The Sacred Shrines
Turn back the clock 1977
When we were children
Who liked to rock and dance in parks
On the 4th of July.
Turn up the Ramones real loud,
Sex Pistols in the city,
And it was So Easy to Fall in Love
FM radio afternoon.
There were so many bands
And I remember the hour your mother
Told us Elvis Presley was dead,
It was a sad end to the summer.
No more county fairgrounds,
No more swimming at the lake;
In time, everything disappears with innocence
After the heart begins to break.
The record stores
In the blink of an eye were no more;
Back in the day, it was so meaningful
To meet in a place of music,
But the sacred shrines all have fallen.

Turn The Music Loud (Rock Lyrics) :
If you're looking for a great adventure honey.
Lookin' for the things you need.
If you're lookin' for times of passion baby.
Someone you can meet.
I suggest the local tavern honey.
I suggest a real good time.
You should try to throw a party baby.
Buy the bar a round.
Try to keep this party going till morning.
Bring along a crowd.
I suggest we go to your apartment baby.
Turn the music loud.
Turn the music way up loud now.
Turn the music loud.
Turn the music way up loud now.
Turn the music loud..
We can keep this party movin' honey.
If we turn the music loud.
Turn the music way up loud now.
Turn the music loud.
We can really crank it up now.
Just turn the music loud.
Turn the music way up loud now.
Turn the music loud.
Turn the music loud...

Am Radio
The VCR and the DVD
There wasn't none of that crap
Back in 1970
We didn't know about
A world wide web
It was a whole different game being played
Back when I was a kid
You wanna get down
In a cool way?
Just picture yourself on a beautiful day
With the big bell bottoms
And groovy long hair
Justa walking in style
With a portable CD player
No
No...you would listen
To the music on
The AM radio
Yeah...you could hear the music
The AM radio
Flashback to '72
Another summer in the neighborhood
Hanging out with nothing to do
Sometimes
We'd go driving around
In my sister's Pinto
Cruisin' with the windows rolled down
We'd listen to the radio station
We were too damn poor
To buy the 8 track tapes
There wasn't any good time
To want to be inside
My mom would want to watch that TV all night
I'd be in bed with the radio on
I would listen to it all night long
Just to hear my favorite song
You'd have to wait
But you could hear it
On the AM radio
Yeah...you could hear the music
On the AM radio
I can still hear mama say
"Boy...Turn that radio down!"
Things changed back in '75
We were all growing up
On the in
And the outside
We got in trouble with the police man
We got busted
Getting high
In the back of my friend's van
I remember 1977
I started going to concerts
And I saw the Led Zeppelin
I got a guitar
On a Christmas day
I dreamed that Jimmy Page
Would come to Santa Monica
And teach me to play
There isn't any other place that I need to go
There isn't anything that I need to know
That I did not learn from the radio
Yeah when things get stupid
And I just don't know
Where to find my happy
I listen to the music
From the AM radio
(You could hear the music
On the AM radio)
(You could hear the music
On the AM radio)
I like pop and I like soul
I like rock
But I never liked disco
(On the AM radio)
We like pop...We like soul
We like to rock
But we never liked disco
(On the AM radio)
I never liked disco...no I never liked disco

Turn The Radio Off
I hate music, I hate the scene
I hate my records, I hate CDs
I hate everyone at shows, and I hate that Rock and Roll
Cuz I know that machine sucked out my soul
Turn it off,
Turn it off,
Turn the radio off
Try thinking for yourself for once in your life
I hate the music business,
it's filled with greed
it's run by old men who don't know what I need
I'm getting older fast, I hope this anger lasts
So I can have the strength to keep fighting back
Turn it off,
Turn it off,
Turn the radio off
Don't you know we're turning into zombies
Turn it off,
Turn it off,
Turn the radio off
Try thinking for yourself for once in your life.
Blah blah blah
another song about the radio
Always complaining that we hate the radio
Well it's time to start the war, now here we go
Our first mission: just don't listen
Turn it off,
Turn it off,
Turn the radio off
Don't you know we're turning into zombies
Turn it off,
Turn it off,
Turn the radio off
Try thinking for yourself for once in your life
Turn it off,
Turn it off,
Turn the radio off
Try thinking for yourself for once in your life.

If I Could Turn Back The Hand Of Time
How did I ever let you slip away
Never knowing I'd be singing this song some day
And now I'm sinking, sinking to rise no more
Ever since you closed the door
[1] - If I could turn, turn back the hands of time
Then my darlin' you'd still be mine
If I could turn, turn back the hands of time
Then darlin' you, you'd still be mine
Funny, funny how time goes by
And blessings are missed in the wink of an eye
Why oh why oh why should one have to go on suffering
When every day I pray please come back to me
[Repeat 1]
And you had enough love for the both of us
But I, I, I did you wrong, I admit I did
But now I'm facing the rest of my life alone, whoa
[Repeat 1]
I'd never hurt you (If I could turn back)
Never do you wrong (If I could turn back)
And never leave your side (If I could turn back)
If I could turn back the hands
There'd be nothing I wouldn't do for you
(If I could turn back)
Forever honest and true to you
(If I could turn back)
If you accept me back in your heart, I love you
(If I could turn back the hands)
(If I could turn back)
That would be my will
(If I could turn back)
Darlin' I'm begging you to take me by the hands
(If I could turn back the hands)
I'm going down, yes I am
(If I could turn back)
Down on my bended knee, yeah
(If I could turn back)
And I'm gonna be right there until you return to me
(If I could turn back the hands)
(If I could turn back)
If I could just turn back that little clock on the wall
(If I could turn back)
Then I'd come to realize how much I love you
Love you love you love you
(If I could turn back the hands)

Turn Your Radio On
Come and listen in to a radio station
Where the mighty hosts of heaven sing
Turn your radio on, turn your radio on
If you want to feel those good vibrations
Coming from the joy that His love can bring
Turn you radio on, turn your radio on.
Turn your radio on
And listen to the music in the air
Turn your radio on and glory share
Turn your lights down low
And listen to the Master's radio
Get in touch with God, and turn your radio on.
--- Instrumental ---
Everybody has a radio receiver
All you got to do is listen for the call
Turn your radio on, turn your radio on
If you listen in you will be a believer
Leanin' on the truths that'll never fall
Get in touch with God, turn the radio on.
Turn your radio on
And listen to the music in the air
Turn your radio on and glory share
Turn your lights down low
And listen to the Master's radio
Get in touch with God, turn your radio on.
Turn your radio on
And listen to the music in the air
Turn your radio on and glory share
Turn your lights down low
And listen to the Master's radio
Get in touch with God, turn your radio on.
Turn your lights down low
And listen to the Master's radio
Get in touch with God, turn your radio on...

Your Mother Should Have Told You
Your looks are sensational
Where do I begin?
You're so unbelievable
It must be a sin
I try to keep pace with you
But I never win
You're on the attack again
I'll have to give in
You look fully grown
I thought you'd have known
Your mother should have told you
Girls turn into women
Your mother should have warned you
You fall in love and then
Your mother should have told you
You're sinking or you're swimming
Your mother should have warned you
Boys turn into men
Her manners are counterfeit
But she knows how to act
And when you get used to it
It's better than fact
You never can tell the real from pretend
You liked the beginning
Well, wait'til the end
You look fully formed
You should have been warned
Your mother should have told you
Girls turn into women
Your mother should have warned you
You fall in love and then
Your mother should have told you
You're sinking or you're swimming
Your mother should have warned you
Boys turn into men
Guitar solo
You look fully grown
I thought you'd have known
Your mother should have told you
Girls turn into women
Your mother should have warned you
Boys turn into men
Your looks are sensational
Where do I begin?
You're so unbelievable
It must be a sin
I thought you'd have known
You look fully grown
...... attend to your own
Your mother should have told you
Girls turn into women
Your mother should have warned you
You fall in love and then
Your mother should have told you
You're sinking or you're swimming
Your mother should have warned you

Nyc Man
It can only lead to trouble if you break my heart
If you accidentally crush it on the ides of march
Id prefer you were straight forward
You dont have to go through all of that
Im a new york city man, baby, and say go and that is that
New york city man, you just say go and that is that
Im a new york city man, you just say go and that is that
Its far too complicated to make up a lie
That youd have to remember and really why
I wouldnt want to be around you
If you didnt want to have me around
Im a m-a-n-n man, you blink your eyes and Ill be gone
M-a-n-n man, you blink your eyes, honey, I love you, Ill be gone
New york city man, you blink your eyes and Ill be gone
Brutus made a pretty speech but caesar was betrayed
Lady macbeth went crazy but macbeth ended slain
Ophelia and desdamona dead leaving hamlet in a play
But Im no lear with blinded eyes, say go and I am gone
The stars have shut their eyes up tight
The earth has changed its course
A kingdom sits on a black knights back
As he tries to mount a white jeweled horse
While a clock full of butterflies on the hour
Releases a thousand moths
You say leave and Ill be gone
Without any remorse
No letters faxes phones or tears
Theres a difference between bad and worse
Im a new york city man, blink your eyes and Ill be gone
New york city - man, m-a-n, you blink your eyes and Ill be gone
New york city, I love you, new york city man
New york city, how I love you, blink your eyes and Ill be gone
Just a little grain of sand
New york city, ooohhh, how I love you
New york city, baby, blink your eyes and Ill be gone
Oh, how I love you

Once Upon A Time Feb 4th 2011
I came from an era where typewriters were few and far between,
Where ball point pens were modern but even then, seldom seen,
Is it possible to stop the clock and maybe turn it back?
Things seemed better then when no one even heard of a heart attack.
Those country singers that were part of my young life, long ago,
Like Johnny Cash and his wife at the Opry singing Troubadour,
Somehow or other they’re not front and center any more,
What has time done to country music that I wish I could restore?
Sometimes I can hear them on TV, someone selling their CDs,
If I could turn back the clock instead of being inclined to agree,
Back to long before the UN got sidetracked in New York,
Almost all the way back to the time that I left County Cork.

On The Radio
On the radio
I love the music
On the radio
Its what theyre playing
When the radios on and you
And me get crazy
Hey, mister on the radio
Please play my favorite song
The one where she didnt go away
Hey, mister on the radio
Youre really my best friend
Please play my favorite song for me
Hey. mister on the radio
Youre with me every day
And late at night I turn you on
On the radio
I love the music
On the radio
Its what theyre playing
When the radios on and you
And me get crazy
All of the rock and roll djs
Got their fingers on the world
cause they play the songs
That make you and me feel so good
Turn up your radios
And hear the music
On the radio
This song is playin
When the radios on
And you and me get crazy
Radio dj monologue:
One minute the back side of midnight its me captain gonzo ready to roll hot wax anything you want to hear
All night its a balmy 73 degrees in fog city, 71 in the valley 80 in santa cruz (? ), but remember if you snooze you lose
Im gonna hang with you, Ill crank it on...so let me know what you want to hear phone lines are open now
You say it you know Im gonna play it and be ready to win when I tell you to call in and whatever you do
Remember the phrase that pays puts your brain on vacation and let your toes take over keep your pedal to the metal
Ill be back in sixty seconds, in the meantime go with it, go for it, go nuts, go completely wild.....

The Ballad of the Rose Trilogy
1st Ballad
A SUMMER'S NIGHT
I will never forget that summer
that summer I fall in love for the first time
it happened after my college graduation
i decided to take a vacation in a mountain
to my aunt's house where i was born.
The first time I saw her, it was in the church
she's so beautiful like an actress I admire
i never stop to glace at her every moment
my heart never stop to beat fast
after that day that i never thought
That I would see her for the second time
in the barangay where i live
in store, where i bought something
as i glance at her, she's mysterious
like Mona Lisa, so i never let her away
Ask her name, her name is Irma
I invite her to dance tonight
a dance to the barangay's fiesta
at first she refuse but i convince her
she agree then she smile at me.
In the eve of the fiesta, the moon is full
I grab her hands, she follow me
i never thought she will dance with grace
as we dance she talk to me,
she no longer mysterious to me
As the dance ends, under moon's light
we went to a solitary place
I never thought this would happen
everything happens so past
we kiss then lay down in a grass
As I enter inside of her, she smile,
the great pain I feel, she stand,
the blood flows, I lose my p***s
it fall in front of me as she opens hers
she look at me and she said,
' Your an idiot, you deserve this
by the way, everything I said to you is lie
i don't live here, i live in hell! '
she laugh i saw here leave
i bathe in blood, i loose my consciousness.
As I wake up, I am in the hospital
I thought it's just a nightmare
but it's true, i have no p***s anymore
as I get better, they ask me, i lie to them
the truth is embarrassing so
It has been a years from now,
I never heard of her again
I am older, I never been married,
I will never ever forget that summer
that summer i fall with a rose with thrones!
2nd Ballad
p.80
Janna,
I just want to thank you!
Thank you being my best friend through all these years.
For being my wife, for loving me all these time.
My love, my heart beat is right...
You are my forevermore.
Remember that first time we meet?
We were young at that time.
How could i forget it was our high school days.
It was in the school canteen
You left your book and I run after you
I never knew the woman I am looking for
Is the most beautiful woman in the campus.
The woman every man could fall in love.
So we became friends and the right time comes,
I tell you the truth, we became lovers
And the day I proposed you...remember that day?
I gave you the sweet red rose,
And I said ' My beautiful Janna, will you marry me? '
I thought I get busted then you said 'Yes.'
I am the happiest man in the world.
My dearest wife, all these years
Though our marriage is not perfect,
You make me happy, you inspire me
Your the best mother to our children
I love you so much.
Janna, as I am writing this letter,
I could not stop to cry
The doctor told me I have Alzheimer's Disease
I know soon will never remember you anymore.
Please don't be sad my love, don't cry on me
Do you remember your favorite book?
I brought for you for the last time
I put it on beneath your cabinet
When you see it, please turn to page 80
Then you'll see the sweet red rose
A rose just like I gave you the day I proposed you
My dearest wife, I love you
One day I will no longer remember you
Please my love, do not sad
Embrace the book I gave you for the last time
And do always remember the rose.
I loved you now... I will love you forever!
Farewell my love... farewell...
Nael.
3rd Ballad
A Love at the End of the World
It is 3: 00 in the afternoon here in Embarcadero
I am still waiting for her come...
I miss her so much, it's been 4 years from now since then
while I am waiting for her, i wanna tell you a story
a story of my life when I was in college
I am lonely man living in a lonely world
Until the time I board to Daraga to focus to my study
I never know my life change forever
I remember one time I am alone up the rooftop
She come there crying, she's drunk
I try to talk to her she replied
Her name is Rose, she's one of my boardmate...
One of my classmate at school
the first time i saw though it's
my heat beats fast, it telling me she's the one...
we became friends until the 4th year
never dared to her the felling inside
until the before gradation I date her
we watched romantic movie and we went to Embarcade
I tell her the truth, she was surprise
she replied, ' If you could wait 4 years then we will be.
Maybe that year, all my dreams already fullfill.'
then I replied, 'I will wait for you. After 4 years here in this place...
At 4: 00 in the afternoon, promise me you would come'
She smile then said, 'Promise.'
It's 4: 15 in the afternoon, I am still waiting for her
now I am hearing someone calling behind my back
I turn around, i see it, i was surprise...
It's her... but she's different now...
she's very, very, very much fat
oh, i hope turn back the clock right now,
but still i am gonna propose to her right
i am already 50 years old... i dont wanna get extinct.

Music Time
Written by dennis deyoung
Lead vocals by dennis deyoung
Hey everybody its music time
Now, you cant expect to figure out how to be cool looking in catalogs, so forget about it
Youve gotta do it the old-fashioned way...fake it!
Yeah!
Play your drum boy!
I like music
The rhythm really gets to me
I cant control it
My feet move automatically
And I like hot licks
The kind I wish that I could play
And when I hear them
I crank the volume all the way
Turn it on
Turn it up
Turn it loud
All the way
I like strangers
Their kindness means a lot to me
They dont ask questions
Dont care about my history
And I like fast girls
I dont know whats come over me
They make me do things
I would not ordinarily
Turn me on
Turn me up
Turn me loose
All the way
Hear it
Feel it
Like it
Do it do it do it do it
Want it
Need it
Love it
Cant get enough of it
Try it
Do it
Go ahead and go for it
All the way......
And I like daydreams
Ive had enough reality
My job is boring
Im overworked and underpaid
I like tv
It stirs up all my fantasies
Girls in tight jeans
Acting so outrageously
Turn me on
Turn me up
Turn me loose
All the way
Hear it
Feel it
Like it
Do it do it do it do it
Want it
Need it
Love it
Cant get enough of it
Try it
Do it
Go ahead and go for it
All the way
Turn me loose, loose!
[guitar solo]
Oh!
I like big things
The size of them impresses me
Just give me plenty
Forget about the quality
And I like fast food
The burgers always taste the same
No snotty waiters,
Escargot or beaujolais
Turn me on
Turn me up
Turn me loose
Turn it loud
All the way
I hear it
I feel it
I like it
I do it do it do it do it
I want it
I need it
I love it
I cant get enough of it
I hear it
I feel it
I like it
I do it do it do it do it
Try it
Do it
Go ahead and bank on it
All the way
Way-ay-ay
Yeah!
Turn it on
Turn it up
Turn it loose
Turn it loud (hey everybody its music time)
Turn it on (hey everybody its music time)
Turn it up (hey everybody its music time)
Turn it loose (hey everybody its music time)
Turn it loud (hey everybody its music time)
Turn it on (hey everybody its music time)
Turn it up (hey everybody its music time)
Turn it loose (hey everybody its music time)
Turn it loud (hey everybody its music time)
Turn it on (hey everybody its music time)
Turn it up (hey everybody its music time)
Turn it loose (hey everybody its music time)
Turn it loud (hey everybody its music time)
Turn it on (hey everybody its music time)
Turn it up (hey everybody its music time)
Turn it loose (hey everybody its music time)
Turn it loud (hey everybody its music time)
Hey everbody its music time!
Hey everbody its music time!
Hey everbody its music time!

Turn The Radio Up
C'mon everybody open
Up your windows
Turn on the music
Turn on the music
When I feel that this old world
Is just to hard to bear
People comin' at me left and right
Day and night
Here's the thing I do
Turn the radio up
Hear the melody
Turn reality down
There's too much talk about blues
To much of the time
Turn the radio up
Hear the harmony
Turn the ngative down
Turn the radio up
Everything will be find
Worryin' don't do no good
So throw your cares away
Come on people life's too
Short to stay
Hey hey
Everybody now
Turn the radio up
Hear the melody
Play it all over town
There's to much talk about blues
Turn the bulletins down
Turn the radio up
Hear the harmony
Don't 'cha be so profound
Turn the radio up
It'll turn you around
Don't give in
No matter what they say
Out with the negative
You find the positive way
Hey, hey, hey
Turn the radio up
Up with harmony
Pandemonium down
There's to much talk about blues
All over this town
Hey, hey, hey
Turn the radio up
Hear the melody
Don't you be so profound
Turn the radio up
It'll turn you around
Turn the radio up
Turn the radio up
Turn the radio up

On The Radio
(giorgio moroder/donna summer)
Someone found the letter you wrote me on the radio
And they told the world just how you felt
It mustve fallen out of a hole in your old brown overcoat
They never said your name but I knew just who they meant
Oh, I was so surprised and shocked and I wondered too
If by chance you heard it for yourself
I never told a soul just how Id been feeling over you
But they said it really loud and said it on the air
On the radio
Oh... on the radio
Oh... on the radio
Oh...
Now dont it kinda strike you sad when you hear our song
Things are not the same since we broke up last june
The only thing I want to hear is that you love me still
And that you think youll be coming home real soon
Oh... he kinda a made me feel proud when I heard him say
You couldnt find the words to say it for yourself
And now in my heart I know I can say what I really mean
cause they said it really loud they said it on the air
On the radio
Oh... on the radio
Oh... on the radio
Oh...
Now if you think that love isnt found on the radio
Then tune right in you may find the love lost
cause now Im sitting here with the man I sent away long ago
He found he really lied he said he really lied
On the radio
Oh... on the radio
Oh... on the radio
Oh...

Never Let You Go
Theres every good reason for letting you go
Shes sneaky and smoked out
And its starting to show
I never let you go
I never let you go
I never let you go
I never let you turn around our back on each other
Thats a good idea break a promise to your mother
Turn around your back on each other
You say that Ive changed
Well maybe I did
But even if I changed
Whats wrong with it
I never let you go
I never let you go
I never let you go
I never let you turn around our back on each other
Thats a good idea break a promise to your mother
Turn around your back on each other
And our friends are gone and gone
And all the time moves on and on
And all I know is its wrong its wrong
And all I know its wrong its wrong its wrong its wrong
If theres a reason its lost on me
Maybe well be friends I guess well see
I never let you go
I never let you go
I never let you go
I never let you go
I never let you turn around our back on each other
Thats a good idea break a promise to your mother
Turn around lets turn on each other
Good idea break a promise to your mother
Turn around your back on each other
Thats a good idea break a promise to your mother
Turn around your back on each other
What a good idea
I remember the stupid things the mood rings the bracelets and the beads
Nickels and dimes yours and mine did you cash in all your dreams
You dont dream for me no goodbye goodbye you dont dream for me no
But I still feel you pulse like sonar from the days in the waves
That girl is like a sunburn
I would like to say
The girl is like a sunburn
I would like to say
Shes like a sunburn
Shes like a sunburn

First time I saw Elvis was at the Lubbock County fairgrounds in Lubbock, Texas. He was on the back end of a truck. There was about 1500 screaming kids.
Billy Spleen
Im heading for the end on top of this bullshit
I dont want to hear it.
I found my way again.
Its hard to explain it
I know that I hate it
I dont feel this could be real.
I find so hard Im falling apart
So much so much for what for what we said.
No matter what I say, you turn your back away.
Its never going to break you,
Its never going to make you fall.
No matter what I say, you turn your back away.
Its never going to break you,
Its never going to make you fall.
This fake reality I never can make up the time that you take up.
Its my worst enemy.
Im on a mission to feed my addiction.
So sick of thoughts so empty.
Its well overflowed Im bound to explode.
So much so much for what for what we said.
No matter what I say, you turn your back away.
Its never going to break you,
Its never going to make you fall.
No matter what I say, you turn your back away.
Its never going to break you,
Its never going to make you fall.
Somehow between the lines its clearer
Locked down and chained up to the mirror.
Somehow between the lines its clearer
Locked down it takes apart of me.
Im heading for the end on top of this bullsh**
I dont want to hear it.
I found my way again.
Its hard to explain it
I know that I hate it
I dont feel this could be real.
I find so hard Im falling apart
So much so much for what for what we said.
No matter what I say,
You turn your back away.
Its never going to break you,
Its never going to make you fall.
No matter what I say, you turn your back way.
Its never going to break you
Its never going to make you fall.

Starman
Didnt know what time it was and the lights were low
I leaned back on my radio
Some cat was layin down some rock n roll lotta soul, he said
Then the loud sound did seem to fade
Came back like a slow voice on a wave of phase
That werent no dj, that was hazy cosmic jive
Theres a starman waiting in the sky
Hed like to come and meet us
But he thinks hed blow our minds
Theres a starman waiting in the sky
Hes told us not to blow it
Cause he knows its all worthwhile
He told me -
Let the children lose it
Let the children use it
Let all the children boogie
I had to phone someone so I picked on you
Hey, thats far out so you heard him too!
Switch on the tv we may pick him up on channel two
Look out your window I can see the light
If we can sparkle he may land tonight
Dont tell your papa or hell get us locked up in fright
Theres a starman waiting in the sky
Hed like to come and meet us
But he thinks hed blow our minds
Theres a starman waiting in the sky
Hes told us not to blow it
Cause he knows its all worthwhile
He told me -
Let the children lose it
Let the children use it
Let all the children boogie
Starman waiting in the sky
Hed like to come and meet us
But he thinks hed blow our minds
Theres a starman waiting in the sky
Hes told us not to blow it
Cause he knows its all worthwhile
He told me -
Let the children lose it
Let the children use it
Let all the children boogie
La, la, la, la, la, la, la, la-la (repeat until end)
Culture club faithfully covered this david bowie hit (it reached no.10 in the uk and no.65 in the us in july 1972) on their 98 re-wind tour so well that it has become a fixture at culture club concerts, got a joint a-side single with cold shoulder and also features on the new album, dont mind if I do.

starman (Lyrics)
Goodbye love
Didn't know what time it was the lights were low oh how
I leaned back on my radio oh oh
Some cat was layin' down some rock 'n' roll 'lotta soul, he said
Then the loud sound did seem to fade a ade
Came back like a slow voice on a wave of phase ha hase
That weren't no D.J. that was hazy cosmic jive
There's a starman waiting in the sky
He'd like to come and meet us
But he thinks he'd blow our minds
There's a starman waiting in the sky
He's told us not to blow it
Cause he knows it's all worthwhile
He told me:
Let the children lose it
Let the children use it
Let all the children boogie
I had to phone someone so I picked on you ho ho
Hey, that's far out so you heard him too! o o
Switch on the TV we may pick him up on channel two
Look out your window I can see his light a ight
If we can sparkle he may land tonight a ight
Don't tell your poppa or he'll get us locked up in fright
There's a starman waiting in the sky
He'd like to come and meet us
But he thinks he'd blow our minds
There's a starman waiting in the sky
He's told us not to blow it
Cause he knows it's all worthwhile
He told me:
Let the children lose it
Let the children use it
Let all the children boogie
Starman waiting in the sky
He'd like to come and meet us
But he thinks he'd blow our minds
There's a starman waiting in the sky
He's told us not to blow it
Cause he knows it's all worthwhile
He told me:
Let the children lose it
Let the children use it
Let all the children boogie

We Built This City
Chorus:
We built this city, we built this city on rock and roll
Built this city, we built this city on rock and roll
Say you dont know me or recognize my face
Say you dont care who goes to that kind of place
Knee deep in the hoopla sinking in your fight
Too many runaways eating up the night
Marconi plays the mamba, listen to the radio, dont you remember
We built this city, we built this city on rock and roll
Chorus:
We built this city, we built this city on rock and roll
Built this city, we built this city on rock and roll
Someone always playing corporation games
Who cares theyre always changing corporation names
We just want to dance here someone stole the stage
They call us irresponsible write us off the page
Marconi plays the mamba, listen to the radio, dont you remember
We built this city, we built this city on rock and roll
We built this city, we built this city on rock and roll
Built this city, we built this city on rock and roll
Its just another sunday, in a tired old street
Police have got the choke hold, oh then we just lost the beat
Who counts the money underneath the bar
Who rides the wrecking ball in two rock guitars
Dont tell us you need us, cos were the ship of fools
Looking for america, coming through your schools
(Im looking out over that golden gate bridge
Out on another gorgeous sunny saturday, not seein that bumper to bumper traffic)
Dont you remember (member)(member)
(whats your favorite radio station, in your favorite radio city
The city by the bay, the city that rocks, the city that never sleeps)
Marconi plays the mamba, listen to the radio, dont you remember
We built this city, we built this city on rock and roll
We built this city, we built this city on rock and roll
Built this city, we built this city on rock and roll
Built this city, we built this city on rock and roll
Built this city, we built this city on rock and roll
(we built, we built this city) built this city (we built, we built this city)
(repeats out)

Radio Ga Ga
All we hear is radio ga ga
Radio blah blah
Radio - what's new
Radio - someone still loves you
1984 - a long time ago
When I heard it first time on the radio
Radio ga ga was the name of that song
Now I'm back with the track and I feel so strong
1996 - the remix is done
First time ever since the story begun
One of my favorites in the music scene
Here is the voice, the voice of Queen
I'd sit alone and watch your light
My only friend through teenage nights
And everything I had to know I heard it on my radio
So don't become some background noise
A backdrop for the girls and boys
Who just don't know or just don't care
And just complain when you're not there
You had your time, you had the power
You've yet to have your finest hour
Radio
All we hear is radio ga ga
Radio goo goo Radio ga ga
All we hear is radio ga ga
Radio blah blah
Radio - what's new
Radio - someone still loves you
If you want to listen to the music of today
Turn on the radio and let it play
Play it loud without no doubt
Queen and BoBo is what I'm talking all about
About a beat that spins you around
Get up stand up move to the sound
With the rhythm and the rhymes let the music flow
Everybody everywhere listen to the radio
We watch the the shows - we watch the stars
On videos for hours and hours
We hardly need to use our ears
How music changes through the years.
Let's hope you never leave old friend
Like all good things on you we depend
So stick around cause we might miss you
When we grow tired of all this visual
You had your time - you had the power
You've yet to have your finest hour
Radio
