I Wanted To Make Love To Monica
When Monica saw me sleeping
One day at dawn upon the wet grass,
She asked me, “Isn’t that a peculiar place to sleep? ”
I raised my waking eyes to look at her,
Her body was supple and sexy,
But not the stunning body of fifteen years ago,
She had gained a slight belly,
Somehow making her even more alluring;
I said, “It’s not such a bad place to rest,
The sparrows serenade me with joyous songs.”
I wanted to make love to Monica,
But I fondly gazed at one of my little sparrows
And went back to sleep.

Look at monica walking in her sleep
Look at monica running through the fields
In her dream, so serene
Monica, monica
Hush, dont you say a word
Did you see the smile she made today?
Look at monica
Look at monica
Mornings coming ever so fast
Shadows realitys cast
More like a dream that just wont last
Look at monica walking in her sleep
Look at monica running through the fields
In her dream, so serene
Monica, monica
Please keep quiet, let her sleep
Cant you see the smile she made today?

Black Moon Creeping
Sleeping eyes sleep awhile
And let me get to know your language
If I believe all I see
I would hate to be around for the dawn
Sleeping eyes stay awhile
And give me some cause to rejoice
A parody of the scene
Where my three wishes were granted to me
What you got buried? in your backyard
What secret do you sleep with when the black moon come
Sleeping eyes please come clean
Im not giving you the third degree
When you live with no mans time
Aint it hard to find some peace of mind
Sleeping eyes dont you cry
And dont pretend this is not an ending
Your history yes it seems
Has been swept out with the leaves

Be Sexy Effortlessly
Being sexy is not revealing parts.
Being sexy is highlighting features.
Highlight hair, ears, neck, upper back,
Arms or legs but one or two at a time.
There's a fine line between being sexy
And being cheap, which a woman must note.
For a toned body, no need of windows.
For defying hair, no need of hair-do.
For evenness of the skin, no cosmetics;
For hygiene body, no need of perfume.
On a pair of high heels one is sexy
With breasts forward and buttocks upward.
To look sexy, woman must feel sexy.
In feeling sexy, she gains confidence
About her sexual prowess and command.
Be sexy effortlessly and feed man's eyes.

I'll Sleep My Life Away
When dying tomorrow
is no worse than dying today,
I'll sleep my life away;
no hunger unbearable,
no pain so lacerating -
no lie to make up...
no human defamed.
The world shuts down,
the avenues sleep.
The body forgotten,
the heart stops to weep.
With clouds as my roof,
darkness, my covers...
I hover in nothingness
for nothingness is life.
Death is waking up in obscene streets
begging for food that could not satisfy -
for hunger, pain and sorrow meet
under that same old sky.
Death is waking up in misery
and remember you still breathe
the filthy air and you still see
everything obscure;
nowhere to avert to, everyone's averse.
When mirrors are horrible,
no brighter side to look upon...
when dream is but a worn-out lie,
when children's cries linger on
and there are no lullabies
but cars that hover on.
Death is waking up in agony
and remember you still breathe...
weak hands raised up, palms to the heavens
for coins to purchase bread.
Oh the cruel life you have to live,
with filthy water you just but drink -
I'll sleep my life away.
Life to me is when I close my eyes
and everything falls into place.

When Her Brothers Were Away.
When Monica asked
if she could go with you
and her brothers
bike riding
her mother said
no you're too young
or if she asked
to go with you
and Jim and Pete
to the cinema
to see the latest
Elvis flick
her mother said
definitely not
it's not for young girls
and Monica'd storm indoors
slamming the door
shouting I hate you all
but when you called one day
and her brothers were out
(gone to see their big brother
about some old motorbike)
her mother said
yes come in and wait
and Monica was
pleased as Punch
especially when
her mother said
you could stay to lunch
and I can show you
over the place
Monica said
and after lunch maybe
we can go for a bike ride
along the small lanes
and maybe you
could show me
some judo moves
and her mother said
we'll see I'm not sure
Benedict will want
to do those kind
of things with a girl
and went off
to make lunch
and Monica showed you
all over the house
whose room was whose
and up in the attic
she said
this is my room
and took your hand
and took you
to the window
and said
see the view I've got?
Isn't it the best?
and you said
yes it's good
and you took in the view
and looking around
the room you saw her bed
and the big pink elephant
there by the wall
staring at you
and she said
that's Pinkie
isn't she great?
sure
you said
and she took you
down the stairs
to the kitchen for lunch
and her mother
chatted away
about her sons
and Monica sat there
gawking at you
her eyes studying
each aspect of you
her eyes large
as saucers
blue and beautiful
and after lunch
you showed her
a few judo moves
which she loved
especially when
your hands moved her
and you sensed
her almost ready
to burst with joy
and just before
you were ready
to go for a ride
on the bikes
her brothers came
and shooed her away
and she went off
giving them the evil eye
but you she gave
the young girl wink
the we know
what they don't smile
and off you rode
with her brothers
but she kept
those moments with you
(to herself)
as if you were
Romeo and Juliet
fond lovers.

Judo Practice.
You practiced
judo moves with Jim
on the grass
outside the farmhouse
where he lived
and his younger sister
stood on the periphery
watching the moves and falls
and she watched you
with her usual concentration
her eyes glued on you
her hands clapping
when you had Jim down
or made the right moves
and her mother
poked her head
out of the door
of the farmhouse
and said
Monica leave the boys alone
they don't want you
pestering them
I'm just watching
Monica called back
not doing any harm
do as you're told
her mother said firmly
and Monica slouched back
towards the farmhouse
cussing under her breath
kicking at the grass
as she went
I was only watching
she said to her mother's
disappearing back
then she paused
and looked back
at you and said
you don't mind do you?
no not at all
you said
but Jim said
pushing damp hair
from his sweaty face
go Monica
do as you're told
and she smiled at you
but gave Jim
a look
in passing
of sternness
and icy cold.

In the spirit of Rumi - 47 - A Confession of Love Withheld
Now with surprise and sadness, I have realised–
I do not love you as much as I thought…
When you are beside me
in the bed when I awake
I whisper with my waking breath
to your open or your sleeping eyes,
‘I love you’…and in that,
I find myself…
But when you are far away
my first involuntary waking thought
is not of you, or love, or God
Who guided me through the night,
Who taught me to enjoy
His great invention, sleep…
but of myself…
myself and world as two
and I am lost to myself…
and know, I have not yet
surrendered all my mind and will
to God…
O My Beloved
how can I love you fully, as God loves, when
I do not yet see God
in every waking moment
in myself?

Poetry is sexy
Engaging in its tease

Poetry is sexy
Laced with frilly rhymes
Poetry is sexy

Monica
Under a lamp light
Monica stands at midnight,
And every guy think he can buy her love,
But money cant buy sweet lovin from monica.
Morning to moonshine,
Monica knows every line.
Dont ever propose cause monica knows, you know.
Shell turn up her nose and say what a fool you are.
I, I shall die,
I, I shall die if I should lose monica.
(oh monica my love.)
People can try,
People can try, but they cant buy monica, my love.
You take the sunshine,
Ill take the nightly shadows.
cause everyone knows that monica glows at night.
Shell do something wrong and prove to you she is right.
I, I shall die,
I, I shall die if I should lose monica.
(oh monica my love.)
People may try,
People may try, but they cant buy monica, my love.
Morning to moonshine,
Monica knows every line.
Dont ever propose cause monica knows, you know.
Shell turn up her nose and say what a fool you are.
Monica.

Remembering Haiti
Imagine waking up from sleep
and be imprisoned by the heap
of rubbles and other falling debris!
Imagine waking up from sleep
and seeing your own home
swallowed by the open mouth of earth!
Imagine waking up from sleep
and knowing that your loved ones
cannot wake up from death!
Haiti, we lament with you!
We share your tears
as you try to rub your eyes
from the deep sleep of
loss, pain and sorrow!

Midnight Has Gone
Waking days...
Dawn.
Those waking days...
Come.
Those waking days...
Have arrived,
And...
Shines on minds the Sun.
Waking days...
Dawn.
Those waking days...
Come.
Those waking days...
Have arrived,
And...
Shines on minds the Sun.
Midnight has gone,
In awakening days.
To move away those obstacles fading
Midnight has gone,
In awakening days.
To chase away the darkness...
And,
A pain once felt that has moved on.
Waking days...
Dawn.
Those waking days...
Come.
Those waking days...
Have arrived,
And..
Shines only brightness from the Sun.

Laughter
They said they were sending two men
Two men not one
They would come,
Unnannouced
Into the place where you were living
The place where you were sleeping ad eating
The place where you were wasted time
And losing sleep and memories
The place where there was too much to do
And nothing to fill in the hours lost between
sleeping and eating and cleaning and waking
And taking back
And not taking
The things you had lost
The loves forsaking
The laughter
The days without speaking
The rooms full of weeping
Of not getting things done
A house full of fun
A place full of rest and unrest
Unwashed glasses
Silent protests in
Unpaid bills
They said they would come
Unnannouced
To your house
When you were ill
And too happy to know
That the laughter
Was the cause of it all
The cause of a fall
A high pitch screeching
A howling
A holler
They said Two men would come, not one,
When you were laughing and having such fun
When had stopped feeling rotten
Forgotten the plot
Left those dark looks aside
When you were out of control rolling about on the floor
Crying with laughter tears in your eyes
Two men would come
You would here them knock on your door
You would see them waiting outside through the glass
And when you asked them 'Why? '
Their swift reply would Be 'Just don't ask'
The they would take you away, no cup of tea
No polite tete,
The interrogation would begin
'Don't you know it's a crime, a sign of the times? '
And you will reply 'What? I was just havin a laugh'
Then a photograph and a finger print
Then a hand round your throat
And a sinister grin that will pass
It's on the tip if your tongue
'Why two men and not one? and where's your white coats? '

The innocence of any flesh sleeping
Sleeping beside you I dreamt
I woke beside you;
Waking beside you
I thought I was dreaming.
Have you ever slept beside an ocean?
Well yes,
It is like this.
The whole motion of landscapes, of oceans
Is within her.
She is
The innocence of any flesh sleeping,
So vulnerable
No protection is needed.
In such times
The heart opens,
Contains all there is,
There being no more than her.
In what country she is
I cannot tell.
But knowing – because there is love
And it blots out all demons –
She is safe,
I can turn,
Sleep well beside her.
Waking beside her I am dreaming.
Dreaming of such wakings
I am all love’s senses woken.

A Most Peculiar Man
He was A Most Peculiar Man.
That's what Mrs. Riordan said and she should know;
She lived upstairs from him
She said he was A Most Peculiar Man.
He was A Most Peculiar Man.
The lived all alone within a house,
Within a room, within himself,
A Most Peculiar Man.
He had no friends, he seldom spoke
And no one in turn ever spoke to him,
'Cause he wasn't friendly and he didn't care
And he wasn't like them.
Oh, no! he was A Most Peculiar Man.
He died last Saturday.
He turned on the gas and he went to sleep
With the windows closed so he'd never wake up
To his silent world and his tiny room;
And Mrs. Riordan says he has a brother somewhere
Who should be notified soon.
And all the people said, "What a shame that he's dead,
But wasn't he A Most Peculiar Man?

Sleep Forever
Down I lie
Sleeping all day
Still asleep for years
Surrounded by tears
Of friends, relations and further
But still sleep, sleep and sleep forever.
My eyes all closed extremely shut
My body is dry, straight and flat
As I lie in wooden house
Helpless like a dead mouse
Alone with no any other
As I sleep, sleep and sleep forever.
In my best black suit
My voice on mute
Waiting for the judgement
In a new environment
Coping with underground weather
As I sleep, sleep and sleep forever.
I've left all my worth
And ignored all my breath
Tell that I slept to each and every head
For that's a polite word to me as the dead
To come back I'll never
It's a sleep, sleep and sleep forever.

The sexy need not be sensuous.
A frigid or a barren woman
Is not that she is not sexy.
The one who looks sexy
May not be to feel sexy.
Yet she can entice, unaffected.
She is sexy but not crazy
A man’s sex in his eyes
And hence is often misled

Sleeping With The Numb
Waking only to feel nothing.
Just let me be.
Let me sleep so numb.
Pain is nonexistent in all extremities.
Time tics by and by.
and still nothing has changed.
still the same. who cares about that
guy who use live with the inflicted pain by
you over again and again.
hes just a stain and now its time to clean up.
waking to only feel nothing.
let me be. let me sleep so numb.
remember nothing. a nonexistent past.
house that burnt down and with it
all my memories accept for me being constantly numb.
A drug induce state should be one most kids celebrate.
but not this one. it was so fake.
Waking only to feel nothing.
let me be.
let me sleep so numb.
skin melts and still nothing,
i bleed and still nothing,
hit in the head and still nothing,
salt in the eyes and still absolutely nothing.
where are all the feelings
I'm so suppose to be feeling.
waking up only to feel nothing.
let me be.
let me sleep so oh so numb
