Catching Flower Petals

I could search this city at night with lamps
For a piece of clothing
You left behind with the fragrance of your perfume
And the lovely remnants of your lipstick kiss.

I would be in utter bliss
With my contemplations of your brown hair
Sweetly swaying in the summer breeze
And what it would mean to me
If you were close enough
So I could feel you breathe.

This life is so many flower petals
Falling to the sacred ground,
But I’m trying to catch every one of them
And bring them to you,
I want to place them at your sandaled feet,
Never doubt this simple poetry
Seeking to enter your soul.

Sacred Ground

Iced over, close your eyes. whisper the flame, it takes us higher.
Seems our world is closing around. when Im inside you, you bring me to sacred ground.
When Im inside you, you bring me to sacred ground.
Now youre the one that I want, you know its true.
Let go of everything, open up to me.
Im right beside you, Ill be your watchful eye.
I send waves of devotion over you. you take it all in and give it back, give it back again.
You bring me to sacred ground, when Im inside you.
You bring me to sacred ground.
Yes well love till theres nothing left to give...
Matching every movement, swimming in an ocean of sweat, and scent of you. it drives me to ...
You bring me to sacred ground, when Im inside you.
You bring me to sacred ground.
I know I can change your mind. give it to me the same way.
Giving it all up for love, I know that you feel the same way.
Id give it all up for you, I swear I would.
Now Im falling, falling inside ...
You bring me to sacred ground, when Im inside you.
You bring me to sacred ground.
Im inside you.
You bring me to sacred ground, when Im inside you.
You bring me to sacred ground.

Endless verse of a nameless flora:

A lonely lovely girl was Standing at her breeze filled balcony,
her adorable heart was admiring the quiet moon in harmony,
a golden yellowish nameless flower fell on her feet,
the sweet perfume of the fallen flower blended with that chill breeze,
while she tried to hold the flower the petals they fell one by one,
she was holding just the stalk that was left alone,
tear drops that escaped from her eyes fell one by one like the petals,
she was holding someone's sweet memories like the stalk.
The moon wished that her love should blend with her love like the perfume in the air.

Your Hair

Your hair, a city of chestnut brown
With locks resilient like hands, steady ambidextrous hands
And the chamomile bliss and breeze in the land,
Subtly sit like an orphaned child

Your hair, and the enticing air
Twisted and curled, devoured by a cicada
With pointed antenna beaming forward
Quantum leaps and celestial bodies reunited

Your hair, of soft and cozy feel
Buried me underneath the aroma
Of coffee-laced and inebriated mornings,
In the strands of the rays of the Sun,

Hanging by a thread,
Dwindling by the street lamps that flicker -
Ensconced in the premise of the night
And the eyes resembling a masked crescent moon

Then it should appear to me,
Like a fire and a name emblazoned on pavements
Talking like puppets and mannequins
With shunned eyes and stationary stances

Your hair, not that I know of -
The surreal and bizarre complex
Of the strands and locks that entwine
With fate and time, leaving me dismantled

I feel naked underneath your hair,
And over your lips, your lips of iridescence
My soul, lit like fireworks in high spirits
My oh my, do I wish to be buried underneath your hair

If I couldn't see you, like time eschewing the breath
Of sunshine's mouth, and the prying moon
Then I shall think of your hair and not your feet
For it is in your hair, have I found divine solace

And when I run my hands and caress thy chestnut brown
Of a hair so delighted by the chandeliers and lamps,
I feel my soul runaway in the impasse, the opaque tunnel
Your hair not of the arbitrator, not the trivial, but the certain

Your hair of enthralling fragrance and glowing with poise
Like stellar eyes in the dead azure, not resurrected
I long for your hair, and for your soul, like water flowing endlessly
And perhaps my love for you, on a mountainside streaming like a river.

Psychic Crimes

Too terribly alone
In this friendless place,
I wish we could meet
In the city rain
By the bakery
And the bus stop;
Without you,
I feel depressed
And insane.

It seems crazy,
But the last time
I saw you,
I swear, there were
Crushed roses
In the sunset.

I stood
In the lakeside breeze
Following fondly
How the wind
Would kiss and tease
Your brown hair;

And I remember
All the time we spent
In that lost dandelion summer
Of innocence,
We were falling in love
In the simplicity of youth.

In time,
Adulthood and failures,
Unkind words,
And spiritual adulteries,
Psychic crimes
Like tattoos
Impossible to remove.

In muted despair,
I silently search
For prayers
To reconnect my dreams
To my reality,

But there is only
This insufferable agony
Of not being the one
To make you smile
Or place a flower
In your heart…

Forever a lifetime
Of watching you walk away.

Her Beautiful Fragrance

Poems are my life
My feelings are not fake
I swear to god, I have loved her
However, she could never be mine.
Not even poetry can express how deeply I did love her
Still her beautiful complexion
Is everywhere in my poetry
Her beautiful fragrance, still I can breathe
Everywhere, I see her and feel
Never, have I ever been so close to her
Especially now when she is no more mine
I do not know anything
The perfume she applied, I still can feel
Poems are my life
She was a perfect poem and still I am trying to pen her into verses
These are verses of love as well pain
Forever, I will feel her
Even though she can never be mine
My sweet sugar I will describe her to be
Poems are my life and I do not know anything other than her
Her beautiful fragrance, I still breathe.

Thou Art a Flower

Thou art a flower, dear heart, a fragrant flower
And I, the wandering, hair-clad, amorous bee.
’Mongst all the regal beauties of the bower,
I seek but thee.

I feel the ivory of thy petals fair
Brush lightly on my belly as I woo
And I would sting thee, if I did but dare,
So sweet are you.

I suck the honey from your dewy bowl
And drunken mad, with wild, delirious bliss,
Within your cup, I yield to you my soul
And drink your kiss.

Oh! petals sweet, close in and crush me dead.
I am consumed in flames of passion’s fire.
What else is left, when this dear hour hath fled.
But dead desire?

The juice of poppy flowers and breath of rose,
Wistaria’s purple, blood-flecked lilies white,
I pilfer and when, soft, your petals close,
When comes the night.

I pour the passions of the world of flowers
Deep in beyond the lips of quivering red.
Your life is mine to craze the trembling hours,
All else is dead.

Deities of Destiny

I’ve spent so much time
Trying to catch a lonely dream
And visiting flower markets;
I’ve sat in the moonlight
And spoken to the tall girl
At the tea house in the river town.

I’ve got so much love to confess
On summer nights
When the breeze is swaying
The lilac trees,
The promises and sacred oaths I’ve made
While dancing to the radio and flickering candlelight.

There are simple plans
That make up a life,
The church bells and wedding chapels,
Her sweet perfume on my lapel.

My soul was pure when I saw her
And my eyes were opening
In an attempt to communicate
Something precious that could redeem
A thousand mistakes and psychic wounds
Down the despairing roads of yesterday.

I said a prayer beside her photograph
And went my way believing in the presence
Of powerful deities of destiny.

My Lovely Rose

I have a rose in the garden,
Unfolding red lovely petals,
With thorns surrounding it,
Could not touch and smell its fragrance.

I left the garden,
I left my lovely rose,
Far away yet so near,
Could not touch and smell its fragrance.

Time have passed,
Have seen again my rose,
Beautiful and sweetly scented at its full blossom,
Could not touch and smell its fragrance.

My rose is not mine anymore,
Yet I let my rose feel
Thy undoubting care and heart rejoicing,
Could glimpse again my lovely rose.

Little Brown-Haired Girl

I’m a wayward flower
Who has abandoned
His safe garden
To wander down
The concrete streets
Of the city.

When I find
The girl I love,
I will place myself
In the flower vase
Of her heart.

I believe
In the enchanted perfume
Of the feminine,
I’m seeking to embrace
A woman’s soul
In the pink afternoon.

Everything about me
Is a serenade
On a summery day
With a gentle breeze blowing
Beneath a soft shade.

I will call
A little brown-haired girl
An amazing goddess
As a thousand bouquets
Laugh and whisper her name.

I'm thinking of you every day,
And seeking meaning of you in everything,
When i close my eyes to sleep at night,
My soul start seeking you in your dream.

I am the flower from your dream,
That scent to you amazing fragrance,
I wrapped you with my charm and beauty,
And let you to enjoy me every dream you have it.

When my eyes are tired and closing for sleep,
My soul awakes in me and seeking your soul in everything,
In the darkness of life you are my hope and happiness,
When do you sleep my soul lives with you in your dream.

My soul found you in your dream,
And dancing tenderly your soul,
A lovely love story of two souls,

turning the whole Ground floats in the
harmony of tunes settle down in the
vantage of songs

the trigger stumble, clicking the
pointless aim for a nice shoot loaded
with a beautiful sight in the middle of
the heart, like sponges of perfume,
offered a simple catch in the middle of
the night, the choir of the eye and say I
do desire

find me in the color of the powder
and smell me in the rifle of flower, for
what ever it goes that beautiful star in
the sky will always remind you where
the night is so bright in your lovely

search and love the lullaby of the
Victory of your smile, the gun smokes
the flower until the end of time ……

Laura Lee and Her Rose

My name is Laura Lee
And I enjoy spending my time
Playing in the sunlight
With my little Rose,
The daughter of my dreams,
She came to me
As welcome as a lilac breeze
Four years ago when I was twenty.

I’m married to her father
Who is seven years older than me,
I was a young girl
And he was tall and handsome,
His words were sweet
Like tree-ripened summer fruit
And he made me feel loved
Like I never felt before.

When Rose was born,
The love that was inside of me
Was like a small seed taking form,
Blossoming into flower and soul,
Transforming me into mother
And no longer a little girl,
She was the petals of my heart.

But the father of my Rose
No longer appreciated the garden
From which his flower sprung,
The mother that gave him
Such a lovely fragrance
That will linger long into the world
With his same blue eyes,
He no longer kissed me tenderly like before,
I felt rejected and despised.

Rose’s father began offering
His sun-sweetened words to other girls
Even younger than me,
Staying out late into the night
Roaming the city streets
Seeking superficial pleasures
Instead of tending his garden and his flower.

My heart broke like delicate chinaware,
I wept in a world without rainbows,
The man that gave me love
Now treated me harshly and unkind;
I know, I’ll have to leave him
And find all my hope
In the flower that came from me
And the flower that will always be in me.

My Mothers Hair

One of your hairs fell out last night:
A piece of your life was gone without a sound.
I know a difficult day is coming,
My heart, pierced, utters a quiet cry.

Let my childhood smile again in the sun
And turn me into an innocent little head louse
So I can crawl through the jungle of your hair
And sing a song of darkness in its fragrance.

Under your fingernail-roof Ill sleep in my house;
In my black dream Ill water your black trees.
Ill pick black fruits, and hair-jungle bees
Will bring me black poems to be opened.

How will I live, without your hair?
How will I breathe, without its fragrance?
How will I survive, when I am discovered
By ghosts of wooden combs combing your hair?

Let me wear shows made of dawn-flowers
And crawl without a sound into your sleep.
Ill take the place of the hair that's gone
And sing of hair-clouds flying from night to day.

One summer when the wind was strong

This is the place, now we are here again

I remember that summer when the wind was strong
And everything around us was dry,

The acacia trees towered and showered us with
Round leaves falling and falling and falling

Some birds were there and they flew away
Some cars were there and they speeded away

It was getting dark and it was a dry summer
We stayed there for a while when the leaves fell

Then we went under the trees not seeking shelter
But to catch those leaves falling and falling and falling

We are trying to feel again what falling was
We are here on this summer, we see the leaves

Falling and falling again to the dry wind,
We try to recall about us, but there is simply

Nothing about us anymore, but just the same
The leaves fall and fall and fall, we see them reenacting

There is that meaning; there it is in the falling
But we have outgrown it, we look for more, we hope

We can find some more, something beyond us.

Fallen Petals

for one thing i do not know the name
of this sea flower falling from a very lushy
tree whose leaves reach to the sands
as though kissing salt and silence

it is a big flower with pink lines
following the sides
the stamens are long and
scented like a woman with perfume
on her hair

alone in the night she walks
towards a cave
of cascading desire and there
he is waiting naked

the flowers keep on falling
the petals crushed
the night is silent
and well scented

the shadows fuse and then
they were lost in total darkness

The Rose

This immortal rose that lovers seek
will be glimpsed by all in youthful peak
for her presence will be on every corner.

And those who confuse that heady perfume
with a lust for love,
will only find winter in an unknown heart
for beauty was always a fragile thing.

We who have seen this gift from above
will always get burned by its light.
The poet and the painter
have perfumed our existence
with loves testimony to this.

The pain and tears fall on empty shield
for love will break your heart
but when we reach out to hold the rose
picked from these fields of hope,
a moment in life unfurls,
love will kiss your soul
and the world belongs to you.

Fleeting are the petals of time
the rose is a symbol to love.
For others it is the pain of life,
to find and lose this immortal gift
leaves a desert where life cannot breathe.

The laughter replaced by silence
the smile that is kept in darkness,
the kiss exiled to the memory.

Love is lost in the deepest pit
of your despair,
the thorns will bleed your soul red
but she can never die.

Love will always leave a spark
that will lead you to redemption
and only death can take this from you.

The rose was never yours to pick
but its creation yours to admire
for your being was made for this.

And as our mortal bodies die
the spirit will seek the rose once more
for in death its petals fall too
blessing the ground of your resting place.

The rose was always yours
and its beauty a source of life
the chains of doubt will always
break in its presence.

The rose is pure
as is your faith in mankind.
It can show you a deeper meaning
for you are the petals of life
she is the perfume of your existence
and it is you that made her life complete.

Soul Kiss

Kiss... soul kiss...
If you wanna talk and you wanna laugh a while
Or you just want silence and a smile
If you wanna walk or just float along the nile
If you wanna turn the day into something kind of night
All you have to do is breathe with your lips close to mine
Oh. baby. thats the kinda love weve got
We dont have to look too far to try to find a love that night
Soul kiss where love cant miss
We found a way to hold on to the wonders of a
Soul kiss kind of bliss
That finds its way straight into the one you love
If you wanna cry or just listen to your sighs
Theres no judgement in these eyes
Boy. if you wanna fly or maybe settle in versailles
We could just order pizza an roll around and start a fire
All you have to do is breathe with your lips close to mine
Oh. baby. thats the kinda love weve got
We dont even have to stop to check the clock were so on time
Soul kiss where love cant miss
We found a way to hold on to the wonders of a
Soul kiss kind of bliss
That finds its way straight into the one you love
Baby... soul kiss...
Kiss... soul kiss...
Hey, come on...
Soul kiss where love cant miss
We found a way to hold on to the wonders of a
Soul kiss kind of bliss
That finds its way straight into the one you love
Kiss... kiss me... the soul kiss... straight into the one you love
If you wanna walk.. if you wanna talk... if you wanna fly... if you wanna cry
Kiss... come on... gimme a little soul kiss...

Still Im Sad

Version 1 (from stranger in us all)
See the stars come fallin down the sky
Gently passing, they kiss your tear drops dry
See the wind come, softly blow
Your hair from your face
And the rain comes falling down
In its crazy way
Still Im sad
For myself my tears just fall in the dust
As I search in the night and find theyre lost
See the wind come gently blow
Time into my heart
And the rain comes falling down
While were apart
Still Im sad
Version 2 (yardbirds version? )
See the stars come joining down from the skies
Gently passing they kiss your tears when you cry
See the wind of summer blow your hair upon your head
See the rain, the falling rain, its rain
Still Im sad
Oh my flowers, my tears are falling two days
They are driving the night profound, they are lost
Flower, flower the wind is blowing
Time into my heart
When the wind blows hard, we are apart
Still Im sad
Oh, oh, oh, oh, still Im sad
Oh, oh, oh, oh, how Im sad

Love Sonnet XV

Love, you have brought to me my perfect soul,
More sweet than earthly things, more precious rare,
Hiding its fragrance in my loosened hair
And folding up my body like a scroll.
O, lie with me all night, and let the roll
Of Rapture’s waves wash over us, as, bare
Of anything save Love, we haply share
The joys of our first parents’ chaste control.

My Love, my piece of Heaven God has spilled
Upon my outstretched hands, O, kiss me yet.
Here, lying close to you, I feel—I know,
My being, even now, is charged and filled
With light and bliss it never will forget
Though aeons over my cold corpse should flow.
