while still be a practicing Christian, Buddhist, New-Age advocate, or Neopagan. This would be something added to one's religion, not subtracted from it. The only thing it would subtract (and there's no way around this) is the belief that one's own path is the only true path to salvation.

The Reckoning
(Chorus)
Destiny spawned us, it's the reckoning
This time it's our blood, don't tread on me
Revenge is not justice, it's the reckoning
This time it's our blood, yeah don't tread on me
You went too far this time, for this heinous crime
You will know defeat, begging on your knees
One by one you'll fall, your back against the wall
Nowhere to turn, your sure to burn
(Chorus)
Destiny spawned us, it's the reckoning
This time it's our blood, don't tread on me
The hours close at hand, I'll make my final stand
Justice shall be done, nowhere to run
True evil grows in you, you're just a brainwashed fool
The coward close that hides, spewing forth his lies
(Chorus)
Revenge is not justice, it's the reckoning
This time it's our blood, yeah don't tread on me
Born of destruction, bred in agony
Is this my salvation?
From these ashes of your devastation
If it was up to me, eye for an eye I say
With a hammer we will take, Lady Justice is asleep
The Judgement has been made, in blood it shall be paid
Death knows what to do, the horseman comes for you.
(Chorus)
Destiny spawned us, it's the reckoning
This time it's our blood, don't tread on me
Revenge is not justice, it's the reckoning
This time it's our blood, yeah don't tread on me

Add It Up
The first time that I saw you, you were modestly waiting for a bus
Now youre driving around in hired limousines
And you talk so upper class.
The cost is high, but its not the only price you ultimately pay
Add it up, you might have got some money
But you lost me on the way
Add it up, oh
Add it up, oh
Add it up, oh
Add it up, oh
Ah, gucci, gucci, gucci
Cartier, cartier
Gucci, gucci, gucci
Add it up,
You multiplied and multiplied but whats it leading to?
Add it up,
The only thing subtracted is the love I had for you
So add it up, oh
Add it up, oh
Add it up, oh
Add it up, oh
Symbols of perversion and insanity
Symbols of social immorality
Symbols of economic cruelty
Symbolize all what you did to me
Ah, gucci, gucci, gucci
Cartier, cartier
Gucci, gucci, gucci
Cartier, cartier
Money cant cover up the fact youre getting older every day
And you cant disguise your sad little eyes that give your loneliness away
Add it up, oh
Add it up, oh
Add it up, oh
(repeat)

On the Death of a Very Young Gentleman
He, who could view the book of destiny,
And read whatever there was writ of thee,
O charming youth, in the first opening page,
So many graces in so green an age,
Such wit, such modesty, such strength of mind,
A soul at once so manly and so kind,
Would wonder when he turned the volume o'er,
And, after some few leaves, should find no more,
Nought but a blank remain, a dead void space,
A step of life that promised such a race.
We must not, dare not, think, that heaven began
A child, and could not finish him a man;
Reflecting what a mighty store was laid
Of rich materials, and a model made:
The cost already furnished; so bestowed,
As more was never to one soul allowed:
Yet after this profusion spent in vain,
Nothing but mouldering ashes to remain,
I guess not, lest I split upon the shelf,
Yet, durst I guess, heaven kept it for himself;
And giving us the use, did soon recall,
Ere we could spare the mighty principal.
Thus then he disappeared, was rarified,
For 'tis improper speech to say he died:
He was exhaled; his great Creator drew
His spirit, as the sun the morning dew.
'Tis sin produces death; and he had none,
But the taint Adam left on every son.
He added not, he was so pure, so good,
'Twas but the original forfeit of his blood;
And that so little, that the river ran
More clear than the corrupted fount began.
Nothing remained of the first muddy clay;
The length of course had washed it in the way:
So deep, and yet so clear, we might behold
The gravel bottom, and that bottom gold.
As such we loved, admired, almost adored,
Gave all the tribute mortals could afford.
Perhaps we gave so much, the powers above
Grew angry at our superstitious love;
For when we more than human homage pay,
The charming cause is justly snatched away.
Thus was the crime not his, but ours alone;
And yet we murmur that he went so soon,
Though miracles are short, and rarely shown.
Learn then, ye mournful parents, and divide
That love in many, which in one was tied.
That individual blessing is no more,
But multiplied in your remaining store.
The flame's dispersed, but does not all expire;
The sparkles blaze, though not the globe of fire.
Love him by parts, in all your numerous race,
And from those parts form one collected grace;
Then, when you have refined to that degree,
Imagine all in one, and think that one is he.

Mystic Journey: Gravity 2
through science's grainy spectacles
the cosmos collapses into probabilities,
but Man, one of the highest improbables,
is beyond observed observers' observing.
even that final, mysterious transformation
of mass into Light, and then Intelligence,
mathematical alchemy of quantum gravity,
can't convert all into a Kosmos conscious
of Itself, a Being whose constitution,
the Tree of Life, is an Intelligence free
balanced at all times, at all points.
science is silent on matters that matter
most. too, when keats wrote 'Beauty
is truth, truth beauty, '* he might later
have added that both of them are good.
from alpha to omega, conscious ascents
of consciousness pressure us- so what
side of the looking glass are we on?
with eyes open we behold an infinite mass
of light. close them for an instant.
the cosmos disappears. instead, we pass
into intuition and, through its reflexive
screen, discover nothing changed since
the big roar began. here, within the
motionless Mind within ever-in-motion
Light, at the vital heart of the Kosmos,
is a power of attraction, an action
we quaint call Love. from the physicist
and his fuzzy particle, to the artist
and her feel for beauty, Love is the Law.
its gravity is a desire for order and unity
in diversity. since time began not one dot
has been added to nor subtracted from it.
it is now, ever was, and ever shall be
the same. and that is all we know.
and that is all we ever need to know.

Me & Sarah Jane
The fires are burning in another land,
Dont start counting, dont start counting.
Colder and colder, the ice is moving closer
And it gets me down.
Going round and round and down the same old track.
Pack on my back, going swiftly nowhere,
Heart in my ear beating like a drum.
Where will you go?
All by yourself.
(hah, hah, hah, hah, hah, hah.)
And now Im standing on the corner.
Waiting in the rain,
But then in sunlight without warning,
I invent a name,
Me and sarah jane,
We had a special thing going,
Me and sarah jane.
It was a time of love and laughter,
It wouldnt come again,
We had our round of joy but after,
Then began the pain,
Me and sarah jane.
We had a special thing going,
Me and sarah jane,
Sarah jane.
Searching for a clue.
Traces on the sand.
First Im flying, going round round round,
Then Im sliding going down down down,
Doesnt matter where I start I always end up
Falling through those same old crowded rooms.
Me and sarah jane,
We had it coming
All the pain,
Walking down the streets,
And finding nothing is the same,
And now the city lights are dimming one by one,
It costs too much money to keep them all on.
Me and sarah jane,
In silence walk along the shore,
Tears of joy and mocking laughter,
Words lost in the wind.
The tide was rising,
But there we stayed,
We had no fear of dying
We werent afraid.

Traces (Life Poem)
Traces of memories we leave in verse,
Which capture moments in time, that
Become invisible, once they are gone.
Traces of what we are and do and can do,
In our life from the day we are born, until
We die, a summation of hopes and fears.
Traces are the sticky air between, hope
Fulfilled and the fears conquered, while
Life flows slowly towards an endless sea.

Shock The Garden
Symbols are true, because they are there.
Your solemn ache
proud of failure
traces a circle.
Dark and eternal, in all its purity
punishment becomes an award for life.
It is not difficult to know
whether a god exists.
You commit suicide to become a god.
Inoculating falsehood
dying daily unto death was not my pitch.
Your mind breaks the moon in dark,
into hundred bright crumbs.
Each bit becomes a metaphor
To shock the garden.

Make Your Own Book!
On blurb dot com I read of how
You could make your own book
With text and photos, added POW
To fashion your own look
At first, I sat there mesmerised
And all new thoughts conceived
I sat there, somewhat google eyed
At what could be achieved
On blurb dot com what could I do?
What wonders could I make?
What landscapes, seascapes, points-of-view?
I asked, for goodness sake
My brilliant brain began to whirr!
The blood was spinning round!
Then startling themes began to stir
With visions to astound
On blurb dot com I made my book
And what a book it was
I plead with you to take a look
Because, because, because
Because I think it's beautiful
Exquisite, cute, sublime
I think that blurb is wonderful
That's why I penned this rhyme

Spade
The beauty spot was borrowed
Now my sweet knife rusts tomorrow
I'm a confession that is waiting to be heard
Burn your empty rain down on me
Whisper your deathbeat so softly
We bend our knees at the alter of my ego
You drained my heart, and made a spade
There's still traces of me in your veins
You drained my heart, and made a spade
There's still traces of me in your veins
All my lilies' mouths are open, like they're begging for dope and hoping
their bitter petal chant, "we can kick, you wont be back"
Im a diamond that is tired, of all the faces i've aquired, we must secure the shadow ere the substance fades
You drained my heart, and made a spade
There's still traces of me in your veins
You drained my heart, and made a spade
There's still traces of me in your veins
And we said 'til we die
And we said 'til we die
You drained my heart, and made a spade
There's still traces of me in your veins
You drained my heart, and made a spade
There's still traces of me in your veins
You drained my heart, and made a spade
There's still traces of me in your veins
You drained my heart, and made a spade
There's still traces of me in your veins
And we said 'til we die
And we said 'til we die

Dark Companion
Another round for my dark companion (1)
The view from here is crouded now
My doppelganger smiles at me (2)
From across the room
I will wear only black and white
And hide in the alleys
On a saturday night
The endless prattle of politicians (3)
Rings in my ears
The rain makes my eyeliner run (4)
Another round for my dark companion
Another round for my dark companion
The great social issues mean less than nothing
To dimensional pests
On my tv screen
The view from here is crouded now
My doppelganger smiles at me
From across the room
Another round for my dark companion
Another round for my dark companion...
