Come with Me
He knocked at my
Mind's door and said
'What do you think if I ask
You to come with me? '
What a great fortune it is
The Creator's invitation
I had no answer but to follow
Without any hesitation...
It's always a good practice
To leave nothing incomplete
And be able to get a release
Simply at a short notice.

You Have Not Knocked
You've never not...
Come to knock.
Come to knock,
At my door...
With words 'I told you so! '
You've never not...
Come to knock.
Come to knock,
At my door...
With words 'I told you so! '
When I had been in double struggles,
You have not knocked.
Or when I had been on my knees,
You have not knocked.
And when I felt grumpy and crunchy,
You have not knocked.
Or when I've asked you to leave me,
You have not knocked.
You know I can get really moody,
But, you have not knocked.
And carry drama to extremes,
No, you have not knocked.
You've stuck with me when I've been stinky,
And, you have not knocked.
To me you are my 'everything',
And I love you a lot.
You've never not...
Come to knock.
Come to knock,
At my door...
With words 'I told you so! '
You've never not...
Come to knock.
Come to knock,
At my door...
With words 'I told you so! '
Whenever I've been down and dumpy,
You have not knocked.
Or when I've picked my wounds to bleed so,
You have not knocked.
And when I pout with rudeness rooted,
You have not knocked.
Or when I whined consistently,
No, you have not knocked.
You know I can get really moody,
But, you have not knocked.
And carry drama to extremes,
But, you have not knocked.
You've stuck with me when I've been stinky,
And, you have not knocked.
To me you are my 'everything',
Because of patience you've got.
You've never not...
Come to knock.
Come to knock,
At my door...
With words 'I told you so! '
You've never not...
Come to knock.
Come to knock,
At my door...
With words 'I told you so! '
And...
In my heart you are adored.
That's what I need to show you more.

Here, Here My Dear
we honestly did not intend to build a palace in the sky
you must understand our disappointments and sorrows
that is why we are playing with our hands on the sands of time
we do not intend to challenge the waters on the shore
we do not mind if everything we built is erased by it
we are merely squandering time because we have nothing meaningful to do anymore
we cannot simply delet ourselves like some innocuous words in the
sentence
we have no power to simply burst like a balloon release ourselves as air and leave the empty rubber on the ground
we have codes in our bones some inscriptions on our skins
the instructions are vague and incomplete that is why we are being held here with the caprices of too much waiting
come join us let us play on the sands of time let us swim on the
shallow seas of our usual existences
it is not fun really but it can be if we think it to be
it is all in the mind it is beautified by the heart

The Wishing-Caps
Life's all getting and giving,
I've only myself to give.
What shall I do for a living?
I've only one life to live.
End it? I'll not find another.
Spend it? But how shall I best?
Sure the wise plan is to live like a man
And Luck may look after the rest!
Largesse! Largesse, Fortune!
Give or hold at your will.
If I've no care for Fortune,
Fortune must follow me still.
Bad Luck, she is never a lady
But the commonest wench on the street,
Shuffling, shabby and shady,
Shameless to pass or meet.
Walk with her once--it's a weakness!
Talk to her twice. It's a crime!
Thrust her away when she gives you "good day"
And the besom won't board you next time.
Largesse! Largesse, Fortune!
What is Your Ladyship's mood?
If I have no care for Fortune,
My Fortune is bound to be good!
Good Luck she is never a lady
But the cursedest quean alive!
Tricksy, wincing and jady,
Kittle to lead or drive.
Greet her--she's hailing a stranger!
Meet her--she's busking to leave.
Let her alone for a shrew to the bone,
And the hussy comes plucking your sleeve!
Largesse! Largesse, Fortune!
I'll neither follow nor flee.
If I don't run after Fortune,
Fortune must run after me!

Age of Innocence
We dismiss
The backroads
And ride these streets
Unafraid
Resort to
Scraping pain
From our bones
Unashamed
No more the eye upon you
No more the simple bane
Desolation yes
Hesitation no
Desolation yes
Hesitation no
As you might have guessed
All is never shown
Desolation yes
Hesitation no
And in my prayer
I dream alone
A silent speach
To deaf ears
If you want be love
You must be love
But if bleed love
You will die love
No more the eye upon you
Catch me starving out of shame
Desolation yes
Hesitation no
Desolation yes
Hesitation no
As you might have sensed
We won't make it home
Desolation yes
Hesitation no
But for the rites of spring
Come to mean all things
A little taste of what may come
A meer glimpse of what has gone
Cause for the moment we are free
We to find our release
Too young to die

Not Knocked Up
Knocked from a spot on top.
But not knocked up!
Or out of the loop.
I have my genes to thank for that.
Otherwise,
It would be obvious...
I was such a whore of words.
And happy not to be impregnated,
By every impression that came to lay...
Just for a 'quickie' to then leave!
To have me left desiring,
The same thing repeated...
Over and over again!
And I can't be loyal to just one expression.
Or addicted to the fit of it.
Variety is the spice of life.
And I like to switch it up!
And 'hopefully' will continue to practice,
Safe and satisfying mental deliveries.

All It Takes isTime
time tells story's
long and short
some of great measure
some the fade away
who ever said
you won't be important
you could be whoever
but it takes time
time is full of hello's
and full of good-bye's
don't let one rule you
you need both this you'll see
you will be strong
you will stand tall
some will be knocked down
but others will withstand the fight
I know it all seems silly
I thought so too
but it's true
it took me a while to see
a good life has ups and downs
has hello's and good-bye's
has gained a love
and has been broken hearted
but through the fires
is a light for you
whatever you've been through
it will matter no more
so be brave
in time you'll see
you were meant
to be as great as can be
sure others may try
to knock you down
but that's when you stand tall
and be all you can be
what's life if you don't try
in time you'll know the truth
like they say
'when one door closes...'
who am I to tell you this
but who are you not to listen
you will find your way
all it takes is time.

Little Birdie
Verse1:
No little birdie came and sat upon my shoulder
Sayin girl youre gonna to marry this guy
Nobody told me what I was supposed to look for
When I looked and saw the love in your eyes
And no one answered when I said the prayer before
No one even knocked at the door
til there was you
til there was you
Chorus:
Stopped crying the blues
When he broke the news
And said that he loved me
No prayers in the night
Dont know wrong from right
When he said that he loved me
Verse2:
No premonition didnt know what I was missin
Until my lover came and showed me the sun
No fortune teller read it in my palm or in my eyes
And I never believed in just one
And no one answered when I said the prayer before
No one even knocked at the door
til there was you
til there was you
Chorus
Bridge:
I know its all too soon to tell
But I say baby, what the hell!
My mind cant help but spinnin round
Thinkin about the love I found
Swing out...

The Door Is Always Open
The door is always open,
there is a welcome
always in here,
so come on in at anytime
and we will raise a cup of good cheer.
The world can go on its merry way,
just pull a chair up by the fire
and warm yourself a bit.
There door is always open,
there is a welcome mat
and a friendly face
will always greet you
at anytime night or day.
As the door is always open,
you can come in anytime.
You will never leave hungry
as something is cooking
all the time.
So take up my invitation
and just come on in.
The door is always open
to welcome you.

On The Line
J. spinks
You keep telling me everythings gonna be cool tonight
But I keep thinking that you might be going outta
Your mind
Its a perfect little invitation
But I gotta lot of reservations
So leave a message on the line for me
Girl you know Im gonna need a sign
And if you wanna take a ride with me
Better call me up - leave a message on the line
You keep telling me he dont got a clue
About anything
But I keep thinking that he knows its going on
All right
I guess Ive got a lot of hesitation
Im gonna give it some investigation
(chorus)
I keep thinkin that Im gonna need a rocket
Just to calm me down
But you keep telling me everythings gonna be fine
I dont wann be your service station
You could always get a good vibration
(chorus)

On Somethings Unclear, Occluded, Clouded
what i tell you sometimes are clouded,
hazy, misty, something that you receive and always pregnant with
the other coming questions
which of course,
i cannot answer, by their very nature, i am telling you only what
i have seen, not even what i have heard from them
hearsay (i just suppress them, folding them like shirts
and blankets in my cabinet) but
i am telling you the truth
and your face moves sidewise more often in disbelief
how can such a man like me be so foolish talking nonsense
(on something always so incomplete
and impenetrable) , occluded, shrouded sometimes in mystery
our minds unable to cope up
our hands simply of no use
because we cannot touch them
our eyes too
unable to see, our sense of smell
in utter futility
i am not stupid, honey, some things by their very own nature
are incomplete, shrouded, mysterious,
and cannot be relayed by words, not even by thoughts
simply because they are
and we can do nothing about it, except
to see, and just be silent
because they are divine

And If I Am A Mediocrity?
AND IF I AM A MEDIOCRITY?
And if I am a mediocrity?
And what I have written is not worthy of remembrance?
And if I belong to the great mass of those not good enough?
And if all I have done disappears as if it never were?
And I also?
Should I blame myself
Or simply say God made me not good enough?
Should I feel sad and a failure
Or simply resign myself to what is the case?
Should I protest in anger
Or simply go on meeting the obligations of my life
As best I can?
I know the answer.
Being the best person I can
Especially to those closest to me
Is what is most important.
Mediocre or not as a writer
I must try to be a decent human being-
This is what the service of God really means-
And this is what all of us can try to do,
Wherever we are in the world of work and accomplishment.

I've Come to Notice More Now
I've come to notice more now,
The falling snow.
I've come to notice more now,
A certain purpose...
I had disavowed.
I've come to notice more now,
The core of my being with more meaning.
A joy I can express...
With less emphasis on things collected.
And a happiness I always had,
But somehow did not allow.
I've come to notice more now,
I can.
I've come to notice more now,
I will!
I've come to notice more now,
My needs are basically fulfilled.
Without desire to seek approval,
Sought to identify my peace of mind!
I've come to notice more now,
Thoughts like that I have left behind.
And notice, I do...
My blessings!

Hi... Bye...
hi
one syllable,
two letters, it makes the difference
of being here and
you being there,
hi
and i say hi too to you
crisp, too short, reserved,
as we both wonder what next to say
what is the possibility of
another letter, or word, or perhaps
an incomplete sentence will do the trick
of what that rest must follow...
hi.... and i fall short of meaning and i write...
bye.
three letters
one syllable, sad and
indifferent
it could have asked for some more
but you know
it cannot.....

Success
We used to go out walkin hand in hand
You told me all the big things you had planned
It wasnt long till all your dreams came true
Success put me in second place with you
You have no time to love me anymore
Since fame & fortune knocked upon our door
I spend all my evenings all alone
Success has made a failure of our home
If we could spend an evening now & then
Perhaps wed find true happiness again
You never hold me like you used to do
Its funny what success has done for you
You have no time to love me anymore
Since fame & fortune knocked upon our door
I spend all my evenings all alone
Success has made a failure of our home

A rigid stand
You can’t experience certain things unless you strive
It remains dead process unless you revive
It might ahve beeen delayed because of rigid stand
It is altogether unwarranted and diffreant trend
Nothing can go right as per simple logic
It has sound reasons with good basic
You got to compromise on certain aspects
It draws you in success with respect
It can lead you no where if you have only one composition
You got to deviate from your stated position
It is no good to follow rigid and uncompromised attitude
It may send you in isolation and solitude
You must come to the terms for solution
It is good to have principle and resolution
It can’t work in all the conditions
This forces you to believe in superstitions
It may not harm you in any way
It will not take you far away
You mayhave clear insight to follow the trend
It will definitely have some logical end
Try to act in uncompromised manner
This can be understood by even beginner
There is certain level where you must leave
It wise to follow correctly and believe
You may be appreciated for principled approach
Privately they may may condemn move as such
They will critcise it as unpracticable and rigid
It may offer no solution or offer you any lead
It has helped nobody
It has landed in trouble everybody
People may secretly laugh at your reversal
You may not withdraw and ask any addressal
It is good to follow
But in practice it doesn’t allow
It must have practical answer
This can be understood only by fewer

You're So Foxy
you caught my fall makeing out on alcohol
An innocent mistake
Falling in love on accident,i didn't mean to
constant danger,constant stranger
it started out so sweet
and know we're both feel'in incomplete
i don't know how much i can take
we're on we're off
we're knocked down and getting up
we try to fight it,the agony and ecstacy
and it's painful but it's worth it
'cause you're so foxy and i think you're kinda good for me
you're so foxy
mental earthquakes,conversation mistakes
my army of words
i can't believe you're crawling back for more out of disire
destiny or chemicals,emotions are susceptable
and you can't resist
i can't seem to walk away from this
so show me how much you can take, are you in or out?
you're knocked down and getting up
you kinda like it,all the agony and ecstasy
and it's painful,i'm sorry
but you're so foxy i can't let you get away from me
'cause you're so foxy
so get out of my way i'm feeling so in love today
it can't be understood
and when i'm feeling good it's really good
the kinda good that feels like fate
we're back and forth
we're knocked down and getting up
we try to fight it,the agony and ecstacy
and it's painful but it's you're fault
'cause you're so foxy and you got yourself all over me
you're so foxy
And i can't take it ,it's hard to take it
i can't take it
it's painful but it's worth it
'cause you're so foxy
i think your kinda good for me

Good Things!
It's never too late to do good things...
When those good things come,
To be done!
It should never be a decision made,
Whether to show gratitute...
Whenever an attitude,
Is moody when it comes.
Do it...
No one loses!
It's never too late to show someone there,
You think of them just because you care.
Thinking they will know what it is you feel...
Does little for the one,
Who believes no one is aware...
With feelings that are real.
'How could they,
When they aren't there shown or spoken? '
And it's always a good sign...
To release and let things go!
When doubt is removed,
And your mind has approved
The doing is true and it can be proposed.
Hesitation for you will seldom come to show!
Knowing for you that good is in the doing,
And pursuing it from head to toe...
Has you moving.,
Reaping as you sow.
It's never too late to do good things...
When those good things come,
To be done!
Always contemplate good things,
And good things you did...
Makes those good things done grow!

Dead Mans Party
Im all dressed up with nowhere to go
Walkin with a dead man over my shoulder
Waiting for an invitation to arrive
Goin to a party where no ones still alive
Chorus
I was struck by lighting
Walkin down the street
I was hit by something last night in my sleep
Its a dead mans party
Who could ask for more
Everybodys comin, leave your body at the door
Leave your body and soul at the door . . .
(dont run away its only me)
All dressed up with nowhere to go
Walkin with a dead man
Waitin for an invitation to arrive
With a dead man . . . dead man . . .
Got my best suit and my tie
Shiny silver dollar on either eye
I hear the chauffeur comin to the door
Says theres room for maybe just one more . . .
Chorus
Dont run away its only me
Dont be afraid of what you cant see
Dont run away its only me . . .

Practice Every Step
Practice every step.
Do not second guess what it takes.
Practice every step.
Practice every step.
There's no sleeping for someone who has a place to go,
So...
Practice every step.
Practice every step.
Focus on that goal,
And tighten on your hold,
And...
Practice every step.
Practice every step.
Practice every step.
Do not second guess what it takes.
Practice every step.
Practice every step.
Every journey taken,
Must be thought of as a race...
And,
Practice every step.
Practice every step.
There's no other way to straighten out a crooked road,
So...
Practice every step.
Practice every step.
No matter what you're told,
There will be some doubts and woes...
But you,
Practice every step.
Yes you,
Practice every step.
Woes you hold will eventually go,
So...
Practice every step.
Practice every step.
Practice every step.
Practice every step.
