Satisfaction
My two grandchildren
both girls
always on my nerves
with their smart little pranks
asked me to accompany
to a fair nearby
I promised but as a standby.
Their mother gave a call
all of us zoomed to a big mall
saw a set of Barbie dolls
as lively as present day gals
trance-fixed
girls did not budge an inch
till their wish was not fulfilled.
Girls were happy
with great expectations they laughed & giggled
became chirpy and sizzled
their mother too
pride writ large on her face
as Barbies had cost
only rupees two thousand and fifty-two.
Back home Girls’ imagination ran riot
thinking of their buddies
walking, talking & singing Barbies
they wanted to play
but to their dismay
Barbies were showcased
for display.
Out of their reach
theirs, yet not theirs
saw their hopes sink
remembered ST Colridge*
“ water water every where, not a dropp to drink”
they could not express
their anger, anguish and distress.
Sensing their shock
least to say
took them to fair same day
they cuckooed with glee
had lot of rides for free
at their back & call
procured various small cute cottage dolls
Just for rupees fifty-three.
Sparkling eyes
smile on their faces
bringing home
the dumb & mute bounty of their own
with those they could play, walk, sing, talk and relate
and to their friends these could be shown and partake
enjoying their own world of make believe when they can
better than
watching barbies themselves like a dumb and mute
merely listening only two words, “ how nice? how cute”
physical holding of dolls made all the difference
they became alive, agile, innovative and I must say
joy on their faces
made my day.
(This poem is dedicated to all grils below 6 years including my grandchildren Yona & Sia./19-06-2011/Samuel Taylor Coleridge*)

California Girls
Well east coast girls are hip
I really dig those styles they wear
And the southern girls with the way they talk
They knock me out when Im down there
The mid-west farmers daughters really make you feel alright
And the northern girls with the way they kiss
They keep their boyfriends warm at night
I wish they all could be california
I wish they all could be california
I wish they all could be california girls
The west coast has the sunshine
And the girls all get so tanned
I dig a french bikini on hawaii island
Dolls by a palm tree in the sand
I been all around this great big world
And I seen all kinds of girls
Yeah, but I couldnt wait to get back in the states
Back to the cutest girls in the world
I wish they all could be california
I wish they all could be california
I wish they all could be california girls
I wish they all could be california
(girls, girls, girls yeah I dig the)
I wish they all could be california

I wish they all could be california

Valley Of The Dolls
Into the valley of the dolls
Into the valley of the dolls
Into the valley of the dolls
Went the gang of four
Song number one and the rhythm up amping
Drummer beats down 4/4 rock ranking
A bass so deep thud thud spines shaking
And all around mad eyes are rolling
Made up and stunning
As the feet get moving
As the pressure rising
White faces staring
As into the valley of the dolls
- go the gang of four
Song after song rockettes up rocking
One hundred watts scream man
My ears are bleedin
Hot bodies charged blonde locks a givin
And all around - young girls are fainting
Their hearts a pumpin
As the spikes are dancing
Shank girl shanking
I saw love vibrating
As into the valley of the dolls
- go the gallant four
Into the valley of the dolls
Into the valley of the dolls
As into the valley of the dolls
4 skulls are splitting
5 fingers are clicking
6 strings are burning
7th hour approaching
8 legs are stomping
9 lives are groovin
10 thousand coasting
X generating
As into the valley of the dolls
Into the valley of the dolls
Into the valley
Into the valley of the dolls

Girls
all I really want is girls
And in the morning it's girls
Cause in the evening it's girls
I like the way that they walk
And it's a thrill to hear them talk
And I can always make them smile
From my Castle to the Nile
Back in the day
There was this girl who got away
She liked by home-piece M.C.A.
He said he would not give her play
I asked him

Boys & Girls
Boys and girls come out to play, playing till theyre old and grey
Time to leave the old school suit, grown ups can be real cute
Do you think theyre wiser than in the past
How long do you think its gonna last
I dont have to prove to you adults can be kidding too
Boys and girls I love you dearly
But I hate to have you near me
Boys and girls - ahh
Boys and girls - ahh
Boys and girls - ahh
Boys and girls stay home today
Think theyre more mature that way
Secret friends can soon be found
Indiscretions underground
Maybe growing up can seem more graceful
If they make their style become more tasteful
With your looks you could go far
But better watch the calendar-iahhh
(the sound of a church wedding)
Boys and girls I love you dearly
But I hate to have you near me
Boys and girls - ahh
Boys and girls - ahh
Boys and girls - ahh
Boys and girls I love you dearly
But I hate to have you near me

Girls On Film (Night Version)
See them walking hand in hand
Across the bridge at midnight
Heads turning as the lights flashing out
Are so bright
And walk right out to the four line track
There's a camera rolling on her back
On her back
And I sense a rhythm humming in a frenzy
All the way down her spine
Girls on Film
Girls on Film
Girls on Film
Girls on Film
Lipstick cherry all over the lens as she's falling
And miles of sharp blue water coming in
Where she lies
The diving man's coming up for air
'Cause the crowd all love pulling Dolly by the hair
By the hair
And she wonders how she ever got here
As she goes under again
Girls on Film (Two minutes later)
Girls on Film
Girls on Film (Got your picture)
Girls on Film
Wider, baby, smile and you've just made a million
Fuses pumping live heat twisting out on a wire
Take one last glimpse into the night
I'm touching close
I'm holding bright, holding tight
Give me shudders in a whisper,
Take me up til I'm shooting a star

Girls Talk
There are some things you cant cover up
With lipstick and powder
I thought I heard you mention my name
Cant you talk any louder
Dont come any closer dont come any nearer
My vision of you cant get any clearer
Oh I wanna hear girls talk
I got a loaded imagination
Being fired by girls talk
Oh but I cant say what you want to hear
I suppose were gonna have to play it by ear
Right here and now
Girls talk and they want to know how
Girls talk and they say its not allowed
Girls talk if they say that its so
Dont you think that I know by now
That they word upon everyones lips
That your dedicated
Although you may be an old fashioned girl
Your still gonna get dated
Ah was it really murder
Were you just pretending
Lately I have heard you are the living end
Girls talk and they want to know about her
Girls talk they want to know if I care
Girls talk and they want to know where
I just want to hear girls talk
I gotta loaded imagination
Being fired by girls talk
Oh but I cant say what you want to hear
I suppose were gonna have to play it by ear
Right here and now
Girls talk and they want to know how
Girls talk and they say its not allowed
Girls talk
Girls talk and they want to know about her
You know they want to know where
Wanna know if I care
I said girls talk

Girls Get The Bass In The Back (feat. Bounty Killer) (Hey Baby Remix)
Hey baby, baby (4x)
All the boys say
Hey, hey... (2x)
All the boys say (3x)
Hey, hey... (2x)
Hey baby, hey baby, hey
Hey baby, hey baby, hey
I'm the kind of girl
That hangs with the guys
Like a fly in the wall
With my secret eyes
Taking it in
Try to be feminine
With my make-up bag
Watching all the sin
Misfit, I sit
Lit up, wicked
Everybody is surrounded by the girls
With the tank tops and the flirty words
I'm just sipping on chamomile
I'm watching boys and girls and their sex appeal
With a stranger in my face who says he knows my mom
And went to my high school
All the boys say
Hey baby, hey baby
Girls say, girls say
Hey baby, baby
All the boys say
Hey baby, hey baby
Girls say, girls say
Hey baby, baby
Hey baby, hey baby, hey
Girls say, girls say
Hey baby, hey baby, hey
Hey baby, baby
Hey baby, hey baby, hey
Boys say, boys say
Hey baby, hey baby, hey
All the boys get the girls in the back
I'm the one they feed upon
Give a bit a star is born
And if you have enough you'll get the pass
And you can tell your friends how you made it back
No matter what they say I'm still the same
Somehow everybody knows my name
And all the girls wanna get with the boys
And the boys really like it
All the boys say
Hey baby, hey baby
Girls say, girls say
Hey baby, baby
All the boys say
Hey baby, hey baby
Girls say, girls say
Hey baby, baby
hey, hey... (4x)
All the boys say (3x)
Hey baby, hey baby, hey
Girls say, girls say
Hey baby, hey baby, hey
Hey baby, baby
Hey baby, hey baby, hey
Boys say, boys say
Hey baby, hey baby, hey
All the boys get the girls in the back
Jum, jum, jum, jum
Jump on the stage
Jump
Jump on the stage
Jump
Jump on the stage cause we going crazy
Afterward myself and one of them gorgeous ladies
There is no need to be actin' shady
C'mon baby, hey, hey baby
When you rock your hips you know that it amazes me
Got me off the hook and nutting else don't phase me
Can you be my one and only sunshine lady
If no, maybe, hey baby
Hey, hey... (4x)
I'm just sipping on chamomile
I'm watching boys and girls and their sex appeal

Girls Just Wanna Have Fun
I come home in the morning light
My mother says when you gonna live your life right
Oh mother dear we're not the fortunate ones
And girls just want to have fun
Oh girls just want to have fun
The phone rings in the middle of the night
My father yells what you gonna do with your life
Oh daddy dear you know you're still number one
But girls they want to have fun
Oh girls just want to have--
That's all they really want
Some fun
When the working day is done
Girls-- they want to have fun
Oh girls just want to have fun
Some boys take a beautiful girl
And hide her away from the rest of the world
I want to be the one to walk in the sun
Oh girls they want to have fun
Oh girls just want to have
That's all they really want
Some fun
When the working day is done
Girls--they want to have fun
Oh girls just want to have fun,
They want to have fun,
They want to have fun...

Some want to sink your boat
Girls- sweet sweet girls
Make you break you girls dont care
Wake you shake you get you there
Some girls like to play it cool

Girls Want To Be With Girls
The girls don't want to play like that,
They just want to talk to the boys.
The just want to do what is in their hearts,
And the girls want to be with the girls.
(CHORUS)
And the boys say, "What do you mean?"
And the boys say, "What do you mean?"
Well there is just no love,
When there's boys and girls.
And the girls want to be with the girls,
And the girls want to be with the girls.
Girls want things that make common sense,
The best for all concerned.
They don't want to have to go out of their way,
And the girls want to be with the girls.
(CHORUS)
And the boys say, "What do you mean?"
And the boys say, "What do you mean?"
Well there is just no love,
When there's boys and girls.
And the girls want to be with the girls,
And the girls want to be with the girls.
Girls are getting into abstract analysis,
They want to make intuitive leap.
They are making plans that have far reaching effects.
And the girls want to be with the girls.
(CHORUS)
And the boys say, "What do you mean?"
And the boys say, "What do you mean?"
Well there is just no love,
When there's boys and girls.
And the girls want to be with the girls.
And the girls want to be with the girls.

Girls
If I said I do not like girls, then that would be a lie
How can I not like girls?
So beautiful and graceful they are
Yes, sometimes I have turned to be angry with them
However, it is only girls, who can rule this world
Girls are great
Great and amazing
Also, the most wanted
I like girls, because they can make a guy, complete
Love of girls, is the best
They can make lot of difference
Girls are the BEST.

Female Rights
(10/5/12)
In olden days girls had to be prepared by age eight
Learning to cook, sew, and clean house
And prepare herself for a spouse.
The only dolls that these girls knew
Was put together by straw and glue.
Then with time things did change
Dolls were made for every age.
But mans ideas stayed the same
The females still did not have any rights
But yet they was taught to fight.
Centuries have passed since that time
And yet some things remain the same
In the middle east and parts of Asia
The female rights are still in danger.
But the sexual and physical abuse
Is all over the world, and it affects
Our boys and girls.
I think it's time for the public
To stand up and fight
For the children and women s rights.

Good Girls
(honest john plain)
Its cold outside - it looks like rain
To make matters worse, I missed me last train
Now I was thinking shed show me a bed
To my surprise got shown the door instead
Whoa-oh where have all the good girls gone?
Whoa-oh where have all the good girls gone?
She said she wants a fella with a gti
Always home on time, steak and kidney pie
She made it quite pretty, it was plain to see
Theres no place here for a rocker like me
Whoa-oh where have all the good girls gone?
Whoa-oh where have all the good girls gone?
Girls like peggy-sue, maggie-may and sheena too
Where have all the good girls gone?
Girls like my dear old mum, who never stopped me having fun
Where have all the good girls gone?
Whoa-oh where have all the good girls gone?
Whoa-oh where have all the good girls gone?
Whereve they gone?
Where have all the good (3) girls gone? (2)
So she throws me out in the pouring rain
Girls like that give girls a bad name
Why cant I find a girl just like betty d.
With an hourglass figure like norma jean
Whoa-oh where have all the good girls gone?
Whoa-oh where have all the good girls gone?
Whoa-oh where have all the good girls gone?
Where ve they gone?
