The Taste of Death

I have not heard
The melody of morning birds
This entire summer season…
I’m sure they still sing
Delicately at dawn,
But my thoughts are deafening:
I think of your tears
And how we walked away
From each other on a fateful day
Of anger and jealousy,
A day of harsh words
And damnable recriminations!

When you feel hurt
To the empty core of your being,
Forgiveness is impossible
And the loneliness
Is the taste of death.

The Melody Of My Heart

my heart is on the rise
and fall
my heart's melody is as nice
than all
like the leaves
on the tree by the river

my heart is a melody
to the birds of love,
life and all that worth
as i walked the earth
with the melody
of my heart from then
and sang to my heart a melody

i explore an adventure
of the melody in my heart
and art a melody of my heart
with fingers dancing to the heart
my veins rain with melody of the heart
i feel the heart
in talk and melody
and that melody
is the melody
of my heart

my heart is a melody
to the words of a rhythm
its music from the heart
a melody of emotions,
feelings, love and death
...after all,
it is the melody of my heart

The Root Of All Evil

Anger,
The root of all evil,
Dwells in your heart.
Anger,
Towards me,
For what I have done.

As time passes,
The anger grows,
Until it has engulfed your,
Entire mind, soul and,
Your entire being.

Irrationality goes hand in hand,
With the anger you,
Conceal in your very,
Troubled heart.
Irrationally you judge,
Irrationally you blame,
But I have irrationally acted,
And I know I have hurt you.

In my own anger,
I have pierced the heart,
That I once cared for,
The heart I once held close,
To my own,
But now that heart,
I have torn.

The words I said,
Have been forgotten,
The anger I felt,
Has been relived,
But you broken still,
Remain.

I am truly sorry,
For my harsh words and,
For my rash actions,
They were only in anger,
And anger,
Is the root of all evil.

Melody Of Love

I always
Stayed away from love
Afraid of what might
Might happen
Till i thought
I heard a sound above
Singing through my very
Own heart
Was a melody
I never heard
Like birds singing loud
To the sky
Never dreamed that
True love would help me
Find my way
Didn't know how deep i'd fallen
Until you rescued, rescued me
Suddenly
Strings began
I heard the melody again and again
The sound of music
Flowing through my head
So rare
I'm walking on air
Melody of love
Sing that song for me yeah
I want to hear somebody sing
Melody of love
Oh take me away
One lonely night
You up and dance into my dreams
Baby you set my heart on fire
So i've been burning
Burning ever since yeah
Suddenly
Strings began
I hear the melody again and again
The sounds of trumpets
Flowing through my head
So rare i'm walking on air
Melody of love
Sing that song for me yeah
I want to hear somebody sing
Melody of love
Oh take me away
Melody of love
Oh set me free yeah
I want to hear somebody sing
Melody of love
Oh take me away
Oh melody
Oh melody
I can really feel it
You can feel it, too
Oh melody
Oh melody
Melody of love
Sing that song for me yeah

Mr. Songman

(words & music by donnie summer)
Here's another dime for you, mr. songman
Sing the loneliness of broken dreams away, if you can
Yes it's only me and you, mr. songman
Take away the night sing away my hurt, mr. songman
In your ivory covered house, safe behind your walls of glass
You keep staring back at me like a memory from the past
Won't you sing me away to a summer night
Let me hold you in my arms again
I know memory's not re-living
But at least it's not the end
Here's another dime for you mr. songman
Sing the loneliness of broken dreams away, if you can
Yes it's only me and you, mr. songman
Won't you take away the night, sing away my hurt, mr. songman
Won't you sing me away to a summer night
Let me hold her in my arms again
Take away the night sing away my hurt, mr. songman

Taste The Summer

Can you, can you taste the summer?
I do, I find it in your mouth
Now if I have a weakness it's for sweetness
And it's floating on your breath, the sweetest melody
Doo doo doo doobeedoo
Can you taste the summer?
Sure we can make it till the evenings
Cool haze is reflected off your thighs
Long days are coming up and staying up and playing
Music of the falling stars, a melody (melody...)
Doo doo doo doobeedoo
Can you taste the summer?
Wild orcid on the wind you know
Just where it's blowing
So fresh, fromyour lips is born the melody
Doo doo doo doobeedoo
Can you taste the summer?

Listen to My Tears

Forgiveness you have asked of me
Don't you dare walk out that door
Listen to my tears, mirror of my fears
You have hurt me to the very core

Forgiveness you have not earned
Your many lies had taken their toll
Mirror of my fears, listen to my tears
Shed in the darkness of my soul

Forgiveness you do not deserve
But, to heal, I will bring myself to
Listen to my tears, mirror of my fears
Ignore the signs that we are through

Forgiveness you shouldn't soon expect
Her name you call instead of mine
Mirror of my fears, listen to my tears
For our love lost, I will always pine

Fundamental of Liar Chapter CXXXVIII: Anger

Why it makes you angry?
Because you care
Because it disturbs your peaceful life
Because it insults you
Because it is true
Because you are not prepared

Who could make you angry?
It is someone you hold dear in your heart
It is someone you could not bend to your will
It is someone who doesn't understand about you
It is someone who has a power in you
It is everyone in the world

How do you do in your anger?
Do you unleash harsh words without thinking clear?
Do you kick and slam everything near you?
Do you keep it hidden?
Do you manage to push harder?
Do you plan for something malicious to show them who you are?

What left in you after the anger?
Will you regret it?
Will you feel relieved?
Will it still scratch to be set free?
Will you be able to look from the other side?
Will it always be remembered?

And which affect you the most in anger?
The hurt when the trust is broken
The shame when you can't control the anger
The depression when you think you don't even have a right to be angry
The weakness when everything seems turn wrong
The loneliness when you don't actually know the reason

Jealousy Kills People

Why are you so jealousy?
Is it that you're so lousy?
Up to that you feel so clumsy
Then you feel sorry for your self being flossy

Why be like that
You hurt me although you don't get fat
But you have a face like a rat
With your jealousy like a cat

stop being like a dog
don't believe as if your brain is full of fog
as no one can take you out for a jog
as your heart pumps like knock

what do you gain
all you do is just cause pain
and make me sit on rain
while in your head your just plain
I don't even know you aim
jealousy will be your middle name
cause we don't you to feel same
since you're a huge shame
although you wont get the blame
I still can't play anymore the game
as I find you so jealousy person lame
since you don't even have a taste of fame
since I search for you while you live flame

Emptiness of Words

On morning walk, I raise my eyes up,
Not like King David to the mountains,
But to purple flowers, the Pride of India
Queen’s flowers, blossoming bunches out
This hot April summer on Bandra pavement.

I look further up, sky is blue unusually!
Filled with many pieces of clouds
In different shapes and sizes;
To describe cannot go beyond
Squares, circles, triangles, rectangles etc
As if all shapes are governed by angles alone.
What about angels of irregular sponges,
Candyfloss shot through with morning silver,
Evolving like forms of life vibrant, joyful?

In this hot summer April month alone,
More than a billion Indians feel anger
And each Indian a thousand times:
Yet anger is the only available word!
Was your ‘anger’ last Monday morning
Same as of others or yours on weekend?

Like in Heart Sutra of the Buddha
Form is empty: so also, says he, feeling,
Perception, impulse, and consciousness.
Here anger is followed by other words!

Psalm for 9-11 (dedicated to Fr. Mychal Judge)

I hear your soft voice
In the hushed evening breeze
as gentle wind fills
these tall, murmuring trees.

For you're never too far;
your soft breath I can feel.
My soul stirs with faith
that no anger can steal.

Through the cold, empty night
you fill my dark soul.
Your brilliant light breaks
death's harsh hold.

In the morning I'll hear
your clear voice proclaim
that my life you've restored,
bitter tears wiped away.

Loneliness

Heart breaks in loneliness.
A frosty morning; daylight repeals it, and I feel loneliness
on the eve of the day.
When it rains,
a swallow wants to denote a song.
But, after that world calls loneliness.
I see the river flowing, and I come closer to the bank.
I heard the river roaring more in loneliness.
When I stay in my study room
thinking past events, my conscience becomes more powerful in loneliness.
It’s better to stay sometimes in loneliness.
We need sometimes to alleviate pains in loneliness.
You see, love often adorns more homage in loneliness.
Loneliness…………………..
When a war ends,
It becomes time to return for soldiers in loneliness;
and we all mourn in loneliness.
Then we realize what peace is!
One day we all have to say the world ‘good bye’ in loneliness.
Yes, loneliness ……….

Songs In Sleep

If I could frame for you in cunning words
The songs my heart in sleep is often singing,
You'd fancy, love, an orquestra of birds
Upon their quivering throats the dawn were bringing.

Now in some wild, weird flush of melody
I'd feign the skylark, with his music sifting
The final films of nightshade from the lea,
And all the waking world to heaven uplifting.

Then, ere the lengthening liquid solo went--
In skylark fashion--out of hearing o'er us,
I'd mock with skill, as sweet as my intent,
Thrustle and blackbird coming in for chorus.

There's not a strain of joy the birds could sing,
I could not set to words that I've been dreaming;
But when I wake, alas! they all take wing,
And leave of music but the empty seeming.

Believe me, love, I sing to you, in sleep,
Songs that if voiced would waken you to pleasure;
Would you could hear them in your dreams, and keep
Their inner meaning, though you missed the measure.

Season Of Hate

You are leaving now in the season of hate
Because now it is the season of hate
And how many times have you heard from people that they hate you?
How does that world feels to you when you hear it?
I am a 100% sure that you feel hurt and upset with the people
Who told you that they hate you?
But the truth is that hate is very contagious an spreads like crazy from
One person to other
And the truth is that hate turns to anger
And anger turns to violence

Summer Once Again

The seasons goes by.
Fall is when every this starts falling asleep,
Winter is when everything is a slumber
But not theones how are awake.
Spring is when everything starts comeing alive.

But Summer is the season when everything is alive,
When the Flowers are folly blom,
The leave are green and dancing in the wind.

Summer is worm,
Summer is when all the birds sing,
Summer is my beloved season.

When My beloved summer comes i am happy,
When my beloved summer comes I live.

But when it ends I am sad.
Until next year I will wait.

Winter Melody

Emptiness and just a memory
Love is gone with nothing left for me
All those wasted feeling for something I no longer have
I never knew that love could hurt so bad
Winter melody, winter melody, winter melody
Play for me, just for me
cause hes not coming home and Im here alone
On my own
I cant bear to see the sun go down
Casting stormy shadows all around
Nothing seems to matter, I just get by from day to day
I never thought that you would leave this way
Winter melody, winter melody, winter melody
Play for me, just for me
cause hes not coming home and Im here alone
On my own
Winter melody
Play for me, just for me
cause hes not coming home and Im here alone
On my own
Loneliness, thats all thats left for me
Happiness is chilled by winters breeze
I keep on remembering the day that you came along
And since you left, well I just sing the song
Winter melody, winter melody, winter melody
Play for me, just for me
cause hes not coming home and Im here alone
On my own

Explorations: XVI

nurtured and adored
all relationships
circumstantial!

ashes whisper
life's course
incessantly

crumbs of loneliness
scattered on earth
birds and insects feed

peace:
for one, much despised
for other, much desired

treat hurt
with tenderness
lo, it becomes love!

embrace hurt
that it can
never hurt!

tears of joy sorrow
our collective inheritance
on earth

moths kiss light;
taste life once
before death!

Abrupt beginning
Leads to abrupt ending
Time to re-define!

People come and go
Like waves in the sea
Heart, untouched

The sea roared
The wind across waves boomed
Silence redefined!

Birds Who Sing The Same Song

Once upon the hunter's lifetime
He entered the forest with his hound
As he waited for animal senses,
He heard the same sound

The sound came from above
It was the sound of birds
Though they were very different,
They had similar words

The birds were of two colors
They were either brown or green
They sang on top of their voices
The song of a queen

First, the hunter watched them sing
He did not understand the words
He set a trap on the tree
And caught some green birds

He brought them home
Thinking he has caught something good
After preparing the meal,
He realizes their meat is not right for food

Again, he watched them sing
He did not understand the words
He set a trap on the tree
And caught brown birds

He brought them home
Thinking the browns would not taste the same
After preparing the meal,
He realizes the meat was worse in the bowl of shame

He now understood the words
And watches them as they sing
The same song, one meaning
A song to get trapped in a ring

The birds sing the same song
A song of the soul
They sing in a competition
They compete for a common goal

They look attractive on the tree
They sing the same song

Understanding their words is the key
They sing the same song

They sound very kind
They sing the same song

They have a motive in mind
They sing the same song

They sing and fly from the leaves to the stem
But the hunter desires none of them

The hunter would now find other creatures
With the best of all features
Because the birds sing the same song

… about Love

Everything about Love is fascinating;
Love at first sight; love that lasts forever;
Love that kills: winter, fall, summer and spring.
Everything about Love has an element of fever
In it: the anger, the rage, the jealousy,
The scorn, the disgust, the dishonesty,
The deception … etcetera, etcetera.
It is a timing bomb that can explode at the blink
An eye, or implode momentarily at the crank
Of a gun. Love can be unexpectedly deadly,
Beautiful, joyful, sweet … etcetera, etcetera.

Everything about Love is controversial:
The lazy days of summer on the boardwalk,
And the romantic promenade in the park.
Everything about Love is exceptional:
The beauty of the kissing and hugging swans,
And the tenderness of caressing hands.
Everything about Love is beyond words:
The lilies at springtime, the singing birds
During the summer, the ice-skating children
During the wintry season, and in autumn,
The dead leaves in the Garden of Eden.
Everything about Love is beyond words.
Everything about Love can be either sane
Or insane. Love can be fascinating,
Controversial, exceptional, and disgusting.
